Hi,I have an STM32N6570-DK evaluation kit that I'm using to build a small ML demo. NanoEdge AI studio has the possibility to record a dataset using the Data Logger functionality. However that currently does not support my evaluation kit, or at least I am not able to find such option. I was hoping to use the inbuilt microphone to record sample data for my demo. Will the STM32N6570-DK be supported in the near future, or can I somehow make this work myself without official support?

Hello,I am currently using the NUCLEO-WB15CC to test STM32CubeMonitor-RF.I imported the BLE_TransparentMode example to be able to use Monitor RF. Everything works perfectly when using the default USART1 interface.I also tested the communication using an FTDI cable instead of the NUCLEO’s embedded ST-Link virtual COM port (by removing the RX and TX jumpers), and the FTDI connection works fine with USART1.For my project, I would like to use LPUART1 instead of USART1 to communicate with Monitor RF. CubeIDE seems to allow switching between UART instances easily. I configured LPUART1 in the same way as USART1, using DMA and the same settings. The configuration compiles and programs correctly, and I have successfully flashed the firmware.I am using the same FTDI cable, connected to the connect LPUART1 pins (RX: PA3, TX: PB5), but I am unable to establish any connection with CubeMonitor-RF.(Of course, I double-checked the RX/TX wiring and tried swapping them just in case.)If I use (RX: PA3, T

Hey,I'm using the STEVAL-STWINKT1B sensor to log data, and I was wondering if there's a way to do it without connecting via BLE (through the ST BLE Sensor app on iOS). I know it's possible to log data using NanoEdgeAI — which I’ve successfully done — but I was hoping there might be a simpler method.Specifically, is there a way to just power the sensor with a battery, insert the SD card, and start logging data by pressing a combination of buttons (like holding down the reset button for a few seconds, etc.) — without needing any app or external interface?Best,Anthony

I'm trying to build a STM32U5 (THREADX_ARCH = cortex_m33) project that use FileX (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-filex) with CMake.I encounter an error that say "FileX/ports/cortex_m33/gnu" is not an existing directory. Why Cortex m33 is not supported by FileX ?

when running the QSPI_Executeinplace example code on the stm32f769i_eval board, the program enters HardFault_handler() after executing GpioToggle().i just remove the QSPI_DummyCyclesCfg(),in GpioToggle() the GPIO Not Taking effect,so How can I solve this problem?      thanks

Hi ST communityi just searched the setup of VN1048F then found out there are two evaluation board(EV-VN1048F and EVSPC582B).In this user manual of EV-VN1048F, it said this EV-SPC582B is supposed to be programed as described EV-SPC582B user manual. so i just moved to UM2897 but could not find any information of that programming.i noticed this programming is the key to setup the EV-VN1048F...Regards

Hi all, I am interested in the SPSB081, it is fully compliant to ISO 11898-2. Where can I download the ISO 11898-2

I expect to re4ceive my 67W61M1 expansion board very soon. However, in looking at the CubeMX pack for the device I do not see a driver for STM32F4xx devices. Is this planned or are we on our own porting using the Pack examples?

Hi all,I'm trying to setup the SPI communication with a VL53L8CX which is connected to a STM32F401RE-Nucleo. I took some code snippets from the STSW-IMG040 package and I wonder why the bytes to be send in VL53L8CX_WrMulti and VL53L8CX_RdMulti are treated with a special mask instead of just separating the bytes like shown below:#define SPI_WRITE_MASK(x) (uint16_t)(x | 0x8000) // 1 #define SPI_READ_MASK(x) (uint16_t)(x & ~0x8000) data_write[0] = SPI_WRITE_MASK(temp) >> 8; data_write[1] = SPI_WRITE_MASK(temp) & 0xFF; respectively data_write[0] = SPI_READ_MASK(temp) >> 8; data_write[1] = SPI_READ_MASK(temp) & 0xFF; instead of just data_write[0] = (temp >> 8) & 0xFF; data_write[1] = temp & 0xFF; Is there a special reason for doing this?RegardsBastian

Hello,I am using the TouchGFX designer to create project and source files , afterward import the project to CubeIDE.I am using TouchGFX 4.23.2 and CubeIDE 14.1 .I've seen many question regards this topic , but surprisingly none of the advices solves this very basic problem for me.After creating the sources in TouchGFX, I am opening the CubeIDE workspace in the project root (not inside CubeIDE folder. From that location I've tried the following:1. File -> Open Project From File SYstem -> Directory:    Show two projects. One of the called as the TouchGFX project and the othe called CubeIDE.    None of them is exports nothing to the CubeIDE.2. Import Project -> Existing Project Into Workspace:    Import a project that *always* called CubeIDE, although in .project file there is another name.     In addition the .ioc file has another name.    Renaming the files currently did not succeed, therefor I failed to create 'operational'

