I would like to increase the code readout protection level from 0 to 1 programmatically in an STM32G030.  I must be doing something silly and if anyone sees it, I'd be grateful.  I've stepped through it with the debugger and the flash and option byte locks are indeed removed. The write to the option register doesn't show up in the debugger (still shows 0xAA), There are no errors in the FLASH SR or CR registers after the OPTSTART bit is set.  The debugger loses connection when OBL_LAUNCH is set (presumably due to the reset).  After the reset, the RDP byte in the flash OPTR is still set to 0xAA. It is still 0xAA after the device is power cycled. The code is:    // Set code readout protection __disable_irq(); // unlock flash memory (LOCK bit in FLASH_CR) FLASH->KEYR = 0x45670123; FLASH->KEYR = 0xCDEF89AB; // wait for flash unlocked while (FLASH->CR & FLASH_CR_LOCK); // clear option lock (OPTLOCK bit in FLASH_CR) FLASH->OPTKEYR = 0

Hi @John E KVAM ... I have seen several discussions about best way to use multiple VL53L4CX sensors, and I've appreciated your responses.  ("Every reboot is its own adventure!").  I'm currently implementing an unusual setup that has 5 of these sensors that could conceivably interfere with one another - we are trying to get our mounting and the view-cones to be as independent as possible, but it can't be guaranteed.   We are using the bare STM32duino library on an ESP32 (Arduino/C++) micro, which is also doing many other things.Given the physical setup of our system, it is difficult to run single lines to all the chips for XSHUT.  We would very much like to work only with the simple STEMMA/QT-style 4-conductor I2C cabling.   For this reason, we've opted to use an I2C multiplexer, rather than changing the addresses of the chips. So my questions are: 1. Is there an I2C command to tell the chip to reset itself?   In our projec

I want to use my custom dataset that is not supported by any of the .yaml files. Each yaml file example seems to only work with a dataset that is compliant to their specific use case. For example audio event detection supports ESC format and requires preprocessing configurations -or any other type of metadata- that seems to be meaningful only for .wav files; or the image classification training yaml file requires preprocessing configurations which only make sense for image data. Can I use a custom dataset (maybe .txt or sth) to train my custom model with model zoo like in https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32ai-modelzoo-services/blob/main/audio_event_detection/deployment/doc/tuto/how_to_define_and_train_my_own_model.md ? How do I tweak the user_config.yaml file in order to do so?

I'm trying to identify this two terminal components. It has these identifiers on it "CBJ GP 950", but there is a chance the GP is a 6P, but G looks correct. There are not cathode markings so I'm guessing it's not a diode, unless it's bidiretctional.  Please help!

Hi everyone,I’m developing an application that tracks the path of a device using the ISM330BX IMU and sensor fusion. I’ve based my implementation on ST’s GitHub example for sensor fusion, and the rotation outputs appear to respond correctly when I move the sensor. Pitch and roll are stable, and the orientation updates as expected. However, I’m seeing significant drift in the yaw when the device is stationary. I understand that yaw is difficult to estimate accurately with only a 6-axis sensor (no magnetometer), but I’ve observed a big difference between my application and the ISM330BX demo board (STEVAL-MKI245KA) running in MEMS Studio. For example:On my custom board, I’ve observed drift of nearly 2° per minute at a 3.84 kHz data rate.Lowering the data rate to 30 Hz helps — I now see around 0.5° per minute. In contrast, with the demo board in MEMS Studio (also at 3.84 kHz), the drift is only about 0.1° per minute.I’m trying to figure out what could be causing the higher drift in my se

Hello folks. How can I determine the BLE MAC address of my WB55 device's wireless stack?

Hello ,I'm trying to flash in the NUCLEO WBA52CG the basic code example available in STM32CubeIDE. I use version 1.19 with Windows. It was originally version 1.17 and was updated in 1.19.No issue to generate the code or build it. I then connected the NUCLEO WBA52CG and wanted to flash in the board.I got the failure message "No device found on target." Can anyone help me ?I added below a pictures of the connected board. Some leds ( green and red ones) are blinking but I don't know if it's OK or notThanks in advanceRegardsSerge

Hello, I am currently working on implementing a memory-to-memory DMA transfer on a STM32N6 board, but I have trouble making the DMA work (GPDMA or HPDMA).I tried to follow the Reference Manual for a LL implementation, but my code doesn't work and I can't find why. I'm a beginner in using DMAs but I still managed to make the DMA work on smaller STM32s such as the STM32F411RE, by following the User Manual, but on STM32N6, it does not work. You can find my code on the figure below. I have 8 bytes to transfer between two buffers in a secured AXISRAM2 memory space. I chose to transfer bursts such that 1 burst = 1 beat = 1 byte. I chose HPDMA because I am transferring data in AXISRAMs (I assumed it wouldn't work with GPDMA since it is adapted to AHB/APB).When I debug my code I can see that the Transfer Complete Flag in the Status Register was enabled but my destination buffer is still empty (it didn't copy the source buffer).Do you have any advice on why my code doesn't work ?

