Hi all!I'm trying to configure SDIO in several modes:1 bit1 bit + DMA4 bit4 bit + DMAOnly 1 bit is working for now. When I enable DMA in 1 bit it double writes things into my files. 4 bit mode on the other hand mostly gives me error " FR_DISK_ERR" after closing file (after creating it) or just doesn't do anything. I tried A LOT of CubeMX configurations, and editing bsp_driver_sd.c and sd_disko.c files, but nothing seems to help.I'm using:STM32F407VGCubeMX 6.2.1Atollic Truestudio 9.3MicroSDHC 8GB goodram card (formated as FAT32)I won't be showing you my code for using fatfs because I'm sure that it works, and I have it in several functions - so thats just unnecessary (but if you would like to see it, i can post it, no problem). Okay, so first my config for WORKING 1 bit mode: SDIO global interrupt - disabledno DMAno pull up'sDMA template - disabled Minimumm Heap Size 0x200Minimum Stack Size 0x400Now, 1 bit + DMA mode, that's not working well. It reads fine, creates files, but

Hi Team,Am presently looking for GPS + IMU (sensor fusion) module in STM, what is the best GPS + IMU module and why ? Is sensor fusion algorithm is used in IMU module, if not which algorithm is used in that module, please suggest me best Dead reckoning module ASAP and provide me with required documents.Thanks&regards,N,Suraj.

Hi There,I am working with a MCU STM32F405VET for any particular purpose. Lets a at this time firmware code has burn on MCU. Lets talk about HW issue.Take a look the datasheet here https://www.qdatasheet.com/datasheet-download/190671/1/ST-Microelectronics/STM32F405VET6In my design portion a 25MHz oscillator supports MCU for clocking. See the attached file.In this time a watched dog ic STWD100NXWY3F working externally,https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stwd100.pdf What it does is watchdog timer is as a system monitor to detect and reset an "out of control" microprocessor. When program execution goes awry it will not properly execute the code that restarts the watchdog. In such a case the watchdog timer will timeout and cause a microcontroller reset. In a properly designed system, the reset will correct the error. Is the case of independent watched dog from main MCU timer.I want to connect a toggle swish in 2 and 3 point of crystal oscillator XT1 and wish to see the

Hello,Someone have a document that give explications/informations on how modify the link file ?I must optimize ma code performance and I would realocate the stack/heap, the time critical functions, into the TCM area.I know the way to locate variables into specific area ("attribute" put after variable declaration). But I don't find the way to do that for all the content of one source file (to put functions into specific code section and and variables into specific data section)Thanks a lot for your time

I'm currently playing around with the QSPI_ReadWrite_DMA example on an STM32F769I_EVAL board.Link to example:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeF7/tree/master/Projects/STM32F769I_EVAL/Examples/QSPI/QSPI_ReadWrite_DMA.I'm testing the QSPI Reads and it generally seems to be working most of the time but is consistently hanging when I try to read values of 0x10000 or higher.I don't a read command limitation on the SPI Flash chip that comes with the STM32F769I_EVAL so I 'm wondering if anyone has any idea what could be the issue? Seems like a very particular boundary to stop working at. Not sure if it's an STM32 related limit? Thanks!

Hi All,I cannot figure out why the series of instructions below is not working for me (device is a STM32F303x6).This is just me fiddling around getting to know the CPU, I have this setting so the FP opcodes are accepted by the compiler, and it seems to be compiling what I do just fine..fpu fpv4-sp-d16I have enabled the Floating Point Co-Processor as specified in the Cortex-M4 programmers manual (PM0214): Set bits 20-23 in CPACR.But still the code below does nothing with the 's' registers.movw          r4, #4096      // Put a test value into r4vmov          s15, r4        // Copy r4 value into s15 Flt register for conversion to floatvcvt.f32.u32  s15, s15, #32  // Convert s15 'U32 value 4096' to f32 (result should be s15 = 0x45800000)When I look at the s15 register values (in STM32CubeIDE) when debug

So I setup a scroll list containing 6 items from particular template.But the generated code show the number of items is 8. Although when run, the simulator show 6 templates. This cause some logic error when need to do decision based on items count.touchgfx::DrawableListItems<StatisticsItem, 8> ListListItems;On snippet above, it shows 8 count, while I setup 6. Is this a bug?

