hi everyonei have a strange problem when i try to set clock frequency at high speed.i'm using CubeMX to configure the system and developing on AtollicTrueStudio.i’ve noticed some weird facts setting the clock frequency more than 120MHz.first, is that the tick period result about 0.98ms. (at 180MHz)doing osDelay(1000) and measuring with an oscilloscope the period of a digital pin toggling, the period is actually about 980ms.with osDelay(100)->98ms.i’ve configured the clock at 180MHz using the HSE, but here another problem, if from PLL source MUX i select HSE, 1 tick become 3.2ms instead of 1ms. Selecting HSI from PLL source MUX, tick period become 0.98ms.setting 120MHz and HSI everything work fine.could someone reproduce this effect?what's going on?

Hello,Curious if there is some kind of plugin or something for bridging a design tool like Adobe Photoshop etc. into TouchGFX? More generally, if we're creating graphics in other tools, how do we bring those into TouchGFX for the UI development?

in datasheet :Boot modes At startup, boot pins are used to select one out of three boot options:  Boot from user Flash memory  Boot from system memory  Boot from embedded SRAM The boot loader is located in system memory. It is used to reprogram the Flash memory by using USART1 (PA9/PA10), USART3 (PC10/PC11 or PB10/PB11), CAN2 (PB5/PB13), USB OTG FS in Device mode (PA11/PA12) through DFU (device firmware upgrade).I want to use a bootloader on CAN2, but also ethernet RMII - the problem is that PB13 is used for CAN2_TX and ETH_RMII_TXD1the solution is to use for CAN2_TX PB6 - will the bootloader work on PB5, PB6 instead of PB5, PB13?I have a LQFP100 package and I can't remap ETH_RMII_TXD1.

Hello guys, hello @KnarfB ,@Community member I am struggling with this thing from past one month. I am using Quectel M66 gsm module and stm32f030cct6 controller. I am not able use UART interrupt for receiving large data when using gsm over uart. how do i receive phone number when there is a call on gsm.?Not able to store or display the data via uart on controller.please help me out. just give me help on code how to write that particular so that i can use it in my code. Thank you.

I cannot understand the term "coverglass crosstalk and smudge beyond 80 cm". Is the glass already in the sensor or does it mean that I can use any glass? Can I program the sensor without setting the preset mode or is it mandatoryThank you so much

Hi all,I am practicing the Secure boot using SBSFU using the stm32L476 development board. I have implemented a code for the SBSFU, but it is giving a warning WARNING: A Reboot has been triggered by a Watchdog reset!      INFO: Last execution detected error was: Watchdog error.= [EXCPT] WATCHDOG RESET FAULT!and I define the key for the 0x0000AAAAu, but it gets restarted inconsistently, for example, as first it will restart in 10 cycles of execution and next it will restart in 100 executions and again in 20 cycles like that, is there any reason behind this. I am really new to the SBSFU.Thanks.

Hi, I'm trying to measure the frequency of multiple signals using the STM32L1515RC. Using the External clock mode 1, I need one timer per signal. My question is if TIM10 and TIM11 support this mode.The TIM10 and TIM11 block diagrams (Figure 131, Figure 132) in the reference manual RM0038 shows them as having the capability, but 40 pages later the "TIM10/11 slave mode control register 1" has the relevant bits marked as reserved.So I'm not sure if i can use TIM10/11 to measure external signal frequency.

I enter STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=/dev/bus/usb/010/003 (lsusb reports this is correct) -w flashlayout_st-image-weston/trusted/Flashlayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-trusted.tsvudev drivers installed, Ubuntu 20.04Warning: Wrong connect parameter:

Hello to all!I have boards - NUCLEOL476RG and X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 with project "STM32L476RG-Nucleo_PollingTagDetectNdef" running on it.And got an error when trying to read any tag:When debugging program i found that error, its here in the code, doesn't match apduParam->statusWord == RFAL_T4T_ISO7816_STATUS_COMPLETEThe walue of statusWord is 27266 instead of 36864 (0x9000)Appreciate for help and sorry for my english))

