I have Stm32wb55Cgu6 board from from WeAct, With default FUS (V1.2) and BLE stack everything was okay. But when i upgraded the FUS 2.0 and newest BLE stack Full 1.22.1 . the Upgrade was successful, But I didn't got any Bluetooth connection for same code.So I decided to delete the stack and install 1.19.1 old stack with FUS 2.0, but i cant, it shows "Warning: FUS-STATE_IMAGE_NOT_FOUND". I also get the same image when i try to change The FUS version itselt to 1.2.Now neither I can Upload any version of FUS nor any BLE stack. I also used USB DFU Mode none can erase and download FUS or BLE stack at sector 0. The application just hangs up.Im using  STLink Programer V3 Set.I also tried mass erase and try to download the FUS and stack again and it wont work.I have checked after mass erase there is no value at FUS start address by reading the flash, yet shows FUS version.Option ByteI understand that portion of the flash is secured and meant to be used by co-processorWhat could be source o

Hello, my program runs to the HardFault _ Handler function, I usually use interrupt check whether there is a function variable overflow, but this time the jump function is irregular, I do not know how to judge, please help me, I will provide the relevant information you needIt finally jumped into the DMA function, but I had no idea why it would trigger HardFault _ Handler, let alone call the UART _ WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout functionSometimes, my program will jump directly from UART _ WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout function to HardFault _ Handler, in the following line, and I know through debugging that the huart 's Instance is NULL, which makes me not understand. if (Timeout != HAL_MAX_DELAY){ if (((HAL_GetTick() - Tickstart) > Timeout) || (Timeout == 0U))//this line jump to HardFault_Handler { return HAL_TIMEOUT; }I am using STM32G431RBT6, using three UART and its DMA.Thanks.

Hi I've been trying to display an image on the GUI using an image (hex array) stored in the QSPI flash (memory mapped). I've taken a look at some of the documentation such as Loading Images at Runtime & Dynamic Bitmaps. void LandingView::loadImageFromQSPI(Image& imageWidget) { BitmapId bmpId = Bitmap::dynamicBitmapCreateExternal( 185, 43, (const void*)0x90FC0000, Bitmap::RGB565 ); if (bmpId != BITMAP_INVALID) { imageWidget.setBitmap(Bitmap(bmpId)); imageWidget.invalidate(); // To trigger redraw } } FrontendApplication::FrontendApplication(Model& m, FrontendHeap& heap) : FrontendApplicationBase(m, heap) { Bitmap::setCache(touchgfxCache, sizeof(touchgfxCache)); } When debugging, I keep getting BITMAP_INVALID? I've made sure I'm in memory mapped mode.

I'm having some difficulty getting debugging working in VSCode for the N6 series.  Does anyone have a sample one that actually works?  I'm obviously using the `stlink` server backend for `cortex-debug`, and I have tried using CubeIDE to get the exact gdb-server arguments used when it launches a debug session.  However even when I do that, I still end up with a corrupted stack pointer or missing sources?   The symptom is that the debug session says something to the effect of "??@<hex>  Unknown Source".  It also seems to have problems halting the core at startup. Here's something representative of the config I'm using right now:  { "version": "0.2.0", "configurations": [ { "cwd": "${workspaceFolder}", "executable": "${workspaceFolder}/FSBL/build/<my_project_name>.elf", "name": "Debug with ST-Link", "request": "launch", "type": "cortex-debug", "runToEntryPoint": "main", "showDevDebugOutput": "none", "servertype": "stlink",

Hello everyone, I’m currently working on developing a USB audio device with multichannel audio functionality using the STM32H7S78-DK in combination with the X-CUBE-AUDIO-KIT. My goal is to use LiveTune to build audio flows and to implement USB Audio Class 2.0, potentially with extended multichannel support. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the provided example projects to work correctly on my board. I’ve run into several issues using both STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeProgrammer, and I’m hoping someone with experience using this specific board or the X-CUBE-AUDIO-KIT can help me move forward.   What I’ve tried so far: Flashed the bootloader (X-CUBE-AUDIO-KIT-STM32H7S78-DK-BL.hex) to address 0x08000000 (internal flash) using CubeProgrammer Flashed the LiveTune firmware (X-CUBE-AUDIO-KIT-STM32H7S78-DK-Designer.bin) or other .bin files to 0x90000000 (QSPI flash) Verified that BOOT0 is set to 0   Current status: The board is detected correctly via ST-LINK The boo

Hello everyone,I am new to STM32 architecture and configuration. I am trying to configure new GPIO ports and pins in an STM32H745i-DISCO board. I had some previous code for the pin configuration, but I could not 100% map it to the user manual for the board. The code is the following. I could not match these definitions to any from the manual. Could anyone help me with the mapping for pins D0-D15 on the board? Thank you very much #define LD6_Port GPIOD#define LD7_Port GPIOI#define LD8_Port GPIOB#define LD9_Port GPIOC#define LD10_Port GPIOA#define B1_Port GPIOC#define LD6_Pin GPIO_PIN_3#define LD7_Pin GPIO_PIN_2#define LD8_Pin GPIO_PIN_15

