HI! I have a L4960 switching regulator, I want to know if there is a formula to calculate the switching frequency in fuction of the resistor and capacitor connected to pin 5. Also if you know more information about the pin 3 and pin 6 functionalitys it will be very helpful. Thank you.

I am stuck trying to get the STM32L552E-EV evaluation board running with SPI using the DMA. Neither the mentioned example (STM32CubeL5\Projects\NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q\Examples\SPI\SPI_FullDuplex_ComDMA_Master) nor the code created via the wizard, nor my own code work. I end up always with the same problem of the SPI clock running and also the HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback function getting called, but the MOSI line staying low (see figure). At the same time, transmits triggered via the HAL_SPI_Transmit function are clocked in just fine. I posted a question to the same topic before, but I guess the title was not descriptive enough, and I did not mange to draw further attention to it. (https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001uaQ9aSAE/spi-using-dma-not-outputting-data-on-mosi-line-on-the-stm32l552eev-evaluation-board) It would be great if someone (maybe at ST) could try to run the example on the mentioned evaluation board and check if it is working fine. At the same time, I am open for any advic

I'm using an ST MCU (STM32F765VGT6) on a custom board, wired to an X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 communicating via I2C. I've integrated the RFAL library into an existing codebase. I've taken elements of the Disco demo code into our codebase, to exercise the RFAL. (It is based on the PollingTagDetect example, demo_polling.c, from STM32CubeExpansion_NFC6_V1.1.0)I am able to detect a tag, but the UID is returning as blank. I'm not seeing any I2C traffic on the Saleae analyzer that looks like the ID, so I don't think it is being retrieved from the reader. The code isn't breaking anywhere that seems to write to nfcId1, but it's a little hard to track down which variable it's actually stored in. Can you point me to where in the RFAL library you'd expect the nfcId1 variable to be stored for a NFCA type 2 tag? For I2C are there any gotchas similar to the SPI gotachas (where you need to have a separate GPIO controlling CS)? Any other suggestions for tracking this down? Thanks,Katie

i found in Cube/FW-packs some Audio class Device examples, but no one with Audio Host.i selected in Cube for H743 USB_HOST and Audio_Class, ok .and now : how to "play" on connected sound card ?

Hi I have a program, which works normally on standalone STM32f103c8t6. I made a custom board and now I can upload the program, but its not running. Even simple Blink sketch. HiI found something strange in cmsis dsp source.I am using stm32f429 and LITTLE ENDIAN and cmsis dsp library V.1.5.1.in cmsis dsp library(arm_mult_q31.c) :void arm_mult_q31( q31_t * pSrcA, q31_t * pSrcB, q31_t * pDst, uint32_t blockSize){... while (blkCnt > 0U) {  /* C = A * B */  /* Multiply the inputs and then store the results in the destination buffer. */  inA1 = *pSrcA++;  inA2 = *pSrcA++;  inA3 = *pSrcA++;  inA4 = *pSrcA++;  inB1 = *pSrcB++;  inB2 = *pSrcB++;  inB3 = *pSrcB++;  inB4 = *pSrcB++;  out1 = ((q63_t)inA1 * inB1) >> 32;   out2 = ((q63_t)inA2 * inB2) >> 32;  out3 = ((q63_t)inA3 * inB3) >> 32;  out4 = ((q63_t)inA4 * inB4) >> 32;  out1 = __SSAT(out1, 31);  out2 = __SSAT(out2, 31);  out3 = __SSAT(out3, 31);  out4 = __SSAT(out4, 31); &

Hello I am using nucleo G031K8 with STM32 cube ide and I am trying to initialize the SPI1 peripheral with registers. Here is my init code and the corresponding wrong registers. The RCC and GPIO registers are fine. Only SPI1 registers are wrongHow can I solve this? Thanks

I know the microcontroller has built-in comparators and I'm trying to use it as a transimpedance amplifier. So, I want to test the comparators but the Necleo-WB55 developer kit doesn't have built-in comparators. So, I have to test it on my custom board with the STM32WB55VGY6TR microcontroller. However, there is two big concern. The one is that I didn't connect any output pin of the comparator to ADC in my custom board. The other is that ADC cannot read negative voltage but the transimpedance amplifier is inverted OP-AMP. So, the output could be negative. So, I have a question here.Is there any way to read the comparator's output voltage without connecting the output pin to the ADC? (or is the microcontroller designed already for this purpose? because I found that it is not mandatory to assign the output pin in STM32cubeMX.If not, can I connect the output pin to the ADC even though the comparator may generate a negative voltage?

