Hi everyone,I was trying to protect my code by read out protection. But before uploading program, mistaken changed the read out protection to level 2 using of stm32 utility software. Now, I don't able to connect my board to st-link.After search for this issue, i find that it is irreversible process means i can't program again.Anyone has any idea?

Hello,I'm testing a custom board implementing a BLE Server. The binary for CPU2 is the stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw 1.3.0. All the radio system seem work well, tested with STM32CubeMonitor-RF and a nucleo dongle (Packet Error Test below 1%). The advertising phase work well too. But when I try to connect a BLE Client, it connects and disconnects immediately after. The reason code of HCI Event is 0x3E (Connection failed to be established).After some investigations, tring to load my firmware on the STM32WB Nucleo Board, I found the problem. I use LSI2 as source clock of RF WAKEUP, this seem not work also on the nucleo board, but switching to LSE (on Cube MX clock configuration), all works well. On my board I can't use the LSE, in reference manual I saw that LSI2 was suitable to source the RF WAKEUP. I already trim the LSI2 with factory value stored at 0x1FFF7548, but the frequency is 30kHz not 32Khz. Could be a problem?It doesn't work also with HSE/1024 as source of RF WAKEUP CLOCKWhy I can't u

Hi,I am using a CAN bootloader to update my application. But after flashing the application and jumping from the bootloader to the reset vector of the app, the program stalls after calling NVIC_EnableIRQ(CAN_TX_IRQn). Is there a problem that the bootloader already used the CAN peripheral?The bootloader resets and stops the peripheral before the jump. Controller is a STM32F303RE.Before NVIC_EnableIRQ is called, the peripheral registers have the following values:MCR = 0x0001004cMSR = 0x00000c00TSR = 0x1c000003RF0R, RF1R = 0IER = 0x00008f03ESR = 0BTR = 0x012d000fUpdate:I looks like the application calls the old interrupt routine address of the bootloader .text.TgtCAN1TXIsr 0x08009be8 0xc VisualGDB/Debug/target.o 0x08009be8 TgtCAN1TXIsr

I am initialising the ADC2 w/DMA via STM32CubeMX. Scan conv. = enabledcontinuous conv. = enabledDMA cont. requests = enabledoverrun behaviour = data preservednumber of conversions = 2 (channel 1 and channel 2)sequence of program (specific to DMA):1 - uint32_t adc_val[2] (variable created for DMA)2 - MX_DMA_init3 - HAL_ADC_Start_DMA_ (passed adc_val)4 - while(1) (using UART to send the adc data)I tried the same program using adc polling (HAL_ADC_getvalue) and it did give me some data. But the DMA doesnt seem to work.

I am trying to include the CMSIS/DSP Library into a uVision 5 Project generated by STM32CubeMX.I went to "Runtime Settings" and included checked the DSP checkbox.http://stm32f4-discovery.net/2014/10/stm32f4-fft-example/fft-enable-dsp-library-keil/In main.c I added the include line <arm_math.h>In the preprocessor settings I added the Symbol "ARM_MATH_CM4".STM32F412Re / Keil uVision 5What am I missing?The compiler throws 30 errors like:compiling main.c... I am using the STEVAL-IDP005V1 and the terminal emulator, Putty, to output sensor data to my PC. I would like to plot the FFT data using Excel like is mentioned in page 20 of the Quick Start Guide. I have tried using the Putty configuration manager to output the full session to a log, but when I convert the log to an Excel file, all columns of the data in the serial monitor output are all placed in the first column in Excel. If I were to try to plot the data using this format, I would have to separate all 2000+ data points manually into different columns to make a graph using Excel. Is there a way to have the output data placed in multiple columns like is mentioned in the quick start guide? (Pg. 20 of the STEVAL-BFA001V1B Getting started Guide)

Can the ST-Link V3 SET program flash standalone (without PC)?As Flasher STM8 's standalone mode.(https://www.segger.com/products/production/flasher-st/models/flasher-stm8/)-----> https://www.st.com/ja/development-tools/stlink-v3set.html> The STLINK-V3SET is a modular stand-alone debugging and programming probe for the STM8 and STM32 microcontrollers.Thanks for your answer.I found that"stand-alone" was not "without PC" but "not depend on evaluation board"."programming" was not "flashing" but "coding".

Is there a formula to calculate the values. Also what values must be added to the registers in the above program to make it a 1 second delay.

I have searched around this forum and the internet, without finding a solution. The Alignment setting in the designer does not help. I want the text (5 digit integer) to be right justified with no leading zeroes. Latest version of ToughGFX and Cube. Thanks

 in stm32cubeMX configuration of SPI in slave mode, it asks for user parameter input for clk prescaler, which then derives the clk rate. My understanding for SPI operated in SLAVE mode is that the master end, instead of the slave end, generates the clock.Is there a way to better understand the purpose of this setting, highlighted in the screenshot? Thanks.

if stm32cudeide can view the bootloader and update the bootloader of MCU that is already writed by the vendor, like external oscillator or some other options ?i have already installing the STM32CubeIDE, STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeProgrammer. is there other softwares to help to develop?