Is there a shortcut or is it possible to configure one for transform text to uppercase/lowercase?

I have a can bus operating between a PC and a Motor, where the PC can control the motor. Eventually I want the STM32 to control the motor. For now all I want to do is read what is on the bus. Looking at thedata with a CAN bus sniffer it looks like there are two messages going back and forth. About every millisecond the PC sends a command to the motor and the motor responds almost immediately. The bus sniffer says the two addresses are 0x05A0 and 0x0620. I set up a 16-bit List filter with 05A0, 0620, 0000, 0000. At this point I am only looking to see if the FIFO is not empty. It is always empty. The CAN_ERR register changes. it is either 0xFF000023 or 0xFF000013 which tells me that the LEC (Last error code) is either 001 Stuff error, or 010 Form Error. I have searched the entire 1347 page RM0390 Reference Manual and the only place Stuff error or Form error is mentioned is in the Error Status Register. Where is Stuff error or Form error defined? If I do not know what it is how do I fix i

Hi,I found a possible bug in the "stm32wbxx_hal_msp.c" file when using Cube in the STM32CubeIDE to enable the SAI peripheral.I did not test all the combinations, but have mine set up as follows:SAI A - Async SlaveSAI B - Sync Slave The bug is that the the code does not include and set the "Alternate" member of the GPOI_InitStruct for SAI Block A and BThe generated code is:/**SAI1_A_Block_A GPIO Configuration PA8 ------> SAI1_SCK_A PA9 ------> SAI1_FS_A PA10 ------> SAI1_SD_A */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_8|GPIO_PIN_9|GPIO_PIN_10; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLUP; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_MEDIUM; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct);and/**SAI1_B_Block_B GPIO Configuration PA5 ------> SAI1_SD_B */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_5; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLUP; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_MEDIUM; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct);But it sho

Hi.I am a beginner in STM32 development. I created a custom timer for STM32F103C8 blue pill in the While Loop which will execute a function to send AT Command to GSM modem as described below. In terms of cpu usage, is it better to create a custom timer or use ready made timers in the MCU? Thank you in advance.uint32_t counter = 0; while (1) { if (counter == 8000000){ HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t *)"AT\r",sizeof("AT\r"), 50); counter = 0; } counter++; }

I'm using Nucleo-F767 with IAR IDE. I have created project using STM32CubeMx v6.3.0.I want to send one byte over MOSI and receive 27 bytes of data from SPI slave device on MISO. I noticed that random data is seen on MOSI line from 2nd byte. How to make MOSI data as 0x00 for 27 bytes i.e., during SPI Read operation. Scope capture attached. Code:  HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi3, spiTxBuf, 1, 50);  HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi3, spiRxBuf3, 27, 50);Note: MOSI data is required to make 0x00 in order to make slave device functionality working fine as expected.

the following line 56000000 is wrong.#define PRESCALER_VALUE   (uint32_t)((SystemCoreClock / 56000000) - 1)it should be 5600000 Right ?SystemCoreclock is 16MHZ. but divided by 56MHZ ?

I want to make SWD debugger programmer for STM32 MCUs how can I make this is there any examples or sample code?

When configuring ADC3 for VREF and/or TEMP acquisition then the necessary call to LL_ADC_SetCommonPathInternalCh(ADC3_COMMON, LL_ADC_PATH_INTERNAL_TEMPSENSOR | LL_ADC_PATH_INTERNAL_VREFINT);is not made. This is necessary for those channels to function correctly.Workaround:Call the internal path configuration function manually, followed by the proper delay before starting the ADC.Affected (also all older version AFAIK):STMCubeMX: 6.3.0STMCubeIDE: 1.7.0Both using STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.9.0Occured with: STM32H730VBH (TFBGA100 Package)
