I am using STM32H735AGI6 on a custom board with an KLM8G1GETF eMMC I am reading JEDEC Standard No. 84-B451I want to start reading counter: std says "The counter read sequence is initiated by Write Multiple Block command, CMD25. Prior to CMD25, the block count is set to 1 by CMD23"Prob 1: There is only 1 block to write but in HAL_MMC_WriteBlocks_DMA I find if (NumberOfBlocks > 1U){ hmmc->Context = (MMC_CONTEXT_WRITE_MULTIPLE_BLOCK | MMC_CONTEXT_DMA); /* Write Multi Block command */ errorstate = SDMMC_CmdWriteMultiBlock(hmmc->Instance, add);}else{ hmmc->Context = (MMC_CONTEXT_WRITE_SINGLE_BLOCK | MMC_CONTEXT_DMA); /* Write Single Block command */ errorstate = SDMMC_CmdWriteSingleBlock(hmmc->Instance, add);}so it will send "write single block"Prob 2: As you can see, before SDMMC_CmdWriteMultiBlock, it does not send CMD23.Moreover, if you search for SDMMC_CMD_SET_BLOCK_COUNT (aka CMD23), you find only the #defineCan you help me?

Hi I'm working since a couple of days with TouchGFX and a custom SPI-Display.Until here everything works fine. Even togheter with an RTOS.Now I would like to customize some sliders, progress bars and Icons. For me the most important question is, how to create a progress bar with a triangle look.Is there a kind of an example?Or generally how I must proceed to build such custom specific elements? Thanks in advanceGreetings Urs

Hello, I am trying to send ADC data (12 bit) to pc with USB as fast as possible. Now I am using STM32F405 and configured ADC like picture below. Those data of ADC is transfered to the pc by interrupt of DMA which is cirucular mode. And the data transfer rate is around 10k bps. Is this reasonable value? Is there better way to transfer faster than this ?

Hello,I am looking for a "power multiplexer", basically 2 or 3 MOSFETs as ORing diodes on one chip.TI has something like that (TPS2121), and although ST has a lot of power switches, MOSFETs etc in their portfolio, I don't find anything like that. (And TI has annoyed me to a large extent over the last 3 years...)I'm working on a device with 3 power sources, from 4.5V to 15V DC with up to 2A which need to be switched. There are space and power restraints, so multiple MOSFETs and schottky diodes are no option.Any ideas?

Could someone point me to some documentation about how to control the oversampling for ADC1 and ADC2 for the STM32MP157C?    Using OpenSTLinux 4.1.0, buildroot.   I looked around but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I came across the term in the user manual of L4P5 series that shadow register, auto preload register and auto reload register in timer operationwhat is the difference between three of them?

Hi all,I would like to send sensortile.box data over BLE to my application, what is the best project from which I should start?

Hello,I checked but I didn't find any information, is there a TouchGFX roadmap available somewhere ?Regard,NME

The two buttons next to the STM32H735 I bought fell off during the shipping process. Will this have a great impact on the use?

Hello,I am working on Nucleo-H745ZIQ board. The changed the operating frequency of the board through clock congifuration (CubeMx) to 480 MHz for M7 and 240 MHz for M4.I changed RCC à supply source à changed to PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLYJumper J2 changed to VIN.VIN pin of the board connected to external 9 V supply. When I load the program, it is showing no target found. Then I reset the core using STM32Cube programmer and tried to reload the code, it is showing same error. After reset, I changed the board frequency to default (75 MHz) and RCC à supply source à Internal power supply. Board was programmed with same code, it is running okay. External supply removed. Can anyone help me to figure out what’s wrong I am doing? Regards,Nikhil

Hello,I want to use Nucleo-H745ZIQ board with operating clock at 480 MHz for M7 and 240 MHz for M4. Below is the clock configuration.Under RCC, options are either PWR_LDO or PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY selection enabled. Voltage scale as Power Regulator Voltage Scale 0. Jumper settings on board is as follows.External supply given is +9 V to VIN. While loading the code in the controller, I received error as No STM32 target found. I reset the core with STM32Cube Programmer, and found board working again. But as soon as I repeat the above procedure to load the code with maximum clock selection, I got the same error. Then I cut down the operating speed to 75 MHz for M7 and 60 MHz for M4 and selected Internal power supply and programmed again. Found working okay. Can anyone let me know what wrong is going while I am trying to load the board with M7-480 MHz and M4-240 MHz?Is there any wrong selection of parameters or something else. Regards,Nikhil

Hi,I am using STM32L4R7VIT which is having OSPI interface and I have connected M9501 Memory which is the single SPI mode memory. I found no example in cube repository or in any post in community which interacted with this issue.Regards,VK Verma

I am considering STM32F042 in a new product design to provide USB RNDIS interface to the product.Looking at manufacturing options to program the STM32F042 device, I would prefer to use the USB port rather than adding a debug header to the design for SWD.I can see that STM32Cube is the recommended method to program via USB DFU. I can also see that there was a command line utility DfuSe, which is no longer recommended.I would prefer a command line utility rather than have production technician operating the STM32Cube IDE which is relatively slow and has a higher risk of error. Is a command line utility available for this type of application? If there is no utility, is it possible to publish the DFU protocol so that we can develop our own programmer as part of the production test process? Thanks,

