Hi all,I would like to migrate your example code from st25r3916 disco demo board to my own microcontroller to use it as a card emulator. I have downloaded the "STSW-ST25R011" firmware.I already tried by myself, removing many code but i had no sucess. I plan to start again from scratch, so any hint will be high appreciatted

I'm new to STM and I'm trying to use USART to communicate between MCU board and my computer. I'm now using USART2 and CP2102 to translate TTL to USB. And have succeeded. But my goal is to directly use USB-C of STLINK to output serial data, because the user manual of this board just like below shows that the USART3 can directly output to USB-C of STLINK.  But I failed to use only USB to communicate and I don't no why.

I'm trying to get SPI1 working on an STM32U575 (NUCLEO board), starting from a base of existing working STM32F4 LL API code, but have failed.I am running this on a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board, so MOSI on PA7 (D11), MISO on PA6 (D12), SCLK on PA5(D13) and with SB63 not bridged so that I can use PB0 (the "IO1" pin of the QSPI pins on CN10) as NSS.Probing the pins, the SPI1 SCLK does not activate when I attempt to transmit data and the NSS pin stays high (it goes high when I configure SPI1 so it is working, after a fashion).  Not sure whether it is relevant but writes to CR1 do not modify the CR1 register contents as seen by the debugger, almost like SPI1 is not enabled (writes to other registers are visible in the debugger).  Here are my steps: // Set source clock and enable SPI clock (all APB clocks have already been configured) __HAL_RCC_SPI1_CONFIG(RCC_SPI1CLKSOURCE_PCLK2); __HAL_RCC_SPI1_CLK_ENABLE(); // Disable SPI while we configure LL_SPI_Disable(SPI1); // Configure MOS

Hello everyone programmers, I am a beginner of stm32, and now I have a few questions for you:Question 1: I want to know how to use TouchGFX STM32cubeIDE and STM32cubeMX to make a simple GUI program? Tell me how these three pieces of software work together. For example, I first used touchgfx to select the corresponding development board to generate a blank UI interface, then automatically generated the code configuration.ios file through stm32cubeMX, then generated the code to open using stm32cubeIDE, and then made the GUI through touchgfx. For example, I first make the GUI in touchgfx, then configure a project in stm32cubeMX that corresponds to the model development board, and open the project in stm32cubeIDE. Then open the folder and copy the GUI code generated in touchgfx to the project that has been configured with stm32cubeMX. There may be other ways, but I don't know how these three software work together, if you do, please give me an analysis, thank you!Question 2: The developmen

Hello,I am pretty new to BLE-Application and trying to build my first own app using the STM-BLE-Stack.I've been writing about my process in a previous thread (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/stm32wb-ble-update-char-from-main-c/m-p/589220#M16405), but want to be more precise now.My STM32 should work as server and send sensor data to a client, at first just a smartphone using the BLE Toolbox application.I generated a project according to ST's YouTube-Tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKYWy7LKL68&list=PLnMKNibPkDnG9JRe2fbOOpVpWY7E4WbJ-&index=16) and can read and write to my characteristics from my smartphone.Now I want to update a BLE-characteristic from my main application, i.e. main.c. I want to transfer sensor data and send a notification to my client that new data is available.I know about the functions   aci_gatt_update_char_value()  and in my case (cause I used the custom template)  Custom_STM_App_Update_Char()

in stm32h7431---->  Im trying to write only one byte in this address 0x8100000 . but it is writing 32 bytes in the memory . so why  not support to  write only one byte in internal flash memory.2----->  And im trying to start writing  some data from these addresess ..ex . (0x8100000 or 0x8100020 ,  0x8100040,0x8100060....... (theses addresess are base addreses where im start to writing ) )  like multiple of 32  . so my data is susccessfully writing in the internal flash memeory . But if i try to start the writing on not multiple of 32 addresess ..ex (0x8100001, 0x8100002, 0x8100002A, 0x8100210......... ( similarly theses addresess are base addreses where im start to writing ) )  . so my data is not writing in the memory and all the byte are become 0xFF in that sector . ------ > this is the function im  using for write data into internal flash memory   HAL_StatusTypeDef  HAL_FLASH_Program(uint32_t TypePro

