According to the subject, I found I can't enter to the stop2 mode ,when i run the ble stack (APPE_Init() ) in p2p_server. I tried to use HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); behind the aci_gap_set_non_discoverable(); but it wasn't worked . What program i need to add?Thank you very much.

I am finding it difficult to source an external crystal for the Nucleo-64 board (The F103RB). The footprint for the X3 crystal calls for a lead pitch of 5.08mm however this seems to be very uncommon. Most of the crystals out there specifiy a lead pitch of 4.88.Now, looking at the user guide for the Nucleo-64 boards, it mentions a part from HongKong crystal, 9SL8000016AFXHF0, which is:Not useful for me as I want to be able to use a different frequency crystalThe actual datasheet for that HongKong crystal specifies the lead pitch as 4.88mm  Perhaps there an updated PCB design that has not made its way into the CAD resources section of the Nucleo-64 product page for the Nucleo F103RB?

I am starting a project which involves a CMOS camera. I only need to take still images, not video. I would greatly prefer being able to use a microcontroller over an SBC or FPGA. STMicro used to have an STM32F4 with a camera daughter card, but it appears it has been discontinued. Is there some similar dev kit at allows the integration of a camera to an MCU?

Hello everyone,i am currently trying to get the can bus on my Nucleo-F767ZI running. Now i got a problem that every time i sent a message via CAN (from my PCANView) which is longer than two bytes i got a Bus-Off error, but if byte 2 is not empty i can sent messages with more bytes. Maybe someone here can explain to me what i am doing wrong. If you need everything else for helping me, i will upload the requested files.Thank you for your time and help.

When attempting to add an accelerometer to the LoRaWAN_End_Node program, on the SPI1 interface, I find that it works (in polled mode) until the board sleeps and is woken with an interrupt. Then the SPI1 Control Register 1 and Control Register 2 are changed (so the accelerometer can't be accessed).I have spent ages chasing this, as the exact nature of the corruption changes as my code changes. Because the corruption showed as soon as an interrupt happens (GPIO (button press), timer, subGHz radio) I assumed the problem was related to interrupts. Then I figured the corruption might be due to activity just before the interrupt, as the chip is put in a low power state. Sure enough, changing LOW_POWER_DISABLE from 0 to 1 in sys_conf.h makes the problem vanish.Note the corruption varies and sometimes there is no corruption: CR1 can change from 0x035f to 0x0040 or to 0x0000 and CR2 can change from 0x1700 to 0x0700. The values are the same for a given build. It is almost as though it is code-po

I would like to know if touchgfx is portable in other microcontrollers or is it strongly related to ST products? Thanks a lot

Hi, I am working on CVEs and open anomalies analysis for STM32 software to see if there are any recent fixes (in past 1-2 years) which may impact our software and we need to include them.I am going through the questions asked in community forum. But a lot of them are not related to STM 32 MCU software for ex: which are for STM32 Cube software. Can anyone help in segregating these questions only for STM32 MCU software?

Hi I was using 1Gb Flash erlier, now due to flash unavailability. I had to choose different QSPI flash MT25QL128A. But unfortunately there is no flash algorithm .flm file for this flash for STM32H745 device for keil Can anybody help me with Flash algorithm source or .flm file for below PIN configuration ?IO0 -- PD11IO1 -- PF9IO2 -- PF7IO3 -- PF6CLK -- PF10NCS -- PG6If possible, kindly compile for MT25QL128/256/512 as well.. so that for any future requirements it will be easy to migrate.