Can someone please provide a working download file for "STM32Cube function pack for STEVAL-PROTEUS1 sensor datalog and file transfer over BLE and USB"?The ZIP-File Version is corrupt. It cannot be extracted neither on Windows, Linux or Mac.Thank you.@

I am doing development for the STM32N6570-DK board in Zephyr. I can build a simply "blinky" project:$ west build -p always -b stm32n6570_dk ./applications/blinkyAnd can flash the device:$ west flash But when I try to debug:$ west debugserverI get this error:FATAL ERROR: no debugserver runner available for board stm32n6570_dk/stm32n657xx. Check the board's documentation for instructions.I have tried several variations of specifying the runner, but get an error each time, i.e.:$ west debugserver --runner jlinkFATAL ERROR: board stm32n6570_dk/stm32n657xx does not support runner jlinkTo fix, configure this runner in /home/stuart/ns-iot-dev-platform/zephyr/boards/st/stm32n6570_dk/board.cmake and rebuild.or$ west debug --runner openocd$ west debugserver --runner stlink_gdbserveretc.I am running Zephyr v4.1.1.Can someone please confirm that this chip is supported? Anyone tried to debug with Zephyr? Am I doing something wrong?Thank you!

Hi, I am running ST25R100 on a different processor and coding it at the register level. With the codes I shared below, I was able to run the chip in wakeup mode as I wanted and ensure that an interrupt occurs when the card is approached. However, I could not succeed in the second stage, which is reading the card. How can I do it, which registers should I write to, please help

Hello!We have recently updated our STM32CubeIDE to a newer version (1.19.0, from 1.18.0) and we have encountered an issue when using CubeMX. Whenever we launch the code generation some code sections in the file 'app_freertos.c' get duplicated. For example:/* Definitions for defaultTask */ osThreadId_t defaultTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t defaultTask_attributes = { .name = "defaultTask", .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityNormal, .stack_size = 1024 * 4 }; /* Definitions for i2c_Task */ osThreadId_t i2c_TaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t i2c_Task_attributes = { .name = "i2c_Task", .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityAboveNormal, .stack_size = 512 * 4 };will become:/* Definitions for defaultTask */ osThreadId_t defaultTaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t defaultTask_attributes = { .name = "defaultTask", .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityNormal, .stack_size = 1024 * 4 }; /* Definitions for i2c_Task */ osThreadId_t i2c_TaskHandle; const osThreadAttr_t i2c_Task_attributes = { .n

Hi allFor some reason my MCO(PA8) only outputting 8MHz despite me configuring it for 60MHzI am completely baffled because I have followed all the correct register settings(as far as I am aware) for the clock configuration, and have followed the clock diagram from the stm32cubeide       I'm working on an STM32U5G9x and its my first time working on such an advanced topic, so apologies beforehand. Kind regards

Hi, When I moved the default pin assignment to the alternative, in this it is PA15, as the below picture shows PA15 now sports a "pin" icon. What is the significance of this please? Edited by ST Moderator to add the right label.

In my upcoming system I will be needing to use dynamic bitmaps. Can dynamic bitmaps be located on the same RAM device (say SDRAM on STM32F469 discovery board) that is being used as the frame buffer?I can carve out a piece of the SDRAM for the dynamic bitmaps, but is the DMA2D going to complain? Thanks,Andrei

Hello team, I am new to STM32CubeIDE. I have a NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board. When I try to open an example project, it shows the message: 'Target NUCLEO-H743ZI2 is obsolete according to marketing status,' and the .ioc file is not generating. I have already installed the latest version of the IDE. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I'm trying to generate an HID keyboard through CubeMX for USBX. I'm using an F411CE based board so picked the appropriate software pack for that. However, when I go to pick to pick components, I can only see the generic HID pack instead of separate keyboard and mouse packs as I've seen here before. I'd usually be fine with this and add the keyboard files in myself but this generic HID pack is based on a mouse implementation and adds a lot of unnecessary bloat to the stack. Is there a way to generate the files without the ux_device_mouse files?

