Hello,    I can not login to ST website. I was trying to download the Unicleo-GUI. Each time I try, when I press on the "user" icon from the main st.com page, a "bad gateway" error message is shown. In the past I was able to login.  EDIT: A day after I can login again, maybe a momentary website problem. Thank you.

Hello,I've read several forum posts commenting on the STM32 HAL management of LWIP, particularly ethernetif.c and trying to understand the interrupt driven zero copy examples. For reference in my application I do not use RTOS.After updating cube, and comparing my previous project version (based on FW_F4 V1.26.2) that the ethernetif.c  file has changed quite significantly. I assume this is in reaction to feedback from users in forum posts such as this detailed post https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/how-to-make-ethernet-and-lwip-working-on-stm32/td-p/261456The above mentions drivers being reworked following V1.27. And comments on problems such as [in reworked drivers].Could someone comment on whether the ethernetif.c in FW_F4 V1.28 rectifies the problems and criticism's that have been previously discussed across the forum?Alternatively, if the ethernetif.c is still a poor implementation, is it possible to comment on what has not been addressed (specifical

Hi!I'm an EE designing a PCB. Referencing the datasheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32l412k8.pdfSection 7.4 on page 178, UFQFPN48, the Exposed Pad (EP) says that it should be connected to GND.Section 7.6 on page 184, UFQFPN32 (the chip that I'm using) the EP function isn't mentioned. Should I connect this to GND or leave it floating? My gut instinct is to connect it to GND, though has anyone had any experience with EPs and the ST standard way of dealing with them?Thank you for any assistance in advance.Pete.

I am curious about these parameters,I don`t konw where they are used. These are auto generated by following the official guide, but if I want to build a project with x-cube-ai and CubeMX my own and still use the model from model zoo, how shoul i deal with these two parameters.I dont`t see anything about this in code that auto generated by CubeMX with x-cube-ai.I just know the input of model is int8 as follow, but i see these two parameters in stm32ai-modelzoo official guideI am learning quantization, but still not familiar with it, shoul i do smething in my own project generated by CubeMX?I just give my model input image data [0:255] now and it works, but after reading the modelzoo guide I don`t know if it`s right.Thank you!!!!!

I am attempting to use the https://github.com/stm32-hotspot/stm32wb-matter-device-over-thread/ repo to connect a STM32WB5MMG-DK to an Amazon Alexa acting as a border router, using the Alexa app. The device always fails to connect, outputting the serial log that I have attached. I am using the recommended firmware (stm32wb5x_BLE_Thread_ForMatter_fw.bin)I have also been unable to commission using the CHIP-TOOL and Raspberry Pi 5 border router.

I'm using the tamper peripheral clocked from the LSE (32.768Khz crystal), triggered by a tamper event on PC13. The core is clocked from the HSI, using the PLL to run at 120MHz.The tamper peripheral seems to work fine under normal operation, but if an unmasked tamper event occurs during a breakpoint (paused in a debugger, or a semihosting printf for example), the core hardfaults. This sounds it could potentially be related to Errata 2.15.1 where the RTC peripheral has incorrect behaviour when the core is stopped in a breakpoint.I haven't tested them, but I think the RTC_Tamper examples in STM32CubeL4 should showcase this behaviour, but I'll include my code here for the avoidance of doubt: RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = { .OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_LSI | RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_LSE, .PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_NONE, .LSEState = RCC_LSE_ON_RTC_ONLY, .LSIState = RCC_LSI_OFF, }; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = { .PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_RTC,

Hi, The FCC test report can be found here: https://fccid.io/YCPNFC06A1/Test-Report/Test-Report-4494604.pdf.We are running X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 stack on top of NUCLEO-L476RG board with STM X-CUBE-NFC6 demo software, and the emission scan (at Intertek) is something like this (see below). We cannot replicate the same result in the above FCC report. On page 8 of the test report (EUT Radio Specifications), Transmitter Parameters section (b) lists many different modulation types. Then it says "A test mode allow to test all modulations at the same time".I am wondering if this means the test mode was running with a different firmware. We are running  X-CUBE-NFC6 software tools from https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/x-nucleo-nfc06a1.html#tools-software, and I do not think it allows testing all modulations at the same time.Modulation differences should lead to different emission peak levels. For example, in NFC type A, Miller encoding (delay encoding) is used with an

