From SBSFU examples, with default SECUSER memory setting except reading from OB registers, it is only protecting SBSFU area alone.Are we need to protect SBSFU + ACT_SLOT HEADER (1024 Bytes for H7) area as well right ??So what is your recommendation on protection of HEADER ??

Hi, I am looking to read 16bits which are split between port A and B on an interrupt hooked up to exti0. I *seem* to have the dma working and see the expected data at DMA completion (interrupt). However the DMA controller does not react to the interrupt quick enough and Im trying to compensate by triggering a little earlier and having the dma controller read a few more instances from A/B ->IDR. What I am stuck at is how I can get the data to output to an array of 32 words in a ringbuffer fashion. It seems circular mode limits itself to 4 words total. Which is not enough to grab the data I want. I also couldnt understand when DMA continues in circular mode while in the completion interrupt. Do I need to temporarily suspend DMA while in that interrupt to read the data or does DMA continue on clearing the pending bit?Should I be using a separate DMA channel to take Data out of sram and put it in a stack allocated array?Thanks!

It was part of an RS232 board on a 20 year old CNC machine

Hello, I have a Nucleo L476RG which I'm using for different projects, and I never gave an importance to the offset addresses that are written before every register in the reference manual.Can anyone explain to me what are theses offsets.

I see numerous examples of 4-wire SWD without a reset pin connection.I come from the PIC world where there is always Data, Clock and Reset for a Pgm/Dbg interface.I bought a Chinese STLink-V2 programmer/debugger and it has a reset pin as well as data, clock, GND and VSS.Although, the Chinese STLink-V2 comes with a 4-conductor cable for attachment to my target.Do I need to connect the Reset pin?Also, anyone know of an Ap-Note that covers the electrical nature of the SWD interface.Thank You

May i ask a question on the item TIP147 Can this item input current withstand the 30V ?

I've followed this tinyML for stm32 from Digikey "TinyML: Getting Started with STM32 X-CUBE-AI | Digi-Key Electronics" reference,and got no Errors in STM32CubeMX when I clicked "Analyze" button after I've uploaded the tfLitemodel.Later I've tried this import tensorflow as tffrom tensorflow.keras.layers import *from tensorflow.keras.models import Sequential, Modelfrom tensorflow.keras.optimizers import Adam, RMSpropimport numpy as npinput1 = Input(shape=(1,))input2 = Input(shape=(1,))input = Concatenate()([input1, input2])x = Dense(2)(input)x = Dense(1)(x)model = Model(inputs=[input1, input2], outputs=x)model.summary()model.compile(    optimizer = RMSprop(lr=0.02,rho=0.9,epsilon=None,decay=0),    loss = 'mean_squared_error')x1=np.array([2600, 3000, 3200, 3

Hello,I used a GFSK configuration with 433MHz and it is work very well,I try now to migrate to Lora modulation. i used a basic config, but the receiver on the other side receive less then 1% of sent frames ! (even transmitter and receiver are very close)is anybody has advice to improve communication ?

If Azure ThreadX is enabled, Systick no longer updates; HAL_IncTick() is no longer called from the interrupt, and initialization fails.

Hi,I have an issue with calling Timer13 from model.cpp. For instance, htim13.Instance->CCR1 = 95. for instance fails to load. Wasn't a problem for CM7.c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.7.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.win32_1.0.0.202111181127\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: ./Application/User/gui/Model.o: in function `Model::PWM_DELTA(int)':C:/TouchGFXProjects/AUGV.08.30.2002/CM7/TouchGFX/gui/src/model/Model.cpp:23: undefined reference to `htim13'#include <gui/model/Model.hpp>#include <gui/model/ModelListener.hpp>#include "stm32h7xx_hal.h"extern TIM_HandleTypeDef htim13;Model::Model() : modelListener(0){}void Model::tick(){}void Model:: PWM_DELTA(int value){value = value * 9.70; //constant to allow 0-100 percent htim13.Instance->CCR1 = 95; //change dutyclycle}I've written this code multiple times without issue utilizing one processor (CM7). Now I'm using CM4 for PWM, I have a handler failure that I can't resolve.

I am getting "Error: can't fuse again in the OTP" when I tried registering a key on boards that shouldn't have been fused before. Is there a way to confirm if they are fused? Heres a picture of the output: Am I missing a step? I've been following "STM32 MPU ROM code secure boot" and "How to use U-Boot stm32key command" articles on how to enable secure boot.

