Devkit - NUCLEO-H563ZI IDE - STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.1 Build: 22882_20240916_0822 (UTC) Details - Trying to create a sample program for FDCAN in which the program transmits the data using the CAN protocol. I have tried different methods but was not able to succeed.  Sanity Checks - Browsed for different tweaks and fixes but none of them worked for me. We're using the STM32WLE5JC to develop a LoRa-based project. We are looking into testing our sensor in a very specific environment with very specific settings - the TX power and Spreading Factor. Can these two be manually configured? Thanks

Hi all,    I work on a STM32MP153 device and I used the command echo mem > /sys/power/state to put CPU A7 in Cstop mode, but I still have MCU running. Before to enter suspend mode I have shared some memory buffers with MCU M4 with virtio RPMSG (as recommended). In such case the suspend procedure doesn't come to end and it freezes in the middle. If DMA buffers are not allocated everything works. I have stopped every write operation from MCU M4 to don't interfere with the suspend process, but it freezes as well.   Thank you in advance    Andrea

Hello , i am working for the first time on TouchGfx and learning step by step some basics about it . I currently encountred a problem with QR Code Feature . If i put an URL Link longer than 17 characters ,it wont be shown after i run the simulation .  Is it a commun Problem ?

Hello , what is maximum data transmission and reception size (buffer size allowed ) using 434Mhz frequency ?? also what is sync word and preamble setting and encoding mechanism used in controller any one know details about this please let me know

Hi,I want to show a circle progress like below:In touchgfx's circleProgress, there is't the little circle at the progress line end;So I am drawing the little circle and update its position realtime; Is there any simpler way to do the same things? And more, I need the sine() and the cosine() to calculate the position of the little circle, I find some info from HERE, but I don't know how to use it. Is there any example? Thanks!

Wanted to confirm if the input/output voltage is 3.3V or 5V depending on the I/O structure of my pin . I scoped a PWM signal with the board connected to the PC and on the dedicated pin I see the signal in  mV. I would like to send a higher voltage through that pin by connecting an external power supply then scope it , but I believe is not possible  due to its tolerance and perhaps the fact that I can't power the board anything more than 5V if i'm not wrong . I am a bit of confused on why on the scope I get the signal in mV when powered via USB.

Hi there Touchgfx team!   I have a view with a custom container list as in the ListLayout example.      class test_selectionView : public test_selectionViewBase { public: test_selectionView(); virtual ~test_selectionView() {} virtual void setupScreen(); virtual void tearDownScreen(); /** * Handler of list element clicks. */ void listElementClicked(CustomListElement &element); protected: static const int number_of_select_test_kit_list_elements = 30; CustomListElement select_test_kit_list_elements[number_of_select_test_kit_list_elements]; // Callback that is assigned to each list element Callback<test_selectionView, CustomListElement &> listElementClickedCallback; };       I would like to have the number of elements in the model, and access it with a get method. Right now, you can see I'm harcoding the "30" value in the view.  I already created number_of_select_test_kit_list_elements in the model and created the g

Hi there Touchgfx team!I have two different views and I would like to create an enum that can be accessible from both views. I want to avoid the scenario of creating the same enum twice in each view. Is that possible?  Thanks a lot in advance

Hi there Touchgfx team! I have a screen that does a lot different process based on buttons. I find myself scrolling up/down a lot so it feels its time to move functions into another file for simplicity. I want to offload helperfunctions that are in the calibrateView.cpp. Should I create a normal .cpp file or do I need to create a "helper" class? My purpose is just to help with readability and maintainability. Thanks a lot in advance!

