Hi all,As part of a uni project we are developing a LoRaWAN Weather station project. We have free access (the team is operated on a limited budget) to a I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 board. This appears to be a very good option as the board has all the integrated sensors required, and is compatible with Australian frequency. How good is the support and integration with current development tools, I see the suggested board on the datasheet is still currently sold (NUCLEO-L053R8). Does anyone have experience with this board, or can point in the direction of something more suitable? Thanks

Hello,I'm working with the X-NUCLEO-WB05KN1 shield connected to a STM32 Nucleo board. My goal is to build a simple demo:Toggle an LED from a smartphone commandSend a notification to the smartphone when the User button is pressed.I would like to use STM32 BLE Toolbox as the smartphone application.Which firmware binary should I flash on the WB05 shield to ensure compatibility with STM32 BLE Toolbox? From what I’ve read, the BLE_TransparentMode_UART_with_Updater.hex firmware from X-CUBE-WB5N V2.0.0 seems suitable — can you confirm this, and indicate the exact file to flash?I can also flash : - BLE_TransparentMode_UART_for_Updater.bin- BLE_TransparentMode_UART_for_Updater_C_O.bin and BLE_TransparentMode_UART_with_Updater_C_O.hex- DTM_UART_WITH_UPDATER.bin and DTM_UART_WITH_UPDATER.hex- DTM_UART_WITH_UPDATER_CONTROLLER.bin and DTM_UART_WITH_UPDATER_CONTROLLER.hex Thanks in advance for your support!Best regards,Sheul

The X-CUBE-LED1642 software seems to have gone missing. There are no links on the web page where you can download it.Should be here: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcus-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-expansion-packages/x-cube-led1642.html Found this old thread with the same issue, apparently it's been un-fixed: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/get-the-x-cube-led1642-driver/m-p/372192

HI,i will have to use the STR25R100 in a project, and in the datasheet 3 different system diagram are proposed to control the antenna; Differential antenna; singled-ended antenna and two singled-ended antenna. Is somebody can explain to me what the fundamental difference between these 3 system diagram. Is there one more powerful one with higher consumption?I don't know which one must I choose? thanks Igor

I think it is quite natural to operate the STM32L433 at 80 MHz generated from HSI16, but is this guaranteed to be accurate? When creating 80 MHz from HSI16 in STM32CubeMX, no error occurs, but when inputting 16.08 MHz to HSE in the same way, an error message is displayed (attached files).According to Datasheet 6.3.8, the maximum frequency of HSI16 is 16.08 MHz. Therefore, if HSI16 is multiplied by 20 using a PLL and then divided by 4, the result is 80.4 MHz, which slightly exceeds 80 MHz. Considering temperature and voltage changes, the frequency may drift up to approximately 81.3MHz.According to Section 6.3.1, the maximum frequency for fHCLK is 80MHz.Does this mean that operation is not guaranteed since it exceeds the specified limits?Thank you in advance.Ken

Sir,I am working on the imp34dt05 sensor but how could we configure its parameter.Could u guide us for that. What should be sampling frequency and what is the range of the frequency that it can capture and what should be sampling frequency of pcm and what should be size of pcm output and what should be size of buffer and data size of pdm output captured by the stm32f4 controller?

Hi everyone,I'm currently working with a wireless charging system using STWBC86 (transmitter) and STWLC38 (receiver) from STMicroelectronics. Both chips are based on the WPC Qi standard and are designed for wireless power transfer.I have a few questions regarding compatibility with other Qi-based devices:If I place a different Qi-certified transmitter (e.g., commercial wireless charger) on top of the STWLC38,will it charge properly?Conversely, if I put a third-party Qi receiver (e.g., Qi-based earbuds case) on top of the STWBC86 transmitter, will it charge successfully? If compatibility issues occur in either case, does that mean that Qi version alignment (e.g., Qi 1.2.4) is notsufficient to ensure interoperability? Or are there manufacturer-specific implementations that can affect compatibility?I'd really appreciate any insights or experience anyone has had with mixed-device Qi systems. Thanks in advance!

hello @mƎALLEm , as you sugestted, i only want to receive a ID 0x002, so my code is like // 设置接收过滤器 FDCAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig; sFilterConfig.IdType = FDCAN_STANDARD_ID; sFilterConfig.FilterIndex = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterType = FDCAN_FILTER_MASK; sFilterConfig.FilterConfig = FDCAN_FILTER_TO_RXFIFO0; sFilterConfig.FilterID1 = 0x002; // 设置过滤器ID1 sFilterConfig.FilterID2 = 0x7ff; // 设置过滤器ID2 if (HAL_FDCAN_ConfigFilter(&hfdcan1, &sFilterConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if(HAL_FDCAN_ConfigGlobalFilter(&hfdcan1, FDCAN_REJECT, FDCAN_REJECT, FDCAN_FILTER_REMOTE, FDCAN_FILTER_REMOTE) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } but now, i can not receive any message. when i not add  HAL_FDCAN_ConfigGlobalFilter() i can receive every message.   but i only want to receive 0x002.   how should i do?   thanks.

