Hi Everyone, I'm using Nucleo-f429 board and using HAL UART API's on it. I have observed that on using HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA()  for a receiving data of length 800. I found that Buffer getting filled / Interrupt is called once its size reached 64 even though there isn't any idle state and regardless of what data I'm passing.  I have tried using this API for receiving data of length 50 (<64). Its working and interrupt is getting triggered once the idle state is seen at 50th element.Could anyone help me out on this.Required code snippets attached belowThanks edit: #define BUFFER_SIZE 1000 extern unsigned char rxData[BUFFER_SIZE]; void HAL_UART_MspInit(UART_HandleTypeDef* uartHandle) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; if(uartHandle->Instance==USART2) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_MspInit 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART2_MspInit 0 */ /* USART2 clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_USART2_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPI

We have a part on our custom board which includes a STM32L072CZ.  The part was shipped with obsolete firmware, and we are trying to upgrade the firmware with the new image provided by the manufacturer.  We first tried to upgrade the firmware using Segger's J-Flash utility and a J-Link Plus.  We were able to reprogram the firmware, but in the process it apparently wiped out the 6k of EEPROM.  J-FLash's target selection shows the STM32L072CZ as having 198k of flash, but it should be 192k of flash.  I'm guessing the additional 6k is the EEPROM.The manufacturer suggested we try STM32CubeProgrammer.  This utility connects using the J-Link, and it correctly recognizes the target.  Since this particular target has already had the EEPROM wiped out when using J-Flash, I would like to confirm that using STM32CubeProgrammer will preserve the EEPROM.  Are there any steps I need to take within STM32Cube Programmer to preserve the EEPROM or does it recognize t

Hi all,I reach out to you all to give some pointers or advice for me where to look into to solve this mystery.I set up my Nuc-STM32F439ZI eval board i2s peripheral to play my audio sine wav file.I used Audacity to generate 13KHz sine wave audio file with 48KHz sampling, 16-bit PCM wav file, then using Wav2Code to generate the array binary. For STM32, I set I2S with 48KHz Sampling rate, Half-Duplex Master, Mode Master Transmit, I2S Philips, 16 bits data on 16 bits frame, DMA half word, Circular mode.I2S generated correct signal, bit clock, frame rate, data valid but when I feed this sine wave to an amplifier and monitor the output of the amplifier on the scope, I saw my sine wave double in frequency which is 22KHz to 26KHz.I then tried different way to create the sine wave with the look up table from the sine wave math function with the frequency of 1KHz, and the result is the same at the amplifier output, I got 2KHz sine wave.Does anyone else this behavior or anything you experienced?

Hello,I am working on a project using the STM32WB55 and its BLE stack. I am trying to implement a custom service with more than three characteristics. However, when I add a fourth characteristic, the function aci_gatt_add_char returns the error code 0x98.Interestingly, if I add two more services each with two characteristics (i.e., a total of 3+2+2 = 7 characteristics), there are no issues. The problem occurs only when a single service contains more than 3 characteristics.I followed the Heart Rate Monitor example.Thank you for any help.

HI,I am using VL53L1 sat board, can i configure I2C of the sensor to 1MHz? How should i do it? Could u please guide me on this matter?Thank you

Hi,I am looking to print only the signalrate in MCPS of the VL53L1. What should I do?

AN5215 is about ` STM32H747/757 advanced power management`, which include freertos / ltdc / STemwin and other components. It's maybe my BEST reference code for my product. In page 1 , it clearly said " This application note is provided with the X-CUBE-PWRMGT-H7 MCU Package" , but when I switch to its page,  it's Totally WRONG ! The 'X-CUBE-PWRMGT-H7 '  page said it's a demo about  STM32H7x3/A3/B3 devices.  Code zip attached, things like freertos / STemwin are completely missing ! My question is:  Where can find the CORRECT AN5215 application code ? It's important for my product. Thks !

HI,I am using VL53L1 sensor for a custom project. I had some queries regarding the sensor,1) what is the integration time for the SPAD sensor?2) What is the max sampling rate of the SPAD sensor (ADC conversion)? What is the sampling frequency of the SPAD sensor?3) I see that u mention the sensor having I2C speed of 400khz to 1MHZ, when operating at low speed does that mean the sensor is being sampled at lower rate.4) I need to getSignal rate from each pixel, is that possible?. what is the maximum number of non overlapping pixel signal rate i can get ?5) Could u please suggest an alternate sensor with appropriate MCU board that is compatible and easy to program and has many resources. Thak you

Hello,I am using ADC1 channel 1, 3 and 5. All these three inputs are connected to different sensors and I want to create a driver to read those sensors. The problem is that I don't want to read all input channels at once, I want to be able to select which channel value to get. Also I want to use DMA and conversion complete interrupt. Is this possible?  Which mode should I use to be able to tell ADC1 which channel value to convert? I am using HAL library. Right now I enabled scan mode, so after running HAL_ADC_Start_DMA() I get all sensors data.

