The

http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF253187

is used to communicate with Sound Terminal evaluation kits and requires a third-party driver to operate correctly. Driver is available from

http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm

.

Though FTDI driver is already included in the APWorkbench setup package its installation will be completed only once an actual APWLink I/F is connected to the PC, via USB. If this does not happen the communication with such I/F will be disabled.

Note that APWorkbench can still be operated either in simulation mode (no communication with any actual IC/device) or through an

, if available. Also, STAudioHub interface is recommended for ST MEMS Microphone evaluation.

depends on your windows you maybe have to install the drivers manually, even if windows thinks the drivers are okay then apworkbench will not find them

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same issue with the FTDI drivers.

Any luck on that front?

Thank you,

Jonathan

I have installed the drivers manually under Win7(64) with APworkbench(64), still not found.

Any suggestion on what to do next?

Jonathan,

Make sure to download and install the proper driver version for your OS (64 bits) from the FTDI site.

Also, the driver installation will be completed only after an actual STAudioHub board will be plugged on the USB port.