Hello,I am trying to implement a flash erase function, which is based on the reference manual. I am using the STM32L476RG nucleo board. From there the instructions are: To erase a page (2 Kbyte), follow the procedure below: Check that no Flash memory operation is ongoing by checking the BSY bit in the Flashstatus register (FLASH_SR).Check and clear all error programming flags due to a previous programming. If not,PGSERR is set. Set the PER bit and select the page you wish to erase (PNB) with the associated bank(BKER) in the Flash control register (FLASH_CR).Set the STRT bit in the FLASH_CR register.Wait for the BSY bit to be cleared in the FLASH_SR registeSo for that operation I have created a function based on CMSIS which is the following:  uint16_t bl_flash_page_erase(uint32_t page, uint16_t bank) { /*Wait if any flash memory operation is ongoing*/ while (READ_BIT(FLASH->SR, FLASH_SR_BSY)) {} /*Check if any error occurs due to previous programming*/ b

Hi,I am using LIS2DW12 to detect walking situation of old man.Old man is walking slowly and little moving, In order to detect this small moving, what and how do I set CTRL register you recommend?I have to check continuous moving state....If LIS2DW12 is not suitable this acton, what do you recommend new chip? BRPaul

HAL Library provide the HAL_Delay() for millisecond delay. I want to use micro second delay in STM32L4 so how I do it? Is it available in HAL library?

Hi Team, I am developing a project in STM32CUBEIDE, when I configure GPIOs, connectivity, middleware's and clock configuration, from the .ioc file it generates the code and produce the main.c and other optional and header files based on my configuration. Now the problem is if any changes done in .ioc configuration, the main.c will update automatically with deleting pervious code. I am using build option to rectify this one, but same occurs again. Is there any other option to do the update in .ioc configuration without any deletion done in the previous main.c program, provide the suitable guidelines to rectify the problem.  Thank You regards S.Ramachandran

When I try to create a new project for NUCLEO-H743ZI2, STM32CubeIDE asked me to login myST to download software package. But when I tried to login, it hangs there. I checked the forum for solutions:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/myst-login-issue-in-stm32cubeide/td-p/575447and https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32cubeide-login-issue/td-p/658990But unfortunately both doesn't work. Anyone could help me in solving the problem?

Hello everyone, to simulate wireless charging of a smartphone (I want to achieve 5W transmission to the load), I need to use an electronic load and add the load step by step. Since the wireless charging system cannot immediately absorb high current, what sequence of loads should I connect to the STEVAL-WLC38RX to ensure it absorbs 5W?

Hello.I'm using the TSSOP-20 package STM32G051. After attempting to write some optional bytes, the situation is completely ruined. no longer able connect debugger, Erasing flash, and changing optional bytes. 1. So here's the code ; The issue with it is that whenever I press the button, weird things occur, such as my output resetting completely-going to the maximum, at my output I have a variable PWM signal void PB_Init(void){ RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOCEN; GPIOC->MODER |= ( 0x0 << GPIO_MODER_MODE13_Pos); GPIOC->PUPDR |= ( 0x1 << GPIO_PUPDR_PUPD13_Pos); } void EXTI15_10_Init(void){ PB_Init(); // Initialize PC13 as input. RCC->APB2ENR |= (1<<14); // Enable System configuration controller SYSCFG->EXTICR[3] &= ~(1<<7); // Select Port C as source, EXTIx = 0b0010 SYSCFG->EXTICR[3] &= ~(1<<6); // Select Port C as source, EXTIx = 0b0010 SYSCFG->EXTICR[3] |= (1<<5); // Select Port C as source, EXTIx = 0b0010 SYSCFG->EXTICR[3] &= ~(1<<4); // Select Port C as source, EXTIx = 0b0010 EXTI->IMR |= (1<<13); // Disable interrupt request mask on EXTI line 13 EXTI->FTSR |= (1<<13); // Enable

Hi,i am testing the ADC at the moment, and the values i get out of it look pretty good. Except, when using a squarewave.See my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmKADM2yQvU The manual states for having the ADC run from AHB clock: "... has the advantage of bypassing the clock domain resynchronizations. This can be useful when the ADC is triggered by a timer and if the application requires that the ADC is precisely triggered without any uncertainty ...". But as can be seen, there is an issue, as the blue signal (which represents the bits of the adc - derived from tim2 pwm) does some "steps" over a period of about 1.3us. It does not so when inputting a triangular wave.Anyone has experience here? Or any idea? I have already changed from checking the ADC measure from NOPs in a loop to PWM, to rule out any delays in code execution. But it still looks, like there is no precise triggering of the ADC.I would expect the ADC value (blue pulse) to step up at one point.Edit:I made another

Hello, I am attempting to identify a component from a switch mode power supply out of a audio preamp.I am 90% confident it is a zener diode, but after that I am at a loss. Markings (cathode band on left):(ST) 98ZKW  *not sure if there is a space between K and W, might be ZK W Measurments (in mm):2.78 W --> case4.15 L --> case5.30 L --> case w leads2.11 H --> case2.25 H --> case w leads Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, Rick

I have TIM20 configured in reset mode and I want the output of COMP7 to reset it. I have TIM20 configured with ETR routed to COMP7 and I can see the timer being reset on both of the edges of the COMP7 signal. I only want TIM20 reset on one edge. I'm using CubeIDE and I see options for choosing rising\falling\both for input capture, but no way to do it when routing from the internal comparators. Is this possible?

