Hi there!Is there a way to permanently disable the resolve clock issues feature of STM32CubeIDE-1.7.0? I've tried saying "No" and remember my options, but the interface just completely ignores me and does it anyway. It's utterly infuriating. Is there a preferences option somewhere I can set?Is there a setting somewhere to disable this feature? It's frustrating as it keeps trashing my settings before I can fix them manually.As it stands, it basically makes the .ioc view editor unusable. Since sometimes it just gets stuck updating clock frequencies even when you explicitly ask it not to, and it can very quickly ruin a configuration.Regards,Luke

I am trying to build custom boards using LSM9DS1, I shot through the data sheet, but the information on these two pins is not clear enough? What is the purpose of these pins(DRDY_M & DEN_A/G)?

I need to confirm what the ODR represents - the default ODR is 26667Hz. But what is the actual internal sample rate pre anti-aliasing filter (which must be implemented internally)?Assuming the actual Fsample is at least 26667, then ODR simply represents the output data rate with respect to additional bandwidth filtering - correct?To calculate the data parameters for implementation of an FFT, which figure do I use - 26667 or ODR? For example:Is Delta-F (spectral resolution) = 26667 / N pts always, regardless of ODR?Similarly, is sample period (Ts) = 1/26667 always, regardless of ODR?

Dear ST community, I am new developing firmware for stm32s. I am trying to enable the interrupt for RTC wakeup for a nucleoL476RG board using STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 (which is using STM32CubeMX 6.3.0-RC5). I am selecting WakeUp: Internal WakeUp. I am also enabling RTC wake-up interrupt through EXTI line 20 and selecting Generate IRQ handler and Call HAL handler. However, the  HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT call is not been created in MX_RTC_Init. Interestingly,  the alternate HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer does get generated if I select Internal WakeUp but without enabling the interrupt.Am I missing something in my configuration or is there a bug in STM32Cube? Help would be appreciated!

Hi, I am quoting from a previous question posted on this forum but hasn't been answered. I wanted an answer to the exact same question:I am using the STEVAL-SPIN3201 board to control a BLDC motor.I want to implement a position controller, so I need to hold tight the position of the rotor at a given position (1 phase to Gnd, 1 phase to pulsed Vm, and 1 floating phase).The problem that I am encountering now, is that the Control logic gate driver embedded inside the STSPIN32F0 does not allow to set both High and Low n-channel mosfet gates at the same position (1 & 1 or 0 & 0). I understand that 1 & 1 causes a short-circuit , but I need 0 & 0 in order to set the floating phase.Is it possible to set a floating phase on STSPIN32F0?Thank you in advance.

HellowI want to display any debug message on the console of the CubeIDE, using the printf() function.How can I do this?Thanks

Hi.I'm graduate student, researching UHF passive RFID tag, in Dongguk university, Seoul, Korea.Thanks to offer materials like documentations, video. It was really helpful for my study. Before purchase the ST25RU3993-HPEV to measure research results, I want to check some questions. At page 39 and 49 of ST25RU3993 datadheet, document says "In EPC Class 1 Gen2 protocol, the decoder supports long Rx preamble (TRext=1) for FM0" and "Short preamble is supproted for Miller 4 and Miller 8 coding". I wondering it means "FM0 coding can't use short Rx preamble (TRext=0) to communicate with ST25RU3993".At page 48 of same document, if I set Rx_crc_n=1 (Rx without CRC), does it mean ST25RU3993 never check CRC for all received data from a tag?Finally, at UM2268 User manual (about ST25RU3993 GUI software), I want to know can I custom commands like Read/Write.Thanks for your help.

Since I flashed the Nucleo-F439ZI board with a firmware, I can neither flash another firmware nor go into debug mode. No error message appears in the console. What could this be?

Hi - I'm having a real struggle with the SAI peripheral. I've tried on both H742, and WB55 module, and am running into the same problem.I have the source set up in the clock config (Tried both PLL1 and PLL2, and using PLLSA1P on WB), and made sure I correctly configured and enabled the appropriate PLLs). Enabled the SAI peripheral, with what seemed like reasonable defaults in the SAI registers. Configured the SAI pins as AF6. (PE4, 5, 6 on H7) Anywhere you'd troubleshoot first?Surface level problem: SAI SA_xDR reads 0. Deeper: Scope shows no signals on the SCK line. Most fundamental: The SAI_xCR1, SAIEN field shows 0, even if read immediately after setting itHere's a selection of register readings from H742 after (attempting to) enabling SAI1:SAI1 source (RCC_D2CCIP1R, SAI1SEL): 1 (PLL2P)PLL2 ready (RCC_CR, PLL2RDY): 1 (Ready)PLL2P enabled (RCC_PLLCFGR, DIVP2EN): 1 (Enabled)SAI periph clock enabled (RCC_APB2ENR, SAI1EN): 1 (Enabled)SAI1 mode(SAI_ACR1, MODE): 1 (Master receiver)SAI1 ena

