Somehow my STM32CubeIde does not allow to put breakpoint at any project see attached picture.I've read that this issue can be caused by too many projects on workspecae - I reduced the number of worspace procect but still does not workI thinks that I have set something that it disable breakpoint for all existing projectsI tought that was IDE issue - I have upgraded the IDE from 1.8.0 to 1.9.0 - It does not helpAny Idea how can I return the breakpoint functionality. Thanks in advance,

The STM32MP157 demands a maximum time of 10 ms from reset command to boot partition data. According to JEDEC No 84-B51 the maximum time from reset command to the first data is up to 1 second (tBD):All data sheets of eMMCs that I found specify their boot timing according to the JEDEC spec. I don't understand how I can ensure that eMMC boot works reliable for all devices.in the field. Can you please help me?Do I understand it right or is there a solution available?

STM32F746 Disco. CubeIDE 1.8.0. Win 10. CMSIS-only (no HAL, no LL, full registers)Learning stuff. The purpose is to make a simple demo-program to make sure I understand how things work. Timers have been the most confusing piece so far due to amount of information and functionality. (tbh DMA feels like a child's toy next to them). I have no problem using basic timer function such as setting regular interrupts. Resources: datasheet, reference manual, programming manual, some application notes on timers.Given: System at 216MHz. 2 Timers: TIM1 adv. as master. TIM3 gp. as slave. When I do Counter Enable for TIM1, I want TIM3 to start immediately as well. TIM3 doesn't start. I don't understand what I missed.TIM1 and TIM3 both work correctly individually (tested), when I start each of them manually.TIM1 advanced timer master: void advanced_timer_setup_master(TIM_TypeDef *TMR) { /* * CR1 reset value = 0x00000000 * ARR is not buffered * only overflow/underflow generates update event *

I developed virtual eeprom function that is running fine. But when i write my interrupts are delayed. To avoid this delay, i decided to move all the code of the interrupt from flash to ram using linker script (i currently just toggle a pin in the interrupt): /* Initialized data sections into "RAM" Ram type memory */ .data : {   . = ALIGN(4);   _sdata = .;       /* create a global symbol at data start */   *(.data)          /* .data sections */   *(.data*)         /* .data* sections */   *(.RamFunc)       /* .RamFunc sections */ <------------   *(.RamFunc*)      /* .RamFunc* sections */ <------------   . = ALIGN(4);   _edata = .;    &nbs

I have read STM32f1 Reference Manual and tested STM32CubeMx functions but have not found any solution. Is there a way to change PWM polarity without Deinitializing Timer??

HelloI have just updated STM32CubeIDE from 1.8 to 1.9. Unfortunately I can't compile the project in version 1.9 anymore.Errors occurred during the build.Errors running builder 'CDT Builder' on project 'STM32_Main'.java.lang.NullPointerExceptionAnyone else with this problem?(The IDE runs on Windows 10)

As title says, it seems ST website is currently not available for downloading dev tool. I have tried different browsers, computers, networks (mobile and LAN), nothing works. I get the error message shown below:

We are new to HyperFlash and OctoSPI and it seems that working through the Datasheet and write my own driver from scratch will be very time consuming... Does anybody have a driver or sample code on how to erase / program a HyperFlash (S26KL512S) with Octo-SPI interface? We use the STM32H7A3 processor. Any help is very much appreciated!BR GS

The documentation for the IHM15A1 dual DC brushed motor driver board (p.2) says it is only compatible with the following Nucleo boards: NUCLEO-F401RE, NUCLEO-F334R8 or NUCLEO-F030R8.   I have a Nucelo-WB55RG. Can I use the IHM15A1 with it? Does the documentation UM2393 need to be updated, or is there some reason the Nucelo-WB55RG isn't compatible with the IHM15A1 expansion board?   It seems that ST Motor control workbench software tool doesn't include support for the NUCLEO-WB55RG or the IHM15A1 - so I suppose I can not use it for profiling my motor?   What is the best approach for using and configuring the IHM15A1 expansion board with the NUCLEO-WB55RG?   Thanks! Dan.