Hi ST team,I'm currently using the STM32F769-DISCO board for testing purposes with a 12-lead ECG module, specifically the  ECG module. I have the library for this module available. My goal is to integrate this library with the STM32F769 board using TouchGFX. The ECG module receives raw ECG data and converts it to serial UART output. I need to receive this data in the RX buffer and then plot it on a dynamic graph representing the ECG wave.To ensure the correct acquisition of data from the module, I need assistance in testing the initial UART data output. I have attached the module's library and datasheet for reference. Could you please provide guidance on how to approach this?I appreciate your prompt response as I'm eagerly awaiting assistance. Thank you.

I have a brand new, out-of-the-box (i.e. I've not moved any of the jumpers) STM32H573I Dev Kit, When I plug in a USB-C cable into the CN10 port. Windows 10 informs me that the "USB device is not recognised".I've tried installing the ST-Link USB Drivers but that has not helped.Unless I'm misreading the User Manual (UM3143), I shoudl be able to use the on-board STLINK-V3EC debugger/programmer via CN10.Any hint/tips for troubleshooting?

Hello to all, I'm trying to debug my multi core application. I'm following the AN5286 indication but I'm in stall soon, at "Shareble ST-Link"!I'm using Keil ver 5.31 and the ST-LINK is with firmware ver V3J5M2. The problem appear with one project selected at once. When I set the "Shareable ST-Link" flag the "Unit" popup became empty and the "SW Device" show "Unexpected Error". I attached the images. The STLink is visible:The SW device is not presentThe popup is empty too. Please: is there a way to enable correctly this flag and proceed to the multi core debug? Many thanksClemente

I have connected 100k NTC  with 100K PU resistance. ADC is measuring voltage on NTC is 1580 mV. While multimeter shows 1410 mV. 1410mV is correct number as it gives 32 degC  temperature.I am using ADC in polling mode. I added HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start also and ADC measurement changes to 1650 mV. please suggest on how to remove error.

Hi Is there a way to sort of set a breakpoint to figure out which part of my code is messing with a specific memory address in STM32CubeIDE?I've got this dynamically allocated address that keeps getting changed by something else in my code, and I'm trying to track down where it's happening. Any tips on how I can find the culprit function or module would be awesome :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:Thanks

In a project there are multiple MCUs of the same type. Each of these must have the same software on it and decide at startup which role they take. Some pin definitions are common for all the MCUs (like clock, identification, communication,...) and others differ completely, hence need to be initialized differently. It is a requirement that all of these MCUs are having the same software on it for update reasons. And preferrably changes pin definitions could be made in CubeMX.One option would be to have a CubeMX project for each of the MCU role and copy the generated code by hand to a overall project. This involvels a lot of hands on which is cumbersome and error prone. But since not too many changes are expected certainly doable.I've looked at nested projects. But since only one .ioc file can be active within one IDE project not really an option. There is also the option of Project references. But I could not find any documentation on the purpose of these and how it would work.Is there a g

Hi,Is it possible to understand the TAG variant from the UID during the inventory ?For example, ST25TV16K has the UID as shown below: For ST25TV02K, the UID is as shown below:If you see the above snapshots, ST product code is 48h for ST25TV16K and 23h for ST25TV02K. Are these values fixed and can we identify the tags from the product code ? Is the product code 48h  same for ST25TV64K also ? Could you also please tell what does the IC Mfg code say about the tags ?The reason I am asking is, If I know the tag, I can know which are the supported commands for specific tags. For example: Extended get system info is not supported in ST25TV02K, but supported in ST25TV16K.@Brian TIDAL

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. I would like to know how to work with the labels for the dynamic graph widget : I want to know how to make the X axis labels display a real time value instead of numbers and I want it to be accurate to the real time, for example : Instead of 10,20  etc I want it to show 01:10 AM, 01:20 AM. etc. can someone help me with this please? Thank You Best Regards.

