Dear STM32 Community,I'm currently working on a bare-metal project with the STM32H723VG using the LwIP stack. I've implemented a TCP Echo Server based on the examples provided in the STM32Cube repository. The application works as expected when I open a new socket connection from my PC for each request—i.e., I send a message, receive the correct 193-byte response, and then close the socket. However, if I maintain a persistent socket connection and send multiple messages (without closing the connection), I begin to encounter an issue: after approximately 30 successful requests, the server starts responding with only partial data—typically between 5 and 30 bytes instead of the full 193 bytes. If I then close and reopen the socket, the server resumes responding correctly for another 30 or so requests.I've verified that socket creation and teardown are functioning correctly on both the client and server sides. This behavior seems to suggest an issue related to buffer management or resource ex

Hi,I am building a 3L Buck Converter with MPPT tracking, using the STM32G474CBT6.The STEVAL-10MLPVCB has a very similar concept to what I want to achieve, I based my MCU choice and other details on it.Is it possible to obtain the source code / CubeIDE files for the STEVAL-10MLPVCB? Thank you,Janik

Greetings,We're a small team designing a board around the STM32N6 and need a large external memory (e.g. 64MB of SDRAM). Due to the complexity of routing and configuring timings I wonder if there exists a reference design for such a circuit, or at least for another MCU that's sufficiently similar that we can use it as a starting point. Any guidance would be very much appreciated.Regards,OV

I have created several projects in TouchGFX Designer v4.22.1 - each with a unique 'Application Name'. I'm using the STM32H747i-DISCO boards (dual-core MCU). When I import any of these into CubeIDE v1.13.2, they always show up with this type of structure in CubeIDE:STM32H747I-DISCO  (in STM32CubeIDE)  > Application  > Drivers  > STM32H747I-DISCO_CM4  (in CM4)  > STM32H747I-DISCO_CM7  (in CM7)     STM32H747I-DISCO.iocThe problem is that CubeIDE will only allow ONE of these projects to be in its 'workspace' at any given time. The projects that were first created in CubeIDE don't have this issue. Is there a way in TouchGFX to make it such that its projects import into CubeIDE with a unique name for each?

Hey, I'm designing an stm32mpu1 board and I have the Discovery Kit (DK) as a reference design. In the DK I see the following schematic for the USB-C power supply (CN7): I am not quite sure what the point of the MOSFETS is.For the other USB-C (CN6) I see MOSFETS AND Bipolar transistors:Can someone explain what they are for? I'm trying to decide weather I need them in my design or not. Until now I always just connected the power supply to my PMIC and all I ever needed was some ESDs for protection and decoupling/bulk caps.

Dear Sir/Madam,Good day~I am currently using STM32F439ZI for the purpose of developing BMS.However, the code size exceed the internal Flash capacity, which is 2MB.To address this, I intend to add an external Flash (MXIC:MX25L25645G).May I know whether the external Flash can connect to any of the six SPIs available on the STM32F439ZI?or there are specific SPIs for interfacing with external Flash?Any guidance would be appreciated.Vince

Hello, I have been stuck on this issues where I cannot get my SPI slave running on the STM32H755 to successfully do full duplex communication. Right now I want the simplest case to work where the SPI master, also an STM32H755, sends a 16 bit data payload with a 16 bit attached CRC (so 4 byte total SPI frame) on the MOSI line. For simplicity, I am trying to send 0x5555 on the 16 bit data payload on the SPI slave over MISO with the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA() function. For now I am ignoring the received data. Right now I have the SPI master successfully sending a dummy 16 bit data at 100 Hz. The problem is that the SPI slave is failing to send anything over MISO. From debugging it seems the issue is with using DMA. On the first call to HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA() i go into the SPI error callback and i get HAL_SPI_ERROR_DMA from HAL_SPI_GetError(). On the second call, I get an SPI error code of 0x94 which I'm not sure what the meaning is as it doesnt correspond to

Has anyone successfully used this Simulink STM32 guide to write to an SD card? I am trying to run a simulink model on a Nucleo-F767ZI and write the output to an SD card. I have tried to follow the directions, but it is not working. The model can compile and run on the board, but when I check the SD card, it is still empty. I have tried different clock speeds, 1-bit and 4-bit modes, but nothing seems to work. I scoped the clock signal, and it seems to be at 400 kHz, which is indicative of it being in the initialization stage. Does anyone know what may be wrong? Thanks!

