It is fine until validation on validation on desktop... but when it comes to validation on target, it is showing the above error...can anyone please address my issue... I am trying this since 3 months..

Hello, I have a CAN 2.0 network (classic can) running at 500 kb/s.  I have multiple STM32F4 nodes running the stm32 HAL CAN driver with no issues.  I have another node running a STM32G4 with a FDCAN driver set to classic mode.  When the G4 node is connected to the network it works most of the time, but when electrical noise is introduced the whole network slowly crashes as each node cannot send messages.  In particular the farthest node from the G4 and the G4 both stop sending messages at exactly the same moment, reporting a FIFO buffer full error.  In the course of 30 seconds of this electrical noise, however, every STM node on the CAN line stops sending messages pretty consistently.  The exact CAN driver error is not yet 100% known across all nodes, but was the BIT_STUFF error at the FDCAN at one point. With the G4 removed, but the location of the termination the same, the CAN bus does not experience any issues at the same electrical noise expo

I am unable to get the I2C line on my STM32H750VB to connect with my PCA9685 PWM driver on my custom PCB. The I2C line is constantly high, which I have seen on multiple oscilloscopes. I got the software online from a tutorial on the PWM driver and was able to run it successfully on a Nucleo-H743ZI2 board which has a STM32H743ZI MCU with a breakout of the PCA9685 so the code unrelated to board setup should work. I attached the entire code file in case though. Things I've tried: Changing the I2C pull-up resistors from 4.7k to 10kResetting the I2C bus with HAL_I2C_DeInit and HAL_I2C_Init Continuity between the MCU SCL and SDA and breakout is good Pull-up resistor values when measured between each line and 3V3 is the same Plugged in the working breakout to the custom board and took out the original PCA9685Multiple system configurations with internal clocks HSI, CSI, and PLLCLKMultiple I2C clock configurations with PCLK1 and HSIPulling NRST high (it is low on my board bu

Hi Team,  We are working with the LSM6DSOX sensor and integrating it with two different MCUs: nRF5340 and ATSAMD51, using the I2C communication protocol. We have been able to successfully read the device ID, accelerometer data, and gyroscope data. Additionally, we've implemented our own logic for step detection and step counting. Recently, we learned about the Machine Learning Core (MLC) feature, which provides useful capabilities like detecting activity states (idle, walk, run). We obtained the .ucf file for MLC, used the UNICO tool to generate the corresponding .h file, and attempted to integrate it into our application. We followed the documentation and tried monitoring the MLC_STATUS (0x70) register to track activity states. Challenges faced: First Attempt with nRF5340 MCU: Initially, we tested the MLC functionality with the nRF5340 MCU using I2C communication. However, when we read the MLC_STATUS register, we consistently received 0x00, no matter the movement or activity. D

how can i connect the module wifi esp8266 nodemcu v3 with stm32l476rg?

Device is STM32F765VI.I'm using DMA to fill data allocated from DTCM, for some reason this seems to be caching. My understanding is that DTCM doesn't need cache management, help me if wrong here.  If I don't enable the data cache everything works as expected here.Ultimately, I'm using the QSPI peripheral, DMA2 stream 2, target address is less than 0x20020000, I seem to be missing some core understanding here.

I think I may have found a bug with the STM32G4 RTC that I am not seeing in the errata.I am using the RTC on STM32G4 with a 32.768 KHz LSE oscillator. I am having a issue where I would read the RTC twice fairly close together in code. I observed that occasionally on the 2nd read of the RTC the SSR value would increase without a change to either the TR or DR. I tested with shadow bypass both enabled and disable and I observed the same behavior.I tried to profile the SSR values that I would get which triggered this condition and I noticed that the 2nd read was often 3 more than the 1st read (ex. 22492 and 22495) but sometimes the 2nd read was even more. It also seemed that multiple least significate bits of the 1st read were 0; I suspect that this could be explained by the fact the RTC is not on the same clock domain and I happen to be reading the SSR in the middle of a decrement before the bits are stable.I seem to be able to work around this by reading the RTC registers 2 tim

Hi everyone,I'm using the STM32F407 for CAN Communication with the Loopback Mode. I'm trying to send a cyclic frame using a timer.I'm using the timer2 with a clock of 84MHz (APB1), a prescaler of 8399 so i will have a tick every 1ms and a period of 1000 - 1 because i need a cyclicity of message sending every 100ms.I only get the data transmitted to the RxData by calling  CAN_Rx_Callback(&hcan1); in the main function. This way, i'm not sure if i'm sending data every 100ms or i'm sending data all in once. How can i update my code to resolve this problem.

