how disable boot 0 pin8 i used this pin for input make problem to boot from flash how can disable any condition mcu boot from flash not check this pin when reset

Hi everyoneI am new to toughgfx and need a scroll wheel for our new project. So I started with the tutorial 4. I think I followed every step, but when I copy the code, I get an error. The problem seems to be the textBuffer and TEXT_SIZE (Unicode::itoa(no, textBuffer, TEXT_SIZE, 10);). I get the message that they are not defined.As far as I know the tutorial should have all the steps and all the code needed.Any Idea what I'm missing?Thank you!#ifndef MENUELEMENT_HPP #define MENUELEMENT_HPP   #include <gui_generated/containers/MenuElementBase.hpp> #include <BitmapDatabase.hpp>   class MenuElement : public MenuElementBase { public: MenuElement(); virtual ~MenuElement() {}   virtual void initialize();     void setNumber(int no) { Unicode::itoa(no, textBuffer, TEXT_SIZE, 10); switch (no % 7) { case 0: icon.setBitmap(Bitmap(BITMAP_ICON00_ID)); break; case 1: icon.setBitmap(Bitmap(BITMAP_ICON01_ID)); break; case 2: icon.setBitmap(Bitmap(BIT

Is it possible to wake up by connecting the UART pins in PWR_EnterSTOPMode to the pins used for wake up?

Good day everyone,I'm trying to make my own NFC antenna for ST25R95. This is my first time making antenna and I got errors in EMI calculation, probably because of bad values on components since I couldn't find much on internet to reference from.First of all I got the inductance 790.63nH Then, using online calculation tool ( https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/tools/trace-resistance-calculator/ - can't insert url for some reason ) I got antenna resistance of 0.736ohms.Using online impedance calculator (https://www.translatorscafe.com/unit-converter/en-US/calculator/inductor-impedance/) I got 67.36ohmHaving all the antenna values, I started filling out the EMI calculation tool. I used values of components I have at hand for low pass filter, 2.2uH for inductors and bunch of pico-nano capacitors as well as variety of resistors for receiving part, I still keep getting error for the matching circuit calculations.Admittedly even after reading ST's and other available sources (AN3394, AN5248

Problem description:1-2 bytes in a ~30 byte message (usually at the same spot in the msg) are sometimes missing. Usually it is the 13th byte.If I send shorter msgs via SPI like 10 bytes, the other party receives them correctly.If I wait 50us after pulling NSS low, the other party receives even long msgs correctly.Let us assume, that after pulling NSS low, the transmission starts too soon. Why is a byte in the middle of the msg missing then and not at the beginning?Maybe it's an oscillating NSS pin that goes high/low but I couldn't see anyhting on the oscilloscope. I know that the probe will add to the capacitance of the trace so any signal rise will be slower and any oscillation dampened just by hooking up the probe.Fix for now:Wait 50us after pulling NSS low.Question1:But I don't understand why the fix works... it makes no sense to me. NSS goes high/low in about 200ns (measured with probe, ultra short GND connection). A different measurement showed 1300ns (with long lead on the probe)

Hello everyone,I am working on a project where I need to measure the RSSI value on an NFC reader and NFC tag. The RSSI needs to be the same (or proportional) on both sides and then stored on two microcontrollers on both sides for further processing.I first tried to get the value in the software but then I realized that the tag (ANT7-T-ST25DV04K) cannot provide such information, unlike the reader (ST25R3911B on X-NUCLEO-NDC05A1). This is not helpful because the RSSI needs to be measured independently on both sides.I then tried to measure the signals on the reader and tag antennas on an oscilloscope to analyze the strength of the signal sent by the tag and the load modulation amplitude on the reader side as suggested here question/0D53W00000zoFtwSAE/rssi-measurement-via-st-nfc-sensor-app and here question/0D53W00000XFfD1SAL/hi-i-was-wondering-if-there-is-an-application-to-test-the-signal-strength-between-st25r3911b-disco-and-stevalsmarttag1-many-thanks. The main problem I faced here is t

Hello,I have a TouchGFX project with a STM32F429DISCO board. On my home page I have 3 radio button and there are all in the same RadioButtonGroup. But when I go in other screen and I come back to my home page, the choice of radio button is reset.How to fix it ?Thanks for all

I swear i was able to do this in the past but then ...... then i updated from 6.3.0 to cubeMX 6.6.1.Maybe thats the reason, maybe not . Im using a stm32f105RBT6When i flash the chip and remove the stlink both PA13 and PA14 are stuck into some idle 1,3V floating state instead of toggle each second like PA10I am not sure where should i look to be sure pin SW functions are not on.Setting up pins as GPIOs in cubeMX Code inside main, simple GPIO toggleint main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */   /* USER CODE END SysInit */   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX

Can someone help me understand the profile of the trapezoidal move? for example if I would like to make a movement of 10 radiance in 10 seconds using the MC_ProgramPositionCommandMotor1 how much of the 10 seconds will be acceleration, constant velocity and deceleration? and can this profile be changed? Ideally i would like to achieve 1/6 accelleration 4/6 constant velocity and 1/6 deceleration, is this even possible? is there somewhere in the code where I can specify this?

