Hi ,I want to setup my STM32F769 Discovery board as USB Host. I use STM32CubeMX :Middleware-> USB_HOST-> Class For HS IP: Mass Storage Class. But when I generate the code, it gave me pop up warning as following. What does this warning mean? And how should I resolve it?

Hi guys, having an issue getting the DFU mode working again. Learning from my last mistake where I didnt connect the USBV33V last time, however this time I did.The computer is detecting the MCU, but I guess the MCU for whatever reason does not want to say its descriptor, any reason why?MCU: stm32h753zit6SCHEMATIC:

Im trying to follow this tutorial but inside platform settings of FATFS i get this:No found solution for BSP api (SDIO detection pin?) And when i press generate code i get this warning complaining about the very same thing

Hello,I recently got a nucleo-h755zl-q and on the back of the info card that came with says "The demo software and several software examples that allow you to use the stm32 Nucleo features are available at st.com/en/product/nucleo-h755zi-q" however I looked there and was not able to find any sample code at all. I realize this is kind of a foolish question, but does anyone know where I can find a copy of that code, or some other sample code for this board? Thanks

Wondering why I'm getting a hard fault when writing to the FLASH option key register on an STM32G071RBT6 (Nucleo board).I first make this call, (running from flash):LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_FLASH);Then, running from RAM, do the following: if (READ_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nBOOT_SEL) != 0) { // Unlock flash option bytes WRITE_REG(FLASH->OPTKEYR, FLASH_OPTKEY1); WRITE_REG(FLASH->OPTKEYR, FLASH_OPTKEY2);The READ_BIT operation works fine, but I get a fault writing the OPTKEYR register. The key values are defined as follows:#define FLASH_OPTKEY1 0x08192A3B#define FLASH_OPTKEY2 0x4C5D6E7FThe register address is resolving to 0x4002200C, which I believe is correct.Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hello there,I am developing a FreeRTOS based application using STM32L452 MCU. I am looking for a way, to reduce the power consumption in the idle intervals of the processors work. When reviewing the sleep modes, it occured to me that the MCU might be unresponsive to external events or even lose context (MCU reset), which is not fit in this RTOS running application.I thought then that I could simply reduce the HCLK frequency by playing with the PLL registers. The problem here is that the systick timer will get altered, and I really need it to stay with its regular timebase (1 ms). I checked either it is possible to clock the Systick timer from other sources, but it seems like its only HCLK and HCLK / 8. The datasheet says it is calibrated for this value.I would appreciate some suggestions on this topic.Lukasz.

When starting connectable undirected advertising mode by calling "aci_gap_set_discoverable(...)" it turns out that the advertiser sends AD with "Flags" type (0x01) and "TX power level" type (0x0A). As a restriction of the application, I need to remove the "TX power level" AD. From CSS v9 Table 1.1, this data type is optional. So, I've tried to delete this AD type calling "aci_gap_delete_ad_type(0x0A)" after "aci_gap_set_discoverable(...)".The problem is that sometimes, although the function to start advertising ends with success code, the function to delete AD type returns the error = BLE_STATUS_NOT_ALLOWED (0x46), and that prevents the BLE controller to start the advertising mode.Is there a way to start advertising only with AD type "Flags", without calling "aci_gap_delete_ad_type(0x0A)"?Currently I'm using STM32WB v1.11.1 package, but I already tried with v1.9.0 too.

Hi,I am using the MX Cube example in STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.12.0\Projects\32L0538DISCOVERY\Examples\UART\LPUART_WakeUpFromStop.I have modified it to use the STM32L0538NUCLEO BSP and to use USART2.I had to add a HAL_SuspendTick in order to get into STOP mode. All of that is working and I can get into stop mode. I am then trying to use a terminal to wake up the unit which never works. Is there something else that has to be done to wake up the MCU via UART in stop mode??I have added my code

Hello,I am using STM32F100RBTx device present on STM32VLDISCOVERY board.I am using TIM1 with the configuration listed below. Please note that this is a partial config, other channel and clock related settings are irrelavant to interrupt so I havent posted.cr1.ckd = 0; cr1.arpe = 1;cr1.cms = 2;cr1.urs = 1;dier.uie = true;Interrupt vector : TIM1_UP_TIM16With this I am able to generate centre aligned PWM waveforms with proper duty and frequency, but the interrupt is triggered twice in each cycle, one when the CNT is 0 and one when CNT = ARR. I want the interrupt to be triggered only once, when CNT = 0. Is it possible to do that ? With cr1.cms = 2 and TIM1_CC interrupt, the interrupt will trigger only once in a cycle, but that time I cannot update CCR. My limitation is I can only udpate CCR when CNT is 0, and I cannot afford interrupt firing again at CNT = ARR (CNT = ARR is irrelavant as nothing is done at this event), due to performance degradation. Please help. Thanks

I have a STM32H757I eval board and I'm using STM32CubeIDE (last version), HAL v.1.8.0I've setup an empty project using the IDE.The problem is that the program for the CM7 core runs normally but as soon as i try to start the CM4 program everything "crash".I have followed all the procedures reported in ST documents on how to setup the debug session. Can anybody tell me where is the problem? Why i get a SIGTRAP even before the program on CM4 starts ?I can provide further details. In attachment a screenshot of the debug session

Ahoy ST,1) I read a press release ( https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/about/media-center/press-item.html/n3798.html ) that says there are Apple HomeKit solutions available, but I cannot find them. Where are they?2) NXP and Microchip advertise Apple HomeKit SDK's ( https://www.nxp.com/support/developer-resources/run-time-software/nxp-software-development-kit-sdk-for-homekit-accessories:HOMEKIT-SDK , https://www.microchip.com/promo/homekit ), will ST be releasing one as well? Perhaps the answer to question 1 is the answer here as well. Anchors away,CL

Does stm32wb support homekit?

