looking into this community i see that - azureRTOS https://community.st.com/s/topic/0TO3W0000004ZG8WAM/azurertos is under STM32 MCUs https://community.st.com/s/topic/0TO0X000000BSqSWAW/stm32-mcus- FreeRTOS_MPU https://community.st.com/s/topic/0TO0X0000005I9OWAU/freertosmpu is under STM32 MPUs https://community.st.com/s/topic/0TO0X0000003u2AWAQ/stm32-mpusI don't really understand why FreeRTOS is not a sub topic for STM32 MCUs in the forum.I looked into using FreeRTOS (in tickless mode) together with CubeMX and have the impression that the support for FreeRTOS in CubeMX is limited when it comes to regenerating code.  I didn't work with AzureRTOS (in tickless mode) before.From what i did see in a STM32C0 workshop FreeRTOS is not really a topic but AzureRTOS is promoted.My questions to STM and the community:- Is / will FreeRTOS for STM32 MCUs really be supported by STM ?- Are the problems named in https://nadler.com/embedded/newlibAndFreeRTOS.html worked on / solved by

On STM32MP1, how to use the internal temperature sensor, ADC2_INP12 and internal factory calibration?Any example?Is it possible to access these data via A7 or just on M4 ?

Hello,I have NUCLEO-G031K8 and want to change nBOOT0 using STM32CubeProgrammer (v2.12.0) but I'm unable to do so.I get four message boxes from STM32CubeProgrammer:"Warning: Option Byte: nSwap_BANK, does not exist","Warning: Option Byte: DUAL_BANK, does not exist","Warning: option Byte: DUAL_BANK, is not programmable","Option Bytes successfully programmed". Even though the fourth message box says that option bytes were successfully programmed - nBOOT0 value is unchanged.Here's log from STM32CubeProgrammer: 09:41:13 : Option byte command : -ob DUAL_BANK=1 nSWAP_BANK=1 IRHEN=1 nBOOT1=1 nBOOT_SEL=1 RAM_PARITY_CHECK=1 WWDG_SW=1 IWDG_STDBY=1 IWDG_STOP=1 IWDG_SW=1 nRST_SHDW=1 nBOOT0=1 09:41:13 : PROGRAMMING OPTION BYTES AREA ... 09:41:13 : Warning: Option Byte: DUAL_BANK, is not programmable 09:41:13 : Warning: Option Byte: DUAL_BANK, does not exist 09:41:13 : Warning: Option Byte: nSWAP_BANK, does not exist 09:41:13 : Bank : 0x00 09:41:13 : Address : 0x40022020 09:41:13 : Size :

in TouchGFX 4.20 i added PhysicalButtons like described in the documentation and it worked fine"PhysicalButtons": [ { "Key": 0, "Name": "BUTTON_0" } ],I see BUTTON_0 appearing in the touchgfx designer Trigger "Hardware Button is clicked"After updating to 4.21 this does not work anymore. The physical buttons are not shown in touchgfx designer

Hi!I'm trying to get an SPH0645 microphone to send sound data to my STM32F411 with HAL_I2S_Receive(), but the data I receive is not correct. According to the data sheet, the microphone gives 24 bits data on a 32 bit frame, with 24 bits containing data and the rest being filled with zeroes, which I confirmed by looking on my oscilloscope: (yellow is data, blue is word select and purple is clock)I try reading this data with the HAL_I2S_Receive() function as shown in the following code snippet:/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2023 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this softwar

We use the STM32Cube Programer in Virtual desktop，but in the desktop, the software can not enumerate the device, I try to find the reason, found the software STM32Cube programer use the libusb verstion 1.0.19, the version of 1.0.24 fix this issue. Could update the libusb version, thanks

Hi everyone,I am having a hard time trying to get the max clock frequency out of the STM32H753ZIT6U.This is the revision V model and is capable of hitting 480MHz unlike its Y revision. This is my code to get to 480MHz:LL_PWR_ConfigSupply(LL_PWR_LDO_SUPPLY); LL_PWR_SetRegulVoltageScaling(LL_PWR_REGU_VOLTAGE_SCALE1); LL_APB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB4_GRP1_PERIPH_SYSCFG); SYSCFG_PWRCR_REG |= (0x01 << 0); while(LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_VOS() == 0);   FLASH_ACR_REG &= ~(0x3F << 0); FLASH_ACR_REG |= (0x3F << 0);   LL_RCC_PLL_SetSource(LL_RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSI); LL_RCC_PLL1_SetM(4); LL_RCC_PLL1_SetVCOInputRange(LL_RCC_PLLINPUTRANGE_8_16); LL_RCC_PLL1_SetVCOOutputRange(LL_RCC_PLLVCORANGE_WIDE); LL_RCC_PLL1P_Enable(); LL_RCC_PLL1_SetP(1); LL_RCC_PLL1_SetN(30); LL_RCC_PLL1_Enable(); while(LL_RCC_PLL1_IsReady() == 0);   LL_RCC_SetSysPrescaler(LL_RCC_SYSCLK_DIV_1); LL_RCC_SetAHBPrescaler(LL_RCC_AHB_DIV_2); LL_RCC_SetAPB1Prescaler(LL_RCC_APB1_DIV_2); LL

I have a PC that can't access the internet, while I must work with it. So is there any way to download and import the touchFGX examples and stm32 dev kit to TouchFGX?