Hello!I've recently started playing around with my new steval-spin3202 board. I've run into an issue, where the power MOSFETs of the inverter seem to not work.Firstly, I've left the hardware configuration default, so it is set up for six-step sensor-less control. I'm using the STM32CubeMX (version 6.8.1) to generate the HAL code. The chosen MCU is STM32F031C6Tx.Regarding power, I'm measuring 20V across the J1 connector, 5V on TP5 and 3.3V on TP14. I have not connected the motor yet, so the J3 connector is empty.I've tried to isolate the problem as much as possible to make sure I am making no mistake in the code. My idea of testing is that I open the Q4 MOSFET by setting the GPIO output to high (thus connecting it to the shunt resistor R26+R27), and starting the PWM output on channel 1 (Which should be the Q1 MOSFET) at 20KHz with 83%duty-cycle. I believe I should be able to measure some voltage between TP7 and TP11. There is, however, no voltage between any 2 phases.Things I am certain

Hi All,I've succesfully implemented an HTTP WebServer into our application running AzureRTOS on a STM32F429.I'm now moving to data transfer over HTTP, in order to have a Web page (entry point) for transfering a binary file (encrypted) to remote update the board on the field. The flow is something as follow:Web Page -> load file (encrypted) -> save file payload in binary on ext flash (in raw, no FS).Then issue a reboot (bootlaoder will read the file & calculate the crc) and then flash the MCU if everything match. In order to transfer correctly the file i had to enable NX_HTTP_MULTIPART_ENABLE , but i was wondering if there's a good point to start with some example (docs are not so exaustive).Right now for receving the file i do : UCHAR buffer[1440] = { 0 }; if ( strcmp(resource, "/upload.php") == 0 && request_type == NX_WEB_HTTP_SERVER_POST_REQUEST ) { ULONG len = 0; ULONG offset = 0; fwu_start(); while( nx_web_http_server_get_entity_header(server_

Hi.I started to play with STM32MP1 micros and have a problem. How can I add so libraries not having "normal" linux tools? I wrote a simple GTK app and I am missing libpcreposix.so.0

I am trying to work ADC Module. I was hoping to use Internal Reference Voltage of 2.5V for ADC Reference Valve. STM32G070RB does have VREF+ Pin on Pin Number 7. But there is no way to Configure VREFBUF to scale voltage around 2.5V. Cube MX Does not have any option to do so, nor that can be does via code. In generated code VREFBUF flag is not defines and so its functions, like  #if defined(VREFBUF) --- NOT Defined HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_SYSCFG_EnableVREFBUF(void) --- Can not be Used are disabled and con not be used. STM32G070RB is on my custom board with LQFP64 Package. It does support VREFBUF as per datasheet but can not find any way to do so in Cube MX or in IDE. Please suggest how can I achieve this.

I'm using STM32F7xx for my project where I use VS Code text editor in combination with CMake project build. I also use CubeMX for code generation. When I generate code using STM32CubeIDE template, the 'syscalls.c' file is generated. It provides the following declaration: extern int __io_putchar(int ch) __attribute__((weak)); If I provide '__io_putchar()' definition in my 'main.cpp' file nothing happens after using 'printf()'. However, if I provide '__io_putchar()' function definition inside of 'syscalls.c' then 'printf()' operates as should and I get output stream printed out on terminal. extern int __io_putchar(int ch) __attribute__((weak)); int __io_putchar(int ch) { HAL_UART_Transmit(UART_GetHuart3(), (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, 0xFFFF); return ch; } I have tried several other methods of 'printf()' retarget, like retargeting '_write' or 'fputc', however nothing really works besides providing function definition inside of 'syscalls.c'. And the problem of provid

Hi ST community!I'm a liltle confused about how to read the UNIQUE ID from memory NOR W25Qxx. In my case a use the W25Q128 - https://www.winbond.com/hq/product/code-storage-flash-memory/serial-nor-flash/?__locale=en&partNo=W25Q128JVWe already use this memory in another custom boards. We able to flash, create external loaders and use it with touchgfx. This custom board has a STM32H753.I want to understand the correct way to read this instruction UNIQUE ID (4Bh). To get this value, the datasheet says after the INSTRUCTION (4Bh) I need to add 4 bytes of DUMMY clock (32 clocks). After this, I will able to receive the 64 bits from the UNIQUE ID.I'm a little confused about my tests and would like some help from the community to know if some of the two paths I show below are correct or none of them haha1) My first try was using the code below, but I always get corrupt data.- I put the max dummy cycles allowed (31). Check it on the HAL lib and reference manual.- read 8 bytes (64 bits fr

I recently bought the STM32 Nucleo-144 development board with STM32F429ZI MCU. The board is working pretty well. Actually, I am using this board with the Arduino IDE. Now I need to send the data serially from the Huskylens(An Easy to use AI camera) to the STM32F429ZI using the Arduino IDE. So my first question is, is it possible to send data between this device? If it's possible, which pin on the STM32 board should I use as RX and TX pins or it has more than one hardware serialMeanwhile, I am new to the ecosystem please help me!

HiWe are using the the ST library calculates LoRa SNR and RSSI by capturing the readings in register "REG_LR_PKTRSSIVALUE" although there is another register called "REG_LR_RSSIVALUE".I failed to figure out the difference in contents of those 2 registers.Any clue ?thanks

I am using stm32f334. it has hrtim timers. based on its manual it also has HRTIM_SCIN. but I don't know where should I find its setting in the CubeMX to activate it

My old projects are in 5.4.4 SDK Version. So I need the 5.4.4 version download link. So please share the link to download.Regards,Nishanth M
