Hello everyone,I'm using STM32F429 MCU (STM32F429I-DISC1 board). I was generating PWM signals on PA1, PA2,PA3 and PA5 using TIM2 ... The important part is that the PWM signals on PA3 & PA5 are fine where the high digital state is at 3.3V. For PA1 & PA2 , the PWM signals have digital high state at 650mV !? ... I attached a picture to show the PWM (on PA3) and the PWM (on PA1)I also tried to make PA1 as an output with an open drain and a pull-up resistor ... when I give it high state ... the output voltage of the pin is 0V .... The pin is acting as if there is some kind of a medium pull-down resistance.Does this mean that these 2 pins are damaged?(Note: this is not a probe or oscilloscope problem ... I measured the digital high state with a voltmeter as well)ThanksNour

HiSo here's the thing: I've been getting familiar with flashing the STM32F407 discovery board using the in-build bootloader via USART3. Boot mode is set to System memory using Boot0 = 1 (5V)Boot1 = 0 (GND)I am using an USB to serial converter. Connection is:USB_serial_TX (Green wire) <=> MCU_RX (PC11)USB_serial_RX (White wire) <=> MCU_TX (PC10)When using the bootloader to upload a program to control an LCD via I2C, I get the expected result. However, when trying to run a simple GP timer to control an LED, the LED does not blink.The code itself works, because when using the on-board STLink programmer, the LED blinks. Just with the bootloader, it does not. Any ideas? Thank you.#include "stm32f4xx.h"   #if !defined(__SOFT_FP__) && defined(__ARM_FP) #warning "FPU is not initialized, but the project is compiling for an FPU. Please initialize the FPU before use." #endif   void funcISRInit(); void funcGPIOInit(); void funcTIM4Init();     int main(void)

Hello,the UART is not working. st-link is stand alone (not connected to Nucleo anymore)i am using a separate stm32f446ret6, tx(PIN16) and rx (PIN17) are connected to CN3 (TX/RX).in addition the SWD CN4 of the st-link is used (all connections are made to the uC).Programming is working fine. COM port is shown once i connect the st-link but tera term is showing nothing.going back to a second board where the st-link is still part of the Nucleo (not break up) everything is working, uart is working. What do you need to know to support me?

I am using Stm32l0 and am receiving data from GPS via uart but I am facing this problem.uart receives the first byte and then repeats the number of bytes it wanted to receiveFor example:AL_UART_Receive (& huart1, buf, 80, 200);It receives the first letter "$" eighty times !!like this $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$........80 time

The st25r3916.pdf data sheet includes Table 23 which lists the Initiator operation modes. This list includes ISO14443A/B but excludes ISO15693.

Hi,I am using a custom board with the following CPU : STM32F746BGTx.Here is the pinout :PB2 : QUADSPI_CLKPB6 : QUADSPI_BL1_NCSPF6 : QUADSPI_BL1_IO3PF7 : QUADSPI_BL1_IO2PF8 : QUADSPI_BL1_IO0PF9 : QUADSPI_BL1_IO1How can I load all the assets (images, font, ...) into the QSPI N25Q128A ?I know I need to use an external loader but I don't know how to create it...Best Regards

To understand capacitive touch / TSC library based application, I’ve been studying the polling based sample code given in AN5105 for STM32F072B-Disco evaluation board. After tweaking the code to customize for the application, I’ve a few questions as below which I am not able to understand and can’t find any explanation even after reviewing various application notes from ST. Your input would be much appreciated and would be very helpful for me to clarify the concepts of TSC.1. Resolution and Calculation of touch Position on the slider in the range of 0...255:The header file, tsl_conf.h, supplied by TSC, has the following parameters:#define TSLPRM_LINROT_RESOLUTION (7) //Position resolution in number of bits (range=1..8)#define TSLPRM_USE_3CH_LIN_H (1) //Half ended electrode designMyLinRots[0].p_Data->Position structure is used to compare the position value in the range of 0...255, but I am not able to understand the correlation of the value and position of touch on the slider / chann