I need to Know STM32F767ZIT6  I am developing project on these Dev board I need to know about upto 5 years are its will available in market or not

Hello,I’m trying to build an EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) application using Bitbake on an STM32MP1 platform, but I’m encountering the following error:Nothing RPROVIDES 'gnss1-ekf' (but /home/futura/STM32MPU_workspace/Distribution-Package/layers/meta-st/meta-st-openstlinux/recipes-samples/images/st-example-image-qtwayland.bb, /home/futura/STM32MPU_workspace/Distribution-Package/layers/meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp/recipes-st/images/st-image-userfs.bb RDEPENDS on or otherwise requires it)Here are the steps I’ve taken so far:Sourced the environment: DISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp1 source layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.shAdded "gnss1 gnss1-ekf" in layer.conf and appended the line: IMAGE_INSTALL: "gnss1 gnss1-ekf"Included "gnss1-ekf" in st-image-userfs.bb.Ran bitbake st-example-image-qtwayland to create the Qt image, where I encountered the error mentioned above. It seems like the gnss1-ekf package is not being found. Could someone guide me on what might be missing or misconfigured in

Hi All,I would need the link to download the ST-Link driver 2.1.0.0 from 08/06/2017.The latest one is interrupting the connection to board randomly every couple of seconds.I cannot find any link to the former ST-Link drivers, so please provide me the aforementioned one.Thanks.

Hi guys,I am read the example "STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.4\Projects\STM32F103RB-Nucleo\Examples\FLASH\FLASH_WriteProtection", and want to rewrite it on my board.my code is as follows:  HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&OptionsBytesStruct); LOG_DBG("current config: WRPState[%d]\n", OptionsBytesStruct.WRPState); LOG_DBG("current config: WRPPage[0x%08x]\n", OptionsBytesStruct.WRPPage); if((OptionsBytesStruct.WRPPage & FLASH_PAGE_TO_BE_PROTECTED) == FLASH_PAGE_TO_BE_PROTECTED) { // if WRP enable LOG_DBG("Flash is WriteProtection\n"); OptionsBytesStruct.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_WRP; OptionsBytesStruct.WRPState = OB_WRPSTATE_DISABLE; OptionsBytesStruct.WRPPage = FLASH_PAGE_TO_BE_PROTECTED; if(HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&OptionsBytesStruct) != HAL_OK) { LOG_ERR("Flash OB program err when turn WRP off\n"); } HAL_Delay(10000); LOG_DBG("system reset\n"); HAL_Delay(1000); HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); } else { LOG_DBG("Flash is NOT WriteProtecti

I have two codes, one only with the I2C4 communication working and the other code besides the I2C has the display but in this one the I2C communication does not work, what could be happening? With a logic analyzer I can see that in both codes the clock and SDA works but the SDA of the code that works seems to send always the same thing (I guess it is because the device is not trying to read the communication) but in the code that fails it sends different words.I use the I2C4 on pins PD12 and PD13.I chose them because the arduino connectors were comfortable for me.Is it also used by the LCD? because from the schematic I see that it connects to the ethernet port which I don't use.the link to the schematic is https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1381-h750xb-b01-schematic.pdf to read I am using:int readWord(uint8_t func) {if (HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c4, I2C_ADDRESS << 1, func, I2C_MEMADD_SIZE_8BIT, data, 2, 1000) != HAL_OK) {return -1;}}I tried also this way but direc

I am designing a product with an STM32G474CET (LQFP48 package) and would like to use the ROM bootloader with I2C; looking at AN2606 section 48.1, I see that I must use I2C2, I2C3 or I2C4 if I want to use the ROM bootloader. This is fine, but according to AN2606 it looks like the bootloader puts these peripherals on pins that don't actually exist on the LQFP48 package:I2C2: SCL on PC4, SDA on PA8 - PC4 does not exist on this packageI2C3: SCL on PC8, SDA on PC9 - neither pin exists on this packageI2C4: SCL on PC6, SDA on PC7 - neither pin exists on this packageIs this a documentation omission or error (i.e. does the ROM bootloader map to pins that exist on smaller packages), or is the I2C bootloader not available for the STM32G474C in LQFP48?

