Hi,I would like to recreate the DCMIPP_ContinuousMode example but using the cubeMX to configure the MCU, I haven't found anything online to follow as example.Thanks.

Hey together, I have a question regarding changing the clock while running in XiP mode. Upfront everything works so far very well. On our STM32H750 we have a very simple bootloader. This bootloader configures the QSPI and the STM32H7 to run the appliction code in XIP. Therefore we configure the QSPI clock to use the HCLK3 in the bootloader. We use an external crystal 8MHz and the PLL as SYSCLK to generate the 240MHz for the HCLK3. Then we jump to the application code. The applicaiton code resets the System Clock Mux in the startup code calling "SystemInit ()" inside the system_stm32h7xx.c to use the HSI (64MHz) for SYSCLK. This results at first in a drop of external crystal signal as well as a clock drop of the QSPI Clock from 240MHz to 64MHz. Then we reconfigure in the application code, while running in XiP, the System Clock Mux to use the external crystal and the PLL. Going back to the 240MHz for the QSPI. So far this seems to work perfectly fine, as there is

As the title says.I am using STM32H523RCT6 with no RTOS (no ThreadX) and USBX in Standalone mode.The code is basically:MX_USB_PCD_Init();MX_USBX_Device_Init();HAL_PCD_Start(&hpcd_USB_DRD_FS); Which executes, but as soon as the USB_DRD_FS_IRQHandler is called, I run into a hard fault. The trace is:USB_DRD_FS_IRQHandler()HAL_PCD_IRQHandlerHAL_PCD_ResetCallback_ux_dcd_stm32_initialize_completeat/* Create the default control endpoint attached to the device.Once this endpoint is enabled, the host can then send a setup packetThe device controller will receive it and will call the setup functionmodule. */dcd -> ux_slave_dcd_function(dcd, UX_DCD_CREATE_ENDPOINT,(VOID *) &device -> ux_slave_device_control_endpoint);the USB_FNR register shows LSOF 0x3 as well as the LCK and RXDP bit set and the USB_ISTR has the bits ESOF, SOF, RST_DCON and SUSP set.Please help, I've already lost way too much time on this.

Hi everyone, I’m working with a custom made STM32F446ZET6 board that otherwise functions perfectly (all peripherals, flash programming, etc. work fine). The only thing that doesn’t is the ROM bootloader. I can’t get USB DFU or UART boot to respond no matter what I do. What I’ve verified BOOT0 = 1 (3.3 V) at reset NRST pulled high, no reset loops VDDUSB = 3.3 V, decoupled with 100 nF HSE = Abracon ABLS-8 MHz-12 pF, started with 18 pF load caps and lowered to 10 pF as I saw in a post here this might be the cause PA9 connected directly to VBUS (5 V)  PA11/PA12 wired to USB-FS D−/D+ (verified routing and continuity) Board runs normal firmware from Flash with no issues What I’ve tried BOOT0=1, reset → USB never enumerates Tried UART boot (PA10 RX, PA9 TX, 115200 8E1) → no ACK, completely silent. Verified with ST-Link under reset: RDP = 0xAA (no protection) MEMRMP = 0x0, VTOR = 0x0 → seems like it’s still mapping main Flash, not System Memory. Jum

Our customer has requested a material declaration report for M93C86-WMN6P. We purchased 1,000 pcs from Avnet back in 2016. However, it appears that this part is now inactive, as I couldn’t find the part number listed under M93C86-W. Could you kindly provide the material declaration report for M93C86-WMN6P? Additionally, could you advise if there are any alternate parts available? Would M93C86-WMN6TP be a suitable replacement? M93C86-W | Product - STMicroelectronics Thank you for your assistance.

