Hello, I'd like to change speed (clock prescaler setting in CFG1) and then resume sending bytes on SPI.Right now, I do :retval = HAL_SPI_Abort(&hspi2); My_SPI2_Init(SPI_EyeGenPrescaler);where My_SPI2_Init is just slightly customized version of Mx_SPI2_Init with new Prescaler value as input argument. After this, I don't see anything on SPI MOSI output. What am I doing wrong? Is something else needed to shutdown SPI and initialize it at new prescaler value ? Can I somehow change speed more fine-grained than just changing prescaler to values like powers of 2 ? Thanks,regards.

I have a design that used an M95010-W and can read the Status as well as set the WEL bit and read it back in the status.  However when I try to write data starting at address 0 with the command string 0x02 0x00 followed by data in the same SPI frame and then read back with the command string 0x03 0x00, the data that follows is all 0 for the addresses of the data that was written and all 0xFF for the rest of the array.I also noticed that on the first attempt that between the write and the read I left the WEL bit set and it the WEL bit seems to be persistent until it is commanded to set to 0.  This is not disclosed in the data sheet for the part as far as I can tell.   I made a second attempt to write data and read it back while setting the WEL bit before the write followed by returning the WEL bit to 0 and then doing the read.  This did not change the behavior of addressed array contents setting to 0 regardless of the data.After power cycling the array contents

Hello everyone !(I don't speak english very well so sorry if i do some mistakes :)  )So, I'm trying to connect the u-block neo6m to my STM32F446RE. The thing is when i'm trying to see datas with PuTTY, i get nothing. I'm new to this kind of things so I'm for sure forgetting something. So here are all the informations : NEO6M ----- STM32F446REGRND on GRNDVCC on 5VTX on D2 (PA10)RX on D8(PA9) These connections seems to be the right connections following user manuals and dashboard and all... :  To achive all of this, i've been looking at some tutorials on ytb. Also, i attached my main and the programs+library i used to get datas out of the neo6m. I checked the port of STLINK, in my case it's COM5. When connecting on Putty, the terminal is blank.Baud rate 9600 is default rate of neo6m and i'm aware that i have to change the value on putty.The neo6m led is blinking so i'm assuming it's transmitting datas.I have updated ST-link firmware several times, and reinst

So I just plugged in my Eval kit. I have 12V in the barrel jack and am connected to the usb to my pc. When I switch to the appropriate port, I can use the eval kit GUI to connect and ask for the Firmware version. It responds 1.6 which should be correct. But then the next step is to change ID assignment to 1 and looking at the D13 LED to light up. This does not happen. Even more confusingly, I see the D5 led (TX) light up then the D4 led (RX) light up. shouldnt it be backwards? Finally, It says the Ack light should turn green when I press configure IDs but it stays red. Am I missing a step? is 12 V 1 amp not enough power for this board?

I have a FreeRTOS queue with many calls from various tasks.I would like to assign elements of a variable that is passed into the queue with the file name and line number of the task that is placing the variable on the queue.I have a corruption issue that might be a stack or perhaps an array that is being sent to the queue that is not copied but sent as a reference?At the moment I have started to hand code the line numbers, but it's not ideal.Can anyone help?

I struggle to use PDM Filter library.This is the message error I get : What I have done so far are : - in project properties, C/C++ general, Paths and syombols, in "Includes" I added the path to pdm2pcm_glo.h ; in "Library Paths" I added the path to a folder with all the libPDM_FIlter_CM3_GCC_wc16.A ... files.- Wrote #include "pdm2pcm_glo.h" in the main.It's still not working :\In "Paths and Symbols", in libraries, I think I can add a library but I don't know which one to use (all the files were included in mems1 folder). I tried randomly picking but I had another error message;I am new to cubeIDE so it's very possible Im doing a beginner mistake here

As far as I can tell, there is a bug in mem_init() in mem.c this can cause a memory overrun and hard fault (if you're lucky) In lwipopts.h I set LWIP_RAM_HEAP_POINTER = 0x30004000 MEM_SIZE 0x4000 I would expect the pool to be from 0x30004000 to 0x30007FFF however mem_init() has this code ram_end = ptr_to_mem(MEM_SIZE_ALIGNED);ram_end->used = 1;ram_end->next = MEM_SIZE_ALIGNED;ram_end->prev = MEM_SIZE_ALIGNED;   ram_end is set to 0x30008000 and the instruction 'ram_end->used = 1' writes beyond the allocated memory, and in my case outside the memory_segment and hard faults. If the pool is elsewhere it'll overwite the next address outside the pool - eek.   using STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.2 path to file STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.2\Middlewares\Third_Party\LwIP\src\core\mem.c but same code in F4, and others I guess.

