Solved

Hi Everyone!I just started my first STM32F4 project and I was wondering if there is an IDE that can show the content of a range of memory in form of a data plot.I tried to find someting on the web but had no luck so far. This means for debug I am currently sending data in 8bit blocks via the serial port to the PC. Stitch it back together and plot it in Octave/Matlab.Is there an easier way, ideally in the IDE? I am using AC6 at the moment.

I am using stm32F205vet6 , I want to use multiple timers and work, But if I use multiple timers the code will be huge as every timer need internalization is there any alternative I can use timers with minimal codeI have also tried the hw_rtc.c file and timerServer.c file implementation ,In that scenario stm32f205vet6  has no sub seconds option I have hw_rtc.c file with subseconds so I cant able to use that method Please help me solve this issue.

I used LSM6DSV16BX for bone conduction detection. Based on the sample code and driver provided on github, everything related to the I2C works fine. But when it comes to the TDM part, I can not get any valid data from the tdm port.my platform is esp32 s3 with esp idf framework, which support the tdm reading generally. And i use the code just like reading the data from multiple microphones with TDM in this project. It does not work ( or look like a sound wave). The tdm port gives the steady wave-like data but have nothing to do with the sound)Is there any sample code about how to read/decode the tdm data from this module? and what is the correct data looks like?

Dear All,I am using the X-CUBE-SPN5 with the EWARM toolchain (F302R8 with IHM05A1) to control a stepper motor. For now, I can move the motor to a specific angle. Now, I would like to transmit the target angle by Python. I have a USB to TTL Serial Cable. I would thus like to program the serial communication. Can I use for example the UART provided functions by SPN7 and use it in the project derivated from SPN5? Tanks in advance for your help ! :)

Hello Everyone,I'm having issues with the EVAL6480H making a bipolar stepper motor spin faster than 800steps/s without losing steps or triggering the OCD. The current motor driver we use handles 1500steps/s at the same voltage and current specs with ease so I'm a bit surprised to be having this issue with a driver that is much more capable on paper. My set up:STEVAL-PCC009V2 connected to the computer with a USB-A to USB-mini B cable and connected to the EVAL6480H with the included 10pin IDC ribbon cable.EVAL6480H supplied by bench power supply set to 24V and 2.8A max.Bipolar stepper motor (NEMA23 x 56mm, 1.8 degrees/step, 3.2V, 2.8A) connected to the output of EVAL6480H, OUTA to phase A and OUTB to phase B.Using the SPINFamily Evaluation Software to configure and control the EVAL6480H. I've also purchased the ST-Link/v2-Isol tool and updated the firmware on the STEVAL-PCC009V2 to v2.7.What I've tried:I've tried going through all the configurations for the L6480H chip that the SPINFamily

I use the STM32F103C4 and STM32F030F4 chip. I design a card with these chips. How I can programmable these chips? If I add SWDIO, SWCLK, +3.3V, and GND pins to the card as a male header, Can I connect the ST-LINK v3 to these pins and program it directly? I added a photo of the design diagram. Or should I add boot0 and boot1 pins like on the STM32F103 card?First photo ----- STM32F0Second photo -------STM32F1

Hello,I'm searching for a way to use sector 0 as storage memory but no luck so far.I'm using STM32F401CCU6 and I'm working on a firmware which have to save about 300 bytes in a no volatile memory. For this microcontroller family we have this memory map:Sector   -  Address ini    ~ Address end   - SizeSector 0 - 0x0800 0000 ~ 0x0800 3FFF - 16 KbytesSector 1 - 0x0800 4000 ~ 0x0800 7FFF - 16 KbytesSector 2 - 0x0800 8000 ~ 0x0800 BFFF - 16 KbytesSector 3 - 0x0800 C000 ~ 0x0800 FFFF - 16 KbytesSector 4 - 0x0801 0000 ~ 0x0801 FFFF - 64 KbytesSector 5 - 0x0802 0000 ~ 0x0803 FFFF - 128 KbytesSector 6 - 0x0804 0000 ~ 0x0805 FFFF - 128 KbytesSector 7 - 0x0806 0000 ~ 0x0807 FFFF - 128 KbytesSo far I already used a little bit more then 66kB, which means, my firmware is using sectors 0 to 4 and increasing.Now, I'm already saving the data in flash memory, all good for the sector 5 using HAL. But it's only 500 bytes in a block of 128Kbytes, it's a waste of memo

Can the antenna of this board be led out for measurement? How do I lead out the line for measurement? If not do I need to rebuild the board?

