I would like to start a project with the STM32MP157D microprocessor but cant find the power management chip due to supply issues and I do not know any suitable replacement. Thanks!

i want to view more then one variables like stmstudio but i dont know which node is use to saw integer value?

Hi Folks,I've been asked to look at a problem we are having migrating from the STM32F7 to STM32H7. We are seeing a problem when communicating with the QUAD SPI chip (Micron MT25QL256ABA).(I've very familiar with SPI communications and microcontrollers, but new to STM32.)I looked at section 2.4 of the Errata file for the H7 chip: https://www.st.com/resource/en/errata_sheet/dm00368411-stm32h742xi-g-and-stm32h743xi-g-device-limitations-stmicroelectronics.pdf but honestly I'm still going up the learning curve for this chip.We have a sample program that writes data to the QSPI and then reads it back in MemoryMappedMode. Strangely the program runs through the tests 5 times and then fails to read the data back for comparison. Here is a section of the code that consistently fails: // +++++++ START MULTI-SECTOR TEST ++++++++++ // Erase a sector then write a sector // Notes: EraseSector command may be size dependent. // EndAddress parameter is ignored.   // Need to re-init to exit Memor

I'm working on a project where we are using the new STM32U575xx series. Now I created a bootloader and wanted to write protect the bootloader section. However I'm not able to disable the write protection using the ST-Link v3 and STM32CubeProgrammer.If I try to unlock the write protection I get the following error:Is there a way to fix this problem? Or do I have to file a bug report in the support section? How long will it take to fix this? I'm kind of stuck now because also the J-Link STM32 Unlock application doesn't support the STM32U575xx yet...

Hi.Is there a way to properly power off the board without using the console's poweroff command?Tried to press wake-up button for 10 seconds with no effect...Regards,Vlad.

Is there an assumption that the motor parameters are for a star connected motor when setting them in the STMC Workbench ? If your motor is delta-connected, then can you put values given in the motor datasheet directly (winding resistance Rs, inductance Ls and back-emf constant, etc) or do you need to convert them according to the figure ?

I opened and build a STM32F429 STemWin Hello world application in the latest STM32Cube Repository. All works fine, but if I add/change some European letters to the text, eg. Ä, Ö and Å are wrong. They are printed something like A+tilde and a "reverse" P (Word's paragraph mark). I have some other old "green field" STemWin applications that worked then ok, but have now the same problem. Is there anything I can do to correct the behavior?I am using W10, STM32CubeIde and TrueStudio. The old applications were made by TrueStudio. The problem is in both frameworks.Where can I get information about these new libraries, what is what. The same error is now with old and new libraries.

i want to make CNC controller using STM32F4 series MCU which supports G-CODES of axis i want any library for G-code or any CNC example using F4 series mcu?

The system looks like this:-one master controller STM32H7 which holds firmware of slaves-multiple (~8) "slave" STM32H7 on the same FD-CAN busThe slave controller firmware should be upgrades via FD-CAN ST bootloader (see AN5405)AN5405 says "The CAN bootloader firmware supports only one node at a time. This means that it does not support CAN Network Management."Does it mean multiple nodes/slaves are supported, but must be selected(?) by the master,or firmware upgrade is only possible with a single node/slave in the bus?

I am developing a project using STM32F429ZI, I have bought a Nucleo board, read the quick start guide, plugged it into USB power & ethernet... so now what? The quick-start guide literally says "Press button B1 (left button). Observe the blinking frequency of the three LEDs LD1 to LD3 changes, by clicking on the button B1."Is that it for demonstration? :| Do we not get a web page or something from the board to show it working?Given that I selected this specifically because we are developing an Ethernet-connected device I was hoping for a little bit more from ST to get the basics up & running and show a bare-bones IP project.Or perhaps it's a failure of documentation because I can't see anything in any of the guides or manuals that says anything more than "look at the blinky lights". :\

Application note AN2606, on page 380. It says that in the default bootloader, USART is used on pin PA9 (E5)(TX) and PA10 (C8)(RX). However, when I select USART1 in STM32CubeMX, in mode Asynchronous, pins E1 (TX) and C3 (RX) are used. USART programming is not possible with the default bootloader then, right?