So new problem while trying to bypass non functioning SWD...Using a working NUCLEO_H723 I can use the STM32CubeProgrammer to access it via STLINK (internal and external) as well as via USB DFU after reset with BOOT0 high.From my reading of AN2606, once the bootloader has initialized, it cycles through the various options in sequence till it gets a connection (CAN first, then USARTx, I2Cx, SPIx, USB). The diagram indicates USB cable detection so I'm assuming as long as it isn't connected that the other peripherals will be checked.I'm unclear on it checks all the possibilities for each USARTx (and I2C, SPI) or just one of them ? The only readily accessible USART is UART3 on CN10 of the Nucleo so I've started with that. Tried using RTS/DTR for BOOT0 and reset control but can't get the timing/polarity correct so just holding BOOT0 high and tried both manual reset and a pulse from DTR. I can see a single 0x7F being sent but no reply, then one more 0x7F after 2 seconds before it times out an

Hello - I posted the question online and brought up concerns that the example code does not work. To this day, it still does not work, however the staff marked it solution when we haven't solved the issue. I don't think that's appropriate, it is hard enough to try to get attention to my post.

Hello,  Is there a way to set up the Sink PDO to take in a variable voltage? I would like to set up PDO2 5-20V 3AmpsPDO3 5-20V 5Amps  My plan is to use the Power Ok GPIOs to determine how much current I have and do some down stream current limiting.  Thanks

Hello Community, I have tried to configure TIM8 in CubeMX (Version 6.15.0) with device STM32N645B0 (VFGBA198). But TIM8 is not available in the Timers Group. All other timers are displayed, only TIM8 is missing. Also trying to activate TIM8 over the pin directly does not work. Any ideas? Best regards Thomas

Hello,I'm following the instructions here: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32ai-modelzoo-services/blob/main/object_detection/docs/README_DEPLOYMENT_STM32N6.md after creating a virtual environment and installed all the packages from requirements.txt, but after running this command:python stm32ai_main.py --config-path ./src/config_file_examples/ --config-name deployment_n6_ssd_mobilenet_v2_fpnlite_config.yamlI am getting this error:STM32CubeIDE build failed: ""Error executing job with overrides: []Traceback (most recent call last):File "C:\Users\devan\Desktop\dev\STM32ModelZoo\stm32ai-modelzoo-services\object_detection\stm32ai_main.py", line 234, in <module>main()File "C:\Users\devan\Desktop\dev\STM32ModelZoo\stm32ai-modelzoo-services\st_zoo\lib\site-packages\hydra\main.py", line 94, in decorated_main_run_hydra(File "C:\Users\devan\Desktop\dev\STM32ModelZoo\stm32ai-modelzoo-services\st_zoo\lib\site-packages\hydra\_internal\utils.py", line 394, in _run_hydra_run_a

Hi all, I have an STM32L071VBT6 and want to test the UART functionality. I configured UART4 RX and TX and physically connected them to do a loopback test.  I define 2 arrays to start with /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ uint8_t Send_buffer[] = "Gateway test"; uint8_t Rec_buffer[13]; /* USER CODE END PV */   I start by clearing the Rec_buffer array. /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */   memset(Rec_buffer, 0, sizeof(Rec_buffer));   /* USER CODE END 2 */   Then in my while loop I try to send and receive, but I always just receive the first character ('G' in this case in Rec_buffer[0])    while (1)   {     /* USER CODE END WHILE */     /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */       // UART TRANSMIT/RECEIVE TEST CODE       HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, Send_buffer, strlen((char*)Send_buffer), 100);       HAL_UART_Receive(&huart4, Rec_buffer, strlen((char*)Send_buffer), 100);       HAL_Delay(1000);

Hi everyone, I’m working on CAN communication using STM32F746 in STM32CubeIDE.My goal is to transmit CAN frames continuously and verify them using BusMaster or PEAK CAN analyzer,but I’m not seeing any CAN frames on the bus. To help review my setup, I have attached my project ZIP file below.Could someone please check and confirm: If my CAN clock configuration is correct Whether the CAN2 TX/RX pins are configured with the right alternate functions If my main.c code for CAN initialization and transmission looks correct Whether I need any filter configuration even if I only want to transmit Setup details: Controller: STM32H746 Interface: CAN1 Mode: Normal Baud rate: 500 kbps TX/RX Pins: [PD0/PD1] Using HAL driversCan you please  check with my project and help me out .