Dear,we use EEPROM in our project with STM32L152. It seems like in some MCUs is erased random part of the Eeprom. It happens very rarely, and probably most likely when VCC is disconnected from PCB (MCU). Any solution, any similar experience?Best regards, Jan.

In our system with SMT32G041F6P6 powered by a battery, device gets to hung state when kept idle for few hours or days (randomly). We have already implemented a window  watchdog to detect any faults. Even with watchdog enabled, we are getting this hang issue. ( In this hang state, we couldn't see any kind of LED UI indications upon pressing the button which is the expected behaviour in idle state)When the NRST was checked , it was HIGH at that instant. At the instant, battery level is adequate. The device was only recovered by doing software reset.

Hi ST experts.I used the pingpong sample code to test RSSI and SNR. I set SF=12, BW=62.5Khz.I used SX1261 calculator tools to calculate, under this condition, its RSSI can reach -140dBm.But during my actual test, our RSSI reached -120dBm and the SNR was unable to receive data after it reached -20dBm. This is a module we designed ourselves. Is this normal behavior?

HI,I am using a STM32F446RE which is the 64pin package.AN4760 states that "LQFP64 supports only Bank1 and Single-SPI/Dual-SPI only"Does this mean that I am unable to use the QSPI on this chip to be memory mapped? When configuring the chip in CubeMX, QSPI comes up, but obviously only uses NCS, IO0, IO1, and CLKI have searched as much as I am able to, but have been unable to find anything definitive. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,Josh

I am trying to use the cryptographic hash processor on the STM32h723xx, however, I cannot find the registers like HASH_CR defined in the device header files. Can someone please advise If I should be using the register definition from another MCU device file, Do the hash features exist in this MCU?If they do not exist what other MCUs from the same H7 family would have this feature? Thanks

I want to use STM32F407V in USB device MSC mode. The device has battery to run the MCU. To fetch data from device, it will be connected to LAPTOP by USB cable. Please confirm below configuration for schematic1) Connect PA9 to VBUS on USB connector,  perferably by voltage divider so voltage never exceed 5V. But whats the purpose of PA9 connecting to Vbus , I am not sure..2) Do not need any pull up on USB_DP, as MCU has internal pull up as mentioned in datasheet. I hope I am not missing any point.  Thanks

I'm configuring the LTDC and I'm not sure where/how I enable the ltdc_aclk. I've enabled ltdc_plck in RCC->APB3ENR and I've configured PLL3R for the kernel/pixel clock but I cannot for the life of me find any info on how/where to enable ltdc_aclk so I'm unable to modify any of the registers in this clock domain. I'm using the STM32H745i-DISCO dev board.

Hello,I'm working with the nucleo_h563zi board and Zephyr (3.6).  I'm trying to build using MCU Boot and firmware update. I  have been able to successfully build MCUBoot and flash it to the device. That boots but fails with the "Unable to find bootable image" which is expected as there is no application flashed at this point. Next, I am able to build and flash my application to the board.  I'm using the Zephyr Blinky sample as a minimal test.  I've made sure to configure the partitions and MCUBoot options correctly. When I flash it to the board, however, I get the following error:Memory Programming ...Opening and parsing file: zephyr.signed.hexFile : zephyr.signed.hexSize : 20.02 KBAddress : 0x08010000Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Erasing internal memory sectors [8 10]Download in Progress:██████████████████████████████████████████████████ 100%File download completeTime elapsed during download operation: 00:00:00.674RUNNING Program ...Addre

I'm having a bit of trouble talking to the VL53L5Cx... I'm appearing to download firmware ok, by all accolunts vl53l5cx_init() is returning with VL53L5CX_STATUS_OK and vl53l5cx_start_ranging() likewise. However, the response on the I2C bus to vl53l5cx_check_data_ready() is 0xFF, 0x05, 0xC5, 0x81 - thus the check fails and is_Ready returns 0.Any help what those bytes being returned mean, and therefore clues as to what I've done wrong? The device consumption is in the order 28mA, and I cannot see any light with an IR camera...ThanksKevin
