Hello,I'm designing a battery powered device with integrated payment terminal. The goal is to pass EMV Level 1 certification. Our approach is very bare metal. We design the board, circuitry and firmware from scratch. No HAL or RFAL is being used. Our own proprietary C++ library for ST MCUs is.For the past few weeks I've struggled with antenna matching so that Analogue Tests for Radio Frequency Power TAB111 pass on all three EMVCo Test PICCs. That's ok now and I believe my system has a proper antenna shape, impedance and Q so that the signal shape is correct. But I'm facing issues with demodulation. In certain conditions an IRQ due to start of receive doesn't occur. Namely when Negative modulation is transmitted by PICC. Or when TEST PICC with High Linear Load is used for testing. When no load is applied, the result of Measure Amplitude is 2.74 V, which is very close to recommended 2.8 V on RFI inputs. The voltage divider appears to be chosen correctly. Even with high load, the Voltage hov

Hi all           I am using stm32H747I-disco board .Can anyone please help with the example to control the brightness of the display     Thank you.

Hi, I am using STM32G0B1x MCU on my custom hardware and using built in FD CAN controller for communication with external CAN 2.0 device. ATA6560/1 is the CAN transceiver chip from Microchip I am using on my custom board. As per datasheet this chip is CAN FD ready.  I have gone through application note AN5348 and also video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGRvVKfs2-0 for using FDCAN in normal operating mode. It tells me to use kvaser tool to calculate values for parameters for CAN controller settings. I used this tool with following inputs to achieve Nominal and Data bit rate as 125Kbps. My external CAN2.0 device works at 125Kbps. I got calculated parameter values as below: I was able to set values for Nominal parameters but for Data parameters, calculated values are far away out of range and STM32CubeIDE is a not allowing me to set these values. As per calculation, Data SJW = 255 but tool says its value can be between 1 to 16.  Same is issue with Data Time

MCSDK:mdsdk6.3.1 In the decoupling term calculation of the current loop, is there an error? welecT is of the fixp30_t type, while the compensation term uses FIXP_mpy(upQ, welecT). The result obtained in this case should still be Q30. Should FIXP_mpy be changed to FIXP30_mpy?

Hello,I'm trying to use the USB-HS peripheral with the built-in PHY on Nucleo STM32H7S3L8I'm using CubeMX generated code from CubeIDE. I have not chosen the Nucleo board on CubeMX, because it was causing some issues with the MPU. Instead, I've chosen the MCU (STM32H7S3L8).The peripheral times out during initialization at a usb core soft reset, just after enabling the internal PHY. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone been able to use the USB HS PHY on this device/board.This is the USB_CoreReset call where I am getting a HAL_TIMEOUT:   HAL_StatusTypeDef USB_CoreInit(USB_OTG_GlobalTypeDef *USBx, USB_OTG_CfgTypeDef cfg) { HAL_StatusTypeDef ret; #if defined (USB_OTG_HS) if (USBx == USB_OTG_HS) { if (cfg.phy_itface == USB_OTG_HS_EMBEDDED_PHY) { /* Init The UTMI Interface */ USBx->GUSBCFG &= ~(USB_OTG_GUSBCFG_TSDPS); } /* Reset after a PHY select */ ret = USB_CoreReset(USBx); ...    These are the things in the code which are possibly relev

What's the max current of the mosfet in the L6924D?We want to use AC adaptor to charge the battery and supply the system loading at the same time. So, we want to know the max current of power mosfet.Thank you.

I'm trying to change from ST25DV16K board to ST25DV64KC and use it.The board setup part seems to be fine, but there's a problem with the interrupt setup part.When writing data to the EEPROM of the tag board with RF from NFC08A1, the code that worked on 16K doesn't work on 64KC. What's the problem?This is my code.int nfc_gpo_it_init(){    int ret = 0;    ST25DV_PASSWD passwd = {.MsbPasswd = 0, .LsbPasswd=0};      if (ST25DV_PresentI2CPassword(&NfcTagObj, passwd) < 0)    {        printf("Error Point1\n");        return -1;    }    ret = Nfctag_Drv->ConfigIT(&NfcTagObj, ST25DV_GPO_ENABLE_MASK | ST25DV_GPO_RFWRITE_MASK);    if(ret != 0)    {        printf("error\n\r");    }    passwd.MsbPasswd = 123;    passwd.LsbPasswd = 123;    if (ST25DV_PresentI2CPassword(&NfcTagObj, passwd) < 0)&nbs

Hello! I've designed a PCB using STM32F407vgt6 but I cannot get it to connect using ST-LINK/V2 via the SWD interface. When I try to connect using STM32 ST-LINK Utility, I get the following error: Can not connect to target!"Connect Under Reset" mode from Target->Settings menu and try again. If you're trying to connect to a low frequency application , please select a lower SWD Frequency mode from Target->Settings menu.No target connectedNeither suggestion in the error message solves the issue.I have confirmed the ST-LINK/V2 adapter works because it connects to STM32F407-DISC1, which also uses STM32F407vgt6, using STM32 ST-LINK Utility and ST-LINK/V2 via SWD with no issue.I've confirmed that the SWDIO pins, power, NRST and BOOT0 and BOOT1 are connected correctly per the wiring diagram using a multimeter and inspected all other solder joints and they all look okay. I also tried adding in 10K pullups to 3.3V on SWDIO and SWCKL but it didn't help so they are removed in the picture.

