Hi Team,I am Using NUCLEO-F439ZI EVM, while using ethernet interfacing,In the RMII mode: LWIP -> Platform Setting -> Driver_PHY - both LAN8742 and DP83848 are enable. In the MII mode (both half-duplex and full duplex):LWIP -> Platform Setting -> Driver_PHY - only DP83848 are enable. My problem was, while using TCP client and server programming, I choose MII mode, I does not show LAN8742. while using RMII mode, the sent from PC -> EVM board, it cannot accept the data. Guide, what is the mistake done? give the clarification.Thank YouRamachandran.S

There's a problem enabling QuadSPI in CubeIDE. After enabling QSPI and generating the code, compile errors occur. Here are the issues I've identified:XSPI_HandleTypeDef is not defined. There's no define related to QSPI (or XSPI) Enable in the stm32mp13xx_hal_conf.h file.Declarations for HAL_XSPI_MspInit and HAL_XSPI_MspDeInit functions' code are missing in the stm32mp13xx_hal_msp.c file.HAL_XSPI_MODULE_ENABLED is not present in stm32mp13xx_hal_conf.h. Thank you for your help.

I AM USING STM32 WL55JC2 CONTROLLER TO WORK AS A LORA END NODE , I AM WORKING WITH EXCISTING CODE FOR LORA END NODE AND I WANT TO CONFIGURE UART1 , THE CODE IS WORKING UNDER  SEQUENCER OS. SO I AM TRYING TO IMPLEMENT UART1 WITHIN THE SEQUENCER OS , UART1 FUNCTION IS CALLED UNDER THE SEQUENCER OS , THE FUNCTION IS CALLING BY THE SEQUENCER , BUT THE UART IS NOT WORKING , I TRIED WITH DMA AS WELL AS INTERUPT , EVEN THOUGH UART IS NOT WORKING.I NEED SUPPORT PLEASE HELP ME .

Hello everyone, sorry if this is too easy of a task but I am quite frustrated. Can anyone help? I want to use CP2102 USB to UART bridge to send data from my PC to my Nucleo, then send the exact same data from my Nucleo to the PC so I know that the data has been received successfully. I have connected the Tx of CP2102 to the Rx of UART2 and Rx of CP2102 to the Tx of UART2, then connected the grounds and VCCs of the chip and board together (I am using 3.3V for this project. The baudrate I am currently using is 115200 but I have used 9600 with no changes to the result. I have also changed the UART ports I have used, to no avail: Did both receiver and transmitter on UART1, the receiver on UART1 with the transmitter on UART2, the receiver on UART2 with the transmitter on UART1... I thought maybe my CP2102 was faulty but when I short TX and RX I do get the echo of my typing back so that was not it either. The CP2102's transmitter's LED is blinking when I type, which is a good sign, but the re

I recently purchased a STM32F769NI MCU Discovery Kit. The kit is brand new, and I was looking to run the example display application "LCD_PicturesFromSDCard" from the most recent version of STM32CubeF7 software package. I downloaded the most recent version of STM32CubeF7 (1.17.0) as well as the most recent patch (1.17.1). I compiled the "LCD_PicturesFromSDCard" project in Keil uVision5 changing the optimization level to 0 and changed the defined processor symbol from "USE_STM32F769I_DISCO" to "USE_STM32F769I_DISCO_REVB03". As instructed via the readme.txt for this specific example application, I created a "Media" directory under the empty micro SD card root, and copied the 5 .bmp images provided in the sample application to the micro SD. I then connected the micro SD to the STM32F769NI MCU Discovery Kit and tried to run the application to display the photos with no success. The error of no bitmap files is consistently debug outputted to the display. I repeated the p

Hello, I am using the STSAFE-A110 connected to the ESP32C3 board. I referred to the service interface from this GitHub repository (https://github.com/kmwebnet/stsafe_esp32_test). I have matched the Host MAC key and cipher key exactly as in the example. The current status is that pairing is complete, and the wrap operation returns a success response. However, I am encountering a 0x11 error during the unwrap operation.     Unwrap_Failed : 17 <- print decimal data

