I am going to make some ST7MC demo, target to use TQFP44, my program size is within 24k.

According the latest selection guide, I should use ST7FMC2S6T6, but I dont have S6T6 on hand, I just had some S5T6 on hand, is there any other difference in peripherals? Can I use this to make demo first?

Hello,

effectively the S5 24K Flash device is not more present. Being an ST7MC2 the peripherals are identical, the only differences are in terms of memory sizing and mapping. So you can use the older S5 for your demos and then remap the code when you will pass on S6 device.

Regards,

Tanio
