Hello,I flash my STM32 boards with the STM32 ST-Link Tool. But everytime I update my hex file I have to select the new one manually. Is there a way to let to do it itself?

Hello!I am new to this forum and I have a reasonable doubt regarding ST25R:We need to evaluate ST25R3911 for a new development where the main goal is that mobile phones (both Android and iOS) could read it as an ISO14443-A card. We would like to configure an NDEF as a NFCForum type 2 for example and the mobile phones read this as a card. This is because as far I know, iOS doesn´t let P2P and only can read cards... We do not find any info about emulation in Rfal driver so we are afraid that it is not possible with this chip. Do you have any idea? If it would be possible, Can we use ST25R3911B-DISCO software to configure it and test it?Best regards,J-RAM

Hey guys,I have a very big problem. For a reason I don't understand, my CubeMX project which worked really fine and had no problem at all did now get the following error as I was regenerating code (I did this a hundreds of times without problem but since last thursday I get this error) : "The code has successfully been generated under ... but STUDIOproject generation have a problem".Since then my project is not working correctly anymore. For example my UART is not transmitting any data correctly but receiving. I tried to just save the project new and generate new code but the problem is the same and no TrueStudio project is generated.I noticed that STM made an update for CubeMX (5.00) and so I installed it and updated all the firmware packages and migrated my project in hope that this might correct the error but nothing changed. Now I don't know what to do. How do I get my project to work normal again? I also tried to make a new empty project with True Studio and just copy the generated

I have an STM32F429 Discovery Kit (with included LCD screen). I am running Atollic TrueStudio. I want to run one of the examples provided in the FW package at:...\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.21.0\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Examples\LTDC\LTDC_Display_2Layers\First, I tried following the instructions on the Atollic TrueStudio blog found here:http://blog.atollic.com/how-to-import-thousands-of-stm32cube-example-projects-into-truestudioThe import reported as being completed without errors, but the result was just a mess of folders and files that couldn't possibly compile. Next, I made a new project using STM32CubeMX with the required peripherals in their default Mode, and then copied the contents of the inc and src subfolders from the FW example into the generated CubeMX project. The trouble is that there are still more #includes I am missing. For example, main.h has in it:#include "stm32f429i_discovery.h" #include "../Components/ili9341/ili9341.h" I did a search of the entir

Posted on January 20, 2017 at 19:36Hello, I am new to the CubeMX community and the problem I am having is that when I open CubeMX and try to start a new project all I get is a blank screen where my device selection should be. I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it and restarted my laptop (HP using Windows 10) and still have no luck. However I am still able to open previous projects created. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how do I fix it?Thank you

Dear all,I'm checking if a variable assignement is atomic or not. I know that are many stuff on this subject but I need to approach from a low level perspective to better know what happen under the scene and then have better control of my code.To do that I'm looking the dissassembler window during the debugging stage, I'm using the IAR IDE v8.32.1 but my question is not related to this specific IDE/Compiler.A variable with name Nstep_total is update under ISR and is also declared to be volatile, here below my declaration:volatile int32_t Nstep_total = 0; // Updated under ISRUnder the ISR code I've to write the Nstep_total variable and into the main code I have only to perform a read. This operation is made by means of a temporary variable called Nstep_total_tmp definited into my main code as.int32_t Nstep_total_tmp = 0; // Temporary variable used to store the Nstep_totalin other words, instead to use directly the Nstep_total variable in my calculations, I simply do an assignement

Hi,I'm working with a ST25R3911B RFID chip associated to a STM32L072 uC.I use the "STM32CubeExpansion_NFC5_V1.2.0" project, ported from STM32F401 to STM32L072.This project enables to set the ST25R3911B  in wake-up low power mode. Now I'm trying to set the STM32L072 in standby mode with the ST25R3911B  using the IRQ.I can wake-up the STM32 with IRQ generated by ST25R3911B  when a badge is passed but I cannot read the badge. So my question is : is the "STM32CubeExpansion_NFC5_V1.2.0" project compliant with uC low power mode like standby ?Regards,Matthieu

Hello everyone,i have gone through ST25RU3992 it has written that it will support ISO18000-6C fully and ISO18000-6A/B in Direct Mode. will it support ISO18000 6D some how or else any other option that we can configure it in ISO18000 6D protocol ? "thanks"

hello!  I was devolving my project on the "STM3220xG eval-board" (based on controller "STM32F207IGH6"). Now as my custom made controller board is ready (based on "STM32F205ZGT6"), I ported my code for it by changing in peripheral's Pin-numbers and Keil settings (controller selection).   In my custom made controller board I've kept the crystal settings same as eval board, but still due to an unknown issue my clock source keeps on switching on HSI (16Mhz). I've tried with 16Mhz crystal as well with PLL-M=16, PLL-N=240, PLL-P=2, PLL-Q=4 and HSE_VALUE =16000000 but still, no positive results.  on the other hand, I've ported the same code for NUCLEO-F207ZG with PLL-M=8, PLL-N=240, PLL-P=2, PLL-Q=4 and HSE_VALUE =8000000 and its working quite well.    can anyone help me with the understanding of "Clock's Initialization" or rectifying my issue?Thanking with RegardsAatif Shaikh

