Hello i am trying to make N pulse in some exact time, when i adjust a timer with one pulse mode, everything is ok but pulse always start with a delay because it is basically a pwm single starting with low side and high side. I want my pulse start immediately and after delay. Whatever i try i couldnt make it. (pwm modes, change channel polarity, idle state, counting up or down etc..)Please somebody help mePulse timer output channel normally must be low state. My signal looks like this, but if you look closely signal starts with a low delay and pulse after, how to make it start with a pulse after delay?

Hi,Could you please suggest a direction with my problem?I try to read and write data to a sensor via i2c with DMA1 in an STM32 Nucleo F401 board where a FreeRTOS is running.I can read the sensorata with polling methode, and next to the I2C an UART is running with the DMA2 correctly. I have checked and the MX_DMA_Init is running before the MX_I2C1_Init.When I try to write to the sensor as a master with DMA(HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_DMA) with the "i2c1 event interrupt" and "i2c1 error interrupt" disabled in the FreeRTOS the parattet tasks are just running fine just the callback HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback is not triggered. And when i am enabling the" i2c1 event interrupt" and "i2c1 error interrupt" from the CubeMX two parallel task in the Free rtos are running at once and then no more parallel schedulling is happening and the HAL_I2C_EV_IRQHandler function is called periodically and leaving the function in the last else branch where the /* Do nothing */ is commented.Could you please sugges

Dear allAfter having enabled ETH + LwIP stack we are experiencing that something in the init phase are keeping blocked all. After a while we see that the root causes is inside HAL_ETH_ReadPHYRegister.Specifically we are referring at this part of code:Is there any way to make this in a better way?Davide

Hi,I've just tried to set up TIM2 on an STM32G0B1RE in CubeMX like this:The exact purpose shouldn't matter for this question, but the timer is supposed to generate an interrupt when a LOW pulse of a given minimum length is detected on an external signal, entirely in hardware. I already have a plan for how to do that. The problem is that with this configuration, the ETR pin (for the gate input signal) actually seems to become an output! After some head scratching, I found that this only happens if I use specifically Channel 1 for Output Compare. I assume that's because ETR1 and CH1 are somehow connected internally and can't be freely used at the same time. It just surprises me that this matters even in "No Output" mode, and CubeMX did not stop me from configuring it this way. It DOES stop me from using "Output Compare CH1", the tooltip of which is so far the only indication that ETR1 and CH1 might be related that I could find. Admittedly I just skimmed the reference manual, but couldn't

Hi, Below is the design1) input voltage at inverting side is 8V with the 4.7k series connecting to inv terminal2) voltage at non inverting terminal is fixed at 3.5V.3) the difference between inputs is greater than 1V(Vid=1V). 4) My question is whether OPAMP have clamp diode at both inputs?. If it is there, kindly share that schematic 5) As per datasheet 1mA is specified as the max input current. pls share one example calculation for calculating input current

Hello, I am trying to learn bare metal programming and servo motor control with my stm32f407g-disc1 card. I cannot move the servo motor with stm. I tried with arduino to check if the problem is in the motor and the motor worked. I thought my PWM signal was wrong and I found codes from the internet but it didn't work again. I am attaching the code and logic analyzer graphs. Can you help me what could be the problem?void GPIO_Init(void); void TIM2_Init(void); void TIM4_ms_Delay(uint32_t delay);   void GPIO_Init(){ RCC->AHB1ENR |= 1; //Enable GPIOA clock GPIOA->AFR[0] |= 0x00100000; // Select the PA5 pin in alternate function mode GPIOA->MODER |= 0x00000800; //Set the PA5 pin alternate function }   void TIM2_Init(){ RCC->APB1ENR |=1; TIM2->PSC = 16-1; //Setting the clock frequency to 1MHz. TIM2->ARR = 20000; // Total period of the timer TIM2->CNT = 0; TIM2->CCMR1 = 0x0060; //PWM mode for the timer TIM2->CCER |= 1; //Enable channel 1 as ou

If there is some other solution to it, apart from changing the uC, please suggest.

Hello community, since I updated the STM32 Cube IDE the following problem is displayed when entering the run or debug session.WARNING: CPU random generator seem to be failing, disable hardware random number generationWARNING: RDRND generated: 0xffffffff 0xffffffff 0xffffffffff 0xffffffffffffffHave you had this before and possibly already a solution for it?with kind regardsTim

USB_ResetPort function is called in USBH_Process in HOST_IDLE state after USBH_Delay(200U); this results in 300 ms delay usb application.Is there any way to reduce this time in stm32 USB applications.This function is after a USB connection. Is there any way to remove this delays in USB_ResetPort funciton.HAL_StatusTypeDef USB_ResetPort(USB_OTG_GlobalTypeDef *USBx) { uint32_t USBx_BASE = (uint32_t)USBx;   __IO uint32_t hprt0 = 0U;   hprt0 = USBx_HPRT0;   hprt0 &= ~(USB_OTG_HPRT_PENA | USB_OTG_HPRT_PCDET | USB_OTG_HPRT_PENCHNG | USB_OTG_HPRT_POCCHNG);   USBx_HPRT0 = (USB_OTG_HPRT_PRST | hprt0); HAL_Delay(100U); /* See Note #1 */ USBx_HPRT0 = ((~USB_OTG_HPRT_PRST) & hprt0); HAL_Delay(10U);   return HAL_OK; } #[STM32 MCUs]  #USB