My first time exploring with STEVAL hardware. I just received the STEVAL-MKI108V3 mother board, the STEVAL-MKI196V1 sensor board, and installed UNICO GUI 9.13.0 and FW Version V3.11.4. When starting the Unico Program with both "Automatic Port Detection" and "Communication with the motherboard" enabled then selecting MKI186V1 sensor (LSM6DSO), a dialog box appears saying "The WHO_AM_I register value does not match the device selected." Looking at the motherboard and sensor board documentation, there does not seem to be any jumpers for setting device address.I have verified the orientation of the sensor board into the DIL socket. I believe the LSM6DSO address is either 0x6A or 0x6B, but have no idea what address Unico is looking for. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?Out of curiosity, with USB plugged into mother board and blue LED is on, I measured the voltage at pin VDD to GND on sensor socket and it is 30mv (expected 3.6v). Is the device powered on automatically by mother board,

Hi,Where can I find how the protection against DPA attacks implemented in the STM32U585 microcontroller works?I couldn't find anything in the datasheet and reference manual.Thanks

Linker scripts generated by STM32CubeIDE 1.10.1 for the STM32WB55 (but also other STM32 platforms) reserve the first 4 bytes of RAM1. Below is an excerpt from STM32WB55RGVX_FLASH.ld demostrating that. Similarly every STM32 linker script I've seen appears to reserve first 4 (sometimes 8) bytes of RAM. Why are those 4 bytes of RAM1 reserved? Can I reclaim them and use for my own purposes?MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 512K RAM1 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000004, LENGTH = 0x2FFFC RAM_SHARED (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20030000, LENGTH = 10K }

Hello, I want to use the ST25R3916 as poller for a WLC project. Is there a firmware library (in best case open source) available which is compliant with the NFC Forum Wireless Charging Specification 2.0?Many thanks for your answers in advance,Kind regards,Christian

I have a couple of STEVAL-PTOOL1V1 boards that I wish to use to quickly demonstrate a motor driver to a client however I can no longer find the ready-complied firmware image that is supposed to be available with the boards.The boards are still for sale but the firmware image seems not to be available.Does anyone know where I can find it?I have spent years programming Atmel (now Microchip), TI, and PIC processors and don't want to spend hours learning yet another IDE and programming environment until after the demo gets me the project!Many thanks

I use a ST25DV on my board, which communicates through I2C to a uC and through NFC with a smartphone, app developped with Flutter for Android and iOS. Everything works correctly, but sometimes, when I'm writing from Smartphone to ST25DV EEPROM and the tag is lost, the RF communications is disabled; my app (but also native ST25 app) is not able to detect tag, I must restart my device to see it back to work. During this condition, the I2C bus works correctly and also if I re-initialize the ST25DV, the RF remains blocked. Is there a way to understand why and/or a turnaround to solve the problem?

How to put ST25R3916 in high power transfer mode without communication with NFC tag. for wireless charging?Is amplitude measurement method good for checking the FOD?Does Having tunable capacitor in hardware design and not using those function can create antenna detuning issues?How to make sure that the antenna is best matched with enclosure and targeted NFC tag?

Hi ST experts,Would like to check if STM's MPU able to support Window CE 6 or Linux platform?Thank you

Hi!Problem: The board boots correctly into the Linux kernel, but the kernel is unable to mount the rootfs.We designed a custom board using stm32mp157f. It is based on the DK2 with some differences:PLL Base clock 48Mhz (instead of 24MHz)Other power supply than the pmic (with a fixed power regulators)eMMC on board (not used)Therefore changes to the tf-a and u-boot (dts) had to be made.The changes were applied on copies of the dts files for stm32mp157f-dk2.u-boot sees mmc0:STM32MP> mmc info Device: STM32 SD/MMC Manufacturer ID: 9f OEM: 5449 Name: SDCIT Bus Speed: 50000000 Mode: SD High Speed (50MHz) Rd Block Len: 512 SD version 3.0 High Capacity: Yes Capacity: 15 GiB Bus Width: 4-bit Erase Group Size: 512 Bytesand is able to load the kernel and initrd:bootcmd_nexio boot_syslinux_conf extlinux/nexio_extlinux_6.conf switch to partitions #0, OK mmc0 is current device Scanning mmc 0:4... I am working with a NUCLEO_l452RE, temperature 25°C, 1.8V, and I am measuring current on JP6, so I tried to reproduce: I set up MSI@1Mhz, I got 280uA, much more than 100uA which I was expecting.Later with MSI@24Mhz, I got 3.24 mA, 135uA/MHz, closer to 100uA.I disable UART, RCC, LED, disconnect the USB port, and used an external power supply.There is a bias in current consumption about 180uA? there is something I can do to mitigate it?On en.fistm324l.pdf I found another number of current consumption, I am very confused about what to expect.

SWAP_BANK for the STM32L552 is a bit in the eeprom, but we want to swap the flash banks in an own bootloader dynamically and do not want to expire the eeprom's lifetime,Any option to swap the memory without eeprom settings?