After doing some primary embedded projects (LED, user button etc) on my MCU (Nucleo-64 STM32 F411RE) I'm now dealing with timers. Here's my clock configurations1- Does anything look wrong?2- While my clock rate is 100 MHZ (as written on my board pack), should I change that 84 (in the HCLK (MHz) field) to 100 in the configuration?

I have custom board with STM32C071 micro controller (I used stm32c031 before) and I can't flash it via UART (cant connect in STM32CubeProgrammer).UART Used - USART1 (PA9/PA10) with auto baud rate (57600)STM32CubeProgrammer - v2.20.0Jump to boot loader mode from FW and can confirm it with st-link debug(with empty flash - dont work too).Flashing via ST-Link works well, but it will not be available when the device is in the case, so i need UART flashing. When i connect directly to the device and send 0x7f it doesn't respond as it should. The only suspicion is that the device does not reassign pins from PA11 PA12 to PA9 PA10, since it uses USB on these pins, because STM32C031 on the same board flashing well, it have no USB and doesn't have this problemSTM32CubeProgrammer log:12:52:33:798 : RTS low 12:52:33:799 : DTR Low 12:52:33:799 : Serial Port ttyUSB2 is successfully opened. 12:52:33:799 : Port configuration: parity = even, baudrate = 57600, data-bit = 8, stop-bit = 1,0, flow-control = of

Hello fellow users! I'm trying to implement the Fusion MOTIONFX library with the board X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1 and the nucleo board NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q so I can output via terminal all the values. So far I can output the fusion values but they are wrong as I need to define the sensors orientation on the PCB board (real world) and there is no documentation that indicates this for the IKS02A1 (I also have the IKS4A1 and such info also is not avilable) So will be nice of ST to have a:1)definitive guide or schematic showing the physical orientation of the sensor axes (ISM330DHCX, IIS2MDC and IIS2DLPC) on the X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1.2) The recommended orientation strings (acc_orientation, gyro_orientation, mag_orientation) for this specific board.3) Clarification: Does the user need to remap the sensor axes manually in code to match the declared orientation strings? Or does MotionFX internally handle axis rotation based on the strings?4) Ideally: an official reference example with working

Original title (over long): "using stedgeai, i can generate network.c/ network_data.c/ network_data_params.c, however, how can i generate the ll-aton runtime related files?"Dear ST. How can I generate the ll-aton runtime related file with my weight such as network.c, network_data.c, network_params.c? i already generate the above c files using stedgeai cli command.I fine-tune the weight of yolov8n.pt with my dataset to best.pt and best.onnx. i can convert best.onnx to saved_models or h5, eventually tflite which includes quantization int8.after that, using stedgeai cli, it is easy to me for generating the above c files. however  i can't generated aton related files. how can i generate the aton related files?for the information, i use the stm32n657 nucleo board.

hi  , i want to use STM32Mx to validate  my model(.onnx) on target STM32N6570-DK board ,now STM32MX is 6.15.0 and Toolchain/IDE select STM32CUBEIDE,when i connect board to PC,and click the validate on target,it show me error like this:  File "C:\Users\lenovo\STM32Cube\Repository\Packs\STMicroelectronics\X-CUBE-AI\10.1.0\scripts\N6_scripts\n6_utils_pkg\config_reader.py", line 100, in sanitize_config     check_path_entry_ok(self.data, k)   File "C:\Users\lenovo\STM32Cube\Repository\Packs\STMicroelectronics\X-CUBE-AI\10.1.0\scripts\N6_scripts\n6_utils_pkg\config_reader.py", line 74, in check_path_entry_ok     raise ValueError(f"Path for entry {key} does not exist: {rv}") ValueError: Path for entry objcopy_binary_path does not exist: C:/Users/foobar/TOOLS/gcc-arm-none-

Hi,I am working with an AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1, and trying to debug using the debugger AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKA through the JTAG port. I did a very simple code because all I am interested in now is to ensure that the debugger works properly. The debugging session seems to start properly, as no errors or interruptions occur during the starting phase. The problem is that "Peripherals" and "Memory" are complitely empty while the debug session is running. At the beginning of every debug session the following message shows up: "Break at address "0x404100" with no debug information available, or outside of program code." May it be related to the problem I am encountering?. What I could do? Thanks.