I am trying to configure a PWM output pin. Ive managed to get it working, however the results are not as expected, and i cannot understand whats happening.Currently my timer clocks are running at 64MHz.I've setup a timer with the follow values, and it works in producing a 10kHz PWM. The prescalar being 64, should give a frequency of 1MHz. As 64/64=1. Then the Period being 100 should be freq/100 resulting in 0.01MHz. Which is 10kHz. This pwm shows up perfectly on my oscilloscope. htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 64-1; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 100-1; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE;However if i change the Period value to 10-1, i would expect a PWM of 100KHz. However I dont get a PWM signal any more. The signal just goes HIGH, and does not change. htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 64-1; htim1.Init.Counte

I'm struggling to get DMA working on a PWM Timer. I've read just about everything i can, but not having any luck get it working.Running this code.. produces a PWM signal as expected on the output.TIM1->CCR1 = 50; HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1);However, when I swap the code to the following, all I get is a low signal. It never produces a PWM at all. My expectation is that it should do. I have my scope on single shot, and triggered correctly.pwmData[0] = 0; pwmData[1] = 10; pwmData[2] = 20; pwmData[3] = 30; pwmData[4] = 40; pwmData[5] = 50; pwmData[6] = 60; pwmData[7] = 70; pwmData[8] = 80; pwmData[9] = 90; HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1, (uint32_t *)pwmData, 10); I have DMA setup for the timer

Hello,we are developing an application with LoRaWAN and FreeRTOS, based on STM32CubeWL, for a custom board.While we got this to send data properly with the LoRaWAN "End Node skeleton", we are facing issues with the "User defined skeleton".With "User defined skeleton", join and sending works the first time, but further calls to `LmHandlerSend(…)` error with `LORAMAC_HANDLER_BUSY_ERROR`, because in LoRaMac.c `MacCtx.MacState` is `LORAMAC_TX_RUNNING`.While this might be similar to question 0D53W00001aJT8eSAG in this forum, we already tried increasing the stack sizes with no success.Instead, repeated sending works properly if we set `DISABLE_LORAWAN_RX_WINDOW` in lorawan_conf.h to 1. That is with "NVIC/SUBGHZ Radio Interrupt" enabled in the IOC. But we want to use RX functionality as well.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, This may be more of a general Git usage question, but I am currently learning how to use Git so I can begin to implement version control with my projects. There doesn't seem to be many examples online of embedded use, it's mostly web stuff. I use CubeIDE exclusively but am learning Git from the command terminal as I also want to learn another skill (using GUIs seems to be cheating a bit). My question is: where would one want to initialise the Git repository when wanting to implement version control in a CubeIDE project? So far I have initialised Git within the project folder itself as seen here: and when I've made any substantial changes, I stage and then commit. Is this the best way to implement? Obviously this will then include all the drivers and other files that are auto generated.

I would like to use the STM32F779AI, in WLCSP package. I did not find any application notes, or schematics or dev board for such MCU. Is there some litterature or example, schematics, ... talking about layout rules, VIAs, etc... for the WLCSP-180 (pitch 0.4mm) package.Thanks in advancePascal

Hi, are there any future plans on updating emwin base in stemwin lib ? If I didn't miss something latest update was V5.44 / 22-March-2018.

HI ,I have working on switched mode power supply design with wide input range (30-300) and I am using on the design many ST components.I have make my first design using eDesignSuite from ST using Viper37 IC, but I ordered only 2 IC and after that I couldn't find any Viper37 any more in any market, for that I used another IC with separately Moseft outside.When I designed multiple outputs smps on eDesignSuite it gives me only feedback from only one output as shown on the schematic below.After make the PCB of the design I test in the lab, and it works very well on no load condition but when I add load (resistors in parallel), the voltage of all the output voltage are decreasing.I have multiple output from the transformer with only one feedback for 24v output, I think the problem is having only one feedback for all systems for that it is not steady. I attached my circuit here, may you please show me how can I add feedback for all of my outputs ?sincerely,ZAIM

When I change the download directory for my yocto project in my local.conf file, this note pops up, what is this and should I do anything about it.NOTE: /home/gencay/STM32MPU_workspace/openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15/layers/meta-st/meta-st-openstlinux/recipes-st/images/st-image-resize-initrd.bb: ENABLE_PARTITIONS_IMAGE not enabled:45

Hello, Two questions.First one: __attribute__((__packed__)) does not work: for a structuretypedef __attribute__((__packed__)) struct a_s {   uint32_t M; uint16_t V; uint8_t Data[1];   } Type_A;sizeof(Type_A) returns 8, not 7.Second one: after STM32CubeIDE update to 1.10.1 when "Build a selected file" (*.c), the file seems to be processed, but NO build results more seen in the CDT Build Console.Any ideas?

I would like to trigger ADC conversions using a timer so that I can get the time associated with each sample. This is so that I can plot voltage vs time like an oscilloscope.According to the datasheet, it seems like the maximum external ADC trigger is limited to 3.6 MHz, but I would like to have a 8 MHz trigger such that time and voltage are aligned. Is there any better way to do this if I am limited by the 3.6 MHz? My goal is to have the ADC sampling at 8Msps. If this is known, I was thinking that I can calculate the time interval between each sample. However, I don't know how to verify the ADC sample rate other than through calculations.I am using the STM32H743zit6. I am very new to microcontrollers, and I would appreciate any advice!

HiI am trying to install STM32CubeWB from STM32CubeMX by following YouTube "STM32WB Getting Started Series: Part 3, Tools Install". After clicking "INSTALL/REMOVER" button, I got message "The Updater is already in use and checking the server. Please retry launching the Update after a few seconds."I use my home internet. There isn't any proxy server on the way. Any tip to solve the issue?Thanks in advance!Nancy

I can control the card with stm32 CubeProgrammer when I reset mode "hardware reset". But when I use cubeIDE, I can't assign the program, it can't see the target, what could be the reason? Can I only use it in Hex mode?
