Hello I am trying to use the NFC Tuning Circuit to use this anteanna (https://www.te.com/en/product-L000641-01.html) to work with ST25R200 (https://www.st.com/en/nfc/st25r200.html).Some of the parameters needed on the tool are not on the antenna datasheet. Can I still use the tool with other OK values or I need to find the real value of the parameters?Any response is greatly apriciated, thank you for your attention.

Hello,I am trying to compile the Openst Linux for my custom board. I did it succeed in the Kirskstone distro which is based on tf-a. Now I try compiling the latest Openstlinux (6.0, scarthgap) with the optee-os but encounter a problem with the file generation. The problem I have is as followsWARNING: st-image-weston-1.0-r0 do_image_complete: Missing 'EULA_FILE_ST' var : no image license copied... Hello, my aim is to achieve a reliable receiving UDP speed with stm32mp13 while sending a payload of 150 mbit/s.I did performance tests of 1 gigabit Ethernet using a MYD-YF13X development board and iperf3. Here are some of my results:19% packet drop rate at 150 mbit/s is, for my purpose, unacceptable. I think the problem is related to either the MPU or the YT8521SH Ethernet PHY.But I doubt it is the second one, so I would focus on the MPU itself. It seems to me that the MPU is not fast enough to achieve a sensible >100 mbit/s receiving speed. The architecture is arm 32bit, which has 32KB cache memory inclusive. The amount of cache is decisive for receiving huge payloads. Could it be the reason for such a performance? What was the reason to put 100 mbit PHYs and not 1 gbit into the STM32MP135F-DK? Best,J. Hello,I am trying the open-st-linux-eglfs distribution with my QT application. When QT load my QML I am facing with this error :  module "QtQuick.Controls" is not installedHow can I verify the installation of qtquick control in my distribution ?

Hi,I can't get the external loader to work in STM32G491.For the test, I replaced the bodies of the Init()/Erase()/Write() function with LED blinking. I did this to check if the functions are called correctly. Hello,I have used to read EXTI.SWIER1 to know if interrupt comes from SWI or external. But it seems that WB55 doesn't allow to read anymore the SWIER1 register. The RM notices that reading SWIER1 returns always '0'.So my question is : How to know the source of the interrupt ?EXTI.PR1 indicates an interrupt is pending but it is not very discriminant.

I've followed the READMEs for the installation of the dev package, source, and kernel and generated a build folder for the kernel as suggested at ~/st/stm32mp2-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v24.11.06/sdk/Developer-Package/stm32mp2-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v24.11.06/sources/aarch64-ostl-linux/linux-stm32mp-6.6.48-stm32mp-r1-r0/build In the build folder I see folders include, scripts, a link to source as well as files Makefile, .config .config.old, and .gitignore. When I run make ${IMAGE_KERNEL} vmlinux dtbs LOADADDR=0xC2000040 O="${OUTPUT_BUILD_DIR}" I get make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'Image.gz'. Stop.make: *** [/home/lelory/st/stm32mp2-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v24.11.06/sdk/Developer-Package/stm32mp2-openstlinux-6.6-yocto-scarthgap-mpu-v24.11.06/sources/aarch64-ostl-linux/linux-stm32mp-6.6.48-stm32mp-r1-r0/linux-6.6.48/Makefile:234: __sub-make] Error 2 What am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone,I have an existing project on the STM32H753VIT6 and I need to add three-phase motor control (FOC mode) via STDRIVE101 driver. The question is whether my approach to importing the MCSDK into my project is correct.Due there is no support for my MCU in MC Workbench, I choose NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q and generate a project for it. (also I choose A2212 13T motor and X-NUCLEO-IHM09M1 bridge). As far as I understand, STM32CubeIDE desn't have possibility to automatically import the configuration from H745 to H753 (?). Therefore, I need to configure the MCU myself via CubeMX, or transfer partially the contents of the .ioc file of the generated H745 project to my one (however it is not recommended to change this file). But look like in order for "Motor Control" to appear in "Middleware and Software Packs" in "Pinout & Configuration" in any case, it is necessary to edit the .ioc file and add following: ExtraMW=MotorControl ExtraMW.MotorControl.Config=MotorControl ExtraMW.MotorCo

