Hi,I am looking for a delay function for  1 us, HAL_Delay provides 1 ms, is there one in HAL or somewhere else?RegardsChao

Hi, I am trying to use STM32F103C8T6 standby mode and wake it up with wake up feature of RTC, but in CubeMX I don't see that this MCU would have wake up feature under RTC settings. How do I wake up this MCU from standby with RTC and wake up pin?

"Hi,We are building hardware with the SPC58EG80E5 MCU. For debugging purposes, we plan to use the UDESTK-EVAL kit. However, on the product page, it states that it is "not recommended for new designs." What alternative options can we consider?"

Hi, I am using L9663, can you send me a driver code? Or a schematic diagram of the wiring

I noticed that STM32U5G9 MCUs are already available for purchase. That is, STM32U5G9J-DK1, STM32U5G9J-DK2 and several bare bone chips.1) In CubeMX those products are still marked as 'coming soon' but this is the least of the problems.2) The most simple CubeMX-generated project does not build. stm32u5xx.h file is missing, stm32u5g9xx.h file is nowhere to be found, Drivers\CMSIS\Device\ST\STM32U5xx\Include folder is empty. Am I missing something? Was STM32U5G9 CubeMX support ever tested? I used the latest HAL package 1.4, I believe STM32U5G9 support was added in version 1.3.3) Where do I find the detailed GPU2D documentation describing the details of the new vector graphics functionality? I was unable to find any details on GPU2D, even the one available in STM32U5A9 (no vector graphics) released a year ago. RM0456 section 45 Neo-Chrom graphic processor (GPU2D) counts only 3 (three) pages and looks more like a content placeholder. Is the curren

Hello everyone,I'm working on a project involving STM32's FMC specifically focusing on expanding memory capabilities. Given that each SDRAM bank (Bank 1 and Bank 2) can address up to 256 Mbit, I'm curious about the feasibility of integrating a single SDRAM chip with a larger capacity, specifically a 512Mbit chip with 13 address lines, such as the one detailed here: https://www.issi.com/WW/pdf/42-45R-S-32160F.pdfIs there a method or configuration within the STM32 FMC that would allow me to effectively use all of the 512Mbit SDRAM's capacity? or I have to use two 256Mbit SRAM with the individual clock and chip enable controls. Any insights or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a Nucleo WL55JC1 and I'm trying to run the SubGHz_Phy_PingPong example from STM32CubeWL v1.3.0. I am using STM32CubeIde and if I try to build without any modification to the original project the compiler outputs that stm32wlxx_nucleo_radio.h, stm32wlxx_nucleo_errno.h and stm32wlxx_nucleo.h files are missing and aborts. If I add those files and corresponding .c files everything compiles, but I can't manage to get any output on the serial port. The readme.txt file says that when the system boots two leds on the board should blink, but I can't get neither that. I tried some some debugging and I didn't get anything useful. What have I done wrong? May I have skipped some configuration or tweaking?

Hello Everyone, good day, Recently I have implemented RTC to my TouchGFX project for my Riverdi RVT70HSSFWCA0 STM32 Embedded Display that uses a STM32H757XIH6 Microcontroller. I have managed to get the time and date to show on the display, all is working well. Except that the RTC is only running when the power for my display is on even though I placed a battery at the back of my display (which is connected to the VBAT pin of the stm32) The battery has 3 V coming out so its not a battery problem. I do not know why it is not running while the power is off, can anyone help me with this? Do I have to write any code for the display to be able to use the battery? Please provide kind support, thank you best regards.

Hello,I am trying to connect b-cams-omv(ov5460) camera module into STM32F746G-DISCO board. However I can not find an official sample code examples.I downloaded FP-AI-VISION1_V3.1.0 SW package from ST web-page. When I unzipped it. it found in Drivers\BSP\Components\ov5640.c, but there is no a sample code example regarding STM32F746G-DISCO board. How can I get help?

I am wondering, if one only downloads MX, then how the software is built? Is the standard arm-eabi-none toolchain enough? Are in the standard toolchain all the needed include files and libs present? Or ST used its own version of the toolchain, libs, etc?

How do I solve this error? "Error: No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication"I use SWD. I made the cable for SWD communication. The cable is connecting ST-LINK V2 between board. Yesterday, well, was connected to STM32CubeProgrammer.But today it wasn't connected suddenly.....I did everything I could by exploring the STM32 community.Changed ST-LINK V2, the cable, reset mode, etc......I saw massage what "ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_CMD_ERR)" in hardware rest mode. But I don't solve this error. Please help me....

