I have custom NFC reader board with ST25R3916. The antenna has been geber copied from X-Nucleo-NFC06A1 board and the matching circuit is modified from X-Nucleo board. The varicap values have been merged with fixed capacitors. The MCU is STM32L476 and the FW is slightly modified from en.X-CUBE-NFC6. I have commented out (hopefully) all AAT and antenna tuning related lines on analogConfigTbl_NFC6A1.cWhen I measure the X-Nucleo board, TX signal is on about 70ms. On the custom board the on time is 1.2sWhat could cause the longer TX on time on the custom board?Best Regards,Stinde

Hi,I'm trying to read step counts. I'm executing all pedometer related functions, but I get no any output.Sincerely,TalhaAnd While Loop

Hello,As title said, I am working on SPC58EC-DISP. I have tested the example code SPC58xx_RLA_CAN Test Application for Discovery and it works for External Loopback mode. Now I want to transmit and receive CAN data with another physical CAN device using No_Loopback mode for CAN1, but I'm yet to succeed in seeing any data with external device. I have 2 external USB-CAN adapters that see each other data at matching baudrate. But none of them can see data from SPC58EC-DISP. Some of the things I have in my set-up:I have 120 ohm resistor in the CAN wires. I left the PIN setting from the example untouched which are using pin 119 (PIN_RX_1_0) and 118 (PIN_TX_1_0)I tried to connect my USB-CAN adapter to the DB9 CAN1 connector on the SPC58EC-DISP as well as the CAN_1_H & CAN_1_L pin TX Mode is DEDICATED, and TX Buffers is 32. I give the loop 100ms delay between TransmittingI can confirm that the CAN1 port send messages up to the 32 message buffer before it goes into CAN_MSG_WAIT state. My th

I am using STM32CubeIDE in Ubuntu20.04.If you create the STM32MP1 project in STM32CubeIDE for Ubuntu, it asks if you want to install the OpenSTLinux SDK. And I have installed it and am using it.However, in STM32CubeIDE for Windows, if you ask if you want to install the OpenSTLinux SDK, it indicates that the installation can only be installed on Linux, and installation is not possible. If you look at the attached picture, you can see the OpenSTLinux SDK Manager menu in STM32CubeIDE for Ubuntu, but there is no that menu in STM32CubeIDE for Windows.I want to develop STM32MP1 Firmware in STM32CubeIDE for Windows because it is inconvenient and slow to use the virtual machine, but I wonder if there is any problem even if I do not install the OpenSTLinux SDK and develop the firmware.

Dear STM community,I am trying to deploy a simple tflite model on my STM32, but I can't get through the analyze step. I got the following error:TOOL ERROR: Unknown layer type SHAPE, stopping. If I convert the model to Keras (model and topology), it works fine, I can run the generated code, but I want to use tflite model.I attached the keras and the tflite files. Thanks,Titusz

I have ordered P-Nucleo-IHM001 via Digikey. When trying the default FW, both FOC and 6-steps, the motor is not rotating.I connected the motor to a drill and rotate it, all three wires will produce around 1V peak to peak. Here is the video when testing.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GXGae1relgAny idea which one is faulty? Motor, driver board, etc?

Posted on April 17, 2018 at 18:46I'm using FatFs on SDMMC1 configured by CubeMX (v.4.23) on a STM32F722. Everything runs perfectly fine. But when I activate DMA by enabling DMA template in FatFscreating DMA channel for SDMMC1 RX and TXenabling the DMA and SDMMC1 interruptsI can see that the code in sd_diskio.c has changed, and two IRs have been generated. But the mounting and/or reading of the SD card fails. This worked with v.4.22 (even without creating DMA channels), but now doesn't.What is missing here?#fatfs #dma

Hello all, I worked with the Nucleo-F429ZI (which includes the STM32F429ZI) at the project start. I updated my software via UART and do following steps:I connect the Nucleo-F429ZI via USB to the PC (it's the power supply too)I connect a MM232R to pin PA9 and PA10 (UART1) and GND.I connect the BOOT0 pin to 3V3I press the reset button B2I start the tool "STM32CubeProgrammer"I choose UART and my MM232R, set the baudrate to 115200 and the parity to evenI connect the MM232R load the new software and disconnect the MM232RI remove the connection of BOOT0 and 3V3I press the reset button B2The new software works! Then I designed my own PCB with the STM32F429ZI. My software works on it and I can update it with the STM32CubeIDE and the SWD connection (PA13 and PA14). Now I want to update the software via UART and the bootloader:I have two leds which blink during my hole software. If I connect BOOT0 to 3V3 and reset the mikrocontroller the leds don't blink any more. So I think the mikrocontroller i

Hi all,I'm using STLink V2 (Not STLink V2 ISOL) to program and debug a STM32F103C8 microcontroller(Development board is a low cost STM32 bluepill). Programming and debugging via SWD works like a charm, without any issue. But I was never able to get the JTAG working. I made all the pin connections according to page 12 of UM1075. The way I tried is given below.Connected all the relevant JTAG pins according to UM1075 documentation.Reserved all JTAG pins from CubeMX in Cube IDEInside "stm32f1xx_hal_msp.c" file, it was checked and verified if "__HAL_AFIO_REMAP_SWJ_ENABLE()" line is there in HAL_MspInit() function. From Project > Debug configurations,Debug Probe - ST-LINK(ST-LINK GDB Server)Interface - JTAGReset Behavior - Connect Under resetAnd that's all. When I try to debug I get the message "Failed to Start GDB server" along with"Error in initializing ST-LINK device." and "Reason: No device found on target." messages on console. But when I select SWD as debug interface, it works fine.An

I know you can with the 32 bit nucleo boards but is it possible with the STM8L152R8T6 Nucleo-64 board? My feeling is no because the SWIM protocol requires VDD, SWIO,GND and RESET pins which i cant see anywhere in the ST-link section of the STM8L152R8T6 Nucleo-64 boards schematic. Hopefully someone can tell me I'm wrong though. Thanks

Dear all: I want to use STM32CubeMx or STM32CubeIDE to generate official demo of the this board, but not find that at STM32CubeMX->New Project->Example Selector->Board. Thank you!

We have PCB assemblies built that contain STM324L7 with 1M and 2M flash memory. How can we determine the flash memory size using a JTAG connection (e.g. by reading a register value)?

I'd like to check if any pull requests break the build by automatically running headlessbuild as part of CI.Unfortunately, there's a critical flaw with how STM32CubeIDE projects are setup, which makes this impossible. The headless build depends on content in .metadata. This folder is automatically created when importing a project into STM32CubeIDE. But .metadata is also automatically added to .gitignore. It's definitely correct to ignore .metadata, since that contains a lot of user-specific content that you don't want to share among developers. But this now means that headless builds from a fresh clone don't work either. You can try this out yourself by cloning this repo and branch. Note that this project is setup for Linux, but I'm sure you can reproduce the same issue on Windows too from a new project. You'll just need to call the headless build command directly, instead of using the ci.sh script.git clone --branch issue-report https://github.com/milesfrain/stm32demo.gitAnd running:./c

I noticed that even if I create a new project using STM32CubeMX IDE for STM32MP157F-EV1 board, in the clock configuration, the MPUSS_CK is 650MHz. In Linux, I can see the CPU frequency is 650MHz only. How can I clock the CPU to 800MHz as supported by the SoC?