Try to use STM32G0 LQFP32 MCU do accuracy frequency measurement, but there is no HSE crystal interface, so internal HSI RC will be for system clock, the accuracy of the system clock will affect the frequency, how accuracy is internal HSI RC clock

Hi,for my application I need to set RDP regression from my application code :1) Is it possible in RDP2 to provide OEM Key (for regression) from application code in order to restore JTAG access (and perform a regression whith a user intervention)2) Is it possible to do RDP 2 => RDP 1 from application code (using DBGMCU_DBG_AUTH_DEVICE or other way) ? if yes what is the correct process3) is it possible to go from RDP 1 to RDP 0 or RDP 0_5?for this part I try the following code without success (no error but no RDP Regression)  FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef obConfig = {0};  HAL_FLASH_Unlock();  HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock();  obConfig.RDPKey1 = 0x11111111;  obConfig.RDPKey2 = 0x11111111;  obConfig.RDPKeyType = OB_RDP_KEY_OEM1;  obConfig.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_RDPKEY;  HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&obConfig);  obConfig.RDPLevel= OB_RDP_LEVEL_0_5;  obConfig.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_RDP;  HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&obConfig);  obConfig.RDPLeve

Hello, I'm able to connect the STM32CubeMonitor-UCPD with NUCLEO-G071RB and X-NUCLEO-SNK1M after following the instructions in AN5418. I only changed port 0 Sink PDO1 to 0x020641F4.I want to use the setup as a sink and always want to get the maximum power the source can deliver. But when I request a Power Profile, the Message gets rejected. Maybe someone could give me a hint what I'm doing wrong?Thank you and best regards

Good day I am currently trying to get a st25dv04k running on an nrf9160dk using i2c. At the moment i'm having trouble 'waking' up the slave as i'm not sure what address to send the startup condition to. Please assist if possible.Thank you

I'm trying to send udp data from stm to server. But when i observe in Wireshark, the protocol shown as ECHO, not UDP. What is the reason?

Hi,I use STM32CubeMX to configure a STM32H743 device. I enabled global DCMI interrupts. But I see no HAL functions to start the DCMI and enable specific interrupts.I hoped to find suitable functions in stm32h7xx_hal_dcmi.c. But there aren't.There is a HAL_DCMI_Stop() but not a start equivalent. There is a HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA() which is strange because I did not enable DMA in STM32CubeMX. (Well, I did first, but then I disabled it)I see the interrupt functions like HAL_DCMI_VsyncEventCallback() which I can overload, but I see no functions to enable each specific interrupt. What am I doing wrong?

Using STM32H735, Can I play any video clip?TouchGFX has video clip play example for STM32H735-DK EVB.But It is not working.

I want to disassemble the ADC function and BLE data transmission asynchronously. So, I want to program the microcontroller using multi-thread.When I coded BLE, It look already used multi-thread but I couldn't understand it exactly. Is there any example of this?

I'm developing a custom board with STM32WB55.Because there is some error during debugging, I'm trying to solve it.To check what is problem in the microcontroller, I tried Fault Analyzer in the STM32CubeProgrammer and the program found such an error below."MemManage fault detected in instruction located at 0x6414AA00"Here is the question. How can I understand what's this error and how can I fix it?

Hello,I'm working with blueVoice over sensorTile.I downloaded FP-SNS-ALLMEMS2 project version 2.1.0 and also project FP-SNS-ALLMEMS1 in version 4.2.0 and 4.1.0On Android side i'm using ST Ble Sensor app from Play StoreAll of them give me a very bad audio, with a cracking noise in background.I have good result only using a second SensorTile with preinstalled FP-SNS-ALLMEMS1 in version 3.1.0.Unfortunately I not able to find source project related to this version (3.1.0).Are they available in some way? Thanks to all and regards

Hello,I have a project working on the F303-re Nucleo board. I want to run it now on the F303-ze Nucleo board. Apparently virtual com port doesn't work the same on the ZE as it does on the RE. I can take a new RE board, copy the binary file to the RE board and the app starts communicating on the virtual comm port. I do the same thing on the ZE board and I get no virtual comm port communications. I assume I'm missing a jumper or solder bridge configuration that will allow the ZE to start virtual comm port communications. What am I missing? Thanks,Dave

HiRegarding Scan command.I never get ACI_GAP_PROC_COMPLETE_EVENT after 10 sec. (AN5270 says I should get one)I do get all the updates, but never the complete .Can you check if I need to terminate it myself?

Hi,May i know which pin on SPC57S-Eval kit board use for serial clock and serial data?I want to connect the gyroscope sensor to the board.

I ran stm32 with cubemx and iar to execute the project, but I have to remove the st-link line and execute itIf I take out the line, the project can't be executed, so how can I only connect the board and power to run the project?download active application -> download fileI tried it the above way, but it doesn't work when I turn it off and on

I am currently working on a STM32F767ZI-Nucleo board and a little security chip (microchip atecc508a), that is connected via i2c connection. For this chip is a library available CryptoAuthLib (https://github.com/MicrochipTech/cryptoauthlib), that I want to use in my project. I'm also using STM32CubeMX to generate my C-Files and Atollic TrueStudio to write my implementations.C programming language is relatively new to me, so I have no idea how to include my library folder to my project (either in cubemx or in trustudio?) to get it work.I think the include statement "#include "cryptoauthlib.h"should be in the main.cinclude section, but in a certain way I have to tell the IDE to use this library.I appreciate any help, thank you very much.