Hi, i was wondering if it is possible to make an exact copy of an existing STM32F405RGT6 and write to another. The use case for this is an open source motor controller (VESC). i have a fully functional board, and one that i have replaced the stm32 on due to it having an internal short. (Im not exactly sure what happened, the LDO was getting very hot and there was 5v on both Vin and Vout, removed LDO and Vin and Vout were shorted, removed stm32 and short went away. soldered in new LDO and STM32 and it now powers up). I can relfash it via SWD through VESC tool, which includes the firmware for some of the variations of hardware, using the functional board as the link between my computer and the new board by connecting the CLK,DIO and GND between the 2, but none are the right configuration. The company that sold these has been defunct for years, and i cannot find the firmware anywhere, so i was thinking if this was possible, this would be the easiest route. the alternative being reverse en

I am developing an application using TIM3 with Direct-mode capture compare to measure short pulse widths of 1 to 32 microsec. I am using a Nucleo H7A3ZI-Q board for development. The clock speed is 260 MHz. The Direct capture compare on Ch1 is set the pulse duration by triggering on both input pulse edges. My question is how much time jitter is there from when pulse arrives to the CC1 input till it is registered in CC1R register? I would guess one clock pulseis needed so the time-jitter would be one clock period. A timer resolution of one clock pulse is given in the specifications (Table 113). It is not clear to me if this also applies ot the capture compare input operation. This probably needs advice from somebody in STM who has inside knowledge on the timer circuit. Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm having trouble getting PWM output on my STM32F303. I'm using CubeMX for pin config, then generating for Make for use with VSCode on Ubuntu. TIM1_CH3 has been configured for PWM output on PC2, and TIM1_CH2 on PC1. CH2 works as expected, while CH3 seems dead as a doorknob other than picking up some noise from CH2. Same config for the two channels (could they even be different?), and I'm calling the starter functions as follows, shortly after the CubeMX-generated init function:   HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2);//MTR2 HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_3);//MTR2  Any reasons for this to be happening? I noticed quite a few people have a problem with TIM1_CH3, but they always seem to do the initialization themselves, which I figured MX would do for me.

Hi,I am using STM32CubeIDE to build project fro STM32H753 microcontroller.I am unaware why the STM32CubeIDE is updating the type of uint32_t to unsigned long.I assume for a 32 bit processor uint32_t should be typed to unsigned int.Where do I find declaration of __UINT32_TYPE__ ?/* Sample code to report issue */uint32_t my_id = "1234";sprintf( tmpstr, "Ser# %08X\r\n", my_id ); On compiling code I observe:../User_Code/File_Xxx.c:205:36: warning: format '%X' expects argument of type 'unsigned int', but argument 3 has type 'uint32_t' {aka 'long unsigned int'} [-Wformat=]205 | sprintf( tmpstr, "Ser# %08X\r\n", my_id );| ~~~^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~| | || | uint32_t {aka long unsigned int}| unsigned int| %08lXIs there a way I can instruct STM32CubeIDE to type case uint32_t to unsigned int.I also want to ensure that my change is not overwritten when I regenerate the code with help of IOC file. Regards,Rajeev

Hello everyone,In the schematics en.MB1389-WL55JC-highband-E02_Schematic,there's a Pi filter following the RF switch before it links to the SMA connector for the antenna.Upon calculation, I found that the cutoff frequency of this low-pass pi filter is approximately 1800 MHz, which is significantly higher than the 870 MHz of LoraWAN. Could someone clarify the intention behind including this section in the schematics?Ultimately, I intend to integrate a chip antenna onto the PCB and eliminate the SMA connector.Should I retain these filters, or do I need to adjust the values of the pi filter components?Thank you!

Hey there,I am trying to troubleshoot the following issue for quite some time now. I am working on an stm32mp157f based board attempting to enable a combination of stusb16xx and USB OTG . The behavior I am expecting to see is that when a usb device is connected to usbphyc_port1 (usb-c) it will get recognized in the same way as if it was on ehci but when a host device is connected to the same port I can trigger a gadget script in udev.rules. My current configuration works as expected for all gadget modes: typec: stusb1600@28 { compatible = "st,stusb1600"; reg = <0x28>; interrupts = <11 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_LOW>; interrupt-parent = <&gpioi>; vsys-supply = <&vdd_usb>; pinctrl-names = "default"; pinctrl-0 = <&stusb1600_pins_a>; status = "okay"; vdd-supply = <&vin>; typec_con: connector { compatible = "usb-c-connector"; label = "USB-C"; power-role = "dual"; data-role = "dual"; typec-power-opmode = "def

