Board: STM32L496ZGMy requirement - 2ms dead time Frequency - 50hz and Internal clock is 40mhz.In 40mhz (internal clock) i got expected frequency (50hz) using Prescaler = 80-1 Peroid value = 10000-1PWM Counter =5000-1 Then, i reduced my Internal clock has (20mhz) same expected frequency (50hz) using Prescaler = 40-1Peroid value = 10000-1PWM Counter =5000-1 instead of 50hz i got 100hz Except 20mhz if i set (2.5mhz) and (0.625mhz) i got same expected frequency. (Why its happening if i set 20mhz?)

Hello Can NFC tag be used to transmit audioif yes , which type can be used from ST and what reader would be appropriate.not the physical proximity tags but other thanks

I have custom board based on STM32MP153C.This board has 7 serial ports. I configuring these ports with STM32MP1Cube.After linux boot 4 of these serial ports become disabled Driver doesn't probe them and they are in "disabled" state in /sys/firmware/devicetree. Enabled only serial0, serial 3 and serial5 portsi tried to make a devicetree dump with dd if=/dev/mem at adress in which devicetree was loaded by uboot and in this dump these ports are disabled as well.DTB If I convert my DTB file (which is loading by UBOOT I see my correct devicetree, but in memory dump is edited and I don't know why.Also my board has I2C and SPI interfaces and they have the same behavior.Below I give part of my device tree in terms of serial ports:#include <dt-bindings/pinctrl/stm32-pinfunc.h>   #include "stm32mp153.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15xc.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15xxab-pinctrl.dtsi" #include "stm32mp15-m4-srm.dtsi" / { aliases { serial0 = &usart6; serial1 = &uart8; serial2 = &

for STM32F429I-DISC1, the Designer creates a project that does not contain an .ioc file. This means that any functionality additional to the graphics must be configured by code instead of CubeMX. Is there a simple way I can have an .ioc file in the project? Nikos

I am using the STM32H7B3I-EVAL, which includes a touch screen that uses the TouchGFX application. I am trying to do its tutorials, which includes modifying the code in the STM32CubeIDE. However, when I do, the file structure is different in my computer's file explorer compared to what is shown in the STM32CubeIDE project explorer.For example, the TouchGFX folder in my File Explorer is not present in the IDE project explorer.What causes this and what can be done to fix it?

Hi all, I have this problem. I want to start the ADC of my microcontroller, and following the reference manual it says I have to wait until the ADRDY register is set by the hardware to continue and make conversions, but that register never sets. This is my code: This function enables the DMA fot the ADCvoid DMA_Init(ADC_TypeDef * adc, DMA_Channel_TypeDef * dma_ch, std::uint16_t * buffer, std::uint32_t buffer_length,std::uint8_t length){   adc->CFGR |= ADC_CFGR_CONT; adc->CFGR |= ADC_CFGR_DMAEN | ADC_CFGR_DMACFG; adc->SMPR1 |= (7U << 3U) | (7U << 6U); //max sampling rate dma_ch->CPAR = (std::uint32_t)(&adc->DR); dma_ch->CMAR = (std::uint32_t)(buffer); dma_ch->CNDTR = buffer_length; dma_ch->CCR |= DMA_CCR_EN; Enable_regulator(adc); Enable(adc); Calib(adc); Enable(adc); }So these are the enable regulator and enable functions:void Enable_regulator(ADC_TypeDef * adc){ adc->CR &= ~(ADC_CR_ADVERGEN

Greetings,Currently the project has a requirement for a Custom BLE server profile. I have a few doubts, for which I'm seeking clarifications.I flashed the 'stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw' v1.14 at the specified memory location as per the release notes. The binary was successfully upgraded. When I perform the step debug, the 'WirelessInfo' returns the proper values. In the next step, most of the times 'p_sys_ready_event' returns FUS_FW_RUNNING instead of WIRELESS_FW_RUNNING. What is the cause for this? Even though the wireless stack is programmed why does the return value is not proper?When the return value of p_sys_ready_event is proper(WIRELSS_FW_RUNNING), the program moves forward. Program hits the 'APP_BLE_Init' function and the command packet is initialized. Then 'SHCI_C2_BLE_Init' is hit. This function is returns the status with the value 0x04(undefined in the documents) and the program gets stuck in Error handler(). Based on the comments provided before the error handler function, C

