Posted on March 04, 2018 at 18:27I can connect a STM32L073 via USB in in DFU mode to STM32CubeProgrammer but i can not programm the uController. Reading device Memory and option bytes work, but programming does not. What I do is:       Select a Hex file      Enable verify      Verbosity level to 3      Start ProgrammingNow I got Verification Error and erasing sectors does not work. See end of this post or Please See Output Log file. It shows up like the programm has been updated, but it was not. There is still the old programm starting. Option Bytes shows that there is no write protection enabled.It should not be that difficult !?Please STM team, could someone of your dev team grab a STM32L073 Nucleo board and try to program it via USB DFU and post a step by step solution?STM32CubeProgrammer Output:08:06:13 : data: 210000f81f08:06:13 : Memory Programming ...08:06:13 : Openeing and

In October 2020 Microsoft released sample applications to try out Azure on some reference boards. One of them is STM32F746G-DISCO. Hello community,I wrote program that use MEM to PER transfer, HALF WORD mode (16 bit). DMA transfers are clocked by TIM1. MCU is stm32f103c8t6 @ 72Mhz on "Blue Pill" board. As final result I got 16 bit sample values on PORTB at 360kHz speed. It seems too low . Theoretically I read that MCU can perform DMA transfers on about 40% of clock speed, which mean about 30MHz. What are DMA speed which you reached and where can be my mistake?

Solution: Just like TDK said, PC13 pin is active high (can be seen below).Original q:Hello everyone,I and a few other friends of mine all ordered Nucleo 64-F103RB board, it comes with 32F103RBTx MCU. We did worked before ST MCU's (like 4-DISCO boards 407VG and such) and we know how GPIO Input works.This time when we wrote a basic input command something was off. System works completely opposite of it is supposed to work.Code and settings are this. Normally led on the board isn't supposed to blink on it's own but it is doing that on all boards. We have changed the input pin but it didn't worked. (it somehow started to work with PC3 but still fails to work with PC13). Schematics of the board also reveal that it is a normally open button.I'm not sure why all boards are doing this weird thing. Same code (when uploaded to 407VG) doesn't do this but wait for an input (in that case also the blue user button). What is wrong with the system ?

Ok, so I decided to change from Arduino IDE (STM32F103) to STM32CubeIDE (STM32F334R8).I can't get perfect timing.My program just have to toogle my pin after x us (that is presented inside a vector)Just to illustrate, here is my arduino code (I only get 1us of error):// Function called when overflow count is detected void Update_IT_callback(void){ // Tootlge pin digitalWrite(pin, !digitalRead(pin)); // This loop is just because I need to repeat it if (id_vector >= aux_signalsize){ id_vector = 0; loop_count++; if (loop_count >= size_loop){ MyTim->pause(); MyTim->refresh(); loop_count = 0; } }   // Set wait time in us to next toogle MyTim->setOverflow(aux_signal[id_vector++], MICROSEC_FORMAT); }And here is my HAL code (I get 2.3us error).void TIM1_UP_TIM16_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM1_UP_TIM16_IRQn 0 */ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(RF_Pin_GPIO_Port, RF_Pin_Pin);   if (vector_run == vector_max){ vector_run = 0; if (repeat_id == repeat){

Hello,I am facing a strange issue with STM32G0 RTC. As soon as I initialize RTC, it generates an interrupt and it never comes out of the interrupt. Same program was working previously and suddenly it started throwing this kind of issue. I am wondering what really went wrongvoid MX_RTC_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END RTC_Init 0 */   RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0}; RTC_DateTypeDef sDate = {0}; RTC_AlarmTypeDef sAlarm = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END RTC_Init 1 */ /** Initialize RTC Only */ hrtc.Instance = RTC; hrtc.Init.HourFormat = RTC_HOURFORMAT_24; hrtc.Init.AsynchPrediv = 127; hrtc.Init.SynchPrediv = 255; hrtc.Init.OutPut = RTC_OUTPUT_DISABLE; hrtc.Init.OutPutRemap = RTC_OUTPUT_REMAP_NONE; hrtc.Init.OutPutPolarity = RTC_OUTPUT_POLARITY_HIGH; hrtc.Init.OutPutType = RTC_OUTPUT_TYPE_OPENDRAIN; hrtc.Init.OutPutPullUp = RTC_OUTPUT_PULLUP_NONE; if (HAL_RTC_Init(&hrtc) != HAL_OK) {

I have audio pass-through working project for STM32F746/769 DISCO module, where block of 4 samples (2 left and 2 right channel ones) from input are passed to output chanell DMA buffer.My delay line implementation is as follows:#define BUFF_SIZE 4 #define DBUF_SIZE 8192 int32_t buff_in[BUFF_SIZE]; int32_t buff_out[BUFF_SIZE]; int32_t dbuf[DBUF_SIZE]; int    i=0,j=0,k; ... void HAL_SAI_RxCpltCallback(SAI_HandleTypeDef *hsai){   memcpy(&dbuf[i], buff_in, BUFF_SIZE*sizeof(uint32_t));    i += BUFF_SIZE;   if(i>=DBUF_SIZE) i=0;    memcpy(buff_out, &dbuf[i], BUFF_SIZE*sizeof(uint32_t)); }The effect should be a DBUF_SIZE/2 samples delay but instead of this i observe additionally echo, where subsequent repetitions of input signal occur at DBUF_SIZE/2*sample_period intervals.I suspect, that the source of this maybe some analog or digital loopback in WM8994 audio codec.Please, help me find the bug.Regards,R