Hello, I flashed my stm32h573 with a program to set it to standby mode, but didn't setup the wakeup pin and it has a 5 sec wdg timeout. The error I am having is that it "can't connect to the target" to flash it with different code or to erase the flash 🥲🫠I "think" it's not able to connect because it doesn't have enough time to connect due to the watchdog. As it does a system reset every 5 seconds.Any recommendation on how I can get it to connect or erase the flash?is there any way to save this board?!?I have tried: all gave me the same error of can't connect to target1. stm32cubeide debug2. Keil erase flash3. j-flash lite to erase chip I am going to try the stm32cubeprogrammer later today, after I download it. **** edit ****This is the error message I receive from stm32cubeprogrammer when I try to connect the dev board

Hello. I have a problem with my code. I's supposed to send to the computer "00 82 00 00 01 01", however it sends "00 82 00 00 00 00". It can happen that the last four bytes are garbled. I've tested by printing pretty much up to the HAL functions, yet all of the test come out good. I don't know what's wrong here. Please help. Here's the code, it's as minimal as I could've made it:main.c: /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2024 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ************************************************************************

We recently developed a custom STM32WL5MOCH-based board.  The VREF+ output is not supplying anything right now.  The GPIOs seem to be floating and do not output anything.   We're using the Visual Studio Code environment and simply imported the CMake project created by CubeMX.    VDDA is measured at 3.3V.  VREF+ output is measured at 0.008V to 0.03V.  The GPIOs all read 0.5V to 0.6V, they do not Push / Pull and seem to be floating.    The LEDs are properly inserted and can activate as verified by external probing.   We have tried eliminating the RTOS / SubGHZ middleware to start from scratch, but the results are the same.   We have tried changing the system clock mux from HSE to the internal MSI RC, but the same results occur.   We tried changing the sys timebase source from TIM17 to SysTick, but nothing changes.   We figure there is something wrong with the software configuration, but aren't

I'm working with an STM32H753 MCU and trying to receive messages from a PC via UART to implement a simple state machine. The idea is that the MCU should switch to different states based on the received message.Initially, I attempted to use fgets(message, sizeof(message), stdin);, but the buffer named message seems to be empty after receiving, and I get nothing when printing it using printf("\r\nThe sentence is: %s", message);. Is this the correct way to do so?

Hi everybody,First of all I don't have experience in FOC.I have profiled the motor, and the procedure was succesfully completed.I use the motor profile to create a FOC project. When I try to start the motor using the Motor Pilot an Overcurrent Error appen (in both mode speed and torque). Now in normal motor drive the closed current loop regulate the 3-phases motor current by monitoring the current and comparing it to the setpoint created with torque reference respectto the electrical motor angle, this means that if no short circuit is present, is not possible to get Overcurrent error. Now in FOC the electrical angle before the motor start must be generated in some way that is not clear to me.I try to change some paramiter as suggested in the help of Overcurrent error, but nothing change.Any try give always Overcurrent error.Using an osclilloscope to investigate, no current flow to the motor phases but systems give this error.Board is ok because with 6 step methode everything work correct.

Hi,I´m trying to get a STM32H747 Discovery board together with USB Host to operate at 1.8V VDD.At 3.3V VDD_MCU USB is working fine! What I´ve done:1. Removed jumper on JP3 and supplied VDD_MCU with 1.8V.2. Removed SB10 and supplied VDD33USB with 3.3V.3. Removed R33 and supplied USB_VDDIO (pin 32 on USB3320) with 1.8V.4. Verified that R136 is not mounted and R137 is mounted. What is working:A. The MCU is working fine at 1.8V. I´m running at 400MHz at voltage scale 1 (using the SMPS).B. VBUS is started (USB3320 controls U2) and LD7 lights up.C. When a usb device is inserted, its looks like its recognized. The usb stack connects a device, initiates a reset and then I get Control Errors. A had a look around the forum and found this post:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-check-compatibility-on-usb-ulpi-transceivers-with-stm32/ta-p/657275However, the REFCLK for the USB3320 is 24MHz, so not sure that post above is what I´m seeing. The reason I need 1.8V IO operation is that I´m