Hi, I'm trying to calibrate the ADC3 on my STM32F303RE microcontroller. In according to the REF MANUAL, I enabled the ADC voltage regulator and then started the calibration but code get stuck in the while loop forever (ADCAL is always 1). I put the for loop just to make sure the VREG got stabilized appropriately but nothing changed RCC->AHBENR |= RCC_AHBENR_ADC34EN; ADC3->CR &= ~ADC_CR_ADEN; ADC3->CR &= ~(0b11<<28); //ADC voltage regulator enable ADC3->CR |= (0b01<<28); //ADC voltage regulator enable for(int i=1; i<10000;i++){}//delay ADC3->CR &= ~ADC_CR_ADCALDIF;//calibration in Single-ended inputs Mode ADC3->CR |= ADC_CR_ADCAL; //start ADC calibration while (ADC3->CR & ADC_CR_ADCAL){}//calibration in progress I'm new into the world of ARM microcontroller, so forgive me if I make a lot of mistakes. Thanks in advance

I'm currently using a scroll list on one of my view, and for the item, there is a button to transition the user to another screen. But that button is messing up the smoothness of the drag-scroll, so I followed this thread https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AIcwHv/scroll-list-with-clickable-itemsand got it differentiate between a click and drag by overriding the click and drag events.void Screen2View::handleClickEvent(const ClickEvent& evt) { if (isClicked && evt.getType() == ClickEvent::RELEASED) { touchgfx_printf("Click detected\n"); scrollWheelListItems.element->setTouchable(true); // not working scrollWheel.handleClickEvent(evt); // not working either Screen2ViewBase::handleClickEvent(evt); // nore this isClicked = false; } else isClicked = true; }   void Screen2View::handleDragEvent(const DragEvent& evt) { //touchgfx_printf("dragged detected "); scrollWheel.handleDragEvent(evt); isClicked = false; }Now, the problem I'm facing is that b

Il the decription of the datasheet we can read this text :They are designed for interfacing between electronic controls and power triacs to control resistive and inductive loads for 115 VAC operationsBut in the Typical Application Circuit (figure 12), we can see 240VAC load control It is contradictory ? Is ot possible to control 240VAC load without risk ? Best Regards Malo

Hi, I'm trying to configure my stm32h7b0vb for max clock (280Mhz), but max freq on DIVN1 is 420Mhz, and DIVP1 is 2 (min val). Therefore I only reach 210Mhz

I am using the STM32L4S9AII6 clocked at 120MHz.I am trying to configure a simple (to me it should be simple) retriggerable one pulse mode timer. I was able to configure TIM6 in one-shot mode, but I had the following issues:The timer was not retriggerableMxCube did not allow me to eliminate the pulse delay as this was a basic timer.I am now trying to use general purpose timer TIM15 because the reference manual is inferring that this is the only timer that is capable of retriggerable one pulse mode. However, I am not even able to get this timer to trip an interrupt. My frustration is that I have now come across 3 different ST documents that explain how to configure the timer in this mode, but all of them reference hardware registers which means little to me because MxCube does not indicate what registers are being changed with the avalable settings. Can someone please help me know how to set up a retriggerable one pulse timer using MxCube? Specifically, I want this to be completely softwa

Hello, everyone. I had a problem with version 7.1.0 of X-CUBE-AI. When I load the TFlite model of the neural network and generate the code I have problems initializing the input and output buffers. In particular I have a problem with this assignment: ai_buffer ai_input[AI_NETWORK_IN_NUM] = AI_NETWORK_IN;The compiler gives me a problem with the AI_NETWORK_IN macro, which is listed as deprecated and returns ai_buffer*. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? How can it be solved? In version 5.20.0, I had no problems with initialisation and already evaluated many different examples.Thank you,Davide

I am using a KSZ9021GN PHY in MII mode. Due to supply chain issues we had to resort to this PHY. (Cube MX says I can't use GMII mode). I am experiencing this apparently common issue: [ 15.650981] dwmac4_dma_reset err [ 15.652849] stm32-dwmac 5800a000.ethernet: Failed to reset the dma [ 15.659006] stm32-dwmac 5800a000.ethernet eth0: stmmac_hw_setup: DMA engine initialization failed [ 15.668518] stm32-dwmac 5800a000.ethernet eth0: stmmac_open: Hw setup failed I have read over https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Ethernet_overview#How_to_debugand it says typically that the clock(s) are not present at reset, but I am not clear on what clocks are involved in MII mode. Any thoughts on what might be wrong?