I have looked at a bunch of examples throughout here and elsewhere about custom bootloaders.I noticed the Cortex M0 does not have the VTOR register and found that what people do is, at start, copy the vector table contents from the app flash beginning to the beginning of SRAM and then remap SRAM to address 0.I did that. But as soon as I, debugging within the bootloader project, step over the call on the application function pointer, the target is in the hardfault handler.The application address that the pointer variable holds looks correct, except it has exactly 1 byte more. I have read that odd addresses mean it is a Thumb2 instruction and the LSB goes elsewhere and is not really part of the address - so that would be expected.The CRC of the app code in the app flash region also matches.I have also exported that memory contents from CubeIDE (Eclipse) Memory Browser and compared it to the compiled binary in a hex editor - they match.My linker scripts look like this:Ther is one .ld file

Hello,I'm trying to capture single-shot ADC reading from 3 subsequent channels. I'm using CubeIDE and STM32L100RCT6 on the Discovery board, but I have the same results with STM32F103CBT6. I do everything according to that document, but whenever I try, my ADC fills the buffer with only one channel reading, stops, and never starts HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback() routine, so it gets stuck in the while loop, which is intended to stops processor and waits for conversion complete: I know it does not look wright, but I've also tried that: And it looks like it is working, but ADC only reads 2 channels out of 3 and loops (3rd reading should be smaller than 2nd). I attach my whole code below. Thanks for any help./* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */   #include <stdio.h>   /* USER CODE END Includes

Hello! I trying to use usart1 in main cycle, and VCP USB in usb interrupts. USB works fine, until i not using usart. When i try continiosely send data in main cycle, usb stack not working(enumeration fails):while (1) {   HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1, (uint8_t*)"Hello World\n", 12, 10);   /* USER CODE END WHILE */     /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */   }When i change USART1 to USART3, usb works normally... I can't understand - whats happens?STM32CubeMX version : 5.2.1Mcu: STM32F105RCOptimizaion O0 and O1, behavior is the same.

STEVAL-SPIN3201After looking at the schematic i can see that there is a second MCU to 'control' the STSPIN32F0. This second MCU has a STLINK connector for programming. My question is ; Is it possible to program the STSPIN32F0 directly and not have to use a second MCU. I am looking to program the STSPIN directly and not use any 'ready made' firmware. Is this possible with this evaluation board ? With this set up i dont see any way to utilize the hardware features of the integrated MCU within the STSPIN.

Hi all,I asked a question about settings 3 days ago, but there was no response from the community. However, I fixed the problem myself. I am sharing the solution as it may be useful for those who want to migrate the project from Keil to Atollic in the future.I imported the projects from Keil MDK to Atollic TrueStudio for both TM4C123GH6PM and STM32F407VG in order to use GDB and OpenOCD features. Wihile the Atollic version for TM4C123GH6PM that I use is Atollic TrueSTUDIO for ARM 7.0.1, the version for STM32F407VG is Atollic TrueSTUDIO for STM32 9.0.0.The problem was that I was facing a hard fault. The reason I faced the hard fault was related to the startup file. I edited the files for both TM4C123GH6PM and STM32F407VG. Now, my two Atollic projects work very well. I recommend Atollic to everyone, especially because of the GDB and OpenOCD features and no code limitations.You can see my Atollic settings in the attachment containing the startup files and linker files for both microco

Hello @ALABB , @Khouloud ZEMMELI I am requesting an enhancement in file FreeRTOSConfig.h. I observe STM32CubeMX adds the file to any STM32H7 project that uses FreeRTOS version 10.2.1 (with CMSIS version 2).https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/blob/beced99ac090fece04d1e0eb6648b8075e156c6c/Projects/STM32H743I-EVAL/Demonstrations/STemWin/Config/FreeRTOSConfig.h#L121And in the template file:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/blob/beced99ac090fece04d1e0eb6648b8075e156c6c/Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/include/FreeRTOSConfig_template.h#L149During code execution, ifconfigASSERT(0) gets executed, the code execution will stop, and without a debugger it is impossible to know why code got stuck.I therefore request to please update the ST provided Header file, and add a weak function to the statement, which can later be coded by the user.Is it possible to change the below line of code:#defineconfigASSERT( x ) if( ( x ) == 0 ) { taskDISABLE_INTE

Single click interrupt works fine, Double click interrupt works fine. When trying to enable both at the same time only the double clicks work. I have searched, and there are 3 old topics with this exact question, all are closed with no answer. Could you just provide an answer instead of just closing this one too? Is it a silicon bug? Or some error in the datasheet or appnote AN3308?

Hi,I have made a custom design for reading/writing NTAG213 tags based on the X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 board. I have adapted the firmware that works on this demo board (along with all the drivers related to the ST25R3916 and RFAL) into a STM32G030K8T6 microcontroller.I have neither capacitive sensing nor AAT implemented in Hardware and I have also disabled these mechanisms in the Firmware according to this post. The antenna design is very similar to the ST25R3916 Discovery Board (2 turns, 65mm x 85 mm). For the the antenna analysis I have measured its real parameters following the indications of the AN5276 Application Note: This is LANT = 1.03 uH RSDC = 440m Ohms fres = 60.19 MHz Rp @ fres = 7.29 Kohms Buy using the ST25R Antenna Matching Tool I get the following values for the custom board:  On the Firmware side the Initialization is successful (ERR_NONE)... but does not detect any tag during execution of the detection cycle routines.I have checked the presence of any signal near the
