Hi,Developing AES GCM on a customer board that is used STM32H750VBT6 with CubeMX 6.1.1 has a problem needs help.Tested example code CRYP_AES_GCM from STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.8.0 Projects/STM32H735G-DK/Examples/CRYP is failed. And used JLINK debug figure out all registers of crypt are all zero. and test code run to DES cipher.Has any suggestion?Thanks

I would like to start setting area protection passwords on some of these chips. I have a FEIG RFID reader which I can do this through using the ST25PC-NFC Windows Application, but the reader won't fit into the space I need to reach the chip during normal functionality (signal isn't strong enough), and the Windows App doesn't have a command line interface I could find, so running this whole process from a single automated application doesn't seem feasible. I have an NFC devkit I could hack the firmware on and build an extended antennae to accomplish this, though it would be extremely time consuming to read the firmware and understand it well enough to step into the middle of its normal functionality and insert my own password write command, since that's a custom command on the ST25DV chipset. Just wondering if anybody has any other recommendations they've run across to accomplish this password programming? Is there a command line interface into the Windows App that I missed? Thank you!

I am following the documentation in application note AN4861 (LTDC) and the data sheet for the STM32L4R5ZI MCU (DS12023 Rev 5). According to AN4861I should be able to configure the LTDC with STM32CubeMX but I am not seeing the LTDC peripheral on the list. According to the MCU data sheet there is an LCD TFT Controller built into this MCU. Anything I am missing?

I've a stm32f730r8t6 core board, I need to use stm32 as USB HS device, looks like STM32CubeMX generate the code have bugs.If using USB_FS is working fine but USB_HS is not.I've traced the code failed at USB_CoreReset.static HAL_StatusTypeDef USB_CoreReset(USB_OTG_GlobalTypeDef *USBx) { uint32_t count = 0U;   /* Wait for AHB master IDLE state. */ do { if (++count > 200000U) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } } while ((USBx->GRSTCTL & USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_AHBIDL) == 0U);   /* Core Soft Reset */ count = 0U; USBx->GRSTCTL |= USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST;   do { if (++count > 200000U) { //failed at here. return HAL_TIMEOUT; } } while ((USBx->GRSTCTL & USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST) == USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST);   return HAL_OK; }This is design for the core board.

Hello dear ST-Community,here is a brief explaination of my problem:I'm using multiple stepper-motors in my system.I want to use 3 timers per stepper.Timer generates the PWM signal for the stepper-driver (easy to achive)Timer captures the signal of the 1. Timer. It has a low arr and increases the stepper-speed (aka decreases 1. Timer arr and ccr) after every overflow to achive ramps when accelerating/decelerating. (also no Problem)Timer also captures the signal of the 1. Timer and is supposed to keep track of the position of the stepper. This mens the CNT value of the 3. Timer always corresponds to the Position of the motor.My Problem is, that I need to change the conting direction of the 3. Timer according to the rotational direction of the motor. I change direction of the motor in software, so all I thougt I needed to do was to change the count-direction of the 3. Timer simultaniously.Is this possible? I coundn't find a __HAL-Macro for chainging the timers counting direction at runtim

Hi,I don't really understand the datasheet of the ST25R3916 IC chip.At page 53, they show an exemple of a direct write command. As I understand, we need to send 1-1-C5-C4-C3-C2-C1-C0. When I check table 13 to see the command code that go for bits C5..C0, the hexa is something like C1 = 11000001. There is 8 bits on the command code and on page 53 they only send 6 bits. I am confused...Same thing to read a register for example. We need to send 0-1- the register address. There is no register that are 6 bits long, so how can I write my SPI package?Sorry if it is not clear, english is not my first language and I am still learning SPI communication, so it may seems easy, but I still don't get it :(Thanks for any clarification.Antoine

Hi,According to the datasheet, the differential impedance between TX1 and TX2 is 27Ohm for 3.3V and 16Ohm for 5V. For the version without EMI filter the matching criteria should: input impedance of the maching circuit is eqault to ST25R95 differential impedance. But in the spreasheet "ST25R95 EMI FILTER CALCULATION" the default value of the RIN cell the is 50Ohm.What impedance should I tune the antenna to? If I use the VNA to measure the matching circuit with the antenna should I get 27Ohm or 50Ohm?

Is caching using DMA while the bitmap is caching in Touchgfx?

Hey!I'm trying sending message over UART with DMA with following code and CubeMX configuration (attached pictures)char welcome[] = "hi!\r\n"; HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart2, (uint8_t*) welcome, strlen(welcome));Nothing else is changed. MCU doesn't send anything. The "HAL_UART_Transmit_IT" & "HAL_UART_Transmit" functions work.I'm using NUCLEO-L010, tried exact same configuration with another NUCLEO-F303 board and "HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA" works as expected.Code doesn't stuck or give any error messages during debug. What did I miss?

Hi,I have SPV1050 and want to use it with a solar cell. The parameters of the solar cell are listed below.Voc = 6.91 V (Open circuit voltage)Isc = 58.60 mA (Short circuit current)Pout = 307.30 mW ( Maximum deliverable power)Vload = 5.58 V (Output voltage at load condition)Iload = 55.10 mA (Current output at load condition)Please help me configure the peripherals of SPV1050 like the connection diagram which includes the resister and inductor and capacitor values which should be connected at which pins. I have an evaluation board of it too. I have gone through the manual but couldn't find it helpful enough.