Hi eveyone!I am using TouchGFX Designer 4.25.0In the real world, you can only move a linear slider control by touching/moving the slider knob itself. One of the issues with using the TouchGFX Slider Widget is that it will instantly move from one position to another by touching/clicking anywhere on the slider scale. The graphical indicator (knob) is only there to indicate where the new setting sits on its scale of 0% to 100%.I have 16 sliders, eight of which are visible at any one time. With my application, it would be a disaster if a user "accidentally" touched a slider (scale) and moved a setting from very low to very high in an instant. I have seen one post (a medical app !!) where the designer has the same problem.++++++So far, I have half a solution and would like to ask for help on how to solve my current dilema. Thanks in advance.void ChannelFader::UpdateStatus() // Slider adjustment confirmed { /* other code here */ sliderChSlider.setTouchable(false); }Here, I h

Hello,I'm planning to use the STGAP3SXS Gate driver on SiC MOSFETS SCT040W120G3AG by ST.I want to know if there is an available Spice models for this part as I want to simulate their behaviorThank You!.

HiI' am devloping an Hardware using STM32G491RET6 where I'm using many interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RTC, USB, RS232, ETH etc.The above hardwase is not yet fabricated, but we want to develp a software before the fabricated board arrive. Hence in order to develop the code which Eval Board is required. The one which is availabel "NUCLEO-G491RE", this has only IO access available but does not have any trascivers onborad where we cannot interface.Kindly suggest the Eval board where I can use maximum interfaces as mentioned.Regards

I made a stm32f411 simple test board and I am failing to do some things with it, now I am trying to send a string using the usb cdc, the code is uploaded but the device is not shown in usb list, I have a stm32f411 blackpill with 25mhz crystal hse(in my custom pcb the crystal is PTH instead of SMD) and the code works as expected, what i be doing wrong? here is the schematic please remember it's my first time making a custom board and I was aiming a very simple design:schematic

[moved to MCU Wireless category -- p.]Hi Community,I'm quite new to the FreeRTOS and STM, so this might be hopefully only a beginners mistake.I have designed a small PCB with a STM32WLE5CCU6 to learn a bit in regrads of LoRaWAN. Now I'm already challenged with the first task. I have only used the autogenerated code so far and try to toggle a LED.As soon as the function prvPortStartFirstTask( void ) in the port.c is going to be executed I get the following message:"Break at address "0x1fff2bde" with no debug information available, or outside of program code." So I guess the MSP is jumping into the wrong address. I don't have a clue what I did wrong. The breakpoints in my task are never reached. Please find my project attached. Best regards,Matthias

Hi, we are using M41T83RMY6F for RTC function on our board. However, we have seen issue at -25⁰C and below i.e. -40⁰C. We executed a test where our board was dwelled at -25C for 4 hours and in one test we executed test at -40⁰C for 96 hours. In both cases we noticed a lag of nearly 2 minutes with respect to Universal time. The unit/board was OFF during this duration. Before test the clock was in sync with UST however post test completion we noticed lag. Can you please suggest what could be causing this issue? We do notice in hardware we have the series diode, resistor and capacitor with VBAT which may not be needed by this chip however can't directly relate it to cold test. Kindly suggest what else we can check from software/hardware perspective.

EDIT - cant find a way of deleting this, all resovled wont be changin names of thinsg in such a cavalier manner again!   I renamed a project in CubeIDE but now I'm trying to open the project I get resurce does not exist even though I can clearly see it existing! What's the story here?

I m trying to communicate through USART with my NUCLEO-L476RG but the STM console is displaying nothing. I have created a simple project:I m overriding the __io_putchar function:int __io_putchar(int ch) { if (ch == '\n') { uint8_t ch2 = '\r'; HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, &ch2, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); } HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, (uint8_t*)&ch, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); return 1; }and using it (indirectly, through __int_write) in printf: /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ float pi = 3.14f; printf("the pi number is : %f\n", pi); /* USER CODE END 2 */the code compiles without errors, however when I try to run it in the console, I receive nothing

Hi,Can I connect a 32bit bus SDRAM to STM32H7 and assign the FMC IOs as I wish or should I stick with the Alternate functions of the GPIOs?Specifically:  can I map 32 GPIOs to STM32H7 models with 144 LQFP package where the GPIO for D31, D30 etc.... (PI9, PI10, ...) are not exposed? Is there a LQFP STM32H7 with 32bit bus exposed? Thanks

I want to use the STM32G0B1CET6N and communicate to this device using USB Full Speed (FS).I chose this model, because it has the internal "HSI48 RC" Oscillator, which can direclty supply a 48 MHz clock to the USB device. Thats the configuration:  The STM32 will act as a "Communication Device Class (Virtual Port Com)" I want to supply my whole PCB using the Power from the USB Port from my Laptop (5V/500mA). So I read about the "USB_VBUS"-Feature, which I think would make sense for my application.I found this in the Datasheet:I was not able to find the "USB_VBUS" activate Box in the CubeMX configurator! So thats why I think, that this model maybe does not support this option....however the Datasheet says otherwise.I am confused! Maybe it is always active, as soon as you enable USB connectivity? Please help me.

