Hi,We need to pre-program a large mount of STPMIC25APQR offline. So we would design a minimum system to program this device. My question is we only need to program this chip, which pins should be must. we would like to leave all other pins floated(not used). Could all the  LDOs and BUCKs not powered as we don't use them in programming.

Hi,I have an issue with the UASRT communication being abnormal.First case:Access System Bootload Mode by Options bytesAccess the Main Application by the UART protocol ( UART2)Send the first UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 that contains the UART error code: 0x4 (Frame Error)Send the same UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 again without the UART error codeSecond case:Using IDE Debug Mode, break at main()Send a UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 without the UART error codeI tried to De-Init and Re-Init the UART2, which I expect to reset all the UART2 register values before I send the UART packet. According to my test case, could I say that the UART error code 0x4 is due to System Bootload Mode? How could I fix the issue? Please let me know if more information is required.

The power cable and the USB cable for kit interface are connected properly. When I connect the interface cable as per the the quick start guide, the LabTool does not recognize any port. If I go to settings - port: I can find no port to chooseIf I go to settings - COM port - Scan port: Again, nothing happens. In my windows device manager, I can see two new devices which don't have the appropriate driver, there are named: Enhanced COM port, and standard COM port. #evalkitst8500-1 #smartgrid-labtool

I have followed the wiki to create my encryption keys;https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_perform_Secure_Boot_from_Distribution_Package#Creating_encryption_key_for_STM32MP13--STM32MP21--STM32MP23_and_STM32MP25 Which suggest creating two keys for TF-A and FIP encryption. But then in the same page it suggest we only load the encryption key for TF-A to OTP registers (i can not fit the FIP key into OTP anyways) After i build my image with the following config;  SIGN_KEY = "../keys/privateKey00.pem" SIGN_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/privateKey00.pem" EXTERNAL_KEY_CONF = "1" SIGN_KEY_PASS = "pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass" SIGN_ENABLE = "1" SIGN_TOOL = "/bin/STM32_SigningTool_CLI" ENCRYPT_ENABLE = "1" ENCRYPT_FSBL_KEY = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key.bin" ENCRYPT_FSBL_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key.bin" ENCRYPT_FIP_KEY = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key_256bits.bin" ENCRYPT_FIP_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key_256bits.b

I have generated the code generated from MCSDK 6.4.0 for the micro STM32G431CB to STM32G431RBT6 micro. My understanding is all the Hall drivers remain the same, the startup file and the .ld file will vary based on the micro controller. But i am running into the issue where ADC2 handler is getting called which it shall not as long as the PWM is OFF. There is one signal handler called as shown above i am not sure what it is? I have been struggling to understand, please help.

Hello everyone,I'm using STM32WLE5 (LoRa E5) module for sending the data from one module to the other. The Lora transmitter will be receiving the data from the UART1 which is then transmitted over the radio.I have used baudrate 115200 and tested, everything works fine. But when I change the baudrate from 115200 to the higher baudrate(921600), No data is being received by the STM32WLE5 module. Clock of the peripheral is running with 48MHz. Is there any configuration of UART that need to be changed for the uart baudrate to work properly?

I have a dynamic graph set to scrolling. When I call graph.clear(); it will set the initial graph back to my range 0-100, but once it starts scrolling it instantly jumps to the last highest value being the start of the new range instead of continuing scrolling.EX: Graphing is as expected to x = 200. Clear. Normal graphing 0-100. Once scroll starts, jumps to range 200-300 and starts graphing at x = 3000-200 : clear : 0-100 : 200-300 (graph and scrolling starting at 300)

Where to download CAD ZIP files for STM32H753I-EVAL2 board and Nucleo-H753ZI board???I can't find ZIP files in https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-h753zi.html#cad-resourcesI can't find ZIP files in https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32h753i-eval.html#cad-resourcesThank for your help,

The power supply scheme indicates to use 100nf for vref and vdd, but in the General PCB design guildines section (Figure 51 and 52) indicates that 10nf power decoupling capacitor should be placed. I am confused which capacitor is suggested for adc decoupling. Thanks.