I am using the STM32L151 processor.I noticed that the LSE takes between 140ms and 712ms to get ready RCC_FLAG_LSERDY. I think Is a time of 700ms still a correct time? Fluctuations are normal?code:while ((uint16_t)RCC_GetFlagStatus(RCC_FLAG_LSERDY) == (uint16_t)RESET) {    /* Waiting for LSE to be started */}

I am trying to record instruction traces on-chip via ETF on a stm32mp157a-dk1 board, but the data read from FIFO through RRD is always 0. During the debugging process, I found the value of ETM_AUTHSTAT is 0x08, which means non-secure non-invasive debug disabled.... uint32_t ret; void __iomem *vaddr = ioremap(ETM_AUTHSTAT, 4); ret = __raw_readl(vaddr); iounmap(vaddr); ...After that, I tried to read DBG_AUTHSTAT and BSEC_DENABLE respectively:[10725.551984] Check some registers...... [10725.555600] BSEC_DENABLE:047F [10725.565686] DBG_AUTHSTAT:00FFIt seems all debug signals are 1.So what I want to confirm is whether the trace function is disabled on my board? Is it because stm32mp1 supports the Security Extensions?

My dedicated hardware does not support uart/i2c/spi on the pins that are mentioned in AN2606. To update firmware IAP, I need to write my own bootloader that behaves the same as the default one (I want to use stm32flash tool as host, which fasten my work) with only changed uart pins and maybe disabled other serial communication peripherals. Is this bootloader source code available anywhere?

Hello fellow ST guys. I'm working with the LSM6DSO IMUs in my project. Nice chip indeed. Now I need to connect multiple IMUs and I need to synchronize them, so that I can read the data from all of those chips sequentially (asserting chip select pins one at a time while reading out the data contents) after triggering an INT from just one IMU. Is there any way or should I read all of my INT pins individually and store a timestamp value for each device data output?

Hi,I have a SPC570S MCU running FreeRTOS and is connected to a CAN bus. I came across an issue where the MCU freezes randomly, when there traffic in the CAN bus before is it switched on. Could someone help me in this matter. This happens randomly, and I have isolated the problem by uploading two code stacks, one with CAN and one without.Nisal

I'm trying to run FAT over SD MMC. But it does not work in SD initial stage... I'm using CubeMX.The simplest one code: status = HAL_SD_Init(&hsd1); if(status != HAL_OK) { debug_print_message("---SD card initialize failed!\n"); HAL_Delay(100); } else { debug_print_message("++++SD card initialized!\n"); HAL_Delay(100); }HAL_SD_Init() from stm32l5xx_hal_sd.c - it was generated by CubeMX.Debug mode shows SD CRC error - HAL_SD_ERROR_DATA_CRC_FAILLogic Analyzer shows some communication - card answer:Initial clock 400 kHz, some request and replay.

Is there a way to have any MCU control the antenna function of the ST25R3916, if we use the ST25R3917, as there is a stock shortage of the 3916 ?

Hi, I am working with the ST25RU3993 HPEV board. I have configured the API with the USA frequency profile and every time I launch a new inventory it runs the pre-tuning algorithm which takes about 17 seconds. Is there any way to avoid this? I mean, some functionality that stores the tuning parameters and applies them every time an inventory is executed?BR, Nicolas

Hello,I am working on application that would use microphone array. Together with STM32H735IG board I decided to use STEVAL-MIC001V1 microphone array connected via DFSDM interface. I based my project on example available in CubeMX - DFSDM_AudioRecord project where same interface and microphones are used as an demonstration. While I use this project I don't have any problem, I am receiving echoed audio on headphones.My problem begin here. While I copy most of this sample solution, my audio input that I read in the buffer on debug mode is totally out of expected results. I receive buffer full of 0x7fff and 0x8000 (after shifting, saturating and casting variable - see in the code).My initialization code:[...] /* MPU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ MPU_Config(); /* Enable I-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableICache(); /* Enable D-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableDC
