Hello everyone, Are there any boards that will allow me to run the MCU at 180MHz or more , while still supporting the use of the FullSpeed USB at 48MHz? The board should have at least 2 ADC's & 1 DAC.Please suggest how may I achieve this !Thank you.

Hi, When I leave my code to play for more than one hour I received the error HardFault_Handler(), I found in registers whats the last line executed before entering in the error function, below I put a picture of this part of the code.  Note: That error is random, don't have a specific moment time when happens.

I need to add a specific version of FreeRTOS to my STM32F103 CubeIDE project, I cannot use the Middleware package in CubeMX.I have tried several times to get the FreeRTOS files into CubeIDE, both using "Import" from Filesystem and drag and drop of files into the Project Explorer. Each time the files appear in the Project Explorer but they do not get built. What am I missing here? Thanks.

I need a blocking very short time delay. So I set up Timer 6 to run at 90 MHz, with no interrupts.I need delays from 0.5 to 30 microseconds for an interface I have to bit-bang.I was hoping for a simple delay routine like this:void Timer6_delay(uint16_t clocks){   TIM6_CNT = 0;   while (TIM6_CNT < clocks);}Except TIM6_CNT is not the right name.In the documentation: RM0390 it says in Paragraph 19.3.1 Time-base unit it saysThe main block of the programmable timer is a 16-bit upcounter with its related auto-reloadregister. The counter clock can be divided by a prescaler. The counter, the auto-reload register and the prescaler register can be written or read bysoftware. This is true even when the counter is running. The time-base unit includes:Counter Register (TIMx_CNT)Prescaler Register (TIMx_PSC)Auto-Reload Register (TIMx_ARR)So I mistakenly thought it was called TIM6_CNT. And if it is, the Compiler does not know about it.Is it in a special include file I ma

Hello community ! I hope you are doing well,I have actually a question which is kind of "DIY" and is not MCU developpment related. I have Nucleo F767ZI, and I need to get it screwed to a plexiglas board. I didn't find out whether the holes next to arduino pins (which are tycpically present in all nucléo models) are for screws or not. I've been looking for an answer but couldn't find a similar topic. I noticed that there are some bias and pcb routing close to the holes, so I didn't want to risk giving the board a chance to be damaged.I would be thankful if someone have an answer for this.Best regards.Wijdenne

Hello.1. Whether the hardware ECC for STM32F437IIH6 support error detection and error correction? STM32F437 is connect to NAND Flash through FMC with Bank2. Reference manual RM0090 section 37.6.6 describe it can perform 1-bit error correction and 2-bit error detection. This error detection and error corretion is supported by hardware or realized by software?2.Figure 457 FMC memory banks in RM0090 describe the Bank2 for NAND Flash is 4x64 MB. Is that means the NAND flash connected to Bank2 should be 256MB max.? However, as NAND flash doesn't have address pins, and the address is defined through the commands, whether I can connect a 512Mbytes or 1Gbytes NAND Flash to Bank2?Thank you.

Hello,I'm trying to import a project in STM32CubeIde. Each time I have the following error from the Java Virtual Machine Launcher:"Error: Unable to access jarfile C:\Program"I have the same error when directly trying to launch STM32CubeIDE (projet importerà.exe in CubeIDE subdirectory.STM32CubeIde works properly!I already uninstall/reinstall Java and CubeIde, whith no succes. My configuration:STM32CubeIde 1.6.1Java 291Any idea what is wrong here?--edit--same error when, after generating with CubeMX, I select "Open Project"Thank youAntoine

I am trying to get the CAN Bus to work. I am using a NUCLEO-F446RE. It fails in the HAL_CAN_Init() routine. Which is code that is auto generated. Someone suggested maybe the board is bad. Fortunately I had a NUCLEO-F446ZE (144 pin package board) and it did not stop at that point with no hardware hooked up. I removed the hardware and the bare NUCLEO-F446RE still hung at the same place. I determined my NUCLEO-F446RE board must be bad. I ordered another NUCLEO-F446RE, and tested the bare board and it still hangs in the same place. Is this a known issue? Do I need to switch over to the NUCLEO-F446ZE if I want to use CAN?