Hello.  I try to develop a FW which should include USBPD SOURCE and USB HID device. My current dev kit -is SRC1M1 + MB1360-G0B1RE. The USB PD functionality was added in accordance with Stm32 wiki link for PD Source device - it is tested and OK. After that USB HID device was added with Cube configuration: enable USB_DRD_FS as a device_fs; check Interrupts enabling; enable USB support into USBPD middleware; configure USB_DEVICE middleware;    After that project was compiled and flashed. A Type-C cable is connected to the laptop with Windows 10 and HID device was not detected.   Next try was to connect MB1360-G0B1RE to MB1303B (only USB2.0 data lines, 3.3V and GND), because P-NUCLEO-USB002 kit has never had this issue with USB and Cube code .    This setup is working for USB2.0 - HID device is detected over Type-C. I checked a schematics for both boards(MB1303B and SRC1M1) - it looks like that USB2.0 lines are independent from any other lin

Using SPC572 GTM for ecu, what is the best way to stop ATOM output in critical fault?Already tried to stop the GTM, but on re initialize the result is unpredictable.

I’m trying to find a replacement for this device from a light dimmer. I think it’s a triac, but the numbers on the front don’t match any search results, other than a similar request on this forum, so I’m hoping that someone can help!

hi, I'm using a discovery stm32f429 together with the STM32CubeIDEI would like to know why when I use while to wait for the mailbox:while (HAL_CAN_GetTxMailboxesFreeLevel(&hcan1) != 3){// Wait until all transmission buffers are free}the debug does not work and gives an error:Failed to assign value 8000c69, to register 0Failed to assign value 20000028, to register 0Failed to assign value 2002fff8, to register 0Failed to assign value 80011d4, to register 0If I use the command HAL_CAN_GetTxMailboxesFreeLevel it works normally or if I use RUN it works normally on the board, but I would like it to work in debug to see some information through the STM32CubeIDE

Hi,We are starting a LoRaWAN project here at the company and we are going to use the LSM110A module that has the STM32WLE5CC.I would like to know if you have a LoRaWAN stack for this ARM processor (STM32WLE5CC), or a video demonstrating how to start the project with the STM32Cube IDE?Thank you!Regards,Tiago Fernandes

Dear Sir,     I am trying to read the distance from the VL53Lox i can read upto 400mm , when i try to measure more the 400mm it is not reading proper reading. Please guide

Hello all.Another question regarding SBSFU, this time 1 image version. When we download new image via YMODEM, when does decryption process happen?1. Is new image first downloaded into active image slot and then decrypted?2. Is new image downloaded and decrypted at the same time, which is basically decryption on the fly, but that requires special hardware accelerator? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I hope you are well.I had a query about the IMU ASM330LHH. I want to know whether the self-test functions of the internal accelerometer and gyroscope (see attached pictures) test the internal MEMS sensors or not. I have doubts whether these self-tests only internally generate standard values for acceleration and angular velocity without actually testing the MEMS.Thank you very much.

Hi,I'm running the latest release 6.9.2 of STM32CubeMx with admin rights. When I'm going into the install/remove packages and scroll down to the X-CUBE-TOUCHGFX package, the latest release 4.22.1 does not appear, even after a press on "Refresh" button.I exited STM32CubeMx, retried: same result. The latest package version does not appear. In the end I downloaded the latest package from ST's website.I guess this is abnormal, no?Any hint?

Hi there!I was wondering, for a school project, if it is possible to disable te autocalibration on the VL53L5CX and if it would be possible to manually calibrate it?Thanks!

Hello, does Android phone can serve as the NFC reader and support Fast Transfer Mode(FTM) in this diagram? If yes, what is the speed? Is FTM unique to ST NFC tag products? Thanks!

Hi, I just got the nucleo stm32G474RE board and I'm trying to run a simple code with the STM32CubeIDE through Linux ubuntu 22.04 the problem is that my laptop seems to not recognize the board when I am connecting it via USB port literally nothing happens. There is no new window that appear in my computer telling me that a new usb device is connected I know I have the ST-Link drivers already installed since when I'm trying with my nucleo stm32F446RE board everything works fine. I would appreciate if you could helpThank you

The problem you are experiencing with your STM32F407IGT6 board is that after programming the firmware and using Ethernet (UDP) communication, if you power it off and then back on, the Ethernet communication doesn't work. However, if you press the Reset button, Ethernet communication becomes operational again. Do you happen to know the reason for this?

HiEarlier today I was demonstrating a IAP functionallity with dualbanking on a stm32G474RET. I was saying that it cannot fail as I check the written image with a CRC after it has been written to the new bank.As I power of the system mid transfer and power it up again, I experience the what we now all expect. It obviously failed. My system no longer boots normally and as i start to debug it i see that i get a NMI. Now, I unfortunately did not record all the relevant register values, but i am pretty sure that what was set was FLASH_ECCR, bit ECCD. I know this because i see that the NMI trigger as i am doing a boot blank check and CRC on both my banks and the NMI triggers while i am reading from the bank i was writing to.I have now written a suitable NMI handler to deal with this situation in the future, but how can I intentionally force a double ECC error in a given address in flash?Best regardsMartin