Hi,I'm looking for SRAM memory for STM32H757xI and found thishttps://eu.mouser.com/ProductDetail/ISSI/IS66WVS4M8BLL-104NLI?qs=doiCPypUmgHfByEUFkOsAw%3D%3DDoes such kind or SRAM memory work with this MCU model?Thanks.

Hi, I have been trying to get acceleration data from an Adafruit LSM6DSO32 with the STM32 Nucleo board F446RE via i2c. I used the STMems_Standard_C_drivers  (GitHub - STMicroelectronics/lsm6dso32-pid at 308cf0e4de0db190c453f3e211b0c40990f1f39b) in order to set the IMU properly. I also use the STM32CubeIDE app to programme the MCU. Despite many efforts, the Nucleo board is not able to recognise the IMU (I checked that a test buffer that prints whether the device is recognised using the whoami register (please refer to the 7z folder attached)), though I double checked the slave address of the components and the connections (please see attached image (IMG_0605.jpg). Could you please help me solve that problem? You can find enclosed a copy of the STM32CubeIDE project. Best regards, Audric

Currently, I am working on a project that involves STU HF library, it works fine on the .net framework project. However. as we move on to the .net core project to branch out to other operating systems(Linux), the project could not read stuhfl.dll. My inspection is that the .net core is not compatible with the stuhfl.dll. Is there any other version of this dll that works on .Net core? Help is needed.

HI, We have an STM32L55CC with 256k flash on our board. Debugging was OK with a first version of 75Kb flash. A current test version tops at 204kB. And then the troubles began. Quite often the download in flash failed. I dind't find any soution on google and elsewhere. Seeing that I upgraded my CubeIDE and the driver of the ST/LINK V2.It works for some times and afterward stopped working. As I was working on the memory map I was messing all around modifying my map back and forth. Finally after having seen this https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/can-t-enter-into-debug-mode-after-writing-to-the-stm32l073/m-p/659060#M240303 I tried to mass-erase the flash from the STM32CubeProgrammer. After that I can reload the software and debug.But it is not stable. After a few downloads it breaks again, I mass-erase the flash and it restarts. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi all,I config the SDIO & FATFS by cubeMx for my STM32F429BI board.When I config the SDIO to SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B, everything is work well; Even the generated MX_SDIO_SD_Init() is NOT calling the HAL_SD_Init() function. (Why don't need HAL_SD_Init() , is this some mistake?) void MX_SDIO_SD_Init(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef hal_sta; hsd.Instance = SDIO; hsd.Init.ClockEdge = SDIO_CLOCK_EDGE_RISING; hsd.Init.ClockBypass = SDIO_CLOCK_BYPASS_DISABLE; hsd.Init.ClockPowerSave = SDIO_CLOCK_POWER_SAVE_DISABLE; hsd.Init.BusWide = SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B; hsd.Init.HardwareFlowControl = SDIO_HARDWARE_FLOW_CONTROL_DISABLE; hsd.Init.ClockDiv = 0; } However, when I change SDIO_BUS_WIDE_1B to SDIO_BUS_WIDE_4B, the operate to SD card is error.But when I change the code to below, the program works well again: void MX_SDIO_SD_Init(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef hal_sta; hsd.Instance = SDIO; hsd.Init.ClockEdge = SDIO_CLOCK_EDGE_RISING; hsd.Init.ClockBypass = SDIO_CLOCK_BYPASS

I set up x-cube-mcsdk least ver.6.2.1 workbench with a combination of nucleo-h745zi(motor control board) and x-nucleo-ihm08m1(motor inverter board).The pin configuration is the default setting.Where should I connect x-nucleo-ihm08 to nucleo-h745zi?

Beside my Nucleo-H7S3L8 board, I have other boards where the MCU can do JTAG and have JTAG pin accessible, but neither STM32CubeProgrammer not OpenOCD and other programmers can detect/attach  via JTAG. SWD works works fine on these boardsHere the output of the Log window of STM32CubeProgrammer of two similar boards with  STM32L412KB chips with full JTAG connections, NJRST pin is left unconnected.