Hello,I am working on a project where I need to read the UID of an NFC tag using the ST25R3916 and communicate via I2C. After powering on, I can successfully read single register, but after setting the device to "Ready mode" by setting bit 7 of the Operation Control Register (0x02), I only read zeros, even when attempting to read the FIFO.

Hi,When I try to run the sample code for LED Toggle from external flash memory, which is provided in the STM32CubeH7RS package by ST at the link [https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7RS], I get the following error: Break at address "0x80010e4" with no debug information available, or outside of program code. The location of the directory in my PC is: D:\STM32CubeH7RS\Projects\NUCLEO-H7S3L8\Examples\GPIO\GPIO_IOToggle I followed the steps mentioned in the below **README file**  However, I can load & debug the program to the external flash using the method shown in this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPiFBzvCWfI&t=1422s] **My question:** Why is the sample code provided by ST not running from external flash? Is there any additional configuration required? **System Information:**-- Board: NUCLEO-H7S3L8-- STM32CubeIDE: Version 1.17.0 (Build: 23558_20241155_2245)-- STM32CubeMX: Version 6.13.0-RC5 (Build: 20241122-0809)&

I have an application running on STM32G491 which uses the RTC. There is an external 32768Hz crystal and a backup coin cell battery (I have checked that it is not depleted: 3.12V). There are two issues:Scenario #1: I pull the main battery, wait a bit, re-insert it, and restart the firmware (I hold a power button until a power latch is toggled on by the firmware). The RTC loses the time and resets to zero roughly half the time. The RTC initialisation code calls  HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig() and then HAL_RTC_Init(). I periodically call HAL_RTC_GetTime() followed by HAL_RTC_GetDate() while the application is running.Scenario #2: I don't pull the main battery but power down the device a bit more gracefully (I hold the power button until the power latch is toggled off). Then I restart the firmware as above. In this case it the RTC does not lose the time but it seems that the RTC does not increment during the powered-off period.SystemClock_Config() enables the LSE and the RTC uses this as

We are continuing having a bear of a time getting the USB2514 to work properly with the STM327H73 both with the USB2514 built into our board and also with the STM327H73 connected to a EVB-USB2514BCQFM36 eval board. The latest issue is as follows:Connect a cdc acm port for serial connection to one of the USB portsConnect a USB storage drive to another port. When writing to the USB drive after a short amount of time the USB drive will hang and ultimately timeout. It appears that the HCINT OUT interrupt is never received for the last write to the USB. The USBx storage thread is hung and there it will stay. Incidentally once the HCINT OUT interrupt gets dropped then there is a subsequent interrupt storm. the symptom is in file X, the bulk output transfer blocks on a semaphore and that semaphore times out. The semaphore is signaled on completion of the transfer in the HC INT OUT interrupt and there is one more send than complete and then the timeout occurs.Has anybody seen anyt

Other chips have the erratum "Transmit data FIFO is corrupted when a write sequence to the FIFO is interrupted with accesses to certain OTG_HS registers" (eg ES0392 2.25.2 for STM32H743). It isn't listed in the ES0596 rev5 errata for STM32H7Rxx/7Sxx - are those devices unaffected, or it just hasn't been listed there? Thanks.

Imagine my susprise when i discovered ST actually offers a DAB "software" for their 25KW evaluation board using stm32G474RE. And i go to ST's website. And the only downloadables are binary files and a lazy one page .pdf Am i missign something here? where is the code?

The problem I'm facing is that the Touchgfx doesn't know anything about additional link paths that I've setting up through IDE. Steps:1. Create the project with touchgfx designer;2. In the root of the project create a folder, then add .h and .c files there. Let's say myfile.h and myfile.c. In myfile.h file you defines one function, in myfile.c just an empty implementation;3. Add path to included files in linker;4. Include myfile.h in main.c and use somewhere empty function;5. Build the project. The project will build without errors. But if you go to the designer and press button "Program and Run Target", it will cause an error: Core/Src/main.c:28:10: fatal error: myfile.h: No such file or directory #include "myfile.h".

