Hello, can you please update the RN0114 document STM32CubeIDE Release Notes with the new info for v1.2.1, as the website contains the v1.2.0 version onlyThanks

When I2C interface is enabled no I2C GPIOs are displayed in the GPIO section. I was forced to assign them manually in the pinout view.

Upgraded STM32CubeMX from 5.4.0 to 5.5.0 and H7 firmware package to V1.6.0 and migrated. When generating code it tells me the code is successfully generated but STM32CubeIDEproject generation have a problem.Building the project fails: make: *** No rule to make target 'C:/git/ELS/sbc_bootloader/CM7/Src/sys.c', needed by 'Application/User/sys.o'. Stop.The same thing happens if I start a new project.I'm using the STM32H745ZITx.STM32CubeIDEproject generation have a problem, what problem? Please fix :)

If you wolud have, could you send me to my e-mail??,isai98lol@outlook.comI do not know What is the model....

We are using STM32H743I_EVAL boards. I have gone through number of examples from "STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.6.0\Projects\STM32H743I-EVAL\Examples" folder. None of these examples seems to be for STM32CubeIDE. STM32CubeIDE does seem to know how to convert, for example, an SW4STM32 project to a STM32CubeIDE based project. This is fine with me, but I don't see a .ioc file for CubeMX under this converted project. I would like to have the graphical capability with the converted project to configure the firmware features. How do I use CubeMX tool with one of these converted projects from the examples folder.

Posted on May 08, 2018 at 14:00Hi, I was just started with CAN peripheral on my stm32f446re nucleo board. The problem i am facing is HAL_CAN_Init()  added by cubeMx code generation software is failing at the below line of code it is returning HAL_ERROR in CAN1 LOOP BACK MODEThat means the controller has not set SLAK to zero even if we clear the SLEEP bit i believe that CAN TX is internally connected to can rx and can rx is not sampled . on the board i have made no connection to the can tx and can rx. its just a single board. Please let me know what i am doing wrong . /* Exit from sleep mode */ CLEAR_BIT(hcan->Instance->MCR, CAN_MCR_SLEEP);/* Get tick */ tickstart = HAL_GetTick();/* Check Sleep mode leave acknowledge */ while ((hcan->Instance->MSR & CAN_MSR_SLAK) != RESET) { if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) > CAN_TIMEOUT_VALUE) { /* Update error code */ hcan->ErrorCode |= HAL_CAN_ERROR_TIMEOUT;/* Change CAN state */

Hi,I've set up a PWM with TIM14_CH1 on pin PB1, using standard peripherial library and this worked fine (the signal on the output-pin was just as expected).Now I've tried to move the PWM signal from pin PB1 to PA4, still using TIM14_CH1, but with no success (the pin stays low, no pwm signal at all).Here is the code is used (: // PWM (Tim14) //-------------   // GPIOx Clock enable RCC_AHBPeriphClockCmd( RCC_AHBPeriph_GPIOB, ENABLE); //RCC_AHBPeriphClockCmd( RCC_AHBPeriph_GPIOA, ENABLE);   // GPIOx Pin configure (as alternate function push-pull) GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin_1; //GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin_4; GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_Mode = GPIO_Mode_AF; GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_Speed = GPIO_Speed_50MHz; GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_OType = GPIO_OType_PP; GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_PuPd = GPIO_PuPd_NOPULL; GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStructure); GPIO_PinAFConfig(GPIOB, GPIO_PinSource1, GPIO_AF_0); //GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStructure); //GPIO_PinA