Hi,I recently downloaded and installed en.st-stm32cubeide_1.17.0_23558_20241125_2245_amd64.sh.zip onto Debian Bookworm (fully updated). This proceeded without any errors or warnings. On starting the IDE, a blank (i.e. black window) was presented, within the Information Center tab, that did not list any documentation. When I used a previous version of the IDE, this tab then showed links to various documents. Has this functionality been left out of the current version of the IDE ?What do I now have to do in order to get the Information Center tab in the IDE to now show the links to the documentation ?Stuart

Hi,I have downloaded the firmware into the board and when I hit the start button on Motor Pilot, the motor starts up and runs perfectly with the correct slope, but it seems the motor goes past my set speed and then errors with a Over Current status.Any ideas would be appreciated.regards,Charles

I am just a bit confused about how the CDC examples using USBX work. In the sample I've seen it seems that the code sets up some sort of UART to USB bridge. I think I don't need the UART and wanted to send and process data like the classic library used to do. However, when I remove the UART code, the device enumerates but USBD_CDC_ACM_Activate is now never called. Is the UART essential to using USBX or did I miss something in refactoring the program?

I have the following settings in Cube Mx for TIM1The TIM1 is used for PWM generation, but the slave mode, trigger source, clock source are disabled then how Tim1 receives the clock for pwm generation. For TIM4 it is clearly statedSo i assume it will be taken from APB2 timer clock. One final questionIt is mentioned TRGO2 as above but how do i know it is connected to what? Please help.

should the pullups on JTAG should be given for JTAG in STM32H757XIH6, also are there any extra consideration taken care while using ARM JTAG. If pullup is not necessary, why is it so.

Hi ST,I am successfully enabled the Audio through the SAI channel I am  able to detect the card for our custom board. and using gst-play-1.0 this play the video and sound very well , also with aplay command. But the thing is , whenever i use qtmultimedia, it's playing video very well , but sound not come.when i connect the HDMI , then sound works through the card cs42l51. but when i disconnected the HDMI , and reboot the custom board , then i again i try to play video through the qtmultimedia with screenoff command then it play only video , but not given the audio output. Then i plugin the HDMI , then reboot the custom board , and i try to play the video through the  qtmultimedia with screenoff command then sound works very well, so i think the issues comes from the HDMI and cs42l51 card.is something i am doing wrong from initialization and configurationroot@stm32mp255-customedsce-9b-60-e5-21-77:~# aplay -l**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****card 0: STM32MP25

Hello,i want to adapt the STM32N6GettingStartedImageClassification Project (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32N6-GettingStarted-ImageClassification/tree/main) with a second model, so i can build a proper ai pipeline. The coding isnt the problem currently. However im facing problems when trying to add a second model to the stm32cubeide application.I noticed a stmaic_STM32N6570-DK.conf file, that seems to configure the project structure and manages the flash calls for the binaries. And i thought adding the new files from the second model would maybe adapt the project so it adds the model to the cubeIDE Project which it obviously didnt. So my question is:What do i have to do in order to add a second model to the stm32CubeIDE Project? Is there a simple trick to achieve that or do i have to add the model manually to the include paths in the Project Properties?Kind regards!

Would like to enquire if there is a qualification report for ESDA15P60-1U1M with the list of qualification tests done. Thanks

Hi allFor the STM32U5, the reference manual shows the GCCFG register as but STM32CUBEIDE showsbit 16(and a lot of other bits) are differing. Is this an error and if so which is the right one

My goal is to create a SSP payload and write it to the OTP of the STM32MP257F chip. The OS running on my KIT is based on OpenSTLinux. To get the SSP Payload, a Secret file is required. I just need secure boot.I refer to the following sources:How to perform Secure Boot from Distribution Package How to deploy SSP using a step-by-step approachWhat is the meaning of Enc/Wrap when create a secret package? How to select format type and KeySize in STM32 Trusted Package Creator? The contents of my Secret file will include the components as shown below. (Json file attached)Is a secret file with such components enough for secure boot? And please advise if there are any invalid options in the Secret list