Hello,As far as I know,STM32 does not support the POSIX abstraction layer for FreeRTOS.That means I can not use functions like:Interact with tasks through: 'pthread_create', 'pthread_join'..Use POSIX glue elements like: 'pthread_mutex'...EtcIf I am porting a big FreeRTOS project that is using POSIX to STM32:  what I need to do? Is there a way of achieving it painlessly? Thanks,Carles

Hi,The STM32Cube and Azure RTOS hands-on workshop MOOC is missing the example workshop material file. The MOOC link takes one to a single PDF with setup instructions which include a link for "STM32-AZURE-RTOS-WS-Material.exe". This required file is missing from the Google Drive location.Could you please make the workshop materials available?1. MOOC page:2. Google Drive link from above MOOC:3. Workshop setup PDF with link to materials which takes one back to step (2) above:Many thanks,Matthew.

I'm using STM32F070CBT at 8mhz with almost all pins active (used for GPIOs, PWM, SPI,I2C,etc) , i'm using a timer to enter stop mode with low power regulator and waking up using GPIO external event, after waking up i checked that PWMs and GPIOs are still working but SysTick seems to have stopped as all delay functions enter a infinite loop on HAL_GetTick inside the delay function and SysTick_Handler is not being called anymore (i tested that using breakpoints) , i tried to activate SysTick again using :Hal_Init();HAL_ResumeTick();HAL_InitTick(0);SysTick->CTRL=0b011;also tried to set SysTick priority to 0, also tried to recall "SystemClock_Config();" alongside SysTick activate function but it didn't work too , does anybody know what i need to do in order to re-activate SysTick?

I'm working with the STEVAL-25R200SAand trying to implement Transparent Mode to directly receive raw data from the MISO line. I've followed the datasheet and configured everything as per the documentation, but I'm still not receiving any data.Setup and Code Implementations:In my main() function, the while loop calls these functions repeatedly:while (1) { serCycle(); enterTransparencyMode(); readTransparentMode(); HAL_Delay(1000); }I start by calling enterTransparencyMode() which ensures the transmitter and receiver are enabled, configures the AFE, sends the command to enter Transparent Mode, and raises the BSS (CS) line to keep it high as required by the datasheet:void enterTransparencyMode(void) { printf("Setting up device for transparency mode\r\n"); // Read initial state uint8_t regValue, statusReg; st25r200ReadRegister(ST25R200_OPERATION_REGISTER, &regValue); st25r200ReadRegister(ST25R200_STATUS_REGISTER, &statusReg); printf("Initial state - Operation: 0x%02X, St

Hello everyone,I have the problem that only these 2 files are displayed on my Project Explorer. Once testpro and testpro.ioc all other files are missing, for example the C program main.c. My question is can someone help me to fix this problem?

I'm unable to enable STM32_BLE in "sofware and middleware" on the STM32WB07CCVX  in STM32CUBEMX as it's greyed out. Also, "RADIO" is greyed out too. Are there any guides on how I can set up BLE in STM32CUBEMX or does anyone know why these options are greyed out.

STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.12.1Build: 16088_20230420_1057 (UTC)I am trying to use one of the examples from the STM32Cube_FW_WB0_V1.1.0 package, but I am unable to build any of them. After importing the project into STM32CubeIDE (I have tried BLE_Beacon and BLE_Power_Consumption), I attempt to build it, but I get the error shown in the image. At this point, I have to force close CubeIDE from the Task Manager because the program gets stuck with hundreds of error windows popping up.I'm obviously missing a step, but I can't figure out which one. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Hello,  I'm looking for advices to place the module STM32WL5MOC in bootloader mode from different methods : Through BOOT0 and NRST but I can not find the communication interface that I can communicate with (for example UART) this specific mcu in the application note AN2606. Also, I'm interested to know how can I access to the new firmware stored in the External memory flash for firmware update as the flash that is in the dev board B-WL5M-SUBG1 using as an example. Is it possible to place this module in bootloader mode in the software if I can not have access to the BOOT0 and NRST from an external device that can control it? Any example to do FUOTA point to point if I want to use the SubGHz modulation and not LoRaWAN server?

Hello,I am configuring a project from scratch for a STM32 FreeRTOS based. From FreeRTOS documentation: https://www.freertos.org/Documentation/02-Kernel/02-Kernel-features/01-Tasks-and-co-routines/03-Task-priorities     Low priority numbers denote low priority tasks. The idle task has priority zero (tskIDLE_PRIORITY).     https://www.freertos.org/Documentation/0   2-Kernel/02-Kernel-features/01-Tasks-and-co-routines/15-Idle-task     It is possible for application tasks to share the idle task priority (tskIDLE_PRIORITY). See the configIDLE_SHOULD_YIELD configuration parameter for information on how this behaviour can be configured.     https://github.com/maniacbug/FreeRTOS/blob/master/task.h#L125     #define tskIDLE_PRIORITY ( ( unsigned portBASE_TYPE ) 0U )     This matches with what I can see from my project debugging: But, I don't understant why in STM32 code, in 'cmsis_os2.h', IDLE thread priority is '1' instea