Hi there,My new STM32F469I-DISCO just arrived I stumbled upon this part in user manual (UM1932):4.11 Virtual COM portThe serial interface USART3 is directly available as a virtual COM port of the PC connectedto the ST-LINK/V2-1 USB connector CN1. The virtual COM port settings are configured as:115200 b/s, 8 bits data, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control.So I did a quick test in CubeIDE and enabled USART6 with default settings and just send one char to my USB-Serial Adapter to check on my PC if the char arrives... and it does.Now I tried the same with USART3. As I plug in the DISCO board via its integrated STLink my Linux system tells me that a new serial device "ttyACM0: USB ACM" . So again I opened a serial terminal on ttyACM0 but no char gets received from the board.What I am doing wrong? Or is my understanding wrong? Is "USART3" meant to be part of the STM32F103xxx STLInk or is it part of the boards STM32F469xxx?

just like example ( page0 -> page1 -> page2 -> page0 -> page1 -> page2 -> page0 )help~~thank you.:eyes:

I'm working on creating a sfu loader to load sfb files from an external flash on a port I made for the STM32H735 (based on NUCLEO-H753ZI)I follow the same steps as used in the ymodem loader:read and verify header (reusing SFU_LOADER_VerifyFwHeader)erase active image in slot 1 (single slot config, starting at 0x08020000, ends at 0x080FFFFF) and set m_uDwlAreaAddress to m_uDwlAreaStart.run SE_Decrypt_Initwrite header to m_uDwlAreaAddress (== m_uDwlAreaStart) and increment it with SFU_IMG_IMAGE_OFFSET (1024)for each chunk of dataSE_Decrypt_Appendpad extra bytes if neededwrite to internal flash.It's at the last step that it fails during write. Writing the header succeeds however and using STM32CubeProgrammer I can verify the written data is correct.The first chunk is 1024B and is written to address 0x08020400.Looking into SFU_LL_FLASH_INT_Write() it turns out it fails on verification of the written data (if memcmp:(if (HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FLASHWORD, destination, (source + i

Hello, I have made an STemWin example with STM32F407 and ILI9341 with SPI interface.I think that there is an graphic driver problem. The graphics are not sharp. What Could be the correct driver settings ?My settings are;pDevice = GUI_DEVICE_CreateAndLink(GUIDRV_FLEXCOLOR, GUICC_565, 0, 0);GUIDRV_FlexColor_SetFunc(pDevice, &PortAPI, GUIDRV_FLEXCOLOR_F66709, GUIDRV_FLEXCOLOR_M16C0B8);

Greetings,I'm trying to use the STLINK-V3 debugger and programmer which is included on the NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q dev board to connect to external STM32. I have read https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000OmiV6SAJ/nucleoh732zg-has-strange-new-stlink-part and that seems to be possible, someone suggested cutting SWDIO and SWCLK traces, but my board has the capability to completely disable the power to the STM32H745ZI by means of disconnecting the JP4 jumper which connects VDD to VDD_MCU which powers it. I have connected my wires to the CN5 connector (MIPI10 on STDC14 footprint) I have confirmed that I'm getting SWCLK and SWDIO signals from the STLINK-V3 but I'm constantly getting "Error: No STM32 target found!" in STM32CubeProgrammer.The FW version of ST-LINK is V3J7M2.Can anyone help me with this?BRDomagoj

Hi everyone,I am trying to bring in sensor synchronization for accurate data acquisition in a wireless sensor network built using STM32F407 Discovery. ADXL355 Digital accelerometer (shown below ) provides full external sync by applying an external clock (enabled via the EXT_CLK bit) at 1.024 MHz on the INT2 pin (Pin 13) and an external synchronization signal, SYNC, on the DRDY pin (Pin 14). The pulse width of the SYNC signal must be at least 3.91 μs, which represents four cycles of the external clock(4 ÷ 1.024 MHz = ~3.91 μs). I used (Digilent) Analog Discovery 2 to provide an external clock 1.024 MHz and a SYNC signal 256 KHz ( 1.024 MHz / 4 ). When I tried this I can not get any response from the sensor but it worked good with internal clock. Can anyone help me to fix this problem? My functions that I used is found below :backhand_index_pointing_down: ADXL355_Result Device_ID(SPI_HandleTypeDef* spix,GPIO_TypeDef* GPIOx, uint16_t GPIO_Pin){ /****************** Check the Anal

