In the states RFAL_LM_STATE_POWER_OFF or in RFAL_LM_STATE_IDLE ( function rfalRunListenModeWorker File rfal_rfst25r3916 ) the flags ST25R3916_REG_OP_CONTROL_en_fd_auto_efd are reset during detetcting a smartphone. These bits are set only during initalisation. but why are they reset during working? ? ?A workaround works better but not sufficient, sometimes a smartphone is detected. The workaround sets the ST25R3916_REG_OP_CONTROL_en_fd_auto_efd bits in both states (see code below). The hardware is the discovery antenna board with st2533916 and via spi connected to our µc STm32L151.The hardware antenna works with discovery mainboard fine.Additional we implement in depency of the field on , to switch from power off to idle and reverse. (seee below)On the saleae.com you can download a software, to analyse the logic spi data attached.Ther are two records wih detecting a smartphone. The first tooks a long time to get the smartphone. the sceond ist ok.   switch( gRFAL.Lm.st

I want to display a warning window when a single triggered from hardware. It seems that if I want to achieve this effect in touchGFX, I need to add a model window to each interface. Can I add a global window to implement it elegantly?:face_without_mouth:

Thank you for helping. How much SDRAM capacity does TouchGFX actually consume? Please tell me the unit in bytes.environmentboard: STM32F769I-DISCOTouchGFX: Ver4.15.0

It seems to me that st-flash still have not got any support for STM32H7xx devices yetIs there other command line options available that run under Ubuntu? Could be payware even.. I have both stlink/v2 and a segger j-link (EDU version) available but have not been able to flash using these tools. Openocd seems to be an debugger only if I am rightEDIT:Found source of st-flash and built version 1.6.1, seems to work2020-12-06T23:51:36 INFO common.c: Flash written and verified! jolly good! But, since I cant delete posts, i rather update with some info

Hello All, Working with an STM32F4 processor and having issues with feeding the independent watchdog. Code is CubeMX generated. FreeRTOS v10.2.1 and CMSIS-RTOS V1.02. Watchdog resets if not fed every 512ms. Watchdog is fed in its own task and the priority is set to osPriorityRealTime. All the other tasks are osPriorityNormal. configTICK_RATE_HZ is set to a 1000 and configUSE_PREEMPTION is set to 1. The SYS timebase source was also changed from Systick to TIM7 as per a warning popup on CubeMX. So the issue I'm facing is that the watchdog resets the processor consistently every half a second or so even though I'm feeding it in the RealTime Task. I can confirm that it is the independent watchdog resetting the processor from the RCC->CSR register. I can also confirm that it is not an issue with the feeding process, as if I create an infinite loop right before the osKernalStart() and feed the dog in there the microcontroller runs perfectly fine and if I don't feed the dog in th

Hello!I want to put on screen box, iamge or other rectangular object.I want to catch event when this object is clicked and read coordinates of click. How to do it?At first i tried read coordinates after clicking button. I added iteraction to button, which start c++ function GET_TOUCH()#include <STM32TouchController.hpp>   void GET_TOUCH()   {   uint32_t x,y;   // Override and implement this function in OPTIONS_SCREEN   STM32TouchController::sampleTouch(x,y);   }I got error"../touchgfx/gui/src/options_screen_screen/options_screenview.cpp(115): error: #245: a nonstatic member reference must be relative to a specific object@"How to call sampleTouch(x,y) correctly?

Hi,I want to use the VEREFINT to get the voltage of my battery. According to the formula provided by the datasheet (screenshot attached), I need the VREFINT calibration value and the VREFINT_DATA.What is the register to read the calibration value from? I didn't find this in the datasheet. The same for the VREFINT_DATA. For the VREFINT_DATA I think it's stored in the specific data address VREFINT_Factory_CONV byte but I do not find in the datasheet what this address is.

Hello,I am working with the evaluation board STM32L412 Nucluo64, but I noticed that the MCU sends only garbage from UART.The code I am using has been used many times in other projects and should work fine (it's just a matter of calling LL_UART_TransmitData8 and wait for transfer complete).Just tested on a STM32L4 Nucleo (STM32L432KC), same setup for both boards and works fine.Do someone has an idea of what could be wrong ? Thanks.s.