I am trying to test out the Stop2 mode on the STM32U575 (Specifically the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q) but am getting very high currents in the mAs. I am putting the device into Stop2 mode with the MSIS as the system clock at 4MHz. I then set the Power Regulator Voltage Scale to "Power Regulator Voltage Scale 4" from the RCC window in the .ioc view. I do have some GPIO active like the various test LEDs and 1 UART enabled but I have tried disabling all pins and peripherals with no improvement. With this configuration I am pulling ~8mA. I have read that in order to get lowest possible power, the ultra low power mode on the BOR needs to be enabled using the ULPMEN bit in the PWR register. When I try to write to this bit, it never gets set. Not sure why I cant enable this? And I have not been able to find a clear definition of what this even is? It configures the BOR in "discontinuous mode"? Here is a snippet of my simple test code: HAL_SuspendTick(); uint16_t test = READ_REG(PWR->CR1);&n

Hey everyone,I cant seem to get separate callbacks going for my spi peripherals, each using DMA. Their both receiving data and by default seem to respond to HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback. So whether SPI1 or SPI4's reception completes, HAL_SPI_RxCpltCallback is called for both.I've tried to change the callback using the DMA handler;hdma_spi1_rx .XferCpltCallback = ...; but this hasn't helped at all.Does anyone have any idea how to change the callback to get seperate callbacks for each spi periph?Thanks in advance!

Hey, I'm trying to get the AEK-MOT-SM81M1 example project working that is imported from the SPC5STUDIO 6.0 program. HiI have a strange problem with my p-nucleo board(MB1355C)Using the example as reference DFU_Standalone (STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.12.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\USB_Device\DFU_Standalone)I am able to jump to bootloader and perform DFU update using CubeProgrammerThis is the jump code which is triggered by if SW1 is pressed. If I use the USB_USER connector and apply JP1 USB_MCU then I can see board as DFU Device in Device Manager (Windows 10)void BootloaderInit() {   __enable_irq(); HAL_RCC_DeInit(); HAL_DeInit(); SysTick->CTRL = SysTick->LOAD = SysTick->VAL = 0; __HAL_SYSCFG_REMAPMEMORY_SYSTEMFLASH();   const uint32_t p = (*((uint32_t *) 0x1FFF0000)); __set_MSP( p );   void (*SysMemBootJump)(void); SysMemBootJump = (void (*)(void)) (*((uint32_t *) 0x1FFF0004)); SysMemBootJump();   while( 1 ) {} }However if I apply the same logic in BLE_p2pClient (\STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.12.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_p2pC

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience but I really can't understand why I can't write/read new cards (the ones he has work) from my customer reader. What am I doing wrong?I enclose the photos, his card (working and writable / readable) and the one I created for him.Thanks again,Andrew

I have an STM32L431RCT6. I'm trying to read the internal temperature sensor using DMA, but I get temperature values > 130 °C.I can read the temperature without the DMA just fine. And the other channels can be read fine using regular conversion or DMA.I now first read the VREF channel, then ADC channel 1 and then the Temperature sensor. But I've tried putting the internal temperature sensor at different ranks (first, last, multiple times in a row), but that didn't help.The values are pretty consistent and I set ADC cycles to 640.5 for each channel. My CPU is clocked at 80MHz and my ADC at 5MHz. I've tried lower and higher clocks.ADC is calibrated after initialization.My ADC temperature calibration values are 1034 and 1370 for 30°C and 130 °C respectively, but I get ADC values > 1500 @ 20°C when using DMA!My VDDA is 3.3V instead of the calibration value of 3.0V, so I would expect lower ADC values than the calibration values, not 50% higher.Without the DMA I get values between 21 °C

Hi, how can I do if I want to display the float value in touchgfx screen?so, this is my stm32cubeide main.c which i want to display this type of data on the screen. so I extern into model.cpp file. then I put the float value here? I got confuse since a lot of tutorial only using the uint16_t. Is it correct or not ? please advice me and guide me for the step or any can i refer

We have used your ST25 NFC Tap app to read NFC tags emitted by a device with an ST25 chip. That has worked quite well up to a point when certain smartphones got their Android 12 update. Now the app displays an error.The phones are a minority but they are delivered by leading brands like Nokia or Motorola. Android 11 works fine in all cases. Also, ST24 has no problem connecting with Android 12. Is there any known issue about this combination (chip + OS)? If yes, can it be worked around?

Hello,I'm trying to use the CM4_SEV_IRQHandler to send interrupt to the CM7 by CM4. Do you know if there is some documentation about that because the reference manual just give the number of NVIC about this interrupt (p.800/3528)?Can I use this interrupt to communicate between CM4 and CM7 with a shared SRAM?Thanks

Don't have a eval board currently, waiting for order to arrive.Can anyone tell whether CubeProgrammer and other popular tools will properly detect that F7 is in dual bank mode, so it has a different number and size of sectors?Can these tools set the option bit that enables dual bank mode and flash the data in a single programming pass, or first we have to enable dual bank, disconnect, connect again and flash the data?
