I can't find the update option in TouchGFX designer software. Do I need to uninstall existing designer manually and download X-Cube-TouchGFX package again and install as a new software to update. I know that TouchGFX generator can be updated from the CubeIDE itself. But the problem is with the DesignerThank you

While programming OptionBytes or FW on STM32WLx5 most of the time is OK.In CubeProg I have noticed, that on some MCUs, when I get reading of RDP 0xFF or 0, the next action to program something write related, it could not be done and it's failed.Statistically it's happening too often, 4 failed of 11devices ....(I had also one device, that MCU was fresh and it was already in this state.. had RDP already 0xFF - no write action possible)I can also assure, that I did not programmed any protection at this stage, it's to early.Is there any workaround to overcome this write lock state?Have checked the topics in the community, for example this.But it seems different flow to the same consequence ?If someone can help me understand this situation?What I already find out:Could it be that MSI clock 48MHz got preserved into bootloader mode? (Erratum System 2.2.2 explains high frequency problem)Could it be difference using the ST-Link v2 or v3?By no means FW is programming any OB bytes or something r

Hello ST,I am trying to install x-cube-smcard package via cube mx.I am unable to do so. I get an error everytime.Please let me know how to install the same.https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-smcard.html

I can already read the text correctly. But my project needs to use max6675 to write sensor signals and write them to NDEF, What should I do with MX_NFC7_NDEF_URI_Init?

Hi everybody,I am working with AZURE RTOS and I have implemented an HTTP web server application. I started from the example available in CubeIDE. Everything is working properly but now I need to modifiy the HTTP web page. For this, it is necessary to generate a .bin file from the .js, .css and .html files:Could somebody help me with this issue? I think it should exists a script or something like that for it.Thanks in advance.

I have ported the example code over to STM32H743i-Eval and have it compiling OK. But testing is another issue as there is little information to go on for how to set-up a client PC and connect to the ethernet port on the eval board. I am assuming that the webserver gets html pages off of the sd card and makes them available to what ever is connected to the network port but there is no detail regarding settings on the PC or an IP to browse, etc.Anyone have experience with this or know where some more detailed documentation might exist?

I have been testing the internal temperature sensor on the STM32 Nucleo-L452RE recently. I'm trying to measure the ambient temperature using this sensor, thinking that it shouldn't vary more than about 2ºC compared to the internal temperature of the microprocessor, but the readings are always several degrees higher than the temperature measured by external thermometers and sensors, despite following all the steps available in the documentation and many other forum codes for configuration or calibration.For example, I am currently reading the temperature with the code below, which shows approximately 32ºC. However, I am in a room with good ventilation, the air conditioning is on at 24ºC, a thermometer measures 24.5ºC in the room, and an external temperature sensor measures 26ºC above the microprocessor.In addition, when I turn on a LED with a button or do anything else with the board, the temperature increases up to almost 34ºC.I am unsure of what else to read or test to obtain an accur

Hi everyone, I am starting to program a board with stm32 (stm32f103c8t6) and I have the following problem.I have two codes to make a led blink, but one works and the other doesn't work.Code 1 (not working)#include "stm32f1xx_hal.h" #define LED_PIN GPIO_PIN_13 #define LED_PORT GPIOC void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); void Error_Handler(void); int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init();   while (1) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LED_PORT, LED_PIN); HAL_Delay(500); } }   void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0};   RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEState = RCC_HSE_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSEPredivValue = RCC_HSE_PREDIV_DIV1; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSE; RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLMUL = RCC_PL

I have been trying to debug my custom Azure RTOS NetXDuo application (which is based on the Nx_Tcp_Echo Server example code). My application gets stuck in a loop that it cannot return from after reading the socket_state of an established socket. The application runs correctly, but at some point (for some as-yet-unknown reason) the socket_state changes from NX_TCP_ESTABLISHED to either NX_NOT_CONNECTED, or NX_NOT_LISTEN_STATE. Based on the code of the example, the application interprets this as IDLE state, which is not correct. At this point a client can no longer connect to my server application.Here's the code.while(1) { ULONG socket_state;   TX_MEMSET(data_buffer, '\0', sizeof(data_buffer));   /* get the socket state */ nx_tcp_socket_info_get(&TCPSocket, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, &socket_state, NULL, NULL, NULL);   /* if the connections is not established then accept new ones, otherwise start receiving data */ if(socket_state != NX_

In the STM32L431, datasheet does not show PA11 as configurable to an ADC.

I'm using ST's USBPD middleware library and have it successfully working as both a source and a sink. However, I have a use case where I will need to de-initialize the USBPD library and reset the state machine back to it's initial state. Ideally when this happens, the loadswitch opens and power to the accessory is killed. I can't find an easy way to fake a dettach event, or even to de-initialize the USBPD library and reset the internal state machine. Are there functions that support this?