Hello everyone,I am using an STM32L152RE board to generate a delay using the RTC as a timer. I would like the onboard LED to blink every 10 seconds. I have tried using a delay via a timer and am now trying to implement the same functionality using the internal RTC.I have configured all the ports and selected the appropriate clock, i.e., LSE. Below, I have attached the main file. Although the RTC is running, there is no change in the LED. Can you please help me with this issue?Thank you,

Hi,I have a problem with my project. There are two boards MCU1 and MCU2. They are communicating with each other via UART. I simplified program to better understand why it is still not working but somehow I still cant see what the problem. Program description:1. MCU1 send to MCU2 AA (AA is array filled with two 0xAA)2. MCU2 send to MCU1 CC (CC is array filled with two 0xCC)3. MCU1 after receiveing 0xCC starts engine4.MCU1 send to MCU2 BB (BB is array filled with two 0xBB)5. MCU2 send to MCU1 DD (DD is array filled with two 0xDD)6. MCU1 after receiving 0xDD starts hornOn 6 step there is a problem. I can see on oscilloscope that DD frame is coming to MCU1 but somehow MCU1 doesnt go to callback function and doesnt exceute code in callback function - doesnt turn on the horn, rest of the code is executing fine.Baud rate is the same for both MCUs. Source code MCU1:/* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ uint8_t buffer[2]; uint8_t AA[2]={0xAA,0xAA}; uint8_t BB[2]={0xBB,0xBB}; void HAL_UART_RxCpl

As stated in UM1052, chapter 14 there is often a requirement to control a BLDC motor control board over a serial connection. The above manual describes the protocol used by older MCSDKs. But the latest MCSDK 5.Y.x seems to use a slightly different procol called ASPEP.Unfortunately I could not find a documentation for that protocol on the ST web site.My question is: Is there any documentation of that new protocol or is it required to reverse engineer the STM source code to use it with an different application than the Motor Pilot?Thank you for any hints!Best Regards Thomas

Hello Community, I am trying to confirm with you all a design decision for RC based Low Pass Filter that I plan to install on my the UART Rx pin as the STM32G0 Errata mentions this pin has to have a filtered/noise free input to avoid glitches. I am trying to re-confirm what is the input impedance for the UART Input pin on STM32G series MCUs? Is it a fair assumption that all input pins irrespective of the peripheral (ie UART/I2C/SPI etc) have high input impedance in Mohm range? Kindly suggest/share your experience of using RC Filter on UART Rx input.

The directory:STM32CubeWB-v1.19.1/Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32WBxxis empty. There should be an "Include" directory here. This missing directory means that some of the BLE programs (BLE AT Server) cannot compile.I was on the P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo platform. The cproject file refers to:<state>$PROJ_DIR$/../../../../../../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32WBxx/Include</state>=====Related problem:directory: STM32CubeWB-v1.19.1/Drivers/STM32WBxx_HAL_Driveralso does not have the Inc directory but  the cproject file has:<state>$PROJ_DIR$\..\..\..\..\..\..\Drivers\STM32WBxx_HAL_Driver\Inc</state>====Bottom line, none of the BLE examples run with v.1.19.1 for the P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo platform.

There are four DC fans connected the board.  For each, there is a current resistor buffered through an op-amp and then passed to the ADC channel on the STM32G491RET6 MCU. All four ADCs are connected to the same module on four different channels. Software wants to poll into the ADC value periodically and get average (or RMS) current value. This is the code: ADC1 configuration:   static void MX_ADC1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 0 */ ADC_MultiModeTypeDef multimode = {0}; ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_Init 1 */ /** Common config */ hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV2; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc1.Init.GainCompensation = 0; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc1.Init.LowPo

I currently try to design a custom PCB using the STM32F303CCT6TR, as I need a lot of IO ports and it fitted the job quite well.I'm a computer science Student so please excuse my lack of in depth knowledge, but I haven't found a solution to the problem yet.As I move components on the schematic I got confused about the Power supply scheme stated in the documentation.(The picture)The connection of VDD to the filtering capacitors, in particular. As the drawing stated 4xVDD to VDD-Source and through 4x100nf + 4.7uf to ground. (with "uf" stands for micro farad)There are multiple ways I interpreted it.1. connect one 100nf to each VDD and further let them share a common 4.7uf capacitor.2. connect each VDD to 4x100nf +4,7uf capacitors, so 5 capacitors per VDD (totaling in 20 capacitors).3. connect each VDD to a 100nf and an 4,7uf capacitor. (as brackets could have be omitted)Further, just to clarify the "+" refers to a parallel connection between the capacitors (it would make the most