I intended to write a wrapper to access the memory section of the M24512 part. I began with enumeration using the device identification code, but instead of receiving I2C Family as 0xE0, I got 0xFF, I need to understand what went wrong. Additionally, when I write a byte to memory and read it back, it still shows 0xFF, please find trace logs attached, appreciate your quick reply.

Hi, I need to read 8 channels through the ADC in DMA circular mode, to check the channel status readd I put all channel to GND from nucleo board and two channels (ADC_IN2 on PA2 pin and ADC_IN3 on PA3 pin ) doesn't give me the correct data, you can see in the image all channels to 0 except this two.I try change the wires but isn't the problem. All code is generated from MX tool. Can anyone tell me why these two channels are not working?Attached is the entire project. This is the main file:/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2025 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this

Hello there, I see in the datasheet for the STM32C071Rx that the version N (with VDDIO) marks PD4 as supplied by the pin VDDIO in the figure 10:But the table 12 doesn't marks it as a pin supplied by VDDIO but VDD instead:Which is true? VDD or VDDIO?Thanks

I tried the Cube BLE exemple to tried to set the device name for the advertising message but I can only see the advertising address. How could I do to set the name? /* Update device name */ ret = aci_gatt_update_char_value(service_handle, dev_name_char_handle, 0, sizeof(device_name), device_name); if(ret != BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS) { PRINTF("aci_gatt_update_char_value() failed: 0x%02x\r\n", ret); return ret; }

I've been trying to build compatible Android modules (.ko) for my STM32MP25F7-EV1 running OpenSTDroid Distribution. I've successfully built these modules, but I cannot enable them with the `insmod` command because they're incompatible.insmod: ERROR: could not insert module btusb.ko: Exec format error I ran `strings btusb.ko | grep vermagic` and it looks like the `btusb.ko` is using a slightly different kernel version than the target's kernel version (6.1.78-00024-ge4076639eb90 for module v.s. 6.1.78-00024-gf31b8a21afa8 for kernel).vermagic=6.1.78-00024-ge4076639eb90 SMP preempt mod_unload aarch64 __UNIQUE_ID_vermagic330 __UNIQUE_ID_vermagic330I don't understand where I'm going wrongly. Hello friends, Hardware DetailsMCU: STM32N657Z0H3QConfiguration: Custom PCB designBoot Mode: Attempting USB Boot (BOOT0=HIGH, BOOT1=LOW)Power: 1.8V system, SMPS for CORE (as per datasheet)Problem DescriptionI've designed a custom PCB using the STM32N657Z0H3Q and I'm facing issues getting it to enter boot mode. When I connect the board to my PC with BOOT0 pulled HIGH and BOOT1 pulled LOW, the USB device is not recognized by STM32CubeProgrammer.I've verified all power rails are providing the correct voltages. I've also tried multiple cables and USB ports to rule out simple connectivity issues.Additionally, I attempted using ST-LINK for programming but that's failing as well, which makes me suspect there might be a fundamental issue with my circuit design. What I've TriedConfirmed all power supplies are providing expected voltagesVerified boot pin configurations (BOOT0=HIGH, BOOT1=LOW)Tried multiple USB cables known to work with other devicesChecked connections against reference docum

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with STM32CubeMonitor on Windows 11 where some nodes, including acquisition out, are marked as "not found" and cannot be used.I have found similar reports from other users:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemonitor-mcus/cubemonitor-acquitions-installing/td-p/660215https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemonitor-mcus/missing-acquisition-nodes-on-macos/td-p/644151I have tried the suggested solutions, such as running stlinkserver, but the issue persists. After starting stlinkserver, is there any additional setup required?Has anyone solved this issue using a different approach? Are there any additional steps required after starting stlinkserver?Environment:OS: Windows 11STM32CubeMonitor Version:1.10.0

