I'll just repeat the questions to make them easier to read:
Is it possible that -1.5V is applied to the CPU for all IN, OWM, DIAGx/ENx?
- Yes, in case of negative transients it is possible that -1.5V will be present on all control pins.
Does this countermeasure rely on the parasitic diode protection of the CPU?
- There are parasitic p-n junctions (diodes) at the MCU pins, but they are usually not intended to be used for protection. The protection resistor Rprot on the one hand limits the current for such a negative transient at Vbat and on the other hand protects the controlling MCU from latching-up.
Are there any pull-down resistors in each input port?
- If you mean the input pins of the VNH5019ATR-E: no, there are no pull resistors.