Hi!I'm using the LaunchPad CC2642R1/CC2652R1 with the accelerometer LIS2DH and i tested the "who am i" (0x33) register to validate the protocol but when i tried read another register i had the same response that "who am i" (0x33) register. Could you help me with this problem or give me some ideas to solve it?How can i set up the accelerometer? I can't read any register other than who am i (this register is shows in each reading).Thank you in advance.Best regards,Tania

Hi, I'm trying to run a USB host mass storage on an STM32F750. After building the project in STM32Cube V 1.11.0 I have in "usb_host.c" after the line" Appli_state = APPLICATION_READY;" the code "res = f_mount(&USBHFatFS, USBHPath, 1);" written, but "res" was always "FR_DISK_ERR". I had tested this way in Nucleo-H723 and seen that it worked. I decided to test with another Stm32Cube version. I had the same problem with version 1.9 but with version 1.8 it works without problems. Is this a HAL_Library issue and is there a way to solve it?I defined my project in version 1.11.0 and prefer to continue developing it with this version.

Hi all,I am developing an application using bare TCP and UDP connections.Since the new HAL implementation now uses custom PBuf allocation for Rx memories, I thought about killing the PBUF_POOL since it does not seem to be used anymore now.I started by testing my application with statistics enabled and indeed, the usage count of memp_stats_PBUF_POOL stayed at zero all the time.Setting PBUF_POOL_SIZE to 0 reduced my RAM usage as expected and the application is still running normally.Am I missing anything here? Are you guys aware of some pitfall I did not see or do you think I am safe so far?

From RM0456-stm32u575585.... Flash section 7.3.8:"... up to256 Kbytes (32 pages) per bank feature an increased endurance of 100 kcycles, that can be used for data storage that usually needs more intensive cycling capability than codestorage. Any Flash page can be chosen to be cycled more than 10 000 times (up to 100 000 times). It is the application responsibility to limit the size of the Flash area cycled more than 10 000 times to 256 Kbytes per bank."Perfect, 100k cycles is good for our use-case...But I've been unable to find any registers, or any other documentation/notes/etc, that explain how to enable this, or how to select it, or really anything explaining it at all.So.. How does this work? And how do I enable this?

Sorry for the I'm too stupid to figure this out myself question, but couldn't figure out how to do this myself. In CubeMX Pinout & Configuration under software packs, I can install MEMS support, add a LSM6DSO (and required support elements) using i2c. In the Software Packages I can configure the mems and the LSM6DSO (including the SD0/AD0 pin for LSB of the address). But, how does one add a second LSM6DSO to the project? Configuring the second slave address looks easy enough, but I need a second sensor instance first. Do I have to manually replicate the generated code used to create the first instance or is there some built-in way to "give me another i2c device with this configuration" option?

We are migrating from LSM6DSR to LSM6DSOX. In LSM6DSR the nominal timestamp resolution used to be around 25 μs. And we used to get 52 samples/sec from the FIFO.However, in LSM6DSOX with a similar setting, we are getting a resolution of around 18 μs. And hence sample has gone up to 72. What should changes be made to get similar samples as LSM6DSR

Could you kindly share any reference schematics for SPI EEPROM M95P32-I interfacing with STM32 MCU preferably STM32U585?

Hello,I am looking to use the LTDC (LCD-TFT) feature to interface with a TFT display and potential touch controllers (CTP). I am uncertain on the requirements to interface with it and wanted to confirm a few details.I have written software (generated by TouchGFX) that works with the STM32H7B3I-EVAL evaluation board. It utilizes a Rocktech display (RK070ER9427-CT). For our application, we want to use Rocktech as well, but just a smaller screen. Therefore, we are using their RK043FN66HS-CTG. The only mentioned difference is that the 9427 utilizes a different touch controller than the 66HS, so a new driver for that will have to be written. That I understand. I also understand that the pinout is different between the two displays, but they both still have the common pins (R0-7, G0-7, B0-7, HSYNC, VSYNC, DE, CLK).What I am unsure of is if there's a "LCD-TFT" driver that's device specific. For example, if I have a firmware working with the 9427, then change the resolution in the LTDC configu

Hi,I am wondering if it is possible to internally connect two GPIO pins by software, not using wires.Thank you

Hello communityI'm having issues with the STEVAL - MKI109V3 board and the Unico GUI. There is no driver identified for the board. I've tried installing the driver for Windows 8, which gets identified but when I try to open Unico GUI, I get an error message stating that it can't connect to the board, and the program closes. After some investigation there are more people that have had this issue, but I have not found a solution that works for me. Has anybody had experience with this and found a solution?
