Hallo everybody,I'm still very inexperienced with the board and the tools.I start Unico and contact the STEVAL-MKI109V3 and get the following error:Please can someone give me a hint on how I can update the STEVAL-MKI109V3 board and where I can get the latest firmware from?I have already installed the STM32CubeProgrammer.When trying to switch the STEVAL-MKI109V3 board into DFU mode, the board appears in the Windows 10 Device Manager as "STM32 BOOTLOADER".Many thanksCarsten

I am looking to get a good power consumption measurement of my STM32L011K4. I bought the Nucleo-LPM01A for that. However, the project I've loaded onto my L011K4 does not load when in USB mode. I've checked the user manual UM2243, but that described only how to measure the power of the MCU as use case. What should/can I do?

Hi. i have some problem when verifying the board composed of STM32F030RCT7 with Keil IDE (MDK ARM). I still don't know much about FW, so I ask a few stupid questions.Problem 1. I am basically setting the project through STM32CubeMX. I checked that the option of [Set All free pins as analog] in the Code Generator of the Project Manager reduces the power consumption. I checked the [Debug Serial Wire] option. With these two settings, I found that the power saving option is checked and debugged as desired, but I don't understand one thing. In the Keil project setting, the reset after flash option is used among the Debugger options, and the timer that should be output every 1 second after uploading the firmware is output at a speed faster than 1 second. If you press the button connected to the RST, the output is normally every 1 second from then on. I am wondering why this is happening.Problem 2. Currently, 4 ADCs and 6 GPIO Outs are to be used. ADC tries to use 12 ~ 15 as DMA, GPIO uses

Hello, I have recently switched computers and i have installed Keil IDE and CubeMX 5.6.0 onto the new PC, but when i create a project i get an error saying:"The code is successfully generated under........ but MDK-ARM V5.27 project generation have a problem" I have tried multiple different locations to see if it was that causing the problem , but no change. I installed CUBEMX 5.5 and 5.4 and they both show this problem however if i used V5.3 the project generates successfully. i can obviously just work from V5.3 but this would mean i cant open any recent projectsAny help would be appreciated -i'm out of ideas what to try

Is It possible to separate the STM32MP157A-EV1 MPU Subsystem Daughterboard (MB1263) from the motherboard (MB1262) to integrate it into a Motherboard of our design? Are there any limitations for its use when not paired with MB1262?Thank you!

Hello,I have a NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q board that I am trying to configure as a FS USB device setup as a Virtual Port Com. The only changes I have made to the stock CubeMx setup is removing ETH and setting up two encoder inputs on TIM2 and 5. I've tried disabling vbus sensing. I've also tried with and without the USB PWR EN jumper (which there is basically no documentation on). I'm assuming that I should not have the jumper enabled since I have the USB configured as device only. I've tried to read through as many docs and forums as I could seeing if someone else has a similar issue, but not finding anything else. I've seen other posts like this one that suggest adding HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector(), but I already have that (seems it's been fixed in CubeMx). There was this post about the BCD being enabled, but seems like some info is missing. I am powering the board over the stlink USB connection. For the moment, I have jumpers JP6, JP7, and JP8 removed (from what comes stock). JP6 and JP

Hi,We bought ST25RU3993-EVAL from your company. This evaulation board worked. I installed ST25RU3993 RS. I set Reader Settings, choosed Antenna. I did everything you told in video. You mentioned in your demo video that you can read up to 11 meters. But i can read up to 50 centimeters. You used A0025 in your video. Is this about or is there something i missed?

Dear all ,My project is to read ST25TA64K(NFC Forum Type 4 Tag,ISO/IEC 14443 Type A) Tag with NFC03A1 Reader and hosting MCU is STM32L452.I am able to detect the Tag by Idle command. An wakeup event is getting occured after sending a Idle command.I am able to get a UID by executing the anticollision procedure which is mentioned in the examples of CR95HF datasheet. But i am unable to get any Response to RATS command.Should i must send the RATS command to read the Tag.I am not getting response to Selection command of CC file. My task is to write some info into NDEF file and read it back.I am not using any firmware from st.com(https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-nfc3.html).I am wrting my own firmware to read the tag. Is i am going in a wrong way? Please give me the suggestions. Thanks in Advance.Regards,Praveen.

In X-CUBE-NFC6 demo, the NFCID of NFC-A CE mode is set to:static uint8_t ceNFCA_NFCID[] = {0x02, 0x11, 0x22, 0x33, 0x44, 0x55, 0x66};I wonder if this is randomly generated or there some rule to set it. For example, if I need set uid0 (first byte) to some manufacture ID ?Best regards.