Hi,I have downloaded "GestureEVK_v1.5.0" and tried "gesture recognition" function. It can be launched by GUI and worked well.I also downloaded "STSW-IMG035_F401" and tried to run "gesture recognition".However, it keeps printing the messages as shown below.I have no idea how to let "STSW-IMG035_F401" start running "gesture recognition" and output results through UART after downloading to NUCLEO-F401RE?(No need to enter a start aommand.)Could you guide me in detail about how to modify the code of "STSW-IMG035_F401" to achieve this objective?Thank you. Hardware: NUCLEO-F401RESoftware: STSW-IMG035_F401Sensor: VL53L8IDE: STM32CubeIDE 1.16.0

Hi. I have question regarding VL53L8CX ToF sensor. The minimum distance is 2cm. The space between the objects being measured is less then that. Was wondering if it will be possible to reflect the light off from a mirror at 45 degrees to increase the distance between sensor and object being scanned? Thanks for the assistance Jonathan

During the user-defined BL upgrade process of the STM32, is it possible to keep an IO pin, which has already been pulled high in the user code, at a high level throughout the entire sequence of steps: 'jumping from the user code to the BL, erasing and writing the flash, and then jumping back to the user code after the upgrade is complete'? This IO pin is not used during the upgrade process. The essential requirement is to avoid resetting the peripheral states during the BL upgrade process.I noticed that my IO pin was automatically reset after jumping from the user code to the user-defined BL code.

I am interfacing many 5.2VDC signals with an STM32F103VET6 MCU, using PB0,PB11,PD9,PD10,PD11,PD12,PD14 as input. According to the datasheet these pins are 5V Tolerant. In the past, regardless of a pin's "tolerance" to 5V I have always used a level shifter to change this 5V signal to a 3.3V signal before it gets to the MCU; Just to be a safe voltage. This application I am trying to limit the number of parts on the PCB for small size. Testing on the designed board seems to work and the MCU seems to tolerate this well, but for long term use in the field is it better to run this signal through a level shifter or does it not matter since the pin is "5V Tolerant"? The STM32F103VET6 MCU manual shows "5.3.14 I/O port characteristics,,If VDD=3.3V＞2V,VIN max can reach 5.5V"

I posted recently about getting set up with the demo for the GUI application, and got great help from @SRomeo. I've now moved on to the SingleAccess Chain demo, and could use some more help if you don't mind?I am using the C4ML1T, ISOSPI1, and 2 BMS63EN boards each connected to a BMSHOLD cell holder. The first device has 8 cells connected to it, the second has 4. In both cases, there are cells occupying slots 1, 2, 13, and 14.In AutoDevKitStudio, the AEK-POW-BMS63ENCHAIN component is set up with a single chain, with two devices. I have connected the ISOSPI1 board to the C4ML1T as per the allocated pins visible on the board view, below.Once the code is compiled and generated, and the board is flashed, I get periodic LED illumination, and zero values for all data printed to the serial terminal. See video below for hardware behaviour, including how the frequency of the LEDs changes with a reset.I suppose my first question is am I interpreting the board view pin designations correctly? NSL

Hi folks.I have been working a couple of days on a project involving the STM32G070RB. The devices uses two uarts : one for serial comunication throug a USB-serial converter and one for modbus comunication. Both worked OK but now the STM32CubeIDE mark the following lines with "missing ';' " indexer marking and the UART4 stoped to work (both Tx and Rx) and the UART2 Rx IT doesnt work too.   __HAL_RCC_GPIOD_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOC_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOF_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE();  ¿What could be the root cause? The compiler gives no warning or error in the compilation. Thanks in advance.

I've updated from TouchGFX Designer 4.24 to 4.25 and I've noticed that the example projects won't load the previews. Same machine, same internet connection4.254.24

I have a board with the STM32F407ZGTx, which has space for an SRAM/PSRAM expansion, using IS62WV51216BLL-55TLI. I installed it, everything was fine.I worked with the old 68000 processor, which had 2 signals, UBS and LBS if I'm not mistaken. Upper Byte and Lower Byte. It was 16 bits too... and I could create a char* variable (C++) in memory, and it would write normally to even and odd addresses (even addresses were d8-d15 and odd addresses were d0-d7). Well, here, on the STM32, it seems that the NBL[0-1] signals are useless. I set byte access (as in the images), configured everything, and it only writes 16 bits.I made a small test program below, and it doesn't work. It seems that it always writes 16 bits. Could someone help me?I want to do the basics. A char* variable, write sequentially, and read later in the same way. I thought the FSMC did the same thing as the 68000, since it works with memory.I even looked and searched on the NET, even in an Article, like the one attached, and the