Dear MEMS and Sensors (but also wider) community,Often this technical community is mainly a platform for a question-and-answer exchange among experts, but it can also be an opportunity to share ideas about new applications with existing sensor or -also- about new sensors, and to propose them directly to STMicroelectronics company.Sometimes you might had the feeling that a particular documentation, a specific application, or even a sensor or an entire technology are missing on the market. If this is the case, there are two channels for this activity (Share Your Activities and Idea Zone. But, especially if your purposes have a more "private" flavor, now you have also the possibility to send your comments/purposes -mainly focused on sensors and related ecosystems (new technology, applications in the field of AI and IoT, documentation)- to this email --> eleon.borlini@st.comFrom a do-ut-des to a community logic.

as the pictures shows，I use stm32mp157c borad to driver the raspberrypi,7inch-touchscree .when the systen run on,i used "modetest" command to list panel on system,I can see panel, but the connector and crtc is null,I can't understander the reason . ask for help

Everytime to debug a program cubeIDE always downloads the program to mcu first no matter the program had not been modified since last download, is it possible to seting the IDE only downloads the program when the program has changed?

Hello Dear Experts,I have strange behavior on my STM3210 board.I flash my binary using STLink and it works well. Then I toggle BOOT0 pin in order to use the standard bootloader in the system memory and I reset the system. The bootloader starts and listens UART.I send the "GO" command over UART from the CubeProgrammer app (no flashing/reading, only "GO" command). In debugger I see that it jumps to the main() function as expected.BUT after calling a few functions it crashes somewhere and the PC register becomes "0x1fffeade".If I disable the BOOT0 pin and restart - everything works well again.I've no idea how to debug that, please help.Thank you.UPD: Thanks to @Community member just realized that "0x1fffeade" address is in the system memory region => Looks like the "crash" is actually "restart". By why does it restart?

Hi All, I followed the updated ST tutorial on Youtube for setting up USB-PD (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vsJhNIaHxE) and I can't seem to actually get it to show up on the STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD app after following as closely as I could. I am designing on a NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q and the latest version of STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 and I wasn't sure how this would impact the items I needed to change when setting up the project as compared to using a different eval board and STM32 series MCU. I noticed that a few pins would be set already when I started the project. After configuring all the same parts in the .ioc file, I did end up with some status warnings on ADC1 and UCPD1 peripherals. All the code was the same as is seen in the video and I was able to build and program without any errors. Is there anything I need to tweak differently from the STM32G0 USB-PD tutorial and my STM32L5 eval board? Also should I be trying to get rid of these status warnings?

Hi,I am configuring the mems sensor data rate as 30hz,So what should be the data reading rate in this case. I mean is it necessary to put a delay after configuring the sensor for reading data continously Or we have to check the status of data ready status register bit each time for getting new data, which one is appropriate method? Please explain?

AN5185 provides a lot of good information on upgrading the FUS, but I don't see the files on the website. Or in any of the STM32Cube_FW_WB_ versions.

HI All,We are using SPC560P controller in our project. I wrote bootloader to load main application from 0x00010000. Do I need to move vector table address for main application? How I can do it? Is there any examples are available to change the linker file? Thanks,Basava

I am receiving this error consistently after leaving my STM32 idle for ~2s after running my program. This is well before the chip goes to sleep.I am able to immediately press start again after this error occurs and continue logging until the chip goes to sleep, or I run the program again and the error occurs after 2s.I am using the basic flow to monitor a few variables and connecting with an STLink V3SETIs there anything else I can do to debug this?

I'm in the process of some development using ST's AIS1120SX Accelerometer, in conjunction with a Nucleo L432-KC development board. I thought I would share some tips and suggestions I have about the accelerometer, as I found it particularly difficult to get started with. EOI/End of Initialization command: The datasheet is a little bit vague about what this command is, and how it is used. On page 46 (rev 4), it states that the device enters the programming phase until the EOI command has been sent (which I thought meant I had to send it). The EOI flag is set by the device itself, the user does not need to do this manually.CRC calculation: CRC calculation is mandatory for bits sent to the device (SDI). If it is not implemented, the device will enter an error mode and not function. The CRC polynomial given by the datasheet is 0x97, which is not correct, unless you drop the +1. I think this must be industry standard, but it caught me out. The full polynomial is 0x12F. I think it could be he

I have downloaded the new H7 package as previously suggested and the issue still remains. Please see attatched image of functions specified in datasheet. Please see image attatched of functions avalailable on cube MXThanks for your help !