Hi,I tested FMC_SDRAM_DataMemory Example of STM32F769I_EVAL.I found out that the data written to SDRAM is not correct.See below picture for your checking. I believe HAL and FMC driver in system_stm32f7xx.c is not correct. Please advise me how to make it correct. Thanks.Regards,Thiha Kyaw

What are the difference among operating modes in magnetometer of LIS3mdl in terms of the number of samples used to generate each output sample? For example, I found that in ISM303DAC the number of samples used to generateoutput sample is four times less in Low-Power mode than the number used inHigh-Resolution mode. As you know the operation modes in ISM303DAC and IIS2MDC are just two modes including low power and high resolution, but in LIS3MDL there are 4 different modes of LP, MP, HP and UHP. So,,1- please let me know these difference in terms of number of samples per data output. 2- In addition I want to know if there is any difference in resolution of operating modes? For example if I select the Low power mode in LIS3mdl with +-2Gauss range, how would be the resolution in other modes?

I have a microcircuit M24SR04-Y, on which I recorded information using the NFC.I need to read this information using i2c.I read the datasheet and understood the circuit of communication with the microcircuit. But I am a novice and without an example it is very difficult to understand.Tell me how and in what form to send commands. If you show an example of communication with the chip, it will be great. Thanks!

Hi AllI have been experimenting with setting flash sector write protection but found that when I did I could no longer program with the debugger. I managed to reset the options by writing the unlock sequence via the debugger (that can still connect) but after doing it a few times I made a typo and have now have the OPTCR register set to 0xcfffaaed (or 0xcfffaaec when I remove the lock). I can't get rid of the 0xc at the start (when I try the FLASH_SR bit 0x10 is set) and in this state nothing is working. Can the board be recovered?ThanksMark

Each time I add __FPU_PRESENT and AMR_MATH_CM4 to symbols to get project compile properly, yet getting 30 warning about __FPU_PRESENT redefined.Project is made straight-forward: configure pins, select TrueStuido, pressing "generate code". Opening project in TrueStudio, build. Getting errors, adding __FPU_PRESENT and AMR_MATH_CM4 to symbols, building again with warnings.

I have basic understanding about buses, but this term is new to me.What's bus turnaround phase - and measured from where to where?Google hasn't been my friend on this.

Has anyone had any luck setting up the SPC572L64E3 to run in Asynchronous SPI Slave Mode? I need interrupts to trigger for chip select assert/deassert, tx word push and rx word pull. I've tried using the TFFF and RFDF ISRs but it seems that the TFFF ISR will trigger several times before a word is ever transmitted, and several words will be transmitted before RFDF is triggered.

Hi All, My environment: STM32L151CB, SPI2 Master, DMA1 Chan4(RX) and Chan5(TX)I moved from HAL to LL (to save memory) and faced with the following issue:When I configure SPI to receive data by DMA and setup only RX DMA channel SPI transaction doesn't start but if I setup RX+TX channels it's work but sometimes I lost one RX byte and DMA RX Complete never call! //Doesnt' work   while (LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(SPI2)) { LL_SPI_ReceiveData8(SPI2); }   LL_DMA_ConfigAddresses(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_4, LL_SPI_DMA_GetRegAddr(SPI2), (uint32_t)rx, LL_DMA_GetDataTransferDirection(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_4)); LL_DMA_SetDataLength(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_4, size); LL_SPI_EnableDMAReq_RX(SPI2); LL_DMA_EnableChannel(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_4);//Works but sometimes I lost one RX byte and DMA Rx Complete doesn't call! DMA Ch5 CNT=0, DMA Ch4 CNT=1, start size 512 bytes   while (LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(SPI2)) { LL_SPI_ReceiveData8(SPI2); }   LL_DMA_ConfigAddresses(DMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_4, L

On page 47 (DocID025715 Rev 3) we're trying to figure out how the OUT_SEL bites are supposed to be set if we wan't the LPF2 enabled. We're reading it continuously, no interrupts. HPF is not used, yet. A clarification would be great of how the chart is meant to be read. This is how we interpret it now:   0b00, LPF2 Off, HPF off.   0b01, HPF on and LPF2 off? (What happens when HPF is off?)   0b10, HPF off LPF2 on? This is what we seem to get some results with.   0b11, HPF on and LPF2 on?

Hello there,I am currently analyzing the STUSB1602 chip and the P-NUCLEO-USB002 eval kit. I have come across a topic I am not fully certain about. Its the SPI interface for the BMC communication. I cannot understand either it is necessary in all applications, or only if I want to exchange some specific data between devices over CC line? For example, if I intend to create a sink only device, so I have to connect the SPI lines and provide any data from the MCU? I would appreciate all help.