Hi all!Where do I find the "true" version number for the CMSIS-RTOS code "injected" by CubeMX?While STM32CubeMX (v6.9.1) shows "2.0.0"..... the header file in my project (CMSIS_RTOS_V2/cmsis_os.h) has the following in the comment header* $Date: 10. January 2017* $Revision: V2.1.0** Project: CMSIS-RTOS API* Title: cmsis_os.h FreeRTOS header filefollowed by a version history, clearly mentioning Version 2.1.0.Is the cmsis_os.h header file the "proper source of truth"? Or is it a different file?The most recent revision history can also be found here: https://arm-software.github.io/CMSIS_5/RTOS2/html/rtos_revisionHistory.html (but that's of course independent of the version from what I am using). Cheers

According to different STM32MP1 documentation such as STM32MP1-Peripheral-USB_Host_interface_USBH or STM32MP1-Peripheral-USB-On-The-Go-Full-and-HighSpeed-interface presentation there is two USB phy, one dual port HS phy and one single port FS phy. In my understanding I should be able to enable 3 USB host port, two HS and one FS. I am using the STM32CubeMX tool but I am unable to enable such 3 ports. I am able to enable two HS port but I am unable to enable OTG port. If I disable one HS port I am able to enable OTG port. So it seems STM32CubeMX allows to enable only two ports at the same time.   Is this an issue of STM32CubeMX or it's a real limitation of the chip ? Note, I have tried with different package with the same results   Many thanks in advance for any help

 Hello Team,I have recently started working with STM32 microcontrollers, specifically the STM32H573.In my current project, I am utilizing FreeRTOS as the real-time operating system (RTOS). However, I need to incorporate support for the FAT file system, and unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find any relevant documentation.Could you please guide me on how to add FAT file system support to FreeRTOS for the STM32H573?Any assistance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help.Best regards,Paras

I was using your company's a microchip which is 'STM32F030K6' for a project recently.But I was confused by a question, which is the Flash memory endurance.In the datasheet of 'STM32F030x4/x6/x8/xC' ,it said the flash memory endurance is1 kcycle(in the page of 58/93). But in the other file 'AN4061'(EEPROM emulation in STM32F0xx microcontrollers),it said pageerase cycles is 10 kcycle(in the page of 17/19 Table 6). Why is it different? Which one is correct? Looking forward to your feedback and suggestions soon.

Hello all!I am reaching out to see if anyone here has any experience jumping from application code to the embedded system bootloader while using the System Window Watchdog (WWDG) peripheral. I am using the STM32G431 series. The ST documentation (AN2606 Rev 62) has a fairly lengthy discussion on how to handle working with the IWDG peripheral, and I've avoided any issues using it, and then jumping. There is not, however, documentation on the WWDG. According to the manual, it seems like the only way to stop the WWDG is to do a system reset (just like IWDG)So, it makes sense that if the system bootloader isn't petting the WWDG, then a direct jump to the bootloader would cause issues. I am just wondering if anyone has had success in performing this jump while using the WWDG peripheral.I'm running the chip at 168MHz. WWDG is set up with a prescaler of 64 (on top of the 4096 baked into the peripheral). I am using WWDG as a standard watchdog, so the window value is set to its max 0x7F. The cou

Good afternoon togetherI got myself a Nucleo with the STM32G474RE and a shield X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1 to develop a USB-C PD interface (sink), now I cloned the example from Github, built and downloaded it. The cable and the power plug are recognised, but if I select a specific PDO, I get the following message "Message Rejected from this Port Configuration" (see picture). And no PDO is selected. How should I configure the port, if this is not already set in the example?

Dear programmers, I am new to STM32, and my tutor now requires me to find some GUI demo files and source code to help me with my graduation design. Since the official demo of TouchGFX does not have GUI demo files of STM32H747I-DISCO, I ask for your help. Help me find some GUI demo files about STM32H747I-DISCO, thanks!