Hello,Our board has an STM32N657 MCU connected to an IS21S08GA eMMC.We use an 8-bit bus, and SDMMC1 is configured to run at 32 MHz.In polling mode, read/write operations work, but are very slow — it takes about 1–2 ms to read or write a single block (512 bytes).I want to switch to DMA, but I’ve encountered a strange problem. As far as I know, on the STM32N6 series, the SDMMC peripheral works with IDMA, so we can't use GPDMA or HPDMA — is that correct?IDMA seems to work — the callbacks are called and no errors are reported. However, I can't read the same data I wrote. It seems the data isn't actually read at all (or possibly not written either).Note that I am using SCB_CleanDCache and SCB_InvalidateDCache as needed. I also tried disabling the D-Cache entirely — no change.Does anyone have experience with eMMC and IDMA on STM32N6?I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice.

I have manually migrated from MCSDK 6.2.0 to 6.4.0 for my micro STM32G431RBT6 from the example project as i have seen several changes in the source code and HAL drivers and i want to keep the project upto date for any future changes and can adapt easily, i have finished porting but I am confused with Regular conversion manager component, i am getting the ADC values only in the High frequency Task when PWM is ON, using the functions  RCM_ReadOngoingConv(); RCM_ExecNextConv(); But i want the values when PWM is OFF or motor is not running, can i use the above functionsin medium frequency task? If i use the function RCM_ExecRegularConv() used in previous versionsthe code is stuck. Please explain me the intention of above changes.

[PN]: STSPIN32G4[VERSION]: 6.4.0[TOOL]: Motor Control Workbench[DETAILS]:In this design, the second motor does not work as the interrupts that invoke the FOC_HighFrequencyTask by setting the motor ID into the array FOC_array[] are not enabled (TSK_DualDriveFIFOUpdate() is never called). Motor 1 happens to work as it's ID is 0 and the array is 0 initialised. Also the task TSK_HighFrequencyTask is only invoked at the PWM rate, not twice the PWM rate as it should be called once per motor, ie twice the PWM rate..[EXPECTED BEHAVIOR]: The motor 2 current should be modulated but stays at 0 as the FOC_HighFrequencyTask(M2) is never called.[HOW TO REPRODUCE]: just start motor 2 from motor pilot

Hi,I am trying to solve a strange programming related problem I am now having after updating the reset circuit of my STM32F439-based board. Below is a comparison between my old and my new circuit:The reason I made these changes is because this is a large board which resulted in noise pickup issues on the on the very long nRESET trace when it was just "floating high". My plan was to solve that by actively driving it high instead. I also wanted to add a feature where I could use one of the MCU's GPIO pins to trigger a full board (not just MCU) reset programmatically by pulling the nRESET signal low.The changes seem to have fixed the two problems I had but have now introduced a new problem where I cannot program the board easily with an ST-Link (V3 MINIE) anymore. I normally use probe-rs for programming, but have verified that the official STM32CubeProgrammer shows very similar issues. When I try to program with "connect under reset", then it seems that the ST-Link almost never drives

Hello ST Team,          We are currently desiging an ECU, which require DO that can drive external 5V automotive relays. We have identified L9338(AEC-Qualified part)  from ST for our design. Kindly confirm its selection and longevity of the part.  Thanks & Regards Lajitha

Hello,I am trying to get I2S and DMA working on my stm32wb55 microcontroller. I want to read data from an INMP441 (or similar). I did try to use the STCube IDE (or MX) to configure I2S and DMA using tutorials from the internet but this also did not work. The tutorials are all made for other ST-microcontrollers though.I either have a problem setting up the DMA, SAI (for I2S) or the DMA interrupt. I do not really have any idea where my problem lies. Just using the standard configurations from STCube do not seem to work.Does anyone here have any experience with the STM32WB55 and the SAI of this Microcontroller in particular? I am using the WeAct STM32WB55CGU6 for testing. Thanks a lot for helping me out here.