HelloWe  are testing Memory read and Write in STM32MP257F-DK Board. We are not able to read or write into SRAM1 & SRAM2, but RETRAM and SYSRAM Works. We have enabled SRAM1EN & SRAM2EN in RCC_SRAM1CFGR & RCC_SRAM2CFGR respectively, but read and  write of memory doesn't work.   Thanks & RegardsAkshitha Pattem

Hello.I was glad to hear that the TouchGFX supportance have covered the STM32MP135F-DK. Even though it only support TouchGFX 4.24.0 and STM32CubeIDE 1.15.0 (I'm unable to download the IDE 1.15.0 ! Only 1.15.1 so I tried the 1.15.1).Right from the start there was trouble with development. After downloading the addon and installed it into the TouchGFX folder, I followed the wiki stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_install_X-TouchGFX_MPU_Addon and downgraded my 1.18.0 IDE to 1.15.1 and installed it into the default directory, which the tutorial asked me to do so. I've downloaded the required programmer before so there was no need for me to reinstall it. Before this trial, I'm already a senior developer at TouchGFX.Generated the code……and clicked the "run target" as required……finally it went like, this↓ I wondered. So I opened the CubeIDE project and tried to build it just in the IDE.And unfortunately↓ I thought that it must be wrong, however, I done everything the wiki told me.I was us

Hello everyone,I'm using a Nucleo-N657X0-Q and trying to integrate two different neural network models into my STM32CubeIDE project via X-CUBE-AI.The issue I'm encountering is that both models are assigned overlapping memory regions:npuRAM5: 0x342E0000 - 0x34350000 → model uses 0x342E0000 - 0x342E00C0octoFlash: 0x70000000 - 0x73FFFFF8 → model uses 0x70000000 - 0x700038A0Is there a way to manually assign an offset or configure the memory so that each model uses a distinct memory area? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi all,I'm currently developing test code for the VL53L1 ToF sensor using STM32CubeIDE, and I'm aiming to optimize the sensor's performance for close-range measurements — specifically in the 10mm to 200mm range — with a target accuracy of around 1–2%.I'm currently using the bare driver files provided by ST, which I’ve manually integrated into my STM32 project.I'm aware of the various distance modes (Short, Medium, Long) offered by the sensor, and I plan to experiment with them. From what I understand, the Short distance mode is generally preferred for close ranges due to better ambient light immunity and reduced signal crosstalk. I'm also considering manually configuring a Region of Interest (ROI) centered around the sensor’s optical center to help reduce edge-related anomalies. My questions to the community are:Which distance mode and ROI settings have yielded the best results for others in this close-range context? What other parameters should I tune to achieve maximum accuracy over th

Guys, unfortunately I don't know what to do. A few days ago I updated to the latest HAL version for the F4 series (1.8.3). With 1.8.0 there was a big change in the Ethernet driver, so some adjustments were necessary. I already used the low_level_...() functions from ST, which are included in the examples and are also generated by CubeMX.Since the upgrade I always get DMA errors in the function HAL_ETH_Transmit(). More precisely at the following point:/* Wait for data to be transmitted or timeout occurred */ while ((dmatxdesc->DESC0 & ETH_DMATXDESC_OWN) != (uint32_t)RESET) { if ((heth->Instance->DMASR & ETH_DMASR_FBES) ! = (uint32_t)RESET) { heth->ErrorCode |= HAL_ETH_ERROR_DMA; heth->DMAErrorCode = heth->Instance->DMASR; /* Return function status */ return HAL_ERROR; } [..]heth->DMAErrorCode then contains the following value: 0x1886486The strange thing is, simple pings, UDP and TCP echo servers work. However, as soon as the amount of data increase

Example SD Card file write example using Azure RTOS FileX with SDIO is not working for STM32F767ZI Nucleo board. Please let me know how to fix it. I used the Fx_uSD_File_Edit example is used. It is failing in getting the SCR register value on the SD Card. Anyone have any idea on this issue? Am I missing anything? Even the same thing is happening with the project created by myself for STM32F767ZI Nucleo board. What can be the solution?

Hello,I was looking at the UsbX middleware source code and noticed that the memory pools are split in 2. a) non-cached memory poolb) cached memory poolThe STM implementation doesn't seem to use this code and just places everything into the non-cached memory pool.So my questions are:1- has anyone used the split memory pools, and does it actually work? -OR- it doesn't work and that's why it was disabled by ST.2- if it is enabled, how much of a performance boost will it provide? and is it worth the time and effort to split the pools?thanks, Matt