Hello All !   I have an issue with the CAN bus on STM32F042G6. I am using PA11 and PA12 Pins. Here is the configuration part with a 48MHz internal clock :     static void MX_CAN_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END CAN_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END CAN_Init 1 */ hcan.Instance = CAN; hcan.Init.Prescaler = 23; hcan.Init.Mode = CAN_MODE_NORMAL; hcan.Init.SyncJumpWidth = CAN_SJW_1TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg1 = CAN_BS1_5TQ; hcan.Init.TimeSeg2 = CAN_BS2_6TQ; hcan.Init.TimeTriggeredMode = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoBusOff = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoWakeUp = DISABLE; hcan.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hcan.Init.ReceiveFifoLocked = DISABLE; hcan.Init.TransmitFifoPriority = DISABLE; if (HAL_CAN_Init(&hcan) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /* USER CODE BEGIN CAN_Init 2 */ /* USER CODE END CAN_Init 2 */ }     Here is the remap done by STCube :     void HAL_MspInit(void) { /* USER COD

Greetings,I am using a NUCLEO-H563ZI with the STM32CubeIDE, and wanted to create a new project based on FREERTOS. It appears that FREERTOS is not part of this release, and the tools tell me I have to download it.1) Is there a version on FREERTOS compatible with STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.2.0?2) I see that STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.2.0 supports ThreadX, is ST moving away from FREERTOS support infavor of ThreadX?3) How can I download and install FREERTOS into STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.2.0? ThanksKen

Hi All,Is there an errata for the STM32L5 Nucleo board?I need to use the SPI on port G which requires PG11 for SPI MOSI.However in the schematic for the board, PG11 is missing from the schematic symbol (see page 3) and there is a gap.  The pin numbers in the symbol keep incrementing though.https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/layouts_and_diagrams/schematic_pack/group1/0f/01/93/eb/32/a6/42/56/MB1361-L552ZEQ-C02_Schematic/files/MB1361-L552ZEQ-C02_Schematic.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.MB1361-L552ZEQ-C02_Schematic.pdf PG11 is also missing from the Nucleo Pinout table (page 39).https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/group1/ad/a4/bd/5e/14/15/4e/e8/DM00615305/files/DM00615305.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00615305.pdf  In the STM32L552xx datasheet (page 86), PG11 is assigned 126. Thank you

Hi all,I have the problem concerning resetting the CAN bus after the other side was set to a wrong bitrate:Example:My system is sending data with 500 kBit. But the receiver is set to 1 MBit.This results of course in Errors when sending data. I handle this by resetting the CAN Bus port after a couple of Errors.As soon as the receiver switches to the correct bitrate of 500 kBit, my system should then work properly, but it still gets Error Interrupts - even after another reset.The debugger runs into "Error Warning" and "Error Passive" Interrupt states. And only a small part of the messages will be transmitted. Sometimes it works as expected, but most times it is still getting Error Interrupts.How can I safely return to a working CAN interface? Here is what I do to reset the CAN Bus:HAL_CAN_DeInit(&hcan1);MX_CAN1_Init();   // Je nach Konfig aus SysInfo für Baudrate initialisieren/* CAN1 init function */void MX_CAN1_Init(void){ hcan1.pTxMsg = &CANTxMessage;

Hi everybody. I am using "STM32H7B3LIHQ" MCU and i want to try led blinking. I have created a new project in CubeMx. I am using 24MHz crystal resonator and MCU frequency is 280 MHz. Toolchain is "STM32CubeIDE" and program is very simple;  HAL_Delay(500); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_4, SET); HAL_Delay(500); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOD, GPIO_4, RESET);  But i can't build project. I have a "No such file or directory" error.I researched on the internet but could not find any information about solving the problem. What is the problem?

hiwere would i find a recent webinar on how to use X-CUBE-MEMS1? I am interested in Lsm6DSL.Thx

When generate code for STM32H562 with active ADC + GPDMA1, I can't see code for configuration of GPDMA1. I see only this :static void MX_GPDMA1_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN GPDMA1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END GPDMA1_Init 0 */ /* Peripheral clock enable */__HAL_RCC_GPDMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); /* GPDMA1 interrupt Init */HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(GPDMA1_Channel0_IRQn, 0, 0);HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(GPDMA1_Channel0_IRQn); /* USER CODE BEGIN GPDMA1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END GPDMA1_Init 1 *//* USER CODE BEGIN GPDMA1_Init 2 */ /* USER CODE END GPDMA1_Init 2 */ }This is error or I don't know where to find it ?

I am trying to write something using printf with STM32-nucleo-h743zi board, windows 10. I can run programs that make a led turn on, and make connections via uart and all the things, but when i open tera term or Putty, i can not see any word in there.. I link my nucleo with other stm32  chip to do other stuff and it works via uart, but nothing about writing in Tera term or Putty.My COM configuration is ok for sure, and i use the same baud that is written in my code.I just use this method, i saw this tutorial: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-redirect-the-printf-function-to-a-uart-for-debug-messages/ta-p/49865I saw different videos in youtube and all the people do it in the same way.I connect my board using USB. It must be simple, but i can't reach this thing...Any suggestions?? Thank you.
