Hi,I am sending/receiving data using UART between STM32G4 board and other board. While I am sending the data I am adding the CRC and transmitting it through UART to other board. While receiving how do I check the CRC correct or not.For Eg: From other board to my STM32G4 board I recivedata frame is as belowheader Length Command Data CRC EOF 0x320x05 0x17 0x00/0x01/0x02 0x89 how do I check the CRC is correct or not in the coding?Do I need to calculate crc for all 3 possible data values and compare the possible crc with received crc?is this correct way. Can anyone suggest how to check the CRC.Thanks

I'm configuring STM32H735VGH MCU  for communicating by USB_OTG full speed, Device mode and want to power it by VBUS.Suggest me best whether power distribution switch is required or not ?

I am setting up I2C communication between a master board (STM32H753I-EVAL2) and a slave board (NUCLEO-H753ZI). At the master board side, I use "HAL_I2C_Master_Seq_Transmit_IT(&hi2c1, 96<<1, (uint8_t*)gTxBuffer, 4, I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME)" to start the transmit, and set up "HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef *I2cHandle)" to handle transmit complete interrupt. At the slave board side, I use "HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_IT(&hi2c2, (uint8_t*) gTxBuffer, 4, I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME)" to set up the receive interrupt as soon as "HAL_I2C_AddrCallback" ISR handle is called. The problem is "HAL_I2C_SlaveRxCpltCallback" is not called. At the master board side, "HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef *I2cHandle)" is called once the 4 bytes transmit completes. But the "HAL_I2C_SlaveRxCpltCallback" never gets called at the slave board. I step into the HAL code, found out that when "I2C_ITSlaveCplt" is called, I2C state is still HAL_I2C_STATE_BUS

I am Using ST25DV04KC-IE8C3 In My Project as NFC Tags and Readers as well as Energy Harvesting. In Our Project, we are using  STM32L4A6VGT6 as the main MCU so, can we use energy harvesting and operate STM32L4A6VGT6 with other peripherals like reading a External flash, etc ???

Hi, I tried on Window and Ubuntu, both compile give me error : error: unknown type name 'caddr_t'Any config in the IDE that fix that error?

Hi all, I have encountered a problem where the debug would stop working as soon as the program hits the line where TIM15's update interrupt is enabled. From there the program appears to be still running but would not stop at any breakpoints and live expressions would show zeros and blanks as well. The line(s) after which debug would stop working: LL_TIM_EnableIT_UPDATE(TIM15); //Debug stops working after this line LL_TIM_EnableCounter(TIM15); TIM15 is set to have a period of around 7.2kHz, with initialization code as below:  LL_TIM_Init(TIM15, &PHtimer); //LL_TIM_DisableARRPreload(TIM15); LL_TIM_SetOnePulseMode(TIM15, LL_TIM_ONEPULSEMODE_REPETITIVE); LL_TIM_SetUpdateSource(TIM15, LL_TIM_UPDATESOURCE_COUNTER); NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM1_BRK_TIM15_IRQn);  Please let me know of your insights on why this problem would occur, thank you!Zhi

Hi Zied,After waiting patiently for MCSDK 6.2.0, I was overjoyed when it was finally released. However, I could not get the motor profiler to communicate with my board. It seems to require a proper firmware to be downloaded before it can run. It does not allow me to select the correct boards even after the uart connection is done (although it instructed to "try to configure the board"). see attached screen grab.[VERSION]: MCSDK 6.2.0[TOOL]: Motor PROFILER v1.2.4[DETAILS]: Not able to choose any control nor power board[EXPECTED BEHAVIOR]: I could usually be able to select the boards and enter into "Start Profile"I saw from other posting, your suggestion to download .hex into the board first and so I had tried to use  NUCLEO-F302R8#X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 3Sh#(6.1.2).hex from the MCSDK 6.2.0 folder. Once connected, it shows the boards, but I want to use CTM009v1, not IHM08M1. So, that is a problem. See attached 2nd screen grab.Thirdly, I had also used the Workbench 6.2.0 to create a new pro

Hi,I used a F105RCT6 in a custom board, i want to use the DFU mod. When I generate the project with cubemx I select USB DEVICE and DFU mid, i change the clock configuration corectly. I generate the FW, and i flash him.The DFU is running, i open cubeprogrammer, i can read the mcu but i can't flash him... or i flash but the fw is don't running, i'm don't understand... For me, just the dowload is block.Help me :)

I'm working on hardware design and have some doubts regarding selecting the tolerance value for the decoupling capacitor for stm32l4 series I have read the application note and data sheet I could not find the value for tolerance.so how can I find the tolerance value for a particular processor?

STM32F411. Line 2693:   srcclk = __HAL_RCC_GET_I2S_SOURCE();That macro calls "READ_BIT" on the I2SSRC register bit.It does NOT shift it right 23U.The function then compares this to 0 or 1.FAIL.Result. I2S cannot be configured to use an external clock source in HAL.While you are in there there is a bug with the library always initing that register to PLL clocks, regardless of config.Did someone do a merge fart?