I read the datasheet, a = device generation a, but I don't know what the difference is. Can you explain it in detail?

HiWhat is the difference between the Click, Touch, Toggle buttons?Andrzej

Hi,I was wondering if we can use the ST25R3916 or 3917 with two antenna. We connect one on the output/input of the RFO1/RFI1 and the other on the RF02/RFI2. Is that something possible ? I can't seem to find my answer in the datasheet. Also, I want to know what is the major difference between 3916 and 3917, as they have the same datasheet. Thanks !

What is the maximum power that i can use? Which pin can i use to feed the board with external power? What is the max power that is transmitted to the RF circuit of the board? Which are the limitations in power?

I have concern on the usage of malloc() in the generated USB Host MSC library. In file usbh_msc.c, take a look at the usage of USBH_malloc)_:static USBH_StatusTypeDef USBH_MSC_InterfaceInit(USBH_HandleTypeDef *phost) { ............. MSC_HandleTypeDef *MSC_Handle; ......... phost->pActiveClass->pData = (MSC_HandleTypeDef *)USBH_malloc(sizeof(MSC_HandleTypeDef)); MSC_Handle = (MSC_HandleTypeDef *) phost->pActiveClass->pData;   if (MSC_Handle == NULL) { USBH_DbgLog("Cannot allocate memory for MSC Handle"); return USBH_FAIL; } }where it is defined as following on usbh_conf.h:/** Alias for memory allocation. */ #define USBH_malloc mallocMy questions:Why it uses dynamic location malloc()? To my understanding for real time application this is risky. Why currently the malloc() return NULL memory allocation? I have defined my heap size 0x2000 in the CubeMX project config which should suffice to serve the requsted 256 byte (i.e. sizeof(MSC_HandleTypeDef)).Why in the code

I'm working with STM32F479ZG and ZI both have working ethernet. In the lastest CubeMX 5.1.0 it shows that those MCUs are not supporting ethernet. Is there a work around for this issue?

Also, while the MB1137 version allows the embedded STM32 chip to be programmed through the STM32 STLink-Utility software, it appears that the MB1364 version requires an additional hardware device known as the STLink-V3E. Can anyone verify? If not, what software will be required for the programming of the embedded STM32 chip on the MB1364 version? Much help will be appreciated, thank you!

Hi,I currently have a STM32L4R9VI (that contains the DFSDM + DMA) and I am planning to sample an IF signal ( up to 10 MHz frequency) using an external Sigma Delta Modulator AMC1305M05 (20Msps - 20 MHz frequency - 16 bits resolution). I am not an expert in DFSDM so I would like to know if and how it's possible to get 1 sample per clock edge (16 bits) in a single line. Thanks in advance,

Hello,I have a problem with the bluenrg-2. I'm using a STEVAL-IDB008V2.I measured the current while in different sleep state and here are the results :CPU-HALT : 1.6 mAWAKETIMER : 1.9 mANOTIMER : some nA.The problem is that I'm supposed to have some µA in WAKETIMER but I have more than in CPU-HALT.I found that I'm around 1.6 mA when I'm in the BlueNRG_Sleep() function until the 4 last lines of the function CS_contextSave().I tried with the simpliest code possible but I still have the problem.Any idea ?

Hi, I did some power measurements with a Joulescope which measures the full power given to the card (no distinction between VDD, VDDCORE, etc.) - we chose this way for first measurements without card's resistors modification.I mostly followed the same steps as explained in the AN5284 application note. For point 3.1 with CoreMark, I've same iterations per seconds and a much higher power measurement which is normal as I measure the full system. But the difference between 1 or 2 core is the same as in the document. For point 3.3 with data acquisition : Here again, I have higher power measurement but it's still consistent as the ratio of power reduction is the same than in theorie. Then I was interested in point 4.3 (various low power modes) but I did get results I don't understand. Know that I changed the /etc/systemd/sleep.conf as explained here and used the systemctl suspend commend for MPU.When the card is idle (just powered on, but no program running) : 3060 mW When the card do a fo

I need an NFC module that reads data from NTAG216 cards and also supports Android and IOS phones that send NDEF message from the phone to the NFC module. STM has many variants and models for NFC . I am totally confused and dont know where to start. Can someone help me find a good NFC module as per my requirement. Thanks in advance

When the installation comes to the 7th step, it does not do anything, it wants me to exit the installation. When I looked at the directory where the program should be installed, there is no exe file.