Hi there. I am testing my circuit with a 3.3V sine wave that has a 1.65V DC offset. PC01 has the Signal InputPC02 has the 1.65V.Looking at the output file from the ADC, I am not getting the total signal. 0-4096. My wave is between 1000 and 3000 approx. Is there a reason why the signal is attenuated 50%? I signal on the input has a 3.3V amplitude on a scope at the PIN. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

Hi,I am struggling to make PDM2PCM library work. My projects build without issues, but when I upload them to the board , program executes until it reaches PDM_Filter_setConfig function (tested with breakpoints). After that, it goes to infinite loop caused by watchdog.I tried to integrate this library in a project with my own drivers and it was the first time I ran into this problem. To make things simple, I created an empty project to run the configuration only. The result was unfortunately the same.I am using 32F411EDISCOVERY kit. I tested the lib using STM32Cube F4 1.28.0 and 1.26.2 packages. I am not using HAL.Below you can find the code I used in the simpler project (it is basically code copied and pasted from the official docs).     #include <stdint.h> #define STM32F411xE #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include "pdm2pcm_glo.h" int main(void) { RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_CRCEN; CRC->CR = CRC_CR_RESET; PDM_Filter_Handler_t PDM1_filter_handler; PDM_Filter_C

Hi,I'm getting a problem in my project, where I tried to create a loopback between I2S3 and I2S4 on STM32F411 Disco. It seems that only the least significant bit of 16-bit packets is somehow shifted to the next packet. The rest of the transmission is intact. For example - I send {0x0001 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000} and I get {0x0000 0x0000 0x0001 0x0000}, but if I send {0xFFFE 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000}, I will receive {0x0000 0x0000 0x0000 0xFFFE}.Packets order reversal is expected, but during analysis pay attention what happens with the least significant bit. Another example: transmitting {0x8001 0x0000 0x0000 0x0000} will end up with receiving {0x0000 0x0000 0x0001 0x8000} (I'd expect {0x0000 0x0000 0x000 0x8001}).What is also interesting, readouts from logic analyzer seem to be correct.I am not using HAL, I am configuring registers manually. I2S4 is configured as master receiver and uses DMA. I2S3 is configured as slave transmitter and I tried "feeding" it both with polling and interrupts. I alw

Moved from the Motor Control forum as this has nothing to do with motor control. i am using stm32f469 discovery with architecture um1932, in MX i configured for Host only host CDC class for full speed (FS) my clock configuration is also correct (48mhz for USB) also i codded to transmit data to USB device which is motor controller , i am getting application ready state and USB_OK state after transmitting some data over USB but the device is not responding, what will be the reason. but when i do the same by using stm32f469i example code provided by stm it is working . i need to check the HOST is transmitting or not how can i ensure this. please someone suggest me what are the procedure i need to follow for configuring and debugging the USB HOST CDC

Hi guys, im initializing a low/ultra low power project and i will use the STM32C011J4M6, i need to know if a general purpose timer like the TIM14 can wakeup the microcontroller in the low power modes (sleep, stop, etc).I was reading the datasheet (i haven't read it all yet), and i didnt find my answer, i went to write the code to try and see what would work and I couldn't implement it in stop or sleep mode.Something strange also happened, when I put only it to sleep and flashing an led worked normal when connected to STlink, but when I put it in an external source to measure the current, it seemed that the flash "went off" (it didn't perform what it was running before, even with the power at 3.3v.) can anyone answer me what would that be?Anyway, my project will be a loop of a simple ADC reader, basically, what im trying to do is:Power on > sleep > timer interrupt > wakeup > ADC read > if adc read is bigger than X > activate a pin > else > sleep. If you

