Hi, I previously successfully trained an st_yolo model for the stm32h7 board using VSCode. I now got the N6 disco board and cloned the new github page for modelzoo. After running the stm32ai_mai.py program and having pointed the .yaml file to the correct training path, I get the following error: ValueError: Could not find any .tfs labels files in directoryMy dataset is yolo formatted.I did not get this error previously and am a bit confused by it. Am I in the right road at least and what should I do next?thanks

Could you tell me the minimum DC current gain(hFE) for the BUF420AW？

Hello, I am using an STM32 Nucleo F746ZG board.I need to make an application where one board can transmit some firmware over to the second board via UART, and the second board will use it's default bootloader to read and flash that firmware. However, according to documentation I read here: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an2606-stm32-microcontroller-system-memory-boot-mode-stmicroelectronics.pdf, on page 212, it mentions that the bootloader can only use USART1 or USART3. I cannot use USART3, since I am already using that as a VCP for debugging printf messages. Thus, I have to use USART1. However, the problem is that the USART1 pins, PA10 and PA9 pins it requires me to use, are already being used here:The PA10 pin is being used as USB_OTG_FS_ID, and the PA9 pin is being used as USB_OTG_FS_VBUS. From what I read online, I think these pins are important if I want the STM32 to communicate with my laptop right? If so, then how am I expected to use USART1 to flash firmwar

I have 3 potentiometers, one on each channel of the ADC, that vary 3V. The ADC reads the values and converts to voltage.I have not been able by reading the datasheet and looking at some examples online to figure out how to get it to work using interrupts (with DMA it works).I attach the entire project, can you kindly check it? Thanks!

Hi,I'm using a STM32H523CC to receive 24 bit data frames via SPI. The SPI acts as receiver-only and is configured as follows:Within my application I do not make use of the HAL-functions but have overwritten the SPI2_IRQHandler(). There I continuously read the data from the SPI RXDR register as soon as the SPI_FLAG_RXP is set. When some overflow/error-flags are set, they are cleared:void SPI2_IRQHandler(void) { #ifdef USE_IRQ const uint32_t trigger2=SPI2->SR; if ((trigger2 & (SPI_FLAG_MODF | SPI_FLAG_OVR | SPI_FLAG_FRE | SPI_FLAG_UDR|SPI_FLAG_RXP)) != 0UL) { if ((trigger2 & SPI_FLAG_RXP) != 0UL) handleRxc(); // reads from SPI2->RXDR /* SPI Overrun error interrupt occurred ----------------------------------*/ if ((trigger2 & SPI_FLAG_OVR) != 0UL) { __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_OVRFLAG(&hspi2); } /* SPI Mode Fault error interrupt occurred -------------------------------*/ if ((trigger2 & SPI_FLAG_MODF) != 0UL) { __HAL_SPI_CLEAR_MODFFLAG(&hspi2);

I want to use LPTIM1 of the STM32G0x1 to wake up the MCU, if it's not already awake, and start a DMA multichannel single conversion. I think I know how to do the DMA/ADC part after getting the ADC_MultiChannelSingleConversion example running; I'll the code from that project to this one later.. But the most part is waking up. Here's the relevant part of what I have:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LPTIM1_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ /* Enable Power Clock */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); RCC->IOPSMENR = 0x0000u; RCC->AHBSMENR = 0

quote from hardware development application note -"VDD3V3_USBHS must not be present unless VDDA1V8_REG is present, otherwise permanentSTM32MP15x lines damage can occur. It must be ensured by PMIC ranking order or withexternal component in case of discrete component power-supply implementation."this seems to contradict that (another quote) - "VDD3V3_USBFS is used to supply OTG_VBUS and OTG_ID (PA10) pins. Therefore,VDD3V3_USBFS must be supplied as well when USB high-speed dual-role-port or USBhigh-speed device is used. If not used, it must be connected to VDD."along with quote - "VDD_DSI, VDD_PLL and VDD_ANA must be connected to VDD" so essentially VDD= VDD_DSI = VDD3V3_USBFS = VDD3V3_USBHS Then VDD3V3_USBHS  WILL be 3.3V before VDDA1V8_REG is 1.8V will it not? what i am essentially asking about is whether or not i can avoid having to use a whole other buck converter just to be able to supply VDD3V3_USBHS later after VDDA1V8_REG has reached 1.8V

Hello,I'm currently working on an STM32 project using FreeRTOS, and I'm facing an issue with UART2 communication when interfacing with a GPRS module.Project Setup:UART3 is used for debugging (connected to a PC terminal) and is functioning correctly.UART2 is used for communication with a GPRS module. Both UART2 and the GPRS module operate at 3.3V logic levels. The firmware uses STM32Cube HAL drivers and FreeRTOS.What I’ve Verified:The GPRS module was tested by connecting it directly to a PC using a USB-to-Serial converter, and it responds correctly to AT commands.I also performed a loopback test on UART2 (connecting TX to RX), and it worked as expected — transmitted data was received correctly.Issue Faced:However, when I connect the GPRS module to UART2 (TX to RX, RX to TX, GND to GND), I observe that:The UART2 interrupt triggers continuously, even when nothing is being sent. The receive buffer fills with random or garbage data.As a result, I’m unable to communicate with the GPRS module pr

