Memory regions were visible in STM32CubeIDE version 1.14.1. Later, I updated to STM32CubeIDE 1.16.1, and now the memory regions are no longer visible.Could you please assist me with this?

Hi there Touchgfx team!I need to trigger a modal in 15 different screens, like this:  I had a similar question on another post, and the solution works if I use buttons, but not if I send the notification from the model, which is what I need. The post is: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/how-to-trigger-modal-in-all-screens-from-the-model/td-p/735616 If I use a button like this the resulting screen is the one above. If I create an interaction on the screen, that when called changes the screen to the modal, this is what happens: What I need is to call the interaction from the model, not to use a button. But the result is different than expected. Thanks a lot in advance!

I am designing an interface board where there is an ADC that needs two different power supplies (3.3V and 2.5V). To minimize this board, instead of bringing the two power supplies from outside, I would like to bring only the 3.3V one and through a voltage regulator provide the 2.5V one. Could anyone suggest a product that would be useful for this purpose? Thank you.

Hi all,I've a board with the STM32F103C8T6 MCU.My firmware has to handle a lot of IO, display and UART logic, nothing special but just a lot of logic. So the 64K b internal flash memory is almost full.I've a couple of question here:1) can i switch to the STM32F103CBT6 so that I'll have 128Kb of flash without issues?2) Is there any other candidate in a small package (like the LQFP-48) I can use? I have to use a small package cause I don't have that much space available on that board (find attached) Thanks!

I'm designing a custom PCB using the STM32F407G-DISC1 board as a reference, with the goal of meeting EMI/EMC standards. However, my design includes a VBAT connection from external battery that the reference board doesn't have. Can you advise on best practices for connecting the VBAT line to ensure proper operation and minimal noise? In the attached schematic, I've connected VBAT to the battery cell and ground. Could you please review if this setup is correct for powering the circuit through VBAT? Also, is there anything else I should consider for stability or noise reduction and minimize the EMI/EMC issue?

Hello,is there a possibility to turn on the OUT pin of the STLINK-V3PWR via openocd?I am currently using VSCode with opencd and gdb-multiarch for debugging. And I don't want to start STM32CubeMonitor-Power in the background all the time, to supply my board with 3,3 V.Thank you very much.BRDominik

Hi,I have a custom board project which I have been running for over a year and im looking to add some features to the layout. The screen is a 240x320 layout and the MCU is a STM32H757. I am running touch GFX 4.20 and it will be difficult for me to upgrade from this due to the ties within the cubide and code base.Im looking to add a page with multiple test boxes,as i need to update sensor readings to the screen. Originally i built this in custom containers as i would normally, but it kept crashing on creating on the new page. So i have worked back making the page more and more simple untill i found a threashold of it occuring when i have 38 default text boxes on the screen (see pic), the text boxes have no buffers allocated to them and this is on a fresh screen so no functions or code running.if i lower the number of text boxes to 34 its fine.is this a limitation of 4.20 ?I've tried increasing the canvas buffer and rtos heap and task memory but nothing resolves this crash (HardFault exc

Hi, I am currently implementing software/firmware for the PowerSTEP01 chip and discovered a inconsistency in data sheet https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/powerstep01.pdf. For parameter INT_SPEED (section 11.1.11 in datasheet) the equation does correspond to the stated limits. It says:i.e. steps/s = INT_SPEED × (2^−18) ÷ (250×10^−9)For smallest possible INT_SPEED=1 you get the minimum value: steps/s = 1 × (2^−18) ÷ (250×10^−9) = 15.25For largest possible 14 bit value you get the maximum value: step/s = (2^(14+1)−1) × (2^−18) ÷ (250×10^−9) = 499984.74But according to datasheet equation results should be in range 0 < steps/s < 976.5. So what is correct?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