So far I have been using VCP in my project for about six months with no problems. But today I found it was not able to send a specific 'packet' of bytes. Here is the SWV printf output from STM32CubeIDE:Sending 10 bytes 255 254 5 0 19 0 0 0 24 106Note the 19, which is the actual main content of the message. The first two bytes are a message header, last two bytes are a checksum. Now here's what I receive on the computer (Fedora Linux, libserialport)Read 9 bytes  255  254  5  0  0  0  0  24  106The 19 is missing. If I change it to 18 or 20 there is no problem, and I cannot find any other numbers which cause a problem, only 19. This is 100% repeatable, not an occasional problem.I am sending using CDC_Transmit_FS which returns 0 (USBD_OK).On the computer I'm using sp_nonblocking_read, which returns 9.Docs for the libserialport function:https://www.sigrok

Hi, i would like to know where exactly at the magnetic sensor (LSM303D) the magnetic field is measured. We want to locate the exact position of magnet using multiple of these sensors, there for need to know where the value in the sensor is measured?

Hello, I'm using an stm32l496rgt (64 pins). When I set SD 4 bits wide bus on SDMMC I noted that the code created set SDMMC_BUS_WIDE_1B instead of 4B.In this configuration the sd card doesn't work, it works only with 1 bit bus.4 bits data bus works properly in stm32l4r5zit6p (144 pins). Is there a problem on 64 pin version?Best Regards

Hi,I have created a CubeMx project for STM32F042K6. I am using following components:USBTSCIWDGGPIOTOUCHSENSINGUSB_DEVICEI just defined the pins and tried to compile but compiler says FLASH overflows around 2.5KI didn't even write one line of code. Then I realized USB HID library takes a lot of space (around 21K) on the FLASH. How can I reduce this size? Is there anyway to use it as Keyboard+Mouse without using entire library? Or is there any 'Lite' libray for USB HID?Thanks

Is there a drop in replacement available for this part?

The STM32 IDE project shows some "default" mapping to use in the U[S]ART1-6. For example, UART1 has PA9(TX) and PA10(RX). Are these GPIO pins fixed? Can any be used? Is there any restriction on which pin can be used with which UART block? In particular, we have an STM32F407.Thanks,Marco

Hi,In my program (running on STM32F446RE, with 512 KB flash and 128 KB SRAM) I defined two big arrays:int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ int16_t data_in[64000]; int16_t audio_buffer[16000];The code can run normally when the data_in array is not there. However, when the variable data_in is defined, the program will just encounter hard fault and exit abnormally.Since these variables will be changed throughout the program I can't define them as constants. May I ask what should I do in order to fix this problem?Thank you.

i want bto use sprintf() in my application what libraries i have to use

I found that the UBoot env stored at the same address as the bootfs, which caused emMC to fail to start the kernelEnv and Uboot are both at 0x280000 addresses,

Also, are there libraries or example codes that we can use in our STM32 microcontroller, for specific applications like body movement detection ?

I am unable to generate code to stm32 MCUs by using this cube mx v6.1.0 my pc is 64 bit and I installed jre-8u91-windows-x64.exe version.I am getting Copying libraries files error to every controller, check in attached screen shot once.

Is it possible to have two versions of CubeMX installed (or otherwise used) on one Windows-PC?My problem is, that an older project used Atollic, and that still needs to be supported. For another project I installed CubeIDE that wanted a newer CubeMX version (6.x). The Atollic used CubeMX 5.x. Now CubeMX 5.6 can't open a ioc-file made with CubeIDE (CubeMX 6.x), and if I just open the ioc-file created with CubeMX 5.x with CubeMX 6.x, the code generation produces code that doesn't work (at least interrupt priorities get set to zero in the ioc-file even if the project is not saved). It's quite annoying having to re-install CubeMX each time I have to change the project to work with. At least if I need to even open the ioc-file.

I originaly added the CubeMX NFC firmware module and made a few builds with that library. Then I removed the NFC component and now every time I generate the code the folders lib_nfc\Target and lib_nfc are added to project resulting in a few warning.I have to manualy remove the paths from build settings, but every code generation they are added again.Someone can indicate me where I can switch off this behavior?