Hello,On CubeMX v6.14.1 and X-CUBE-AZRTOS-WB v6.2.0, I am not able to add a USB record/playback device. This means that I cannot generate USB Device descriptors using CubeMX. Why is this not possible yet? What are the alternatives?Best regards,Navin

Hello,I plan to use a MP2 on a SOM module (probably something like the KaRo QFN-like QSMP2 module). This MP will run a linux on the A35 core and real-time software on the M33, + USB2, ETH 100 Mbps.I need 11 ADC channels to convert analog signals at 500kSPS. There is enough ADC input to do that at the required sample rate but what about noise ?The datasheet claims ~9.3bits of ENOB, this the enough BUT I suppose that obviously, this is in the best case.Activating LPDDR4 + USB2 + ETH will generate a lot of board noise and will probably degrade the ADC ENOB. But how much ?Does anyone experienced some noise measurement on MP1/MP2 device with DDR and hi-speed IF activated ?Thanks for the feedback !

Hi,I am testing an application between multiple MCUs, I have an H573, an F756 and an F439.I am testing multiple things at a time, so the code generation is helping me.In the H573 I have the flag for using the webserver without FileX, and it will define "NX_WEB_HTTP_NO_FILEX"On the F756 I don't have that. I can define it manually in the file "nx_web_http_server.h", but at code regeneration it will disappear.I don't know where to define it manually, everywhere I define it is deleted at code generation or is not defined in time. Thanks for any helpcoso2

Do I understand the datasheet correctly when I believe the internal 2.1v reference is something internal, and the AD is still operating within VCC/3.3v as upper limit? Copilot suggested this:  // Enable ADC1 and configure itRCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_ADC1EN; // Enable ADC1 clockADC1->CR2 |= ADC_CR2_ADON; // Turn on ADC1// Configure ADC1 to use the internal reference voltage (1.2V)ADC1->CR2 |= ADC_CR2_TSVREFE; // Enable internal reference voltageADC1->SMPR2 |= ADC_SMPR2_SMP0; // Set sample time for channel 0 (PA0)// Calibrate ADC1ADC1->CR2 |= ADC_CR2_CAL; // Start calibrationwhile (ADC1->CR2 & ADC_CR2_CAL); // Wait for calibration to complete Calibrate/wait for calibration ? - do I actually use the internal VREF, and the max input is corrected for up to 3.3v ?

Hi everyone, recently we have developed a custom board based on stm32mp157 mpu. We have used openstlinux distribution and the branch is "kirkstone". Ethernet is working perfectly on the Linux kernel. But problem arises when I am in the uboot mode (We want to have access to the ethernet from uboot). First, the ethernet can not find the mac address. It shows the following Error:  invalid MAC address 0 in OTP 00:00:00:00:00:00 Error: ethernet@5800a000 address not set. No ethernet found.  The I set the ethernet mac address using the "setenv" command and then I enter dhcp command to test the ethernet connection, it shows the following error:  EQOS_DMA_MODE_SWR stuck FAILED: -110 in stm32mp157 for u-boot  I have the following configuration for the ethernet in uboot device tree.  &ethernet0{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&eth1_pins_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&eth1_sleep_pins_mx>; status ="okay"; /* USER

We're using STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1 under Windows.  When generating LL_ code for a STM32C092, TIM15 init generates this code:static void MX_TIM15_Init(void) { LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM15); In stm32c0xx_ll_bus.h, the enable clock function redefines the call:#define LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock LL_APB1_GRP2_EnableClock but LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM15is undefined. It would seem the generated code should be LL_APB1_GRP2_PERIPH_TIM15for RCC_APBENR2_TIM15EN. Regards,MikeEdited to apply source code formatting - please see How to insert source code for future reference.