Hi everyone,The screen hierarchy is like below,--------------------------------------------------View|-->MyCustomContainer|------> PopupCustomContainer (under the MyCustomContainer)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I can handle the click/drag event in MyCustomContainer which is under the view.I created another custom container that is a pop-up screen to show on MyCustomContainer. I want to handle the click-and-drag event in PopupCustomContainer but can't.View::handleClickEvent(evt); cntAirConditioner.handleClickEvent(evt); // my custom container that have a custom container.In the view screen, I called these functions but in this situation, the events are triggered twice on MyCustomContainer. If I just call the "View::handleClickEvent(evt)", I can handle the events in my custom container but I can't handle the other custom container which is in my custom container.I hope the explanation is clear.Thanks for your help.

I have a working, basic SPI transmit working with DMA. It transmits 20 characters in loopback mode and is working as it should. The GPIO Pins are set up correctly.SPI Configuration;void SPIInit() { RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_SPI1EN; // Master SPI1->CR1 |= SPI_CR1_MSTR; SPI1->CR2 |= SPI_CR2_DS_0 | SPI_CR2_DS_1 | SPI_CR2_DS_2; SPI1->CR2 |= SPI_CR2_NSSP | SPI_CR2_SSOE; SPI1->CR2 |= SPI_CR2_TXDMAEN; // For DMA SPI1->CR1 |= SPI_CR1_SPE; }DMA Configuration.void Configure() { // Enable DMA2 Clock RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_DMA2EN;   // Select channel 3 DMA2_Stream3->CR |= DMA_SxCR_CHSEL_0 | DMA_SxCR_CHSEL_1;   DMA2_Stream3->PAR = (uint32_t) &SPI1->DR; DMA2_Stream3->M0AR = (uint32_t) &src;   // Set the number of bytes to transfer DMA2_Stream3->NDTR = 20;   DMA2_Stream3->CR |= DMA_SxCR_MINC;   // Configure data direction Memory-To-Peripheral DMA2_Stream3->CR |= DMA_SxCR_DIR_0;   // Enable DMA2,

Hi, I'm using an STM32H745IIT6, in the package I have there are also the SMPS pins. But in my application I don't have to use the SMPS.The question is, what should I do with these pins:Searching the internet, I saw that someone connects them all to ground, but I haven't found any explanatory articles or clear indications. Can you tell me how should I connect these 4 pins when I'm not using the SMPS?Thank you.

First, build the package installed from STMicro's official website with the MACHINE name as "qemux86-64".And is it possible to display about 6 applications such as camera and video playback using demo launcher when started with "$ runqemu"?I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hi i am very new to all stm32, i have some project that i want to move to stm32 mcus. I would like to know if i have a nucleo board that is not in the list of selections that exist in designer, or i have selected an mcu that a dev board does not exist at all like H755ZI what should i select as board. Also about screens until now i have used 2 controllers ili9488 and RA8875 for larger resolution, how this can be used since the discovery boards have other displays that do not specify what they are, and how all these things can be fixed with touchgfx. Is there any guide that explains these cases that i could read?

I am using STM32F407 and STM32F767ZI on Nucleo and other boards. My configuration is a simple potentiometer as voltage divider (200K or 1K) to generate the analog input voltage.Even with stable voltage on the ADC input (verified with my fluke 117 & Picoscope 5000, 2,000V, delta < 5mV), the values read on the ADC vary over ranges of about 100mV (0,117mV). My question: 1) What is a typical accuracy one can expect on such a simple configuration.2) What is the major contributor to this inaccuracy, and what can be done about it.Note:Detailed analysis added as an attachement.

I'm using `rfalListenStart` in ST25RFAL002 with ST25R3916 to emulate an ISO 14443 Type A card with 10 bytes long UID. I've noticed that `rfalNfcDiscover` can work with 10 bytes long UID, but `rfalListenStart` cannot as the code goes: switch(confA->nfcidLen) {   case RFAL_LM_NFCID_LEN_04:   st25r3916ChangeRegisterBits(   ST25R3916_REG_AUX, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_mask, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_4bytes);   break;     case RFAL_LM_NFCID_LEN_07:   st25r3916ChangeRegisterBits(   ST25R3916_REG_AUX, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_mask, ST25R3916_REG_AUX_nfc_id_7bytes);   break;     default:   return ERR_PARAM;   }and the Auxiliary definition register in the datasheet shows only 4 bytes/7 bytes/RFU are available. I'm a little confused, is there some limitation on emulating 10 bytes long UID, or i'm misusing it? :flushed_face:

I don't find any information about what pins to use for CAN, so I'm guessing it doesn't, but I'd like to be sure. I have a "blackpill v3" board.If not, what is a commonly used CAN controller IC?

Does anybody have a step-by-step description how to import the STM32F3348-Discovery_Demo project - distributed in the firmware package of the Discovery board - into STM32CubeIDE?