I am usi the IDLE event functionality of UART with HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_IT() on an STM32G473QET6 controller. Is there a way to change the idle timeout using STM32CubeMX, or are there alternative methods to modify this setting?

the document said, the correction factor is due to skin effect, but the K formula seems make a mistake (inverted). should it be Rp@fwork/Rp@fres = K = √(fwork/fres) instead, so the value is incorrect too?(as for skin effect, with frequency increase, the R should increase)

Hello Community, I've been stuck at this now for some time. I created a datalogger using the tool in NEAI studio, got a .zip file containing the Metadata.json and the neai_logger.bin. The .bin i flashed to the BOXPRO and i get a output using a STLink like the DL tool suggested. When i try then try (Anomaly Detection) Add Signal -> Log Signal from Serial USB and connect to the port that worked in Putty/TeraTerm, i get a warning "No data detected, please check COM-Port and try again"Is there something i missed?all the best

I have an issue to understand the MCU blocks for JPEG encoder. I have an stm32h743 MCU which is connected to a video decoder with dcmi interface. In ram I have the captured 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 YCrCb 4:2:2 output. Saving the captured data from ram to a debug file, I can see the image is captured properly. The byte stream looks like: Cb0-1, Y0,Cr0-1, Y1, Cb2-3, Y2, CR2-3, Y3 .... total 720Y and 360CB and 360 CR, total 1440 bytes + 8 byte blanking per line. And I have 240 lines so the resolution that I am capturing is 720x240.As described in the AN4996, each 4:2:2 MCU contains 256 bytes organized as two 8×8 Y blocks plus one 8×8 Cb block plus one 8×8 Cr block. For a 720×240 image, I should need 45 horizontal MCUs × 30 vertical MCUs = 1,350 total MCUs. My confusion is the two Y blocks. I implemented the two Y blocks as:Y1 first row:y0, y1 ... y7Y1 second row:y16, y17...y23Y2 first row:y8, y9, ... y15Y2 second row:y24, y25 .. y31Is this correct? So Y1 contains the first 8 pixel columns,

Hi,I am working on a lighting control project and looking for an STM32 evaluation board that supports native DALI interface.By native support, I mean:The MCU or board includes a built-in DALI transceiver or dedicated hardware for DALI communication. It has UART or GPIOs pre-configured for DALI timing. The board is supported by official firmware libraries for DALI protocol handling.Does ST offer any evaluation boards or MCUs with these features built-in? Or would I need to implement DALI support entirely in software with an external transceiver?Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks and Regards,Yaadesh S

Hello,I am developing bootloader application inside of FSBL project. When I build the project, I am getting error. You can see error below.I did some search about "DSO" but I did not find exactly what cause this error or how should I fix this? Because my application and extmemloader has same configuration and I can build them.(I changed GNU tool version for FSBL but it also did not work.)  Thanks for help,Best Regards.make -j20 all arm-none-eabi-gcc "../Usr/lib_bootloader/Bootloader.c" -mcpu=cortex-m55 -std=gnu11 -g3 -DDEBUG -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32N655xx -DTX_INCLUDE_USER_DEFINE_FILE -DTX_SINGLE_MODE_SECURE=1 -DUX_INCLUDE_USER_DEFINE_FILE -c -I../../../FSBL/Core/Inc -I../../../Drivers/STM32N6xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../../../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32N6xx/Include -I../../../Drivers/STM32N6xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../../../Middlewares/ST/STM32_ExtMem_Manager -I../../../Middlewares/ST/STM32_ExtMem_Manager/boot -I../../../Middlewares/ST/STM32_ExtMem_Manager/sal -I../../../Midd

Hi,I am trying to establish a successful transfer using SPI in master full duplex DMA mode using a NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board (STM32H7RSxx family)..The runs and SPI data can be seen from the MOSI pins, but with one problem: data is not successfully sent.In the following photo:504B @50MHz are being transmitted (CH1 trace - yellow one - is SCK, CH2 trace is CS):total time of transmission is:20us * 3.1 = 62usvs(504*8/50e6) = 80.64uswhich is the time required for such a full transmission, meaning that approx. 116 B (according to these numbers) are missing on transmission. However, when I read the GPDMA_CxBR1.BNDT[15:0] (previously programmed to 504) after GPDMA TC Irq, its value is 0, meaning that all the 504 should have been transmitted... But that's not true according to oscilloscope analysis. So ... what is the missing piece? Maybe an LLI setup? Thanks,s.