Hello, I would like to create new project for STM32G474 in Atollic Truestudio 9.3 but I can't choose in Target my microcontroller. Atollic TruseStudio don't support those microcontroller?I use STM32G474 - nucleo board. I can't choose any STM32G familly. I can see microcontrollers like STM32H7, STM32F7, STM32G0 etc.. but not STM32G4. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello! I'm in the process of adapting code I wrote for the STM32F4 series to the new G4 series and I've ran into an issue. When I try to start a new DMA transfer on completion of the current one by running HAL_DAC_Start_DMA from the HAL_DAC_ConvCpltCallbackCh1 routine this only works once and no subsequent interrupt is generated when that conversion is complete.On the F4 series this worked fine, but now I can only get it to work by setting a flag in the callback and then initiating a new transfer from my main loop. Are these functions implemented differently on the G4 series or could I be overlooking a hardware issue? Perhaps there is a more recommended way of doing this?BTW: I'm using the V1.4.0 Cube Firmware

I want to use a CMSIS-DSP FIR function in my code and get a compile error:compiling phase_det.c... ../Drivers/CMSIS/Include/core_cm4.h(81): error: #35: #error directive: "Compiler generates FPU instructions for a device without an FPU (check __FPU_PRESENT)" #error "Compiler generates FPU instructions for a device without an FPU (check __FPU_PRESENT)" ..\Src\phase_det.c: 0 warnings, 1 errorIn Keil I used the 'Manage Runtime Environment ' to add CMSIS-DSP Library. In my source code file I haven't yet added the FIR, but I did add the include "arm_math.h".What does the above error mean? The STM32G431 does have an FPU as far as I know (Ref Manual). Anyway, I want to use fixed point FIR.What steps do I need to take to properly install the CMSIS-DSP Library?

I'm using a X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 (on a Nordic nrf5340 dev kit board), and want to enable/test Capactive Wakeup. Before enabling, I'm trying to perform direct command 0xDD Calibrate Capacitive Sensor. According to the data sheet, this should be performed while in Power Off mode, and the an interrupt will be generated on termination.I never see any interrupt generated, I'm expecting to see an IRQ due to termination of direct command. How long should calibration take? I've waited for up to 10s, still no interrupt.Any suggestions on things to look at/try to get this working?Normal power on mode NFC reading of Type 2 tags works fine.

HiI start with a template. I'm generating GFX without error. I open the STM32CubeIDE. There are * .cpp files. There is no * .hpp. Why? RegardsAndrzej

Hi, I'm using the LIS3DHTR and I read the applications note and the datasheet, but after that I'm still no understanding how to use the high pass filter, so I have some questions.1-The purpose of the high pass filter is to filter de DC component?2-I read that 2 modes exits, but in the application note AN3308 explains that there are 4 modes. Could you explain exactly what each mode do and how to use them? I do not understand if I need to reed the reference register each ODR or only at the beggining and the differences between each mode.¡Thanks !

hello everyone,I use the spc560B064 chip for my project with 5 flexcan (flexcan0, flexcan1, flexcan2, flexcan4, flexcan5) use on the board.I use the SPC560Bxx LowLevel driver generate by SPC5studio (v6.0) everything is good with the two first can unit but when I try to send frame with the flexcan 5 nothing happen (no activity on tx pin) the transmit code of the mailbox pass to 0x0C after transmit function call but stay at this value.I double check and output pin are well configure, the Tx pin go high after init and stay there... even if I populate a tx mail box. PCR register for ouput pin and padsel for input are at good value.Is anyone have an idea about the problem? Thanks by advance

I am using STM32CUBE IDE v1.6.0 with TouchGFX v4.16.1 installed and using firmware version V1.16.0.Yet in the Middleware sections, the graphics section is not there.Can anyone tell me why?