Which evaluation board I can use to practice and develop code on Capacitive Touch Sensing, which is suitable with STM32F302R8?I have STM32F302 Nucleo board with STM32F302R8 MCU, which supports touch sensing. I need to learn and develop a practice code for capacitive touch sensing - sliders and buttons with this MCU and Nucleo board.Which evaluation board I can use with this MCU that provides capacitive sliders / buttons and allow to develop a capacitive development practice project?I am new to capacitive sensing code development, so some initial guidance about how to start would be very much helpful...Thank you

Hi all, i realized that , printf doesnt work after wake up from sleep mode, i am using rtc to wake up mcu from sleep mode every minutes. Here is my structure config.sAlarm.Alarm = RTC_ALARM_A; sAlarm.AlarmDateWeekDay = 0x31; // Nonspecific sAlarm.AlarmDateWeekDaySel = RTC_ALARMDATEWEEKDAYSEL_DATE; sAlarm.AlarmMask = RTC_ALARMMASK_DATEWEEKDAY | RTC_ALARMMASK_HOURS | RTC_ALARMMASK_MINUTES; sAlarm.AlarmSubSecondMask = RTC_ALARMSUBSECONDMASK_NONE; sAlarm.AlarmTime.Hours = 0x0; sAlarm.AlarmTime.Minutes = 0x0; sAlarm.AlarmTime.Seconds = 0x0; sAlarm.AlarmTime.SubSeconds = 0x0; sAlarm.AlarmTime.DayLightSaving = RTC_DAYLIGHTSAVING_NONE; sAlarm.AlarmTime.StoreOperation = RTC_STOREOPERATION_RESET;Every one minute, this code works. void HAL_RTC_AlarmAEventCallback(RTC_HandleTypeDef *hrtc)   {   __HAL_RTC_ALARM_EXTI_CLEAR_FLAG();   gsm_machine_debug("\r\nHAL_RTC_AlarmAEventCallback \r\n");   //send_data_flag = 1;   }But if i put to mcu to sleep mode with debug

Hi Guys,is there any example code for the STM32H757I-EVAL in the STMCubeH7? in the landing page there is a zip file with compiled examples but no code itself. Also it looks like the BSP in the STMCubeH7 does not have any support for the STM32H757I-EVAL. Do you know something about it?Best,

 STM32F103C8 , with MXCUBE, MDK-ARM V5. I would like to know how to program to store the counter value in flash memory even in power failure. when power goes up automatically recall the counter value. Please support me to solve this. I am not fully aware of microcontrollers. I am RF engineer.

I am working on NUCLEO H743ZI2 and I want to use PF0 and PF1 pins as I2C2. But on nucleo board NC is written on these pins. Can I use these pins as I2C2?

Hello,On a working project with TouchGFX, i have over 150 TextBuffers (wildcards) which i access and change/edit on runtime.Now i am trying to edit some code parts to avoid repeated parts (many IF conditions).Is there a way to use a table with pointers and access the desired TextBuffer each time;

Hello, I am working on a project in which I have to store the data from my ADC (in continuous mode with DMA) on a SD card (with FATFS and SDMMC1) without losses. I try to use a ping pong buffer but when I want to change the bufferinwhich the ADC store values I have to stop my adc and restart it with the good buffer in parameter. Thus I lose a lots of data because of that.Do you have a better solution to this matter ?I also use my SD card in 1 bit mode because when I want to use it in 4 bits mode I have the RXOverrun flag. Fatfs is not configure to work with DMA because I don't know how to do it.***EDIT 1***I tryed to use a pointer in second parameter of HAL_ADC_Start_DMA() but it never write in the second buffer enven if my pointer is set at the 2nd buffer's adress.Thank you for your help.Best regardsMathieuHere is my main functionres= f_mount(&fs, "0:", 1); if (res == FR_OK){ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LD1_GPIO_Port, LD1_Pin); } res = f_open(&SDFile, "test.bin", FA_CREATE_ALWAYS|