Hello,I having an issue with the LSM6DSL. It's doesn't trigger interruptions on INT1 or INT2.I'm working with the STM32WB10CC and I'm connected through SPI to the LSM6DSL. The SPI is working I'm able to communicate with the sensor but it's not triggering interruptions. Here is what i have already tried :Changing bits PP_OD and H_LACTIVE of CTRL3_C register.Reset memory with BOOT bit of CTRL3_C register.Software reset with SW_RESET bit of CTRL3_C register.Manual triggering of interruptions of both pins PA11(INT2), PA12(INT1) (Interruptions are working)Use another board (same problem)Solder another LSM6DSM (same problem)Use LSM6DSOW (same problem)I can't figure out what is going on.Here is my setup :SPI setup :/** * Function to set LSM6DS SPI communication */ static void LSM6DS_setup_SPI() { /** * Set SPI communication settings */ lsm6ds_ctx.spi_periph.spi_handle.Instance = SPI1; lsm6ds_ctx.spi_periph.spi_handle.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; lsm6

I am currently working with the STM32WB55RGV6 microcontroller, which has a total of 1 MB of Flash memory. However, after generating a project using STM32CubeMX, I noticed that the Flash memory file only indicates 512 KB of available memory.Could you please provide clarification on how the remaining memory is allocated among different sections? Understanding the memory organization would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your assistance. Thanks and RegardsSarthak Malik

Hi all,I am designing a PCB around the STM32H723 and wants to implement 4 bit SD card communication. As shown in the picture it can be done using 3.3V, with lower speeds, and avoiding these fine-pitch level translators. However does anybody have experience with this towards the STM32H7? 12.5 MB/s is to slow for my application, but 25MB/s should be enough. If there are any sources etc. I would appreciate it!Best regards, EDIT:The STM32H723 also had an internal LDO. Can this one be configured to the SD pins to get 1.8V? Or are external 1.8V level translators needed to achieve SDR25 or SDR50 ... compliant system?

Hello,Target is power from another source. STlink from USB of laptopI was wondering if the power ON/OFF of STLINK and the target sequencing will damage either the devices? I had one STLINK v2 seems to be damaged while debugging and later it is not able to detect the target, but programmer detects the stlink serial number .. With another STlink I am able to detect the target.

I am trying to create a project with Ethernet and LwIP on M4 core of NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q, but when generating code with CubeMX the LwIP directory is included in both cores' projects. This leads to an error when building the M7 core code. I am using 6.10.0 version of CubeMX. Below you can see the errors that occur. fatal error: lwip/debug.h: No such file or directoryfatal error: netif/ppp/ppp_opts.h: No such file or directoryfatal error: netif/ppp/ppp_opts.h: No such file or directorymake: *** [Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/netif/ppp/subdir.mk:91: Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/netif/ppp/auth.o] Error 1make: *** [Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/netif/ppp/subdir.mk:93: Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/netif/ppp/ccp.o] Error 1make: *** [Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/system/OS/subdir.mk:19: Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/system/OS/sys_arch.o] Error 1make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

Dear STMicroelectronics community, My name is John Peterson, and I am trying to develop on the NUCLEO-H723ZG board. I am having a hard time figuring out how to make ADC with DMA and ETH/LWIP work concurrently. If I create a new STM32 project with my H723ZG as the target, and configure ADC1 as per this tutorial video (which includes setting up the DMA for the ADC), everything works great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsZLgqhqfO0  Here's some of the code that I incorporated into my main.c file:      /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ int adcEnd = 0; #define ADC_BUF_LEN 2000 uint16_t adc_buf[ADC_BUF_LEN]; /* USER CODE BEGIN 4 */ void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc) { if (hadc == &hadc1) { adcEnd = 1; } } void HAL_ADC_ErrorCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc) { int errorCode = hadc->ErrorCode; } uint16_t* process_request_adc() { adcEnd = 0; memset(adc_buf, 0x00, sizeof(adc_buf)); // Trigger the ADC.