I've got a simple model like this in ONNX: I set HCLK@216MHz and ran "Inference on target" using Nucleo-f767zi board with X-Cube-AI 8.1.0I got these useful information:1) duration : 0.017ms (17us) by sample (200 samples, I got a similar result (21us) by a single sample validation)2) cycles/MACC : 10.41 However, when I generated the code, edited the code likeI built the project using X-Cube IDE 1.13.2. I got this:duration: 8us / sample （prescaler set to 216）Why is it significantly faster than that from the default "validate on target" button?1) Why, in the same system configuration in the .ioc file, I got as much as x10 latency using this method?2) Why, in contrast to the average 6-Cycle/MACC for Cortex-M7 in the manual handling float32 data, I got >10Cycle/MACC using Nucleo-F767zi@216MHz?3) Why even a single dense layer using "validate on target" could generate a latency mounted to 8us, a large enough number that could match the mentioned bulit C project? Is

Hi everyone,I'm currently experimenting with a STM32H573i-DK and TrustZone and facing some issues.First I tried enabling TrustZone in the Project Creation Process. I have a mature project utilizing the STM32L4R5xxx series. The main function uses uC's ADC over about 15 channels. As a rule, the ADC readings are taken at a slow rate -- some triggered every 100 ms, others triggered every 5 seconds, and other triggered every minute.By and large the readings we get look good. However, our error rates are a little higher than we'd like. While deep reviewing everything about the project, from circuit diagrams, to chip datasheets, firmware implementation, HAL libraries, and the uC documents, we discovered that the STM32L4Rxxx errata (en.DM00371862-STM32L4_errata.pdf) mentions this under 2.10.6:-----Wrong ADC result if conversion done late after calibration or previous conversion Description The result of an ADC conversion done more than 1 ms later than the previous ADC conversion or ADC calibration might be incorrect. Workaround Perform two consecutive ADC conversions in single, scan or continuous mode. Reject the result of the first conversion and only k

I have some following up questions after my last post: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/lsm303dlhc-c/m-p/597950#M224881. I now have a code that does not give any errors. with the librarys in the picture below. But when i run the code and call for: BSP_accelero_init(); it returns a 1, this means that the sensor is not found. according to the library the I2C adresses are 32 and 3C, but when i do a I2C scanner on my arduino it says this should be 18 and 1E. After trying those adresses it still does not work. Could enyone help me with this?

Hi all.I have been working with STM32WB for over a year and now starting up to use zigbee.Been trying the examples and digging deep into the internet on how to send values from a STM32WB that acts an temperature sensor. Not much info on ST & zigbee.I can make it show up in the coordinator, but I have not been able to register it as a temperature sensor and send values. Most of the examples show how to handle OnOff toggle, and its not really clear on how to set it up to send values. Also to set up multiple values to be able to send multiple sensor types. If anyone have an example or just like to copy a few lines of how you did it, would help tremendous. Many big thanks beforehand // Mike

Here's what eDesignSuite shows for a Boost DC/DC converter. The L7981 is a Buck converter so I don't understand the given results. Please anyone could clarify this? gaston

Hi all,I am using FileX with my Nucleo-U575ZI-Q, and I want to be able to open multiple files at the same time. Now every time I try to do this, the first file opens fine no problems but when I try to open another file (without closing the first) I get the error - FX_NOT_FOUND.When I use FATFS there is an option in the IOC to increase the number of files allowed open (FS_LOCK). But with FileX I cannot seem to find anything in the IOC or in the headers files. Also Google is not useful at all for any FileX related information, its very sparse! Thanks!

Hello,is there a solution to generate duty cycles between 0...100% with the HRTIM? I tried up-counting mode and center-aligned mode, but I wasn't able to achieve it. RegardsDominik Schmid

Picture 1 SDK 6picture 2 SDK 5.4.8 Hello,I want to drive a BLDC motor via IHM16M1 with the newly purchased nucleo-stm32f103rb board. But the control cart is not here. Old version SDKs are also available as XML files(f103rb). SDK 6 introduced the .json extension. And it can't generate code in older SDK versions. Can anyone help me drive the motor?

Hi,Currently I am using STM32L4R9 discovery board, which has 16-Mbit (2MB) PSRAM. I have been able to allocate static memory inside PSRAM by using following code and also by changing linker script file (.ld). I have attached my edited linker script with this post.int __attribute__((section (".psram_data"))) psram_buffer[50000]; for(int i=0; i<50000; i++) { psram_memory[i] = i; }But, how can I dynamically allocate memory by using malloc() / calloc() inside PSRAM. If possible, please share some example code with me.Thank you.

In the __weak int16_t STC_CalcTorqueReference(SpeednTorqCtrl_Handle_t *pHandle) function The original ST code contains the below line code.hMeasuredSpeed = SPD_GetAvrgMecSpeedUnit(pHandle->SPD);hError = hTargetSpeed - hMeasuredSpeed;hTorqueReference = PI_Controller(pHandle->PISpeed, (int32_t)hError);I modified the first line of code tohMeasuredSpeed = -SPD_GetAvrgMecSpeedUnit(pHandle->SPD); i put a negative sign before the function. This i have done since the error was never going to 0. Is it correct or i need to remove the negative sign? I have start up issues is it because of this?

Hi:When I move the object detected by the VL53L4CX, I find that there is a one cycle delay in the distance it returns. Is this because its first data is discarded?(Range status=6)？ Is there a way to improve this?Thankyou.Cyt

Hey, I want to see the 8x8 matrix in the VL53L8CX_GUI but when I try to connect it in the GUI the nucleo does not appear. But it appears by flash. In the device managment from my windows 11 I see the board is on COM8. (See screenshot)Do you guys have an idea?

Question: I have an example here that assign TRACE_IOEN and TRACE_MODE to sync 1 bit from the DBGMCU_CR register (Address: 0xE004 2004) by using this command: mmw 0xE0042004 0x00000060 0x000000c0. What the 0x000000c0 doing in the mmw command ? my basic understanding for mmw is this: mmw address setbits clearbitsThanksimage from reference manual of stm32f4:

In the latest CubeIDE (1.13.2) when configuring STM32H7x dual core devices if the RNG feature is enabled for both cores, the ioc file will get stuck next time the IDE will try to open it (after closing it first). When only one core is selected and the feature is activated there is no issue.