I would like to report a bug, I post it here as so anybody can read it.The bug concerns the GPDMA on STM32H563, but maybe it could happen on others MCUs. I wanted to use a GPDMA1 Channel from a ADC2 request, my Channel was correctly initialized, but the transfer between the ADC->DR and my buffer wasn't realized. I initialized correctly the Channel, with the correct Source and Destination addresses, in Circular Mode, from Peripheral To Memory, in Half Word size on the two sides, with destination address increment... I checked all of my configuration.Until I checked the registers themselves... The REQSEL bits in the CxTR2 register of GPDMAx weren't initiliazed, they were equal to 0 instead of 1. These bits indiquates on which hardware request the transfer is done, something we configure in STM32CubeMX and should have been done correctly at the code generation... I added so this call in the ADC configuration function :LL_DMA_SetBlkHWRequest(GPDMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_1, LL_GPDMA1_REQUEST_A

Hello, I am interested in the Stellar E and P series for the purpose of motor control, with an inverter topology that has 12 independent switches and requires fine control of the offset between some of the waveforms.1) The E series is marketed as optimized for traction inverters. Is there anything it can do in power converter applications that the P series cannot do? Does E series do something better or more easily, or just cheaper?2) Is there any difference between the HR timer peripherals of the E and P series, except that E has 2 x 6 channels and P has 2 x 8?3) How does the GTM4 of the P series compare to the advanced control timer of the E series? I can't find information about GTM4 on the product pages.4) Is it correct that the E series does not have any interface for external RAM, not even quad SPI?5) In the datasheet for E series, page 38, https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/sr5e1e3.pdf, what is the meaning of the specification f_IN = 0.01 kHz minimum? Can it not convert th

Hello,I have a question regarding VBUS sensing on STM32N6.First off, I found theGuide to USB development resources on STM32https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/guide-to-usb-development-resources-on-stm32/ta-p/790803I also read AN 4879. I want to use OTG1 of my MCU to establish a USB connection to my PC. The MCU is a self-powered device.Since it's a self-powered device, VBUS sensing becomes mandatory. In all ressources it is written that PA9 (or PB13) are used for VBUS sensing and are 5V tolerant. However, on the STM32N6, it seems that:- PA9 is not 5V tolerant- there is no mentioning of VBUS sensing functionality to this pin. The datasheet returns nothing if I search for VBUS.The Ref Manual 0486,Rev2 has a chapter 72.2.6 about VBUS detection but it doesn't help me much. But page 3750 states the following:If needed, VBUS detection must be managed by an ADC channel or an externalcomparator. It cannot be managed by OTGPHY1 since it is forced in external comparator mode

Dear Gfx Team,I worked on a project using CubeIDE 1.17.0 and GfxDesigner 4.24.1.I installed  and un-installed 4.25.0.Now, when I open \TouchGFX\mcu_project.touchgfx with 4.24.1 and press F4/F5, the version in \mcu_project.ioc is changed from 4.24.1 to 4.25.0.Why is that and how to stop it please ? Thank you

So, I'm trying to have a text that scroll automatically if the container width is too small.My costume container will set the text and then calculate the width withtextLightSoundSettings.setTypedText(TypedText(T_AVVSONORITEXT)); if (textLightSoundSettings.getTextWidth() > scrollTextLightSoundSettings.getWidth()) { scrollText = true; pixelToScroll = textLightSoundSettings.getTextWidth() - scrollTextLightSoundSettings.getWidth(); }Then, in the container's tick handle eventvoid lightSoundItem::handleTickEvent() { lightSoundItemBase::handleTickEvent(); if(scrollText) { static int16_t pixelScrolled = 0; static bool scrollRight = true; if (scrollRight) { if (pixelScrolled < pixelToScroll) { scrollTextLightSoundSettings.doScroll(1, 0); pixelScrolled += 1; } else { scrollRight = false; } } else { if (pixelScrolled > 0) { scrollTextLightSoundSettings.doScroll(-1, 0); pixelScrolled -= 1; } else { scrollRight = true; } } } scrollTextLightSoundSettings.in

Hello,Where can I find the HAL API files and descriptions of the HAL API for the STM32F411 microcontroller?

When looking at the datasheet for the ST67W611M1, it seems that pins CHIP_EN, SPI_CS, and SPI_RDY are all High active.  Is this really correct, or are some signals simply missing the bar on top? Also, the description for pin BOOT doesn't indicate which value is for SPI and which one is for UART.  Could you please clarify? Finally, are RESERVED pins simply NC, or should I do something else with them? (The forum labels apparently haven't been updated yet to include "Wifi".) Thanks,Lars

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a custom board featuring an STM32H747, and my goal is to implement a firmware update mechanism via the I2C interface. Since I'm a beginner when it comes to bootloaders (especially with dual-core microcontrollers), I'm reaching out for some help.I don't have physical access or the ability to control the BOOT0/BOOT1 pins of the MCU. This means I must rely exclusively on a custom bootloader residing in the internal Flash. This bootloader will need to handle receiving the new firmware via I2C and subsequently programming the Flash. Can anyone help me out? I'm not sure where to start. Thanks a lot for your time and support!