Hi,I seem to behaving an issue getting my STM32F411  PLL to stabilize using the HSI. The code I am using shown below. Setting it to 100MHZ.  The code gets stuck in RCC_GetSYSCLKSource() != 0x08 ) continue; . It never returns 8.  I had originally got stuck at while( RCC_GetFlagStatus(RCC_FLAG_PLLRDY) == RESET ) continue;until added the flash wait state. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I have run out of ideas at the moment. Any help much appreciated. Dear Support As I am trying to get familiar with the NAnoEdge AI Sudio, I tried the followed steps to setup a demo project:1. New project -> select the EVB(NUCLEO-F401RE) and Sensor(Accelerometer - 3 Axes)2. Regular Signals : Create a datalogger -> Select the EVB(F401RE + X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1: 3 axis, 25 Hz, range-8, samples per axis - 16) -> generate Data logger.3. Regular Signals: Add signal-> From File -> Choose the neai_datalog.bin which is generated in STEP#2 -> continue but with followed capture's error: problem detected on line(s) 5.6.7.8,xxx. Could you please guide how to go to next step for benchmark? RegardsXiao Kang

Hai all,I am using SDIO protocol for interfacing SD card with STM42F446RE.But While accessing the SD card, I am facing the following issues.1. Unable to access the card, even the card size , free space etc2. Also unable to open directory, and files. Here I am using SDIO 4bit bus mode. FATFS enabled with minimum sector size 512 and maximum 4096.I tried with external pull up resistors of 10k in each data lines(D0 to D3) and CMD lines.Bit still I am unable to connect with SD card,Please help me

I am working with am STM32G0B1CB for USB communications, using Zephyr as my OS.  I am trying to have multiple CDC ACM serial ports, so that they will show up as /dev/ttyACM0, /dev/ttyACM1... on Linux.  Everything seems to work fine if I have only one CDC ACM port, but once I add in another CDC ACM my device is no longer recognized by Linux.  Specifically it will fail with the following: 36474.549454] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 10 using xhci_hcd[36474.702429] usb 1-2: config 1 interface 1 altsetting 0 endpoint 0x82 has invalid maxpacket 512, setting to 64[36474.702434] usb 1-2: config 1 interface 1 altsetting 0 endpoint 0x1 has invalid maxpacket 512, setting to 64[36474.702437] usb 1-2: config 1 interface 3 altsetting 0 endpoint 0x84 has invalid maxpacket 512, setting to 64[36474.702439] usb 1-2: config 1 interface 3 altsetting 0 endpoint 0x2 has invalid maxpacket 512, setting to 64[36474.702980] usb 1-2: New USB device found, idVendor=2fe3, idProduct=

Hello, i have a stm32wb15cci'm trying to make a hold button, that toggles a led on/off when pressed for 2 seconds. my HCLK1 is running at 4Mhz and my prescaler is at 3999, meaning it should count up every 1ms. I'm using TIM1 which is a 16bit timer, so the counter overflows every 65 seconds.the program works as intended for the first 65 seconds, but after that the timer is stuck at 0.static void MX_TIM1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 0 */ TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END TIM1_Init 1 */ htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 3999; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 65535; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIM_OnePulse_Init(&htim1, TIM_OPMODE_SINGLE) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sMasterConfig.MasterO

The datasheet suggests load of 20pF .Due to size constraints, I hope to use https://jlcpcb.com/partdetail/318914-CSTNE8M00G550000R0/C341522Most 8Mhz resonators of this size seems to have 33pF

Regarding function calls when performing SPI communication in half-duplex mode.We would like to develop a product that performs SPI communication in half-duplex mode. Are there any sample programs in which the slave side transmits and the master side receives in half-duplex mode?

Dear,Using STM32H0B0, 100 pins version.we wish to sample 1 input with ADC2 at a fixed frequency. This must not deviate and for this we use timer 3 set to the desired sample rate.In the pictures we use 100Khz, but later to go to 1Msps.So the timer 3 is going to trigger the ADC2 to take a sample each time and the results are written to the memory via a circulating DMA. The size of the buffer is currently fixed at 4096 samples. Each time a cycle of 4096 samples is reached it is moved to external memory. The settings of timer 3 are correct and controlled by toggling a GPIO port with the interrupt callback. Now if we apply a sine signal of 5 Khz at a samplerate of 100Khz we would assume that every 20 samples a full sine has been run through. This is not the case in our case. It does this every 6 to 7 samples. So what could we have misconfigured?

According to the reference circuit, R43 is 75kohm.Also UM2154 User manual said that R43 should be higher than 30kohm.What happens if R43 is 22kohm. Is overcurrent detected by STSPIN32F0?