Hallo Gurus:Newbie level question..'health issues' making me less efficient, and some pointers to get me started would help a lot.I want to do a software start of ADC conversions with DMA into a circular buffer...when an external trigger (GPIO?) occurs, start a timer, and have timer compare stop the conversion...like an oscilloscope triggered capture with pre- and post-trigger capture?Just pointers into the "RTFM", or app note/tutorial, if possible, not wanting to dump a design exercise on anyone!

Hello,I am working on implementing secure firmware with OEMiRoT boot on the STM32H563. I have configured I2C1 and TIM1 as non-secure peripherals. While the TIM1 interrupt works as expected, I am encountering an issue where the I2C1 slave interrupt handler is never entered. (Note: The I2C slave works correctly if TrustZone is disabled.）I am wondering if the I2C1 slave interrupt handler requires special handling when configured as a non-secure peripheral with TrustZone enabled?Additionally, if I need to change the start offset and application size for secure and non-secure applications, what changes are required beyond updating flash_layout.h in OEMiROT project?Any assistance on these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Ivan

Hi folks,I am currently testing the VL53L0X sensor and reading the datasheet. Is the current consumption of the sensor 19 mA in the single ranging scenario, or is it calculated for continuous ranging? I'm not clear on this point. Thanks!

Hello, Where can I find hardware configuration for BLE examples in case of development and production? Particular for STM32WB BLE-HID.

Hi,      I need LIN driver library files for SPC584B70E5 microcontroller, please do the need full. Thanks.

In my project, I have a TCP/IP server application running. My main problem is that only one client can connect to the same IP and port at the same time. My project requirement is that multiple clients should be able to send queries to the same IP and port. I can achieve this structure with LWIP, but I couldn't set up the same structure with Azure RTOS NetX. One client works without a problem, but multiple clients cannot send queries. What can we do about this?

Hello ST Community,I am currently working on a project using the Nucleo-H753ZI without an RTOS, and I have followed a tutorial by Controllers Tech to set up TCP/Ethernet. I am using Static IP assignment.I can Transmit and Receive data though Hercules Tool. However, when I try to use the ModbusTool for TCP connection, the STM32 does not seem to receive any data.Problem Description:Ethernet setup is successful, and data transfer works with Hercules software.Using ModbusTool for TCP connection results in no data being received by the STM32.Configuration Details:While following the Controllers Tech tutorial, I noticed some differences in the CubeMX configuration options compared to what was shown in the tutorial. Despite these differences, I managed to configure the Ethernet settings and get it working for data transfer using Hercules software.Differences:I have used RMII instead of MII.I do not have Rx Buffer Address option in Ethernet Parameter Setting.Steps Taken:Followed the Controller

Good afternoon, I am currently working with the STM32WB5MMDK. Upon verifying the documentations, I couldn't find any mention of a JTAG interface for debugging purposes. I wanted to know if the JTAG pins can be used for programming and debugging as SWD pins.   Could you please confirm whether the JTAG interface is available for debugging on the STM32WB5MMDK? Thank you,   Best regards Nour

Hello,Can someone provide me the failure rate (fit) of this Schottky diode? I'm updating our database and couldn't find this information on any datasheet / report.PN:  BAT30SWFILMIf the number isn't available could someone provide a guide of how to calculate for this specific component? Thanks in advance,

Well, I'm new to the STM32. I'm developing vibration and temperature sensors, which used to be equipped with an atmega. With the new demand for processing I decided to upgrade by putting an STM32L0 in place of the old controller. The problem is that now I can't use my CUBE Programmer to connect to my board via Nucleo's STM Link.An error message appears whenever I click Connect, and my Nucleo board flashes red.I think I may have made a connection or PCB design error.Information:My system has 1 accelerometer 1 temperature sensor 1 Lora radio 1 battery sensor and a 3v3 regulator. The clock has been set to 25KHz by means of an Oscillator Crystal.and the BOOT0 pin is not connected to anything other than the pull-down resistor.