OS: Kubuntu Linux 24.04IDE: STM32CubeIDE 1.17.0 Hello,STM32CubeIDE shows the message "No ST-LINK detected!". Neither the command "lsusb" nor VirtualBox are showing the device. I tried different cables and different USB ports. The quick start guide (UM3276) tells me to "install the STLINK-V3EC USB driver available on the www.st.com website", but there is only a Windows driver. In contrast to this, a NUCLEO-F446ZE board gets detected fine.Is it a dead board or is there any driver I have to install before? If so, where can I find it?

@Tesla DeLorean Hi! Thank you for helping me with the BOOTING process. However, I have a question about the peripherals. I am planning to control a TFT screen that requires 40 pins and RGB protocol. At first, I was planning to choose random GPIOs to build the protocol (I am trying to learn by making it rather than just applying something already built), and I noticed that if I choose to use LTDC, some pins light up, as well as for connectivity like SPI... The pins selected by the IDE to do such tasks have any special characteristics? do they toggle faster? or could I do just the same applying the protocol to any other random set of GPIOs?

Hello, I would like to have advice, I see this video about SD Card :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9KDN1o6924&t=359sAnd in the video (5:30) I can see DMA tab via CubeMXBut with me I don't have this tab, do you know why ?I have STM32L552E-EV Evaluation Board with STM32L552ZET6QU microcontroller, after me It's possible to have the DMA with SD Card.I have this Version: 1.13.1 for STM32CubeIDEThank you for your helps.Regards

IN AN4899, figure 18, it states:"To reduce power consumption, setthe pin as a push-pull output anddrive it in the same direction as theinternal pull-up / pull-down resistor.Alternately, set pin as analog input."I'm a little confused here. If there is already an internal pull-up, for example, then why would you drive it high again in push-pull mode? Why not use open drain with a pull-up/pull-down or simply output low in push-pull configuration? STM32 microcontroller GPIO hardware settings and low-power consumption - Application noteI am using STM32H743

Good Morning,We're looking at using an STM32H753ZIT MCU on a project, but we need to know the freely available revision due to the bootloader differences across revisions, or at least how to tell which revision version we'll be ordering (should we order a batch from somewhere like Digi-Key)?Thanks in advance,Crispin

Hi.I got a new (never used) STM32L031K6T6 chip. Put it on a breakout board. Add a 0.1uF and a reset switch.I am powering the chip through the st-link.Tried it with BOOT0 High & LOW. did not work. What I found weird too is that the REST pin is always LOW on the chip.

Hi, I planned of implementing this library in a new STM32G4 application. I have no RTOS, and I need to make  cryptographic functions calls from both main loop and interrupts. So, instead of wasting time in building a thread-safe scheduling mechanism that's perhaps not necessary, it would be very helpful knowing in advance what cryptolib functions are already reentrant... if not the entire library. Another doubts is regarding HAL's: Cryptolib examples are all based on HAL's, but I only use the LL library. I tried some cryptolib functions adapting the CRC module initialization to LL's and they seem working fine. However getting an explicit confirmation that the entire x-cube-cryptolib is actually NOT based on HAL's would speed its implementation up. Thanks!

Hi, for my diploma project I made a DSP guitar effects pedal - designed a custom PCB and everything. On it I have an STM32F405RGT7 and a TLV320AIC33IRGZT audio codec. The codec is set up using I2C. The problem occurs when I try to communicate with it - I used a logic analyser and both lines (SDA and SCL) are continuously held LOW. I tried a new project and did the setup again with a simple I2C scanner - still nothing. I then tried to set the pins as GPIO pins and held them HIGH and then they both remained HIGH as they should - I think that hardware is not an issue since I have triple checked every connection, and given that the GPIO can hold the lines HIGH nothing appears to be shorted. I now believe the problem lies in the code but I just can see what could go wrong - does anyone have any idea?