Hey all,I was just reading out the new release of the X-CUBE-Audio-Kit and it says:Configurable latency mode and audio buffer sizes adjustable down to fractions of millisecondsDoes anyone know the lowest latency that can be achieved?I'm looking to possibly replace a codec that is doing my DSP - need to be able to do a a 5 to 8 band EQ, compression and volume control as well as mixing 2 stereo signals, but need it to be less than 0.5ms.Is that achievable with what the X-CUBE-Audio-Kit provides? Are there any low latency examples?

Hi all,Could you please tell me if the temperature sensor of the LIS2DW12 is used to correct the acceleration sensor? Thanks all,

I'm trying to achieve a modular design via i3c. All targets and controller is stm32h503cbt6. The targets hot join the bus one by one. After receiving the dynamic address, targets can send small data to controller during IBI request. But only the first 4 of them can send data successfully. The other ones only get NACK.from the controller during IBI.I'm suing HAL_I3C_Ctrl_ConfigBusDevices() to store the dynamic addresses. Later I found it can only support up to 4 dynamic addresses. The function writes the addresses to hi3c->Instance->DEVRX, which is an array with a length of 4.Is there any way to store more of them?Any help and suggestions will be much appreciated!

I get an error message when I try to connect with the STEVAL-WLC38RX evaluation board using STSW-WPSTUDIO.  I am using v2.7.2 of WP Studio.  See error message attached.

and in the FAIL.txt "The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU" When I connected my F4 Discovery card to my computer, the card's folder opened in front of me and in it, apart from the usual files, another file called FAIL.txt, which I saw for the first time. Inside the file, the error “The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU” was written.I tried to enter debug mode and this time I got the error “Failed to execute MI command”. When I searched this situation in this community, none of the solutions worked for me. I did St-link firmware update via CubeIDE, CubeProgrammer and ST-link utility. Although I did update via ST-link utility and cube programmer, it does not allow me to enter the contents to do a full-chip erase. When I asked Chat-Gpt, he scared me by saying that my card might be burned. But I did not do anything to burn the board.I connected the PA0, PA1, PB2 and PB10 pins on the board to the channels of the logic analyzer and connected the

Dear STM community,I use STM32 nucleo-f303ze with stm32cubeide , I try to achieve 4 PWM complementary signal  with controlled phase shift by potentiometer by using TIM1 channel 1 PWM Generation CH1 CH1N and TIM8 channel1 channel 1 PWM Generation CH1 CH1N   , I use TIM1 channel 2 output compare no output mode, I need to change TIM1 CCR2 in real time with pot.but it take one value and no change with pot change.can you help me to do that.Best Regards,/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2025 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. *

I´ve bought a new ST-Link V2 from a reputable electronics Vendor (Reichelt, Germany) to connect to my Cartographer 3d scanner for a 3d Printer with an stm STM32 chip. It is connected correctly as far as I know. I cannot establish any connection. I've also tried another board that didn't get recognized, so I think my ST-Link is broken, or am I overlooking something here? They both sometimes show as SN: 31FF710631315436290343, but as soon as I try to connect they just vanish. Is the ST-Link broken, or am I missing something since this is my first time doing this?

Hi, I'm using ST for the first time, I have a NUCLEO-H753ZI, and I cant find in the user manual if it is possible to program an external MCU using the Embedded STLINK-V3E, can someone help me with this ?Thanks

I am currently designing a board that uses the STM32WL55JCI7 LoRa functionality. I am currently using the AT_SLAVE firmware provided by ST for testing. I am currently trying to Transmit a signal through the Antenna on my board but no signal has been been coming through. After some investigation I have noticed that the VR_PA voltage is stuck at 0V. I am trying to transmit in Low Power mode, and the voltage on the other pins is as follows:VDDRF = 3.3VVDDPA = 1.55 VThis software has worked on a different variation of my board so I do not believe it is a firmware issue. I am trying to figure out why this particular board is not working.