We have custom SOM which has been designed with STM32MP157C.We are using the OpenSTLinux 3.0.0 as of now as the distribution running on it.In case of LAN PHY interfacing we are using LAN8720.There is a strange behavior , upon I can see the below message in top. This process is hampering the cpu performance. When running GUI based application I can see definite lag which occurring because of this. The issue completely random earlier but now pretty consistent. Any ideas what might be happening here?Any leads are highly appreciated TIA

I've enabled pps-gpio and pps in the kernel config and added the following to the device tree:/{ //... pps{ compatible = "pps-gpio"; gpios = <&gpiod 13 GPIO_PULL_UP>; status = "okay"; }; };but this results in the following when starting the system:[ 1.350093] pps-gpio pps: failed to request PPS GPIO [ 1.350132] pps-gpio: probe of pps failed with error -22do you have any hint for me how i can fix that?I also tried adding a pinctrl section (which resulted in other problems). Thanks!Thomas

The fuse of the AC mains gets switched off. I tried to connect the oscilloscope through a 10k resistor and the same behavior was observed. However, I could verify that the switching regulator works fine by measuring the voltage with a voltmeter. Both through the DC output terminal and across a 10k resistor. The reading was about (5.6V DC).Any help or advice regarding this would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much for your kind help!

I'm exploring STM32F051 using STM32CUBE IDE without use of HAL or lower level support routines (i.e., upon entry at reset vector, manually configure peripheral registers and go - so far so good :)I wish to cause a reset from within hard fault handler (void HardFault_Handler(void)). I am trying to use NVIC_SystemReset() but this may not be the correct approach.I've verified that HardFault_Handler(void) is being entered and whatever code I put there executes, however, upon exit (from the handler) the triggering event (a deliberately set up access to an invalid memory-space address) evidently recurs, creating a loop.NVIC_SystemReset() does not compile (GCC under STM32CubeIDE 1.8.0.) The error reported by the compiler is:./Src/main.c: In function 'HardFault_Handler':../Src/main.c:260:2: warning: implicit declaration of function 'NVIC_SystemReset' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]Is NVIC_SystemReset() the correct way to cause a reset (cause the CPU to return to initial state and proceed as

I want decompile STM8S208 code file. File format is .S19. What should be the steps I should follow?

How do I implement a watchdog timer for the L4P5ZG device? I have the LPTIM1 example running but I do not see a built-in watchdog timer for this device under the timer tab.

Hi!RM0468 "Figure 1. System architecture" show interconnect between APB2/AHB1. But in the DS13311 "Figure 1. STM32H725xE/G" block diagram shown interconnect APB2/ AHB2.So is there error or there is exactly diagram in DS13311 and generic in RM0468?

Hi all, I'm trying to implement SPI TX communication with DMA. The following "prepareDMASPI()" function should configure and start DMA transferts from a buffer to the SPI device. But it doesn't work (No spi clock or MOSI data), although the SPI is properly configured (and working when used without DMA)Could you please tell me if you see something missing ? (It's Go code, but should be easy to understand) Thanks. func prepareDMASPI() { // Disable device, memory to memory mode, peripheral increment stm32.DMA1.CCR1.ClearBits(stm32.DMA_CCR1_MEM2MEM | stm32.DMA_CCR1_PINC | stm32.DMA_CCR1_EN) // Set Memory increment, circular mode, memory to peripheral stm32.DMA1.CCR1.SetBits(stm32.DMA_CCR1_MINC | stm32.DMA_CCR1_CIRC | stm32.DMA_CCR1_DIR)   stm32.DMA1.CCR1.ReplaceBits(stm32.DMA_CCR1_MSIZE_Bits8, stm32.DMA_CCR1_MSIZE_Msk, 0) // 8bit mem mode stm32.DMA1.CCR1.ReplaceBits(stm32.DMA_CCR1_PSIZE_Bits8, stm32.DMA_CCR1_PSIZE_Msk, 0) // 8bit periph mode stm32.DMA1.CCR1.ReplaceBits(stm32.DM

Hi,I write some data to the 0x080A0000 (sector 5 )address which is not protected. I write the data and ı can read that data too. There is no problem with that. But if I comment out the line which writes to data to the flash and run the program. That time I could not read the data that is written before. Shouldn't the flash keep that data even the power goes off? Any suggestions. Thank you.

I have downloaded the VD6283 GUI application and everything works fine except the "Light Spectrum" panel. From the manual I can see that it should calculate the CCT based on the correlation matrix but the CCT window in the top right is always empty. The CCT_Matrix_Coeff_VD6283.csv file for the matrix is located in the sub-directory "Resources" and I have also loaded it manually but it still does not calculate anything.I am working on Windows 10 x64 and used the default installation path C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\VD6283_GUI. Based on the "how-correlated-color-temperature-is-calculated" document from ST I have implemented the calculation in Python but I would like to verify my results as they seem wrong to me. Do I miss anything?