My colleagues reported problems with data loss when using the X-CUBE-EEPROM library with STM32G473RET6 processors. The data loss occurred after a long period of using or testing embedded systems (switching them off and on quite frequently). I decided to investigate further. Ultimately, I discovered that the primary error was on our end: most of the virtual addresses used in the firmware exceeded NB_OF_VARIABLES. I investigated further because I initially suspected that the recovery process after a power failure while writing to or erasing a FLASH page was inadequate. While testing, reading the documentation, and reviewing the code, I discovered a missing boundary check and few other issues. The inadequate boundary check is in the EEPROM library. The "eeprom_emul_conf.h" configuration file contains a line#define NB_OF_VARIABLES xxx /*!< Number of variables to handle in eeprom */My colleagues misunderstood the purpose of NB_OF_VARIABLES. They thought it indirectly defines how many Flas

Hello,I recently purchased the STEVAL-25R3916B board and it functions correctly with the out-of-the-box demo. However, I’ve been unable to get it working with any of the available software tools, such as the ST25R3916 Discovery GUI or ST25-PC.I’ve confirmed that JP14 is correctly configured, the board is set to USB mode, and I’m using the correct USB port as per the documentation. Despite this, the software does not detect the board. From what I’ve seen in the forums, this appears to be a recurring issue, but I haven’t come across any clear or official resolution.Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning everyone On the https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-autodevkit.html, the en.stsw-autodevkit.zip file is not opened properly. I tried winrar and 7zip file manager, but it results in an error when opening the compressed file. How can you help me? I didn't even find a previous version downloadable to buffer. Thank you.

I'm designing a custom PCB with STM32U545NEY6Q and I don't need to use the SMPS, only the LDO. I'm not sure how to connect the SMPS, I found a post about the STM32H745IIT6, and followed the same procedure, but should I do that? I followed the datasheet recommendations and connected the pins as shown in the image below.I didn't find a similar version of the MCU without the SMPS, and the MCU dimensions fit my design perfectly. Can you tell me if this connection will work? Or recommend another similar MCU, from the STM32U5 series, without SMPS?

Hello,I have designed the same schematics of the website : The output should be 18V and no significative current (1-5mA output because MCU off). I have tested the input voltage at [80 ; 200] V and I have the same problem. The chip try to start during 400ns and stop during 1sec.I can confirm there is no problem on the output because I have checked the output. The transformer is a wurth : 7508111324The transformer parameter is : The VCOM is always 3.3V during the start-up and it doesn't "move".The yellow is ILIM pin and blue is DRAIN : do you have any idea ?

Hi all,I would like to ask for your support regarding an issue I’m facing when trying to bring up a 24-bit RGB panel using the LTDC interface. When using an LVDS panel, the display works correctly and powers on as expected. However, when switching to an RGB panel, I’m unable to get any display output — the screen remains blank.I have already disabled the LVDS configuration when switching to RGB, but it had no effect.Additionally, I’ve tried adjusting the CK_KER_LTDC (MHz) setting in the Clock Configuration. When I check clk_summary, I can confirm that the LTDC clock has been updated. However, this change causes the backlight to turn off, and the system is unable to detect the panel.Even after modifying the clock-frequency property in the Device Tree for the LTDC node, the change does not take effect. Moreover, these clock changes appear to interfere with I2S audio playback via aplay — audio becomes unstable or stops working entirely.Could you please advise how I might resolve this issue o

Split from stm32f469I-Disco - TouchGFX Display stays black.Hey @Mohammad MORADI ESFAHANIASL , I have the same issue as the one above, but my TouchGFX does not have the version of stm32f469 disco with the au1 screen in it.I have 4.24.0 like your example. How can I fix this?

We have developed a board in which STM32MP151FAD1 or STM32MP157FAD1 is being used. I know that STM32MP15x has two device revisions, B and Z. Either STM32MP151FAD1 or STM32MP157FAD1 on the board has device revision Z, which does not have eMMC boot problem that device revision B has. Now we are going to purchase some STM32MP153FAD1 chips, but we are not sure if the chips are revision B or revision Z. The chip distributor won't provide any information about the chip's revision. Does STM32MP153FAD1 also have revision B and revision Z?

So i'm working on a way to generate pulses with both Timer 1 and 8 (advanced motor control timer) independently in OPM PWM mode 2 with the Slave Gated mode to control a each a stepper motor driver. I want to use as much as possible the hardware because sometimes the frequency of the steps are really high and the interruptions are slowing down the process. Both are using the TI2FP2 on their channels 2 (to stop the timer when raised) for some home sensors (only enabled when going on the home sensor direction by changing the slave mode) and generating the pulse (pwm) on the channel 3 with use of the RCR register to trigger the amount i want thanks to the OPM mode, and sometimes i change the ARR register to modulate the frequency of the steps and then reload the RCR register to be updated on the next UEV.I'm also counting the number of pulses done by each timer with a secondary timer using the TRGO OC1 (and that's works perfectly) to see if my motor loose steps when doing a movement to the