I notice that in the schematics for the STEVAL-LLL007M1 STEVAL-LLL007V1, part of the evaluation kit for the LED1202, several of the A0 pins for the attached LED1202s are pulled to ground with 10K resistors.  However, in the datasheet for the LED1202 the example schematics do not show such an arrangement.   What is the purpose of the 10K pull down resistor?  And is it necessary in other designs using the LED1202?   -A

I have a custom board with an STM32C071K8T6, and I am trying to use it for its USB CDC capabilities.I have designed my circuit to use an ABM3B-8.000MHZ-B2-T ceramic crystal resonator. In its specs, this crystal has a load capacitance of 18 pF, so I used the formula C_L = 2(18pF - 5pF) = 26 pF to select the load capacitor values (C6 and C7 in my schematic). However, I do not see any signal on the oscilloscope when probing OSCX_IN and OSC_OUT. At first I thought I had overheated the crystal during soldering, but I made sure to use hot air at 260 C as recommended in the specs.I have an LED connected to PB0 that I can blink with a simple program when the crystal is connected but it will not work if disconnected. This leads me to believe that the crystal is working in some sense? But when I set up USB and CDC, I see nothing happen at all within the device manager. Will the MCU default to the internal clock if current can be passed through the crystal but there is no oscillation? I have chec

Hi! I am trying to follow this tutorial to run tflite network: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-build-an-ai-application-from-scratch-on-the-stm32n6570-dk/ta-p/825591But I have faced with an issue on step "3.2.8.2 Configure the X-CUBE-AI middleware". I want to uncheck X-CUBE-AI component from FSBL, and check it on Application. But I see this message(screenshot is attached), when I am trying to uncheck: "Peripheral STMicroelectronics.X-CUBE-AI could not be removed from "FSBL"What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I have an STM NUCLEO-H753ZI board. On the website (see https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-h753zi.html#overview) it says something about a "MIPI20 compatible connector with trace signals". What exactly is meant by that? My board only has the MIPI10 connector without the trace signals. Is there a way to get those signals from the board? Best regards, lando

I am trying to get UIDs returned for an PICOPASS ISO15693 iClass card. I am using the default analogConfig.h generated for a ST25R3916B (though am using a ST2525R3917B). I can read ISO14443A/B and non-picopass ISO15693 cards without any issues, but am unable to read this iClass card. My understanding is that iClass cards use PICOPASS, which requires me to send:ACTALL - wake up the deviceIDENTIFY - anti-collision UIDSELECT - send anti-collision UID to get real UIDIn order to do this, I am doing the following to initialize RFAL in PICOPASS: ReturnCode err; err = rfalSetMode(RFAL_MODE_POLL_PICOPASS, RFAL_BR_26p48, RFAL_BR_26p48); if (err != ERR_NONE) { LOG_ERR("Failed to set mode for NFC PICO-15693 (err %d)", err); return -EIO; } rfalSetErrorHandling(RFAL_ERRORHANDLING_NONE); rfalSetGT(RFAL_GT_PICOPASS); rfalSetFDTListen(RFAL_FDT_LISTEN_PICOPASS_POLLER); rfalSetFDTPoll(RFAL_FDT_POLL_PICOPASS_POLLER);I will then turn on my RF field and try to POLL for the UID using:static int

Any update on when the middleware will be extended to support EPR? The availability of TCPPE or devkits is not really all that important for a software update and probably should not be gating. Should I switch to the HUSB238A instead of the STM32G0?

Hello.. i m looking for H753 Nucleo BOM list, i search ST web below but its not there..https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-h753zi.html#documentation

Hi."Does STMicroelectronics have any plans to release the SPV1050 with an extended operating temperature range suitable for automotive (e.g., –40°C to +125°C) or military-grade applications?"Best Regards.

I am reading through TN0018 and saw that it is possible to have signal and plane on the bottom layer. Does this apply to flex PCB with 50-150um thickness?

We have a batch of chips labelled M27400 and another marked M37400.  Does this marking indicate the version number of the chips?  I'm seeing a difference in behavior between them (the M34700 are reporting PE states I haven't seen previously). Thanks,

Our company is currently reviewing medical device solutions for cerebral blood flow velocity measurement and embolism detection. We are at the proof-of-concept (POC) stage and have not yet planned a mass production roadmap. We have selected a TCD probe and plan to transmit pulse waves through the probe and analyze the received Doppler signals. While researching, we found detailed information in the attached datasheet for the STHV748S device and have some questions:Does the "Digital Input" port refer to the pulse wave input port? The HVP (High Voltage Positive) and HVM (High Voltage Negative) ports are specified as 0 to +90V and 0 to -90V, respectively. Does the chip generate these voltages internally, or must they be supplied externally? Is the LVOUT port the output port for the Doppler RX signal after switching? When interfacing with the TCD probe, there is only one connection port. How should HVP and HVM be connected in this case?Is this device designed only for single transducer use (1

Hello ST Community,I am currently working on a motor control project using an STM32 microcontroller and STM32CubeIDE. I have noticed that the code size (firmware image size) is larger than expected, and I would like to reduce it as much as possible to fit within memory constraints and improve performance. Are there recommended methods or best practices to optimize the firmware code and reduce its size? At present, the firmware size is:

hello,I am a student, and for my university project, we are using this stepper motor controller X-NUCLEO-IHM05A1, and I have the STM32NucleoF401RE Microcontroller board to send the command to the motor control. I see there is one middleware package for this motor controller called X-CUBE-SPN5. So, I try to search for this middleware package on STM32CubeIDE, but there is no option regarding it. Now I go to the ST website and I am looking for the .zip file, but there is nothing. I also try to find the proper use case, how can I install, and how can I use but is there any documentation available for that? So can you please provide me this package so I can control the motor easily for my university project, and if possible, so guidance on how i install this middleware package into STM32CubeIDE and how to use this middleware package function for controling the motor. I am waiting for your reply. Thanks in advanceDhruv@Peter BENSCH