HelloI am quite new to microcontroller programming.and this is my first code with my STM32F429I write the code with least help of library to learn the basic principle of microcontoller programming. This is what happened.I write a program that suppose to turn on/off led every one second(using timer2) or blink the led when I press the button(EXTI0) but my led doesn't turn on/off but Instead keep itseft on(halft brightness) until I press the button and triggered EXTI0 and then everything start working as it supposes to do.I am pretty sure,It my fault but I still can't figure it out what cause this weird problem. Here is my code,It's not very clean tho.#include "stm32f4xx.h"   void digitalWrite(GPIO_TypeDef *GPIOx,uint32_t pinNum,uint32_t state){ if(state)GPIOx->BSRRL |= (1<<pinNum); else GPIOx->BSRRH |= (1<<pinNum); }   int main(void) { RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_HPRE; RCC->CFGR &= ~RCC_CFGR_PPRE1; RCC->CFGR |= (5<<10); RCC->AHB1ENR |=

Hi, I don't really have an electronics background so this might be a silly question. Is there a reason why the ground pins on my Nucleo board (f767zi) are shorted with jumpers?Or are the jumpers only used to give the board ""feets""?I'm attaching a picture.

I set the dutycycle to 10 s :#define APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE 10000But when i run the program i get this :I join the network at first emission. Then i got two emissions at 150 s and 320 s and finally it becomes periodic but with a period of 50 s not 10 s.It looks like the MCU is waking up every 10 s but it doesn't send data every time. What is the problem and is there a way to fix it?

HiI have a WB Nucleo and a WB dongle running the STM32WB Cube CLI thread example code for both. Both are flashed with the latest thread binaries. If I run either two nucleo boards or two dongle boards together I can connect the two with the CLI example no problem. But if I try to connect a nucleo board to a dongle board, each board creates its own thread network and becomes the leader of that network. Note that I am running the correct example for both and I have retried this setup on different channels. Is there some configuration / hardware difference between the two that I am missing? Thanks for any help.

I have a board where STM32H743 is connected to a Microchip KSZ8873 for the PHY.In CubeMX generated code and examples, pin PA1 (RMII_REF_CLK) is configured as alt. function GPIO_AF11_ETH, mode GPIO_MODE_AF_PP.This works fine on eval. boards with a normal PHY such as LAN8742.Now, the hardware engineer says that for KSZ8873, pin 29 (REFCLKO_3) connected to the STM's PA1 is output, so on the MCU side PA1 should be input. It's much over my level of understanding :( so I'm asking here...Can STM32 AF pins be input at all? In the gpio .h file there are only two options for AF pins: output push/pull or open drain. That's all.And specific question about RMII_REF_CLK function of STM32H7: is there option to set it in more than one way, via SYSCONFIG or other esoteric way? With LAN8742, is RMII_REF_CLK output or input from the MCU side? Thanks in advance...-- pa

Hi,I use the .ioc file in STM32F746-DISCO v.3.0.0 project, import it to CUBE IDE and used the option to create a project form ioc file. But even i compiled and run in in stm32f746 board, nothing happens. Any reason for this, or whats the fix. My end goal is to make it compatible with a display of 800x480.

Hello, previously, I had no problem setting up the virtual UARTs in the the Ac6 IDE using STM32CubeMX 5.3.0. With the new 5.4.0, the OpenAMP initialization change a bit so, obviously I enabled in the openamp_conf.h the UART HAL module driver (virt_uart.c).   With the generated code (Cube 5.4.0) the openamp initalization hangs the M4 when executing MX_OPENAMP_Init(). : /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ __HAL_RCC_HSEM_CLK_ENABLE(); /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* IPCC initialisation */ MX_IPCC_Init(); /* OpenAmp initialisation ---------------------------------*/ MX_OPENAMP_Init(RPMSG_REMOTE, NULL); What are the possibilities to debug this? I suspect, the CM4 cannot connect to the CA7. Thank you very much. Thread #1 (Suspended : Sign

hi,I have connected cr95hf with ardunio uno, I am able to receive the response for IDN command correctly ,and set the protocol (ISO/IEC 14443-A) ,but the tag is not detecting, I have attached the code and response logs. I would like to know whats wrong with my code .I have taken the reference code code from the following linkhttps://community.st.com/s/global-search/cr95hf%20esp8266I have have changed only protocol, and done the wiring as mentioned in the coderesponse in serial monitor:StartedIDN COMMAND-RESPONSE CODE: 0 LENGTH: 15DEVICE ID: 4E 46 43 20 46 53 32 4A 41 53 54 34 0  ROM CRC: 2ACE PROTOCOL SET-NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87NO TAG IN RANGE - RESPONSE CODE: 87some times Iam getting response as below,#include <SPI.h>   const int SSPin = 10; // Slave Select pin const int IRQPin = 2; // Sends wake-up pulse