Hi all,I have a few questions regard the topic above. Is it an NFCA ISO standard that the PICCs will use BPSK (instead of OOK) to transmit data to the PCD for rates higher than 106? Does the ST25R3916 chipset and/or DISCO board supports speeds up to 848 officially for NFCA?Is this a the correct way to make a bitrate change? I am setting up the speed change is through the 14443A tab. After a successful RATS, I issue a PPS to the PICC to request it switch the DRI/DSI (the GUI implementation has a bug, it swaps the values when calling into the firmware) and then go to the Debug tab/ModeandSpeed and select NFCA and change the TX/RX speed reader bitrates locally. I also looked into the ST25R3916 datasheet to see about demodulating BPSK incoming RX (>106). Can I assume when I set the RX speed higher than 106 the GUI will send appropriate commands to switch the demodulation type from OOK to BPSK?Are there any analog front end settings that we can tweak via the GUI to try to make comms

Hello, I am working with STM32H7. I need to configure the CAN FD to work as Classic CAN 2.0. I have found an example that configures the CAN FD as Classic CAN 2.0, but in the example the system clock is different from my system clock. I need to find the method to configure the STM32H7 CAN FD as CAN 2.0. Please help me cause I am not able to find this method anywhere. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Vouria

I made a PCB with ST25R3916. And now is coding for it. The only example I can find is X-CUBE-NFC6. Because my usage of ST25R3916 has some differences with the NFC061A. For example, I don't need AAT and only use a fixed external attena (is it possible, right?) So, my analog configuration shouldn't be the same with NFC061A, right? I think I should do some changes with 'analogConifgTbl_NFC061A.c'. So, are there any docs about the usage of the RFAL analog config macros?Update:In AN5309, it states:In the RFAL, these settings are referred to as analog configs/settings and the library applies them as needed. These settings are conveniently grouped in a table that can be easily customized and generated using available tools. Are there some tools to help?Best regards.

I loaded the MB11414-A_v1.xml into ST25R3916 Discovery GUI. And find there is a register '0x68', but in ST25R3916's datasheet, I can't find 0x68, only 0x28. Where 0x68 comes from.If it's a typo, that is 0x68 is actually 0x28, write 0x00 to mask 0x20 should disable the external load modulation, right? But the comment is 'Disable Internal Modulation', why ?Similar to above, write 0x10 to mask 0x10 should enable the internal load modulation, right? But the comment is 'use external load modulation'.In analogConfigTbl_NFC061A1.c, same problem exist thereBest regards.

i am planning to use HSE on STM32G071GB (UFQFPN28 - 28 pin package)datasheet STM32G071 on page 41 does really make it clear if HSE pins are available in small package (28pin)datasheet states:PC14: OSC32_IN, OSC_INPC15: OSC32_OUTis OSC_OUT missing in datasheet. is there a typo?

During testing I frequently make changes to the source and re-compile it using "STM32CubeIde". Now, when trying to add/remove a variable from the watchlist ("variables" node in STM32CubeMon), I get the following message and my previous selection is gone."The variable list has been updated because the executable file *** has changed."So even the list of available variables has not changed (and I think even their address is still the same), I have to redo the selection. So is there a way to tell STM32CubeMon to update the symbol table and thereby keep the old selection?Kind regards,Thomas

In 'X-CUBE-NFC6', I found the prefix code of NFCID2 in SENSF_RES is '0x02, 0xFE'. But the ISO 18092 says:The 6-byte number shall be randomly generated while the prefix code is ‘01’ ‘FE’. Other settings for the prefix code are RFU.So, what's the meaning of '0x02, 0xFE' here?

Posted on October 11, 2017 at 15:09In summer 2017, I started an project with the STM32F767 on the Nucleo board, because the H743 was still announced but not available. For some weeks I got the new Nucleo board of the STM32H743. After I transferred the code from the F767 to the H743, I recognized the not working DMA interrupt. The DMA interrupt was working on the 767 perfectly. So I reduced the code of the F767 and the H743 (by using cube) to only this function for see whats the difference. TIM3 managed 4 PWM Signals (22KHz) and triggers the ADC1 on falling edge and call the interrupt call back function. (LED GREEN toggles). When ADC1 conversion is finished, the DMA is triggered and copies the data. When the DMA transfer is completed, the call back function is called, and the BLUE LED togglesI cant see, why the interrupt for the DMA at the STM32H743 is not working! Have somebody done something like this already and was successful?I put both projects for Cube and the AC6 workbench to th

Hello, I’m working on device equipped with STM32H753 and LCD (320x240), 16 MiB of SDRAM (available for caching will be about 13 MiB) and SD card (SDMMC interface) that will be used also for storing images for TouchGFX.In some cases device shall display a few animations. Initially we’ve thought that animation will be stored as sequence of .PNGs and use of AnimatedImage widget. Amount of images depends in given animation, but let say that will be a at least one thousand of PNGs. After loading almost all PNGs and “indexing? by TouchGFX Designer it slowed down to unusable state. Source files (.cpp) generated for images had size about 2.5 GB. We wanted that TouchGFX will be aware of each .PNG to generate IDs and use each for caching (we think that not all images will fit into SDRAM to accomplish full caching). The second reason for doing in that way was a unified procedure to extract binary with bitmaps and use it for external loader (TGX uses specific linker section for all images). After