I'm using FDCAN and UART (9bits) on a custom board STM32G0B1RBT6. The longer messages from FDCAN are split up in 8 bytes max and combined on the board, which works. I can see the correct array of data until the transmit function, but on the bus not anymore or data is missing.I already tried to check the UART_FLAG_TXE, but this never changes. How can I be certain my TX buffer is empty/send without having a delay?

Hi, team.Question about security of the MCU.Is it possible to log illegal access by the debugger in the state of RDP Level 1? Any bits is a available for it?

MCU: NUCLEO-L433RC-PSTM32CubeMX version: 6.8.0MDK-ARM Community version: 5.38.0.0Java version: 8 update 361 (build 1.8.0_361-b09)When I try to generate code I get this message:The Code is successfully generated under : C:/Users/.../project Project language : C but MDK-ARM V5.32project generation have a problem.I open the generated project with uVision and when I try to build target files I get this message:project\project.sct(7): error: L6236E: No section matches selector - no section to be FIRST/LAST.Not enough information to list image symbols.Not enough information to list load addresses in the image map.In the uVision project window I also noticed that there is no Application/MDK-ARM folder with startup_stml433xx.s file. Does this mean that CubeMX is not generating this file?How could I solve this problem?I would really appreciate the help.

Hello,we (me and @Daniel Laszlo Sitzer ) and are working with a product based on the STM32MP157A and using TF-A, U-Boot (but not OPTEE).We are in the process for transitioning from TF-A v2.4 to v2.6 and are tryingto understand how we are supposed to transfer the flash layout to TF-A via DFU.In TF-A v2.4 we used to transfer the flash layout as a STM32 image via DFU to TF-A BL2, then we would transfer a FIP containing another TF-A and U-Boot which would parse the flash layout and expose the correct DFU interfaces to allow for flashing individual partitions.We noticed that in TF-A v2.6 support for STM32 images was dropped but more importantly support for transferring the flash layout in plat/st/common/stm32cubeprog*_usb.c was removed.We have understood that by now only FIP is the supported image format for DFU file transfers to TF-A. So we would like to understand if we are supposed to pack the flash layout in to the FIP file that we upload (currently only containing TF-A and U-Boot

I am trying to read a square wave, or rather I am trying to detect when a square wave is falling using the Nucleo-F746ZG board. Using CMSIS v2, using STMCubeIDE 10.1The square wave comes from a flow sensor, and every time it goes from high to low an interrupt is supposed to increment a value within the program.in the .ioc file I have set up a pin and an interrupt, the pin is called FLOW_SENSOR_Pin, and the interrupt is called FLOW_SENSOR_EXTI_IRQn. For reference the pin is the PG3 pin. I have checked the signal with an oscilloscope and the sensor works as intended. The code compiles and is downloaded to the board without problems, though the interrupt never seems to trigger. I have attached the relevant files for the problem.Below is the init function for the flow sensor thread. GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0};  GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = FLOW_SENSOR_Pin;  GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_IT_FALLING;  GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLUP;  GPIO_I

I am using CubeIDE 1.11.2 with a STM32F3DISCOVERY board and have created an IDE project via the integrated CubeMX GUI.I want to activate read protection via HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram as well as the write protection for the FLASH area of my firmware (applying the same HAL function).But HAL only allows one of the two features at a time.The reason is that for every single action (write RDP and write WRP) HAL completely erases the OptionBytes via the FLASH peripheral (as you can see in the HAL source code).It is important for us to enable RDP and WRP at the same time!I could do it the bare metal way, but our project is intended for all our used STM32 MCUs and that's exactly what HAL was created for.Please, can you tell me a way to enable both RDP and WRP with the HAL functions at the same time?Thanks in advance!

Hi! I am working on a project using a STM32f407 board, I wrote the code but when I try to load it, an error shows. I saw a similar problem but the solutions didnt work for me. Here is the build output

Hi, I am looking for a replacement of VND600SP. When I searched this part, it was obsolete already. Is there any recommendation for replacement of this part? I wish there is a drop-in substitutes of VND600SP.Thanks in advance.

Hello. I'm interesting about ST202EBTR. If I use it in 3.3V, what difference is it compered in 5V.

Hi, I am trying to use a 4 I2s microphone. And I am using cubemx.I made work both of them with a sinple DMA transfer.I used I2s half duplex reciever 16of32bits sample rate 48Khz and DMA for 48*2 samples with uint16_t format. For that I used DMA1 stream 0, pheriferal to memory, half word... circular.Then I used HAL_I2S_RxCpltCallback to make things in mi code.All works well.The problem is when I include another I2S module (i2s3),I sused cubemx to obtain same configuration but in this case I used DMA1 stream 2.then  MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_I2S2_Init(); MX_I2S3_Init(); HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA(&hi2s2,(uint16_t *)data_i2s2,I2S_BUFFERSIZE);   // HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA(&hi2s3,(uint16_t *)data_i2s3,I2S_BUFFERSIZE);It is possible make different dma streams in parallel. I am afraid becouse i have just to realice that stmf401re has only one DMA module. Can you help me with this?

Ideally using something like the HCI_RESET command is preferable for our application rather than simply cycling power or resetting the system. Is there some procedure for recycling the M0 processor in the stm32wb while leaving the application processor running? I'm not finding any informatio on what to do after issuing HCI_RESET to try to get the BLE radio back up.Thank you.