Hello,I'm trying to get used with the HAL APIs by doing an exercises with USART of the mentioned board. The exercise is a simple one in which I try to send a character from my PC terminal using Tera Term and if this character is 'a' I want the MCU on the board to light up the user LED.I have configured USART2 module with CubeMx. The generated configuration code for the USART2 module is this:static void MX_USART2_UART_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END USART2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART2_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END USART2_Init 1 */ huart2.Instance = USART2; huart2.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart2.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart2.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart2.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart2.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart2.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart2.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart2) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /* USER

The H747I-DISCO specs say 2MB Flash and 1MB RAM. From that, I am trying to understand what the start addresses of both areas are.I see that for both processors (M7 and M4) two .ld files get created:STM32H..._FLASH.ld and STM32..._RAM.ld, for a new STM32 project, with default peripheral settings, generated by CubeIDE 1.1 with CubeMX 5.4In the FLASH file, I see a MEMORY structure that contains{ FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 1024K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K ITCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 64K }My questions:1) If 0x08000000 is in fact the start address of FLASH, why is the length only 1024K. Similarly for RAM - if 0x20000000 is the start address, why is the length 128K.More to the point, if I change the LENGTH values to 2048 and 1024 to correspond to what is supposedly on the board, is that valid, and is that the way to use all memory available?2) Why is there a separate RAM.ld file, which has completely different values for FLASH and RAM:MEMO

Hello.I cannot use Ethernet with my 2 weeks old NUCLEO-F767ZI (chip version Z).Probably the LAN8742A does not work properly anymore.After initilization I perform a check: if (HAL_ETH_ReadPHYRegister(&heth, PHY_BSR, &regvalue)==HAL_OK) { if (regvalue&0x04) { // cable connected, but with this board never reached ... } }No LED of the connector is active.The software works on other boards. (Latest FW, etc.)Is there a chance to rescue the board?Thank you Joerg

Hello Community,I have developed an firmware on STM32f746zgt6 MCU. Currently , I'm unable to buy STM32f746zgt6 Online.So, can I use another STM32f746 series MCU instead?If, yes can you please suggest me one.I couldn't make any changes to my firmware as well. so the MCU supposed to work on same firmware.Thanks in Advance !!Regards,Mitul Parmar

Hello;I can't program and debug with the STM32H747 Discovery kit. I tried Stm32cubeProgrammer and STM32CubeIDE for this. Below are the errors I have received in both.Debug configuration screen is below;STLink Serial number appears, but I can't understand why it can't program it?Sincelery

I am evaluating different dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 MPUs for their graphical features; one of my requirements is that I need to support a 1280x1024 TFT LCD at 50-60fps using 16 or 24-bit parallel RGB interface.The evaluation kits offer small LCDs below my requirements, and I need to make sure that the MPUs can support what I need.Looking at the datasheet for STM32MP157C MPUs, it is clearly stated in multiple places that the upper pixel resolution limit for the LTDC module is WXGA (1366x768) at 60fps. However:the max pixel clock - LCD_CLK is stated to be 90MHz at specified supply voltage range. At that clock frequency, barring any external memory-related bottlenecks and assuming some small HSYNC/VSYNC + porch timings, I should be able to run a 1280x1024 LCD at around 63 fps max - and for sure at 60fps. Involved memory transfer clocks seem to be fine as well (I could be wrong on this one).LTDC register definitions seem to support much larger width and height values than what I need, so I s

I came a step further setting up the System Workbench for STM32.But now I am asked for a password to access to the target system but I all passwords that I can remember I had set-up before don't match.Can somebody show me, how I can reset the password required for the situation shown below.

I am planning to interface a STM32H753XI to a 1400x480 display. Here is the reference manual. Now, the maximum resolution given for the STM is 1024x728. I understand that this is the maximum frequency the device can actually output.Now my desired horizontal resolution exceeds the controllers 1024 pixels. I checked with the registers and they support 11 bit values (so everything up to 2047). Has anyone tried to interface a display with a larger horizontal resolution to an STM? Are the horizontal and vertical pixels a hard limit or is the combined pixel clock frequency the actual limit?

Hello;With STM32H747, I am trying to communicate with both cores. For example;To be able to read a variable in CM4 in the CM7 core. Depending on the state of this variable I read, running certain functions in CM7, etc.I couldn't find a document or example of how to do it.Sincelery

The maximum allowed internal clock for the device STM32F446RE is 180 MHz. The nucleo board has an external crystal of 8 MHz. Using this and a code I obtained from a university website, I attempted to change the system clock to 180 MHz using the PLL.(I use MikroC PRO for ARM v4.7.1)Here is the code.void InitializeClock() {RCC_CFGR = 0x00000000; //Reset Clock Configuration Register RCC_CR &= 0xFEF6FFFF; //Reset HSEON, CSSON and PLLON Bits RCC_CR |= (1 << 16); //Turn on HSE clock while((RCC_CR & (1 << 17)) == 0) { GPIOA_BASE.B5 = ~GPIOA_BASE.B5; // Toggle PIN A5 which is the LED(LD2) so as to know if the execution is still in the loop Delay_ms(500); } //Wait until High Speed External(HSE) Oscillator(8 MHz) is ready RCC_CR |= (1 << 19); RCC_PLLCFGR = 0x27405A08; //Set PLLP = 0, PLLN = 360, PLLM = 8, //PLLQ = 7, PLL Src = HSE RCC_CR |= (1 << 24); //Enable PLL on while((RCC_CR & (1 << 25)) == 0) { GPIOA_BASE.B5 = ~GPIOA_BASE.B5; // Tog