Hello, I'm successfully using BSET and BRES assembler instructions where the position is constant. However, I'm having trouble getting it to work where the position is determined at runtime. For example: bset 0x500f, 2 ; works ldw x, (0x03, sp) bset 0x500f, x ; doesn't work I've looked at several sites, but all seem to have constant positions. One workaround would be to have a full list of BSET instructions, one for each position, and jump to the appropriate instruction based on a decision. This wouldn't be bad necessarily, but hoping for a better way. References:assembler instructions datasheet in PM0044, section 7 (specifically 7.4): https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/programming_manual/43/24/13/9a/89/df/45/ed/CD00161709.pdf/files/CD00161709.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00161709.pdflujji's very helpful blog post: https://lujji.github.io/blog/mixing-c-and-assembly-on-stm8/eforth: https://github.com/TG9541/stm8ef/wiki/STM8-eForth-Compiler-and-A

Hello,Is there code example for writing 2 bytes to the permanent memory at runtime, so it will stay there after power off?For any STM32 or better STM32WB55.

Hi,When debug session startedtarget .elf is checked whether up to date - even though just linked - and only then debug session starts rolling. How to get rid of this redundancy ?

i'm trying to run a simple blinking led program on my stm32f103c8t6 (after i run it several times before successfully), and it doesn't work, when i fix the delay in 1000 ms the led is always on, when i decrement it to 100, 200, 300 it's working properly, but whenever i go above 400 ms it's not working:

I'm going to rip my hair out... I mean There has been an issue with rapid disconnect and reconnect of the USB on our product, where the USB stops communicating. We enabled early suspend and when an erratic error (EERR) bit occurs during an early suspend. We plan on deinit and reinit the USB. Our USB device is using a RNDIS (USB Ethernet) and CDC (Virtual Comm) interfaces. Using Device mode full speed (FS). We are not using the HAL library, We do use middleware from SEGGER emUSB.  To test that this is reliable, we added the deinit and reinit code to a one second timer on the device. It works fine until it doesn't. Looking at where it fails, The STM32 microcontroller thinks after onClassRequest, we have a get status request which was never sent from the computer, then the device stalls endpoint 0. Normally what i observed, instantly, the device would clear the stall on endpoint 0, but seems it never responds back. Then we would start the deinit and reinit process

I am using an STM32WLE5 board and running the following github code:https://github.com/danak6jq/Seeed-LoRa-E5 I have been searching all morning and cannot seem to find what the clock source (to be exact what file and line of code) is to the sequencer.  I am assuming it is like any piece of hardware and should have registers to configure it.  I would like to know what the frequency with which it wakes up at and what it's clock source is??  At this point I tend to believe it is the RTC as I cannot find anything in systemclock files that indicate SYSCLK is being used.can someone point me to where this info is?  The IRQ handler for SysTick is empty and the RTC looks like it is set for AlarmA (from CubeMX) but RTC Handler seems to call AlarmA calback which is still defined as weak? Appreciate any insight here....ps....added a cubemx pdf print out of settings if that helps. Thanks

I am currently using the STM32H7B3I-DK for touchGFX development before moving to something in the STM32H743 family. I am curios about adding a simple webserver capability while running a touchGFX UI. I have implemented an httpd server on an Nucleo-H743ZI starting from this forum. Currently it seems to be using over 300KB of RAM (collectively from RAM_D1 and RAM_D2).I am not sure if this much RAM is being used because I have not made any optimizations (as I am new to LWIP), or if this seems like a reasonable amount for a simple web server. If this is normal amount, I am thinking it does not seem feasible to try and run touchGFX and a server from the same MCU.Does anyone have any advice on the feasibility of hosting a server and touchGFX UI from a STM32H743 MCU? Thank you,Ethan

Hi guys, can someone please explain the internal trigger connections for the stm32f410 controllers to me?According to the referance manual (RM0401, see below) only TIM1 and TIM5 can be configured as slave timers with just ONE possible internal trigger source??? Or what does "reserved" mean? And most important to me: Why is it even possible to choose all ITRx for all TIMx in STM32CubeMX then? How - for example - can I choose ITR3 for TIM9 not knowing the timer connected to ITR3? I'm lossssssstThanks in advance!

Hi All, I having been using the st25R3911B-disco board for the past several months as a development tool for a project using the ST25DV chipset. Up until now I have really only had to use the iso15693writ/readblockblock functions that I saw in the cpp example project. Now however I need to write to and read from special registers on the tag i am communicating with, such as the dynamic registers on the ST25DV chip. Its not obvious to me which functions from  ST25R3911B header file I need to use to do this, can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks,Patrick