HiI'm trying to get run the X-CUBE-SBSFU application. I'm working with IAR Embedded workbench. Like in the manual, I built all applications in the following order:2_Images_SECoreBin2_Images_SBSFU2_Images_UserAppI'm working on a Nucleo-G474RE Board. I disabled all security features for debugging.Like I understand, I need to download first the 2_Images_SBSFU. If I do so and connect with the Tera Term I get the message:= [SBOOT] Flash Configuration KO: Dual bank mode activated. STOP!= [SBOOT] Security issue : execution stopped !I can't find the reason for this issue. So I tried to download the project "2_Images_UserApp" with IAR. Then I am able to download a new Firmware with the Y-modem:=======================================================================             (C) COPYRIGHT 2017 STMicroelectronics                ==   &nbsp

The configuration for the Timer 20 TRGO2 setting is not included in the generated source code. I verified using "git diff" that when changing the setting the only modified file is the .ioc.I'm using the low level library for this timer. I haven't verifed if it happens with HAL as well.CubeIDE:Version: 1.2.1Build: 5190_20200115_1224 (UTC)STM32CubeG4 Firmware Package V1.1.0 / 28-June-2019

I want to start with TouchGFX, but I see too much people in this forum struggling to do a basic project for a development boards from ST. I imagine how hard it should be a custom board.Has ST plans to release a basic step by step tutorial showing how to do a basic project for the STM32F746G Discovery board?

I am using the STM32MP157C-DK2For testing purpose I need to build and replace the BSP and in particular the bootloader. The documentation is a bit messy and I'm not able to find the information I need.I need to rebuild and replace TF-A and u-boot.I read so far:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/TF-A_overviewhttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Starter_Package_-_imageshttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32CubeProgrammer_flashlayoutWhere I can find all the sources and documentation explaining how to rebuild TF-A (Trusted Firmware-A)?Thank you.

Hi All,We have problem reading register values from L9945. We use STM32G474RE to communicate with it and the project was made using current STM32CubeMX and its FreeRTOS.Here are the SPI parameters in main.c: hspi2.Instance = SPI2; hspi2.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi2.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi2.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi2.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi2.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_2EDGE; hspi2.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi2.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_64; hspi2.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi2.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi2.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi2.Init.CRCPolynomial = 7; hspi2.Init.CRCLength = SPI_CRC_LENGTH_DATASIZE; hspi2.Init.NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_DISABLE;Here is the code using a HAL call to send and receive the register values, including temporary logging to produce raw sent/received output:std::optional<uint32_t> nowtech::L9945::read(uint32_t const aC

The HAL_NOR_ProgramBuffer() function in stm32h7xx_hal_nor.c has a few defects. It's untested code because it couldn't possibly work as it is. I'm not complaining about the defects. What bothers me is I can't find a way to register the defects with ST. If anyone knows of one, please let me know where I can access it.A register/database would give some hope the defect will be fixed in the future. A register would save us so much time debugging the code ST. Instead of every developer debugging the same defect over and over they can simply check the register. Trawling through forums just doesn't cut it.CheersDavid

I expect at least 22937 samples until the array is full. My guess now is, that my index counter "number_of_samples" rises faster than that the actual samples that are written into the array. After the index counter reaches the theoretical max value of samples the array would be written on the SD card. But before that the array is not full. Only around 3780 samples are written of the max. available 22937 samples.I can' t get my head around why me code isn't working.