Background:I'm trying to bring up a custom board with an STM32MP157D and DDR3. When I tried flashing the BSP, I got an error: "ERROR: DDR addr bus test: can't access memory @ 0xc0000004". I decided to try using STM32DDRFW-UTIL to test the DDR before proceeding. I downloaded the code and compiled and debugged the project for an STM32MP157C-DK2. The image sucessfully loaded via the ST-Link in engineering mode and I saw the UART with the expected DDR tool interface. My custom board does not have an ST-Link connection, so I was going to try to flash the image into sysram using USB. I'm still working with the DK2 as a proof of concept.Issue:When I try to flash the image using STM32_Programmer_CLI, the utility does not start. I am using the binary in the Binaries folder of STM32DDRFW-UTIL and trying to flash it with "STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -d STM32MP157C-DK2_DDR_UTILITIES_A7.stm32 0x01 -s 0x01". I get the following output and nothing on the UART:--------------------

what should i do..?

Dear Team, I am using an STM32F407VET6 controller with STM32CubeIDE and FreeRTOS. I’m encountering a problem with thread management in my application. Please find below an overview of my setup: Mutex: Used for UART communication. osTimer: Configured to generate a 1-millisecond periodic interrupt, primarily used to check received frames from the serial/UART. Once a complete frame is received, the data is placed into uartQue. Message Queues: One for UART communication (uartQue) with a message count of 2. One for TCP communication (tcp_messageQue) with a message count of 16. Tasks: http_task: Used for configuring UART settings. tcp_task: Retrieves data from the TCP/IP socket and places it into tcp_messageQue. serial_task: Gets data from tcp_messageQue and sends it over UART. It also retrieves data from uartQue and sends it over the TCP/IP socket. All tasks are currently running at the same priority (osPriorityNormal). the stack size for all task is 4096   The http

IT IS POSSIBLE TO KNOW HOW TO CALCULATE MCU INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF STM32H743ZITX SERIES IF YES THAN HOW I DO IT GIVE ME CODE AND PROCESS ....

Hello, I'm using it with a custom board. I'm facing problem with switches the ST25R95 into low power consumption mode When I send Calibrate command, it can work and return 0x78. But if I send another command like wake up in IRQ_IN(07 0E 08 01 00 38 00 18 00 00 60 00 00 00 00 00) or tag detection(>0x07 0E 0A 21 00 79 01 18 00 20 60 60 70 80 3F 08),ST25R95 return me just 0xFD,I don't know why.   Kindly help me out.

hi, i m working on SDRAM for H750 Disco board, saw the schematic diagram(enclosed) shows pin PH5 - SDNWE, PH6 - SDNE1, PH7 - SDCKE1. But STM32CubeIDE has the wrong connection PC0, PC2 and PC3 as shown enclosed.I managed to change the pin of SDNWE to PH5, but PH6 and PH7 were not an alternative pin to SDNE1 and SDCKE1. i  tried to use GPIO Pin instead for PH6 & 7 but my code couldn't worked. (the same code worked on STM32F750 Disco board)  Could anyone advise what to do

When I chose to use stm32cubeide to create a new rtos project for zet6, this is what I did:Also select the V2 version of freertos and leave the rest as defaults：After selecting Generate Project and compiling, I am having problems:Description Resource Path Location Typefatal error: freertos_mpool.h: No such file or directory cmsis_os2.c /zet6RTOS/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/CMSIS_RTOS_V2 line 33 C/C++ Problem and If I choose to comment out these two header files, it tells me that systick is undefinedHow should this be resolved? Thanks.

Dear community members,I have three questions about the AEK-POW_BMS63EN require answers and input from experts:1. After running the example of AEK-POW_BMS63EN, everything is ok; however, the fault LED on  is always high in AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 even thought the F1 and F2 parameters are 0. Is there any issue related to the board or system?2. How to place the NTC sensor on the AEK-POW-BMSHOLD (the manual does not state this clearly)?3. Is there any function to read current of each cell? Any help would be very much appreciated.TH.

Hi Team,   Could you please let if SPC58NN84E7 supports for asymmetric encryption. I could find the information regarding asymmetric encryption in the spc58 cybersecurity reference manual

Hi,I’m encountering an issue with linker file generation in STM32CubeMX for the STM32H56VGTX MCU. When I generate the code using CubeMX, it produces linker files configured for the STM32H563xx family, which has 2048 kBytes of Flash memory. However, the STM32H56VGTX has only 1024 kBytes of Flash memory.I’ve attached the linker files in .txt format that CubeMX generates for reference. Does anyone know why this happens? I understand that I can manually adjust the linker file to resolve the issue, but I’d prefer to fix the problem with the automatic generation to avoid potential issues and errors in the future.  Thank you in advance.

After installation of SPC5-Studio Green, I have copied my HighTec license file into C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\licenses, however SPC5 is showing the following screen. The path it wants for the license file is 'null'. What can I do to get the license file to be recognized correctly? If this license is not working correctly will the software be able to run properly? I have an ECU with code generated in Simulink using the SPC5-Studio compiler, does it need the license to be recognized for that compilation to work correctly?

Where to find the code for driving L9963E board for BMS? In SPC5 studio, only some part code is present. Please help I tried finding in documentations but it didn't work.

Hello. I am trying to setup UART on my STM32 using the HAL library and without using the .ioc file for auto-configuration. I first had a test project using the .ioc file to help me setup UART and was able to transmit data. However, when I do it myself and use a logic analyzer to observe TX and RX, I see that no data is being sent. Below is the code for my STM32L476RG. What am I missing? Thanks. #include "main.h" void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(); static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(); UART_HandleTypeDef huart1; int main(void) { HAL_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); uint8_t tx_buff[5] = {1,2,3,4,5}; while (1) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, tx_buff, 5, 100); HAL_Delay(1000); } } void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; if (HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } RCC_OscInitStruct.O