Hello Community!I have a project where I was using a STM32F407 MCU from a minimal ready-to-run system with USB, programming connection and pin headers to access every MCU pin. While using this hardware, the project can be loaded and executed on the MCU.However, to improve the hardware solution I integrated all these features in my own PCB and buy the MCU. The problem is that when connecting it for the very first time to STM32CubeProgrammer the system does not find the target at all.I have checked the following things on the MCU pins:Power supply 3.3V is OKMCU current consumption is in the order of uA, lower than the specified by STM in the hardest Energy Saving mode.Continuity from MCU pins and Progrrammer connector is OKClock signal from ST-Link Device is properly reaching the MCU.Boot pins are properly managed by the programmerThe error raised by the STM32CubeProgrammer is the same as if there were no MCU connected: NO STM TARGET FOUND!I bought a batch of 10 MCUs and the error i

This is the first time in this forum and want to start working on the ST micro controller. My main aim is a. Buy high end ST evaluation kit and understand the FOC algorithm for PMSM motors. The kit should contain the motor along with evaluation kit.b. I get the source code with the kit and modify the source according to my requirements.Request to please suggest me a motor control evaluation kit. Thanks in advance

Hi,I've implemented the RFAL-HL ( Higher Layer ) based on X-Cube-NFC5 in our project.Currently, the example only provides us with a way to detect tags only. I would like to know, what's the procedure by which we can send an NDEF data packet to a P2P device with RFAL-HL.Regards,Ayush

Hi there, I have a Nucleo-H755ZI-Q and want to get the CDC driver working with USB_FS on the M4 core. I'm having an issue where USB_CoreReset() HAL function times-out waiting for the USB core to reset. Here's the steps I take to create the issue:Download latest CubeMx and firmware packageStart a new project for Nucleo-H755ZI-Q with peripherals set as default. Enable USB_FS on the M4 core and the VCOM middle-ware. Configure clocks so that M7 is at 480MHz, M4 is at 240MHz, running from the 8MHz HSEConfigure USB clock to have 48MHz from PLL 1QGenerate code for CubeIDEThe M7 auto-generated project fails to build with "No rule to make target '../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/stm32h7xx_hal_eth.c"! .. But I'll tackle that issue later..The M4 project builds and runs. The problem is in USB_CoreReset() at line 196 of stm32h7xx_ll_usb.c. Bit 0 of USBx->GRSTCTL never clears. There doesn't seem to be a CDC example for this Nucleo. I have tried the same process for a Nucleo-F4 I have lying around,

I have a problem where even I already set the FRXTH to 1, the RXNE will automatically RESET after the SPI write data to DR register.I check using DEBUGGING MODE:In main(), I already SET the FRXTH based on the reference manual below: Then, after I write the data into DR register, it SET the RXNE as below: But, after I execute the next instruction, which is not related to any SPI, Len-- to go out from the loop, my RXNE automatically RESET as below:  This cause my code will hang at the SPI check flag status in the SPI ReceiveData.Anyone knows what is the problem? or my SPI_senddata code is problem

In my project,, the tags need to be scanned and sent to our created website,, the data needs to get sent via LAN or wifi using LAN module and esp 32.Our code is written on Arduino IDE.My question is that,, can this reader (ST25RU3993) be interfaced with my system.

For one project we would want to use only de M4 core of the SM32MP157 MPU. We want this because we have no time to learn how to develop the whole application using linux and the whole potential of the MPU, but we would want to have the hardware ready for a future update. We have been trying to use the M4 core in engineering mode, but we have been only able to debug the code. When we unplug the board and replug it the code is not executed. The board that we are using is the STM32MP157A-DK1. Thank you in advance for the help

I am writing a bootloader for an STM32L071CB target. In certain cases this code results in a HardFault, but in other cases it works. I know that this alone indicates that it's probably something to do with the state of the rest of my program, but I can't figure out what that is -- specifically, what is the `signal handler` that is called just before the HardFault? Here is the code causing the problem (`flash_ptr` and `data_ptr` are `uint32_t*` types):HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); for (i = 0; i < len / sizeof(uint32_t); i++) { HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORD, (uint32_t)(flash_ptr + i), *(data_ptr + i)); } HAL_FLASH_Lock();As soon as `HAL_FLASH_Program` is entered, I get a HardFault. Specifically, when I step into the function, I get this:WWDG_IRQHandler () at startup_stm32l071xx.S:140 140 b Infinite_LoopIf I write a `HardFault_Handler` then it enters that, so I feel like it's aliasing to WWDG_IRQHandler (WWDG is disabled in my application). So, I have no idea what signal is calling

Using STM32CubeProgrammer to connect to my discovery board. Connection to the board via ST-Link is lost within 30 seconds every time.things I have done:1.) Performed "full chip erase" via the STM32CubeProgrammer application2.) Selected the appropriate external loader for my discovery board3.) Tried to program the included demo file (STM32769I-DISCO_DEMO_V1.0.0_FULL.hex) but it never completes before the board disconnects4.) Tried every combination of the "mode" and "reset mode" selections offered in the application5.) Searched the forums for an answer and posted a support ticket to ST.... no responseDoes anyone have any suggestions of next steps to try??