Hi there, I am working on an STM32MP157F-DK2 board and an STUSB1600 with hsotg gadget support and no PD controller. I am running a buildroot image with all the necessary drivers enabled including dwc2, SystemFS etc.  The gadget is working as expected in most configurations. It can be hotplugged and get recognised with a high-speed unique address without any issues on several computers running windows or linux with a usb-c to usb-c cable . Recently I attempted to connect the board to a series of apple computers to test compatibility. I faced several unexpected behaviours during these tests. Apple Macbooks (Intel) will have a 50-50 chance of recognising the DK board as a peripheral. The rest of the times the DK is recognised as a charger and the MBP will start charging Apple Macbooks (M1) will still have a 50-50 chance of recognising the DK board as a peripheral but the rest of the gadget will not get recognised at all. Apple Mac Mini (M2) will not get

My question might sound "strange" for HW experts. My STM32U5A5 MCU has DCache (16KByte). Datasheet says: used when external memory is connected (e.g. NAND/NOR flash, OCTOSPI).DCache is not used for internal memory (when running from MCU flash or internal SRAM, obvious: not needed, internal SRAM seems to be with same speed as MCU = no DCache needed). But: 16KByte of memory is provided in chip as DCache:How could I use this memory without any external memory device used, not connecting external memory?16KByte, provided as DCache, would give me an option to place the stack region on it (large enough). So, the "idea" is:There is not any external memory connected. But I enable DCache and I read/write via the intended base address (for external memory).I use the MPU and configure in a way, that this base address is a "write-through" regionI mean:if I could configure DCache and MPU so that the DCache is never evicted (not "cleaned", not writing to real external memory)and no need to "invalidate"

Where can I get demo of Ethernet and lwIP with Nucleo-F207ZG? Why can't i find Nucleo-F207ZG example in STM32cubemx6.01? Thanks.

hi st team/community .,AS i followed st youtube video for dynamic graph conversion from ADC ..where they used STM32h7b3 disc0 which has enough ram compared to mine(stm32f769 disc0)..i need to know which is simple way for doing it worked,, where i will ready for anything to do..(like reduce for resoution and size )..because.,this is testing only.,,where i need to do ECG waveform in display furture process..if i'm going to use ecg waveform from 12-lead.,then how should i do it in this board.,??should i use 12 separate dynamic graph...??STM32 Graphics: How to use the graph widget to display the ADC converted values, Part 2 (youtube.com)

Im using stm32h743zi2 microcontroller and , cortext M7 processor , so i need prescalar value and period values of TIM5 for 80milli sec . here im using main clock is 400Mhz and timer bus clock is 200Mhz . please can anyone suggest me a flexible solution. And give me the formulas for calculating the timers prescalar and period.

What I want to do is send Write Enable instruction to external Flash and erase. The environment is as follows.Use Board : nucleo l4r5ziIDE : Atollic TrueSTUDIO® for STM32, Built on Eclipse Neon.1a.(Version: 9.3.0)FLASH : W25Q64JVThe connection diagram of the board and FLASH is shown below.I want to send Write Enable instruction to 「W25Q64JV 2」.The registers are set as follows.●OCTOSPI●OCTOSPIMI send Write Enable instruction and then the Read Status instruction. 0 is always stored in the FIFO. (Of course I make sure the FTF is set before reading the data register)I assume that the setting on the microcontroller side is wrong because when I check IO5 with an oscilloscope, I get the expected waveform. For your information, when I set FSEL to 0 and communicated with 「W25Q64JV 1」 using IO0~IO3, the data was stored in the FIFO as expected. If there are any settings that are missing, I would like to know.

We recently launched a product on the STM32MP157C series to control iot devices. We're trying to do some R&D for matter and based on our testing should be at least testable on any system with a wifi chip. The trouble we are running into is there does not seem to be an easy way to integrate the [connecthomeip repo](https://github.com/project-chip/connectedhomeip) with the yocto build system for that chip.   I naively tried to [base a recipe off of a different chipset](https://github.com/nxp-imx/meta-matter/blob/master/recipes-matter/matter/matter.bb), but I keep running into cross compiling build issues.   Is anyone else trying to build any matter tools for the STM32MP1 and has any advice for acomplishing this in the yocto build system?