Hi, I am trying to build a Simulink model by using the STM32 Embedded Target. By following the instructions provided in the manual, I added the path in Matlab, and, in Simulink, I went to " Configuration Parameters --> Code Generation " and selected the "System target file" stm32.tlc from the list. However, I get several warnings/errors. 1 ) Warning: An error occurred while evaluating "loc_register_device" in"C:\MATLAB\STM32-MAT\STM32\script\sl_customization.p": Support for the RTW.HWDeviceRegistry class has been removed.2) Warning: Error executing the PostApplyCallback of the target "stm32.tlc": Path not found ===> STM32CubeMx not installed or modify "STM32CubeMx installation path" field.The sl_customization.p is a non-readable file. I have installed the STM32CubeMx and also already tried and it works. Any ideas on how to solve these issues?Best

I downloaded the software from https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32-mat-target.html, but I do not see the blocks in Simulink.

Hi,I created a touch screen initialization function. The touch screen works just fine if a I poll the TS_State.TouchDetected flag. If I enable the touch interrupt from the initialization function I get a compiler error message:uint32_t InitializeTouchScreen(void) { TS_Init_t hTS; uint32_t ts_status;   hTS.Width = LCD_GetXSize(); //800; hTS.Height = LCD_GetYSize(); //480; hTS.Orientation = TS_SWAP_XY | TS_SWAP_Y; hTS.Accuracy = 0; ts_status = BSP_TS_Init(0, &hTS); // Enable touch IT BSP_TS_EnableIT(0); return ts_status; }The error message:... stm32h747i_discovery_ts.c:252: undefined reference to `HAL_EXTI_GetHandle'...The "stm32Cube-bsp-drivers.pdf" manual does not help. It just lists the interrupt enable function but there is no explanation how to use it.I also wonder how I can detect the touch interrupt (once it compiles). It is a GPIO pin in the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback() callback function, GPIO PK.7, I guess:// stm32h747I_discovery_ts.h line 88 #define TS_INT_PIN ((

My problem is simple 3 week ago i created an uint_8 value = 128 all work fine i can see 128 2 week ago now i see -127 so i changed my uint8_t to char and everything work i see 128 again1 week ago i see -127 so i changed again to unsigned char and everything work i see 128 againbut now once again i see -127 when i create an unsigned char = 128. can someone explain to me how that can be possibleThanks for you'r help .Alexis.

I am referring to the regulator connected to the usb 5V ( the 5V pin), can it handle a voltage of 12v and step it down to 3.3V for the chip? if not then what is the limit?

BTW, Errata says nothing about this mess.

Hi,Months ago I developed a complete project using HAL libraries for the STM32G030K8T microprocessor. Now I need to implement a low power (STOP0) mode and wake-up it from deep sleep using USART. The point is I am facing the following problems:My project is using the PLLCLK as system clock from HSI RC given a final HCLK of 64MHz. How could I restore this HCLK after the wake-up?I use HAL libraries for the first time and I only find examples written using LL libraries. This result in some Incompatibilities. For example I cannot use HAL_Delay() as usual and I have to use LL_mDelay() instead. Both of them cannot live together? Why?Is there some example using USART (not LPUART) and HAL (not LL) libraries for this STM32G030K8T? I'm not able to find it.Thanks in advance,gaston

Hi,I have installated postgresql on STM32MP1.I would like to install libpqxx , a C++ based postgresql connector. How can i do that? FYI: apt-cache search returns empty.

Hi, The ST BLE Sensor App can change the output data rate. However, I cannot find any detail how to change it on IIS3DWB by its register via SPI. Please advise. Thanks!

Hello, did ST ever made a STE150N10 direct (Drop in) replacement?if so, what would be the partnumber? thanks

ADC3 is broken when using the LL interface.1) This is because it gets initialized with invalid resolution bits:CubeMX currently generates:   ADC_InitStruct.Resolution  = LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B;   ADC_InitStruct.LowPowerMode = LL_ADC_LP_MODE_NONE;   LL_ADC_Init(ADC3, &ADC_InitStruct);But this needs to be:  ADC_InitStruct.Resolution  = __LL_ADC12_RESOLUTION_TO_ADC3(LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B);This results in bogus values.2) Initialization delay is broken:   uint32_t wait_loop_index;   wait_loop_index = ((LL_ADC_DELAY_INTERNAL_REGUL_STAB_US * (SystemCoreClock / (100000 * 2))) / 10);   while (wait_loop_index != 0) {      wait_loop_index--;   }This is because the whole wait loop is doing exactly nothing and there is no reason for the compiler to not optimize it out. This can be easily fixed by declaring the loop index as "volatile

Hi ,After downloading the stm32f401 disco demo .hex file to the board, the accelerometer functionality is not working after pressing the user button as per the readme instructions. It means the LSM303dlhc chip is damaged.So to confirm that, will you take my demo.hex file & download(via st link utility) into your board to see the same effect? If the accelerometer functionality works there it means the chip in my board is damaged.After confirming this problem ,I will buy a new accelerometer module if possible.Satya