I have problem with Wildcard Characters and Wildcard Range as bellowIn the Wildcard Characters i putted: a-z,A-Z,0-9.In the Wildcard Ranges i putted: a-z,A-Z,0x20-0xFE,0-9 I can show String and number OK, but only string of string or string of number.When i show string like "30TH" or number "2020" it can't show Wildcard Buffer 30th = 10 Wildcard Buffer 2020 = 5My code like:oxyDateArr[29]= "30th";Unicode::strncpy(txtOxyDateBuffer,oxyDateArr[29],strlen(oxyDateArr[29])); // for case 30thUnicode::snprintf(txtOxyYearBuffer, sizeof(txtOxyYearBuffer), "%d",20+2000);//for case 2020but screen show: =?1/2? and ?u?Anyone can help me solve those problem and explain What are Wildcard Characters, Wildcard Ranges? Thanks Everyone

I am new to the STM32 microcontrollers and I am experimenting with the SPI peripheral (interrupt mode, non DMA, slave) of the STM32F410. I noticed that the reference manual mentions the SPE bit (bit 6 of the SPIx CR1 register) but does not provide much explanation to it.I was wondering what disabling the SPE bit does after each SPI transaction. Does disabling the SPI SPE bit (at each SPI CS rising interrupt) clears the Rx buffer and the Tx buffer? Is the code snippet below for operating the SPI at the GPIO interrupt side correct?void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { if(GPIO_Pin == SPI2_CS_Pin) { if(HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(SPI2_CS_GPIO_Port, SPI2_CS_Pin) == GPIO_PIN_RESET) { /* SPI CS Falling Edge Interrupt Handler */   /* Enable SPI2 SPE bit to listen to master device for SPI byte */ SPI2->CR1 |= (0x1 << 6);   /* Exchange byte with master device and do further processing in HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback and main loop */ HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(&hspi2,

Good evening,I requested the download for XSBSFU package last week , but never received a conformation Email. Today I made another one request and got a conformation Email. I read that it might take up to 48h to get the link, which would be to late for me, my workshop begins tomorrow at 9:00. Is there a way to speed up the process so I can participate ST-Workshop tomorrow?Thank you very much.

Hi... there Hope all are doing well From past few days I'm playing with SBSFU with STM32 L4 Cell-01 Discovery board I'm using x-cube AWS default application with default settings of the linker fileIn demo code, I've added SDMMC with FAT fs, which is working well Now I need to send the sensors data to aws at some predefined interval by RTC having calling semaphore from ISR I've created the separated thread to read the sensors data having stack size of 512 Now the problem is, due to new thread cloud_run thread calling to malloc fail Handler to solve the issue, I've allocated 2K heap to project (default 18000 to 20000) in linker script However that cause the APPLI_region_RAM  over flow by 2048 bytes!I need to know, how i can effectively allocate the RAM for the application region After checking all the linker files, i got to know SRAM1 is used for the entire project What is the best way to share the application between SRAM1 and SRAM2 Here I've attached the memory analyzer with

Hi,I am creating a project with TouchGFX graphics on STM32F412G-DISCO. I have already downloaded and installed XCUBE-TOUCHGFX 4.14 and it is visible in "additional software" category. Hi!I requested the download on Saturday (sorry - I missed the first mail regarding the setup and was'nt aware of the delay in granting download permission...I started the setup late on Saturday) - I read that it might take up to 48h to get the link, which would be tonight (with the actual training starting tomorrow).Is there a way to speed up the process so I can set up the environment now to be ready for tomorrow?

I went onto the website to download their STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver Version 1.5 but instead my installation kept ending with Driver Version 1.4 being downloaded. Another problem is there is no Flash Loader Demonstrator.
