When the server starts up can select - USB - I can see STM32F407 Discovery -VID:115 PID:407). I ok the dialog and Native is Name in Output Tab. I can't upload any designer projects as the designer can not see the board either.

I uploaded the STM32F407 FW to the board, that I downloaded from the website (did not build myself). 

I have the AWE Designer Version 7.A.0.8 STMicro.

I have both USBs plugged in, CM1 at top of board to PC, and CM5 connected to same PC, I can see the Speaker (AWE Audio Class) in the speakers in device manager.

When audio weaver starts up it launches a separate application called awe server. This is the connection manager for audio weaver designer. ​