Hello,I'm trying to implement a usb cdc device on a stm32WBA65RI-DK1 board but seems like the only usb otg supported is the usb st-link port  CN6 that supports USB_OTG_HS. Using cube mx, Im trying to configure that usb as device with the vbus enable, to force that usb port to be powered through the usb, but the MX is not letting me do such thing. Can someone explain why I'm not able to enable it?I wanted to ask if the CN5 connector could be enabled as USB_OTG_FS, although I dont see anything about that in the board manual nor in the mx.Thanks in advance.Best regards,Rares

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a very frustrating issue with TouchGFX Designer version 4.25.0. Whenever I click "Generate Code", the process hangs for several minutes (up to 5 minutes) at the step:make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8. This used to work quickly in the past with the same version on the same PC, but the issue suddenly started recently without any apparent changes.I'm running Windows 11, and this problem affects all projects, even the official TouchGFX examples. Here’s what I’ve tried so far (none of which helped): Disabled antivirus and security software completely Completly remove and reinstall TouchGFX Designer Run the Make command manually from the TouchGFX environment terminal – the issue presist Tested the same project on another (slower) PC – and it works fine there I use TouchGFX on a daily basis, so this issue is really slowing down my workflow. Has anyone else experienced this?Any advice would be highly appreciated! Best regards,Jure

Hi I am working on an STM32U585 microcontroller with TrustZone enabled and I need to update the RTC time with the HAL_RTC_SetTime function. During the execution of that function, the linestatus = RTC_EnterInitMode(hrtc); //stm32u5xx_hal_rtc.creturns HAL_TIMEOUT, so I am unable to update the RTC values. I have attached several screenshots that show the microcontroller configuration The Project Manager generates both MX_RTC_Init functions for the Secure and NonSecure zones. The main files of both Secure and NonSecure zone execute the MX_RTC_Init function without any errors, the software starts up correctly, but at some point I am not able to set the RTC Time. Upon debugging, I noticed that during the execution of RTC_EnterInitMode, the lineSET_BIT(RTC->ICSR, RTC_ICSR_INIT);does not set the INIT bit, which remains at 0. Thank you in advance for your support. Please let me know if you need any further information.Best regards,Eros

I've been following the tutorial for the P-Nucleo-WB55 Nucleoboard (https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:STM32WB_BLE_STM32CubeMX#Pinout_and_IP_configuration)However, when I get to the section 6.1 UART1 USART1 pinout definition, I can't complete it as it is greyed out and it won't let me activate UART1. When I place my cursor over it I get the following information that it is not available IP under HPI BSP  driver controlI can't find anything online, and I've checked the tutorial steps again.When I set up the project, I enabled all the default options that it asked for.Thanks for any help

Hello @Jocelyn RICARD ,I’m integrating SBSFU v2.7.0 on an STM32WB55 to enable secure OTA firmware updates. I’m hitting a problem where the runtime hash verification fails: the hash computed by SBSFU at boot does not match the hash in the image header, so the image is erased.I dump the decrypted bytes in RAM (before programming) over LPUART and convert them to a binary for comparison with the build output. Assuming the dump/conversion are correct, the streams match up to ~60 KiB, then diverge consistently until the end of the file. This suggests the symmetric key is correct and the early pipeline is fine, but later bytes are corrupted before or during the decrypt-in-place / program sequence.Here is how printing every decrypted chunk within DecryptImageInPlace function:For context, I'm using:Internal MCU flashSingle-bank (no swap/rollback)OTA via ST BLE Sensor appProtections temporarily disabled for debugging; verbose logs enabledWhat worksRan 1_Image example on NUCLEO-WB55RG succes

Hi,I'm seeking information on where to purchase alternative LCD touchscreen sizes that compatible with the STM32MP257F-EV1 evaluation board, beside the standard 7-inch touchscreen LCD (P/N: B-LVDS7-WSVGA). It appears that ST’s touchscreen uses a different LVDS touchscreen interface implementation compared to other display vendors, where video signals over LVDS are provided through one connector and the touch interface through a separate connector.Thank you in advance for your assistance.

As reported here, this is obviously incorrect.Also, this has been already reported by Uwe Bonnes for 'F411/RM0383, which has indeed been corrected in the registers description, but the GPIO register map still contains the incorrect value. So, could ST please go through all low-end 'F4 RM and check/correct at both places where applicable?Thanks,JW@Amel NASRI @Uwe Bonnes
